Accidentally discovered restaurant with an additional very nice small outdoor area in a very narrow side street. It's nice and quiet there, which you can enjoy with a cool drink or a coffee. The subsequent dinner inside the restaurant was delicious. The service was good. For people who want to get away from the crowded streets, this would be a good recommendation.

Good food, small portions. Amsterdam sharing platter (~12.50 EUR) - good cheese (but only cheddar which was quite monotonous), pickles, and oxtail sausage which was nice Oxtail sausage bread roll - 8.50 EUR, a must try. the raw oxtail sausage is nice by itself - akin to sashimi - but the bread and the herb butter (!) they add with it makes it really special Herring - 12.50 EUR, good herring but quite a tiny portion, definitely not filling enough to be considered a lunchtime main imo

Good average restaurant with good atmosphere. Catch of the day Good and simple fish dish, with some veggies and white bechamel based sauce. Potato pie thing was interesting. Sea mussels good taste of mussels cooked in white wine. Side of fries is a little boring.

We had a few rounds of drinks here and the staff are so lovely. Nice interior and decors, and enjoyed our afternoon here.

This was the restaurant we found by accident but had the best Dutch food and local style we wanted, we tried a very tasty and warm soup and a fish plate in dutch style , very nice staff, the explained to us the history of the place and a hint, try the restroom 😉

An atmospheric place for a coffee or drink but average for food. This is a quaint place down a little alley - would recommend a visit if you’re in the area and would like an escape from the busy city. The interior is great, fun, quirky with lots going on. The food menu is Mediterranean food but it just didn’t quite hit it for me. We had 3 courses including mussels and beef. Service was fast and friendly - all in all a good spot to visit!

My friends and I stumbled upon this hidden gem while walking to the Red Light District (it’s just close but not located there). They have good food, nice staff, and this confusing but interesting restaurant interior/decoration. There are also indoor and outdoor seats. It’s not hard to get seats.

Tucked down an alleyway, meant that it is was calm which was lovely. The cuisine is a mixture of Asian and Local and was delicious. Good for a snack lunch as well as bigger meals. Definitely eat there again.

It is just that comfy place where you go with friends to have a nice dinner. Busy vibe, decent food, cool interior.

Lovey bar/restaurant. Low-key tucked out the way but plenty of space available once you step inside. Beautiful and relaxing decor inside. Very delicious food with interesting options. Would definitely choose to visit again.

We found a place in a small street brimming with people. The athmosphere was very much to our liking and the staff was very friendly and informative. Our food was quite good but we think they are specialised on fish, so I suppose the quality would make leaps when ordering seafood.

In love with this unique and hide place. Very good vibes inside and in the outside its has a romantic atmosphere. The style is like old vintage and cozy. Tasty drinks, we order Moscow Mules and a snack

This place is a beautiful hidden gem in a busy city center closeby to the American Book Center - founded unintentionally. The small terasse in the alley outside was crowded by the tourists ( smoking is allowed), so if you want to have a lunch out or a tea/coffee break, and read a chapter or two, make sure you are ready to tolerate that. One of the waitresses was extremely moody and impolite. Regarding the food: you don't get what is written on the menu, eventhough, misterious ingredients are listed with every dish, they serve variations. Leafy greens salad with a goat cheese & walnuts turned out to be a salad with a goat cheese, pear, and apple slices, fresh & crispy, fair to mention💥. The dessert 🍨was tasty - vanilla panna cotta, fresh seasonal berries, chocolate mousse, and dark brownie truffles - combination that works surprisingly well as a petit grand dessert.

Really beautiful restaurant in Amsterdam with great ambience! The food is good too. We had mussels and the fish of the day which was sea bass. The food was really delicious. The desert we had was called ‘I love chocolate’. This sounds like it will be heavily filled with chocolate but instead it was a light, fruity desert with chocolate mousse! Please try this, you won’t regret it.
