Do NOT eat pizza here, it’s really disappointing and the management don’t know how to do their customer service correctly. People often mention pizza, good, great, nice, Amsterdam, staff, service, cheese, gluten, friendly,

Cafe Piazza is a fun place to have a meal. Just outside the red light district, along a canal, and good food... We started with calamari and bruschetta. I had pasta and my wife ordered lamb. We are both very happy with our dishes.

This place was a delight. The service is fast and friendly, and the food was great. The Calamari was the best we've had in Amsterdam and the pizza had plenty of meat and cheese. The prices are fair as well. I would have no issues recommending this to family or friends.

I stayed in Amsterdam for 8 days and came to Cafe Piazza 4 times. This place is SO good! You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes or pizza. Plus they have vegan cheese, which was much appreciated for a friend’s dairy allergy. If you are looking for Italian definitely check it out!

Amazing place with delicious Italian food and very kind staff. Extra points for having a separate gluten-free menu, so that people who cannot eat gluten for any reason are able to have a tasty meal there with no issues. They offer some Polish dishes as well, so it’s a nice surprise for Polish people (and not only). The location is also great and the atmosphere is really pleasant and cozy. I highly recommend!

Very nice restaurant with a lot of Gluten Free options. Nice staff. Home made Lasagna is gluten free and great. As is the Tiramisu.

Food was okay, but a bit pricey. As soon as I sat down they asked if we had any allergies which made me feel at ease. They offer gluten free pasta for most dishes. I got the spaghetti aglio, olio, e peperoncino. It lacked flavor and there was way too much oil. On the other hand, my partner ordered the shrimp pasta and said it was pretty good. They also offer vegan alternatives for the pastas that have cheese on them. Overall I'd say it's a good place to eat if you have food allergies, and do recommend.

We had a really nice experience here! The staff was helpful and having a gluten free menu for one in our party was fantastic. It didn't take long to get our food and it was delicious; the pizza was done perfectly and everything had great flavor. We plan to return on our next trip to Amsterdam! And it's worth getting the bottle of wine over the carafe.

Nice intimate restaurant. Good food. Managed to walk in without reservation, staff were welcoming and friendly. Not classic Italian pizza but was still tasty

The pizza was super tasty, and the spaghetti had really good sauces. I wish the calamari could have been more crunchy and fried to well done. The atmosphere was cozy and the guests were nice enough to not make it too loud to enjoy a conversation. Servers were nice but took a bit too long to respond and come up to take requests.

Excellent Pizzas. Very friendly staff. We loved the pizzas so much that we landed up going there twice. Try the vegan pizza as well. The vegan cheese beats the normal cheese hands down. Tiramisu is to die for

We went here for our last dinner in Amsterdam. It was a good choice. My wife has celiac, and is very sensitive to gluten. They have an extensive gluten free menu and everything that we got tested negative for gluten on our Nima. Portions were large. The salad was adequate for at least 3 people and had roasted goat cheese (YUM!) All the other portions are good for a hungry person. Staff was friendly and well informed about dietary restrictions. Wonderful experience. Would go again anytime that I am in Amsterdam.

Good value for money. I wish i did not order the starter as it was so big. I was almost full after it and then i got a decent main as well. It was such a pity that i could not eat it. My zucchini tomato spaghetti was delicious. I can only recommend this restaurant.

Pretty restaurant, the food was good but not worth it for the price. The pizza was good but nothing special, the lasagna were quite small and the layer of cheese on the top was bigger than the lasagna which was a bit disappointing. I find that only one small layer of pasta is not enough and when we eat them we only taste the cheese. Expect this, the lasagna under the cheese was good. The service was perfect and we had our food quickly.

A really wonderful place in the heart of Amsterdam that caters to many different dietary restrictions. They had a whole gluten free menu with loads of options (that's usually a rarity!). I can't tell you the last time I was able to have bruschetta at a restaurant. The staff was extremely nice and made the entire experience.

Piazza has high food-service quality even being at one of the most popular-crowded area at Amsterdam. We started with starters: carpaccio, crispy calamari and crispy bread. Unfortunately the garlic butter wasnt soft 👎🏻. Calamari was crispy as promised 🤌🏼. As a main pepperoni and all formaggi we choose. After starters we couldn’t finished, portion of starters were bigger than normal👍🏼. And formaggi is a bit heavier for my taste but still was good. Tiramisu was okay

We had dinner at Café Piazza, because of their glutenfree options. It's great that they have an own glutenfree menu with lots of different choices! The glutenfree lasagne was good, but nothing special and small although it's very expensive (€15,90). The glutenfree tiramisu was too creamy or mostly only cream? I missed the biscuits there. All in all we felt not very welcomed there, because of the rough tone of the staff. We had not a warm welcome and after finishing the lasagne we waited for a long time until they came again. So I would not come again, even it has really lots of glutenfree options.

