A small and cozy place in the heart of Amsterdam. Large menu with good choice. Pad Thai was amazing. Fresh vegetables and fresh meat. The soup was average in my opinion. Lacked taste and it was a tiny portion for 6,5 euros. I recommend this place for everyone who loves Thai cuisine.

Yummy food 😋😋 soup and all the dishes were tasty. Service was fast and good. Friendly staff. We paid around 60 euro for 4.

We stumbled upon this little shop in Amsterdam. Definitely a hidden gem and we will be back! Food was delicious and don’t forget to order the Thai tea. The food brings me back to Thailand. Thai tea was authentic. Green curry was good amount of spicy. Red curry was the most spicy one of all. I do think they lowered the spicy compared to Thailand, but still a very good level of spiciness. The chefs are Thai. Price is really reasonable.

Delicious authentic Thai food. The staff and owner are super welcoming and friendly. Great atmosphere and I enjoyed a lot the time yum soup and panaeng chicken.

Food is Awesome… Thai food here is the best… Talk to the gentle lady for suggestions and she will guide you to your gastronomical delight.. The service is equally good and its pocket friendly… Do come early on weekend or else you have to sleep with stomach full of fries..

I was in Amsterdam for the weekend and for some unplanned reason ended up eating my dinners at thai restaurants. This one is the best in the city. The location is perfect if you want a relatively lesser tourist crowd. It is also slightly bigger and more organized. Service was lovely and the food was superb!

They had so many vegan options and the curry was really good. The tofu had a very fluffy texture and the rice was a little bit dry on its own. Otherwise it was worth going to.

Soo many vegan options, amazing! Very tasty dumplings, the curry could be a bit sweeter and richer in flavour. The food’s affordable and staff seems nice.

I had dinner at Phutakun last week with 2 colleagues , we discovered it by chance and were lucky to find a table on the quiet terrace. The restaurant is located in a side street without traffic, so it was nice to sit there. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the food, 2 of us had vegetarian dishes and they were delicious, our other colleague had duck and he loved it too. We really recommend !

Amazing authentic Thai food, decently priced especially for the touristy area and service was impeccable and so friendly! The staff clearly care about their customers and the quality of the food, would definitely visit again!

Don't be fooled by what it looks like on the outside. Food is authentic, run by Thai people. The green curry was flavorful without being too salty. Affordable pricing.

Was backpacking through Europe and stopped in Amsterdam for 3 days. Found Thai phutakun the second day and ate every meal here until I left. It was amazing! We loved Erixx and his lovely family. Would fly all the way from Canada for their food ❤️

Honestly, I have been at all Thai restaurants all over Amsterdam. And this is definitly the best one without a doubt.. The service is as good as it gets and the food.. oh god the food is so delicious. Please try it out and have a talk with the staff, mostly the owner is there also and he is such a nice guy. All for all, 5 out of 5 stars.

The food is very fresh and nice. Its a good thai place to please your taste buds. The chef was very nice and so was the staff. We ordered spring roll, fish soup and a prawn fry, and the service was prompt and really good quantity too.
