Delicious vegetarian restaurant! The food was very good, different than the average vegetarian dishes in Amsterdam cafés. Cozy, cute, quiet, relaxed, great daytime restaurant to have food at a "restaurant" pace. We felt relaxed having our 2.5 course lunch (too full for dessert). Service was super friendly, and knew the menu well. Good wine selection and a lovely cat (Tom) that visits from a neighbor's. Dog friendly as well. They change the menu sort of quarterly I think, will go back soon to try more of current menu as well. 4 starts as didn't try wine pairing

Beautiful place with great food! It’s recommended to come when there’s still light outside so you can appreciate the beautiful building inside-out! And maybe even take a walk in the park.

It was our first time at the restaurant and we were very happy to be indulging there last night. Our service was polite and attentive. The sauces in the asparagus appetizer, and in the following fish and carrot dish were bright and delicious. Fish was cooked perfectly. Meat was good The cheese platter was chosen well And the highlight of the desert was memorable. We also enjoyed the wine pairing and the overall experience was very pleasant.

Amazing restaurant! I’m not a fan of vegan food but this place proved me wrong. I ordered grilled polenta dish and it was absolutely delicious! They also have a nice wine selection, I had Grüner, that is not so easy to find in restaurants. Also the outside tables overlooking the park we’re just perfect.

What a fantastic spot for lunch! The location -- in an old 18th century house, in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful parks -- cannot be beat. We sat outside, and loved our view of the garden area (see photo). The cuisine is innovative and delicious, the servers are friendly and professional, and the setting is sublime, truly an oasis of peace and beauty. We live on the other side of the city, otherwise we would come more often. Wonderful and highly recommended!

The food was delicious prepared with fresh, organic and local ingredients. The place is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by gardens and nested in a restored building. The staff was friendly, with great pase and explanation of each meal. Highly recommended for a food/experience in Amsterdam!

Beautiful spot, cost yet stately, they cook with the best ingredients, mind the environment, and source their ingredients locally as much as possible. In the summer the garden is awesome, and year-round you can book the “old kitchen” for a group of up to twelve people for private dining, which is awesome. I come here at least twice a year, and I’m never disappointed. I don’t drink wine myself , but I hear from friends that the wine pairings are really good too. All in all an awesome spot which you would normally not expect in a busy city.

Beautiful outdoor patio with views of a large garden. Service is always professional and friendly and the staff goes out of their way to make sure your experience is a positive one. menu changes regularly so be prepared to try new things which wont leave you disappointed. The panzanella is fantastic and hopefully brought back in spring 2023 :)

The greatest Chardonnay available in the east of Amsterdam! A great location too, so very esthetic. Unfortunately open until not very late (~6pm) and therefore it's unfortunately usually too early to enjoy this amazing wine.

A lovely experience every time! The staff working in this building recognise the uniqueness and impact of the surroundings; their attention and friendliness seem like a beautiful framing to a work of art. And then there is the food; whether you're visiting for a coffee, a full meal, or an event, everything is delicious. The concept 'slow food' provides you an opportunity to take in your surroundings, have a deeper conversation and basically exhale. So take a little time and visit.

An oasis in the city of Amsterdam for a perfect escape for a meeting or dinner. We actively recommend this venue to our clients and love to come back ourselves to this green environment where we enjoy the cozy and authentic atmosphere together with the sublime food. As soon as you put a foot on the pebbles of the estate and hear the sound of your footsteps, the wind in the trees and the chirping birds, you forget about the city bustle and get into a relaxed state of mind.

This is a really special place! My husband and I had our wedding here and everything was just spectacular. All our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was and also loved the food. We also come here for dinner or a snack/tea and it is always a great experience. It is obvious that they care about their ingredients and the preparation of food. The food is thoughtful and delicious. The place itself is just magical - you feel like you are in a different time when you are there. A must visit!

Wonderful spot in nature, with so many colourful flowers and plants. Such a shame that zero effort is made on the whole restaurant part. No table clothes on the terrrace, tasteless food (I had a cold dish called "aspreges blablabla" there were clearly 3 baby aspargus in my plate. The rest was salad and 4 or 5 other pieces of vegetables with a really insigniificant dressing. Glasses cleanliness was not really... there. For the whole lunch, we really felt for the 4 poor waitresses who were totally overwhelmed by the amount of clients present that day on the terrace. Not enough staff, that's for sure. The presence of a manager on the floor would be highly beneficial seing the lack of experience of the 4 young girls responsible of the whole thing that day. We had to ask 3 times for water for our dog, the cream with the coffee was simpluy forgotten and everything took very, very long. Very average experience, which is sad for the location. It's so beautiful and majestuous that you kind of expect... a bit more.

Sad it's closed for Corona. Menu is tasty, atmosphere is - beyond. Service could be improved (talking about regular days you can sit there). I wish they had a delivery menu or at least take away with some food options. Coffee is great! Also suitable for vegans

Ordered 2 different fish dishes which came with the same sauce. This is taking shortcuts and not ok for dishes of 20+ euro each. Other than that: delicious food, service is ok.

Cozy place with great food and a cat visiting the place sometimes (it’s white and likes to relax on the comfy chairs when no one is watching. And if someone is watching, he’s not bothering. Too cute :) )