One of the fewest places with such a friendly service. The waiter was very carefull and happy to assisst. We started with two bruschetti, continued with two different tasty raviolis, where one was the dish of the week and the other a very yummy ravioli verde, and endet with a delicious tiramisu.

Kind of stumbled on this place. Walked in and got a table for 4 without a reservation at about 7pm. We all got pasta and my tagliatelle with truffle was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed everything!

We had such a great meal here and the staff were so kind and friendly. Everything tasted so fresh, homemade and delicious, simple ingredients but indulgent at the same time. Can’t fault a single thing and would absolutely recommend a visit! Also not too expensive.

We came here for our last night in Amsterdam and we wish we found it sooner!! All meals were 10/10. Our friend who has coeliac disease had her own separate extensive menu. Service was great and swift, and decently priced.

Found this place while looking for gf places to eat we hadn't booked but they accommodated us,first thing they asked was if anyone had and food allergies, usually I have to ask so that that was brilliant. I got given a separate menu and they can do gf alternatives on the specials menu but not pizza.I had the bruschetta then the salmon penne both were gorgeous then a chocolate mousse which was divine they also have gf beer I had mongozo which I haven't had seen I was in corfu. The staff were very clued up and thoroughly enjoyed my night would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to visit again if I was in Amsterdam

Great restaurant with exceptional service and delicious appetizers. The wine selection is reasonably priced and the location couldn't be better. My only minor gripe is with the pizza dough, which didn't feel truly Italian. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this place.

Tiramisu for sharing? No way, no in Cafe Piazza, Better take the whole portion for yourself and enjoy! Don’t regret, don’t feel guilty, this dessert is worth a little selfishness. Before dessert we had delicious pasta- :) Restaurant was full of people, but the service was efficient and we got our food quickly. Atmosphere, food and prices are very good. I'll be back for sure!

Tasty food, cozy restaurant, lovely people. I am addicted to pesto and your pasta pesto had a very nice twist. We would like to thank you for the amazing evening. We had a great time and we will be back soon!

This was an excellent restaurant. We ate pizza, salad, appetizers and wine, and everything was delicious. The pizza had a nice thin crust, tasted like it was cooked in a brick oven - just have dinner here already.

We have visited several pizza places in Amsterdam and while others have been ‘good’, this was the best! The pizza was cooked perfectly, nice crisp crust, great flavors of the toppings and cheese. Pizza di Carne included Amsterdam cheese and it was excellent. We took a chance on the Little fishes appetizer and it was not what we expected, it was BETTER! I never thought I would like something like these little fried anchovies. They were excellent, not salty & we ate every bite. We also ordered the liter of Tinto de Verano. It was like a nice Italian sangria. So delicious! The service was wonderful as well. Honestly, a 10/10 experience with food, drink & service.

The sardine starter was tasty and fresh. The pasta on my Bolognese was al dente and perfect, not mushy.

**Update: thanks for your nice and kind reply! See you soon;-) . . It's a nice and cosy place. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly right from the beginning..! But the food is very plain and normal. Almost no simple seasoning..!! So there is nothing special about it. The wine choices are very limited if you would like to have a glass of wine. There are more choices if you want a bottle!

Good food, friendly service. Pasta carbonara was great and so were the pizzas. The bruschetta, calamari, and caprese salad were great starters to share. Gluten free options available. They were able to cater to a party of 9 on a Thursday night. Thank you!

This was our first and probably best meal of our time in Amsterdam. The gluten free lasagna was INCREDIBLE. They had gf bruschetta and even tiramisu which is never gf!!!! The regular people loved their meals too. Great service. Cute place. Cute neighborhood. Totally worth it!

Nice restaurant with tasty Pizza and polite staff. The pizzas were very tasty (cheese, sauce). The only thing is that one pizza was a little bit more over baked from the bottom. Sorry for the photo, I only captured this one;)

Great staff, real nice. Cozy place in the city, nice menu with plenty of gluten free variations. Delicious pastas (had Tagliatelle di gamberetti) and pizzas (had Di Parma). Prices are really fair, great experience!

Great menu and drinks! I was able to make a reservation ahead of time online and tell them of my food allergies. Once there, they made appropriate substitutions deliciously. The sardine starter was tasty and fresh. The pasta on my Bolognese was al dente and perfect, not mushy. At least three options for noodles. Most restaurants only offer one. My husband enjoyed a cheesy, meaty lasagna. The bartender was attentive and fun and offered a modified cocktail for me so I could enjoy a dessert. We'll definitely go back.

Excellent gluten free food and wonderful friendly service! My wife has celiacs so it’s really important there is no cross-contamination wherever we eat. They take great care to give pure gluten free food…and it’s excellent! Try the lasagna…epic! They also have a g-free dessert that was great! Thank you for such an awesome experience!

Delicious pizzaria in the center of Amsterdam. The Pizza is big and tasty. The sweet red wine from italy is really very sweet 😅 If you sit outside you have an amazing View to the Nieuwmarkt.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
