Had dinner here tonight and what a treat. We had the gnocchi and ravioli. They do not take reservations and open at 6 so we got there at 545. If you want a seat you better be in line by 550 as there are 32 seats total which includes a 8 seat table. It was packed at 602 no more tables. Great food

I will start with the customer service first, the waiter it was very impolite and rude. Also we ordered 3 dishes and asked to be served at same time. Well it didn't, they all came in different timing plus we waited for more then an hour. (The Restourant was almost empty). About the food, the pizza came warm, not hot. The pasta will extremely oily, and the gnocchi was over cooked and below average taste. We did not finish the dishes and left hungry. No one even asked why we didn't eat the dishes when we were paying.

It is a small quaint restaurant with true authentic and delicious Italian food. The Caprese salad was fabulous. The mozzarella was a perfect consistency and the tomatoes were ripe and tasted like they were just picked. The wait staff are very efficient and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We had a delightful dinner at this small and cozy Italian restaurant which is run by a husband-wife duo, who go out of their way to make you feel at home. The ambience is tough to beat, and the food is exquisite. We got there at 7 o'clock, right before a large rush came in. With only 2 servers and the tables full, we were wondering if the service would deteriorate during the course of our meal, it did not. These are real Italians working at a real Italian restaurant. No, imitations here...they have Italian wines and Italian beers, and they make food the old Italian way.

I just wrote a novel of a review, but Google maps deleted it upon posting. So I’ll keep this short and sweet: the service was abysmal, the food was mediocre and undercooked, and the prices were way too expensive.

My husband and I dined here whilst in Amsterdam. We were looking for something close to the hotel and also something away from the usual tourist areas. What a fabulous surprise this restaurant was. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with super friendly staff and given a window table. The restaurant is quiet small so probably not suitable for children. Food was delicious. Really fresh and homemade , real authentic Italian. Service was great also. Beer and wine selection wasnt huge but we were both happy with what we ordered. Definitely make a booking though as we luckily got in without one but we dined at 5.30pm. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam and wanting to get away from the usual tourist traps .

When we arrived on a busy Saturday evening we hadnt made a reservation, because we did not know what we probably should have done so - but luckiely some women didnt show up so we were given her Table. We started off with a starter that was the most beautiful plate of cheese and and ham together with some bread (wich beeing cold is litterly THE only thing about that meal wich wasnt perfect). As a main course i picked 1 of the 3 available pastas - but dont worry you'll eat what they give you cause its fockin delicous (as gordon would put it). First time i had pasta in a Restaurant wich was al dente, like ACTUAL al dente, everything seemd Homemade to me (so it probably was). The meat was cooked to perfection, like literal perfection, seasoning perfect (like i hate spicy food, and this was like a hinch of spicy & i loved it). At the end we got a Teramisu and that was the best if ever had. Im left speechless with a more than fair 78€ bill. For comperison we were at a stakehouse the day before for 90€ 2 Persons and my meat was raw. When i told the waiter she said "you orderd medium rare🥴🥴🥴" The price / quality relation is one of the best iv ever experienced, period.

Absolutely incredible and the best gourmet pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Run by an Italian family that brings everything in fresh from Italy. Cozy interior for an authentic Italian cafe feel. Everything we ordered was magnificent. We will 100% be back when we are in town. Loved it!

This is the real deal.. everything is from Italy except the fresh basil (apparently the basil here in Amsterdam is great) The food is absolutely amazing, The staff was friendly and while all 20 seats were full, the chef's wife took the time to explain every item on the menu in detail. Beautiful, natural food served by beautiful people. Highly recommend...

Excellent meal last evening, run by husband and wife team who explained they change the menu daily concentrating on fresh ingredients hence a small menu but as diners the food is very good. They don't have a microwave and the smallest of freezers to keep ice in, so you know it's not a freezer-microwave-plate type of restaurant. Only 30 covers so waiting for a table is to be expected but worthwhile

Cute Italian spot on a tucked away corner. Good ambiance and good service. A rustic with a limited but from what I can tell good menu. Pizza and pasta. Would recommend.

Great italian food, the waiters speak italian. They said the menu changes daily, depending on what they could get from Italy. Yes, they are cooking with italian ingredients. The staff is really kind and helpful. We had pizzas, not the cheapest ones, but it was worth it. It was napels style pizza, fresh out of the oven. The atmosphere was really good, but it is a small place, you probably have to wait to get seated.

Outstanding Italian run by Italians! Excellent food, superb wines, and authentic menu. Mozzarella was first class, as we're pasta, gnocchi and meat dishes.

A quaint little Italian restaurant in a quiet street. Quality of food was good. We ordered the cold cuts, Parmesan egg plant, pumpkin ravioli and rigatoni ragu. Taste was excellent including the bread and olive served as starters. The menu is set on a daily basis. Am keen to explore what the next menu will be.

Very authentic and tasty Italian food. Small menu but everything is fresh. Just the way it should be. Do not miss the Tiramisu which is very worth to sin.

Excellent quality and service. The lasagna shines with a deep red bolognese sauce that’s baked to a slight crisp perfection. Most notably, the service from both host and server was very welcoming and kind; like a big hug from my Italian grandma back home!

This restaurant gets very busy so if you plan to go, definitely make a reservation and also check in with the restaurant first to see what they have on the menu. This was the first restaurant we went to when we arrived in Amsterdam and was looking forward to seafood pasta or any dish with seafood. We were disappointed that they didn’t serve any on an Easter Sunday. Very basic menu and was surprised that there was only one waitress serving all of the tables in the restaurant.

Small place, very very warm welcoming and service by Italian crew and the food is a must try. Menu is not big but all done in a traditional way. I ate Pasta and Pizza that evening

Lovely little restaurant with great authentic food! a bit on the higher price end, but I definitely think it was worth it for the quality. Menu changes daily and all orders are freshly made with ingredients from Italy! Staff was very friendly as well. I'll definitely try coming again next time I'm in Amsterdam!

Super gezellig!! This traditional Italian restaurant is a hidden gem in Amsterdam. It has a cosy and warm feeling, with friendly and helpful staff. Spaghetti with clams and lasagne were both great! And the wine was perfect. To top it off, 10/10 tiramisu!! Would highly recommend for a nice night out.

Lasagna is pure joy on a plate! Layers of cheesy goodness and hearty meat sauce made each bite a delight. The flavors were so comforting, and the portion was just right. A definite must-try for lasagna lovers!

A very cozy truly authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of centrum in Amsterdam. We had been to their original place (unfortunately temporarily closed due to staff shortage) a few years ago and were extremely happy. This place is no different. Very small menu of all homemade dishes. 3 appetizers, 2 first courses and 2 seconds with only tiramisu for desert. We started with porchetta which was very tasty then shared pasta with butter and sage witch was delightful and then had their grilled filet seasoned to perfection and cooked truly rare as we like it. When in Amsterdam this restaurant is a must visit. Btw- they have opened a pizzeria which we will probably visit as well. Oh they also own two restaurants in Aruba we were told.

Today was our first diner in Amsterdam, we saw this place online and thought it looked really cozy. It indeed was!! The two girls who served us explained every detail of the food and asked us many times if we needed something else. The food was absolutely delicious and if I may recommend you something it’s their house wine! We are excited to come back to this place.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why.
