Nice hotel. Very clean. It's a little bit out from the centre but in a nice area and there is a regular bus to central station. You can use your debit card to pay on the bus.

The staff here are very professional and helpful. The rooms are nice, comfortable and very clean. There is a bistro in the ground floor but we didn’t get chance to try it out. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to get you in and out of city center every 10 minutes.

I recently stayed at the WestCord Art Hotel in Amsterdam and overall, it was a delightful experience. While it is located a little far from the city center, approximately a 20-minute bus ride away, the hotel compensates for this inconvenience with its excellent service and comfortable accommodations. The hotel staff, from the receptionists to the room service personnel, were truly exceptional. They were friendly, polite, and genuinely cared about the guests' well-being. Their professionalism and attentiveness made me feel welcome and ensured that all my needs were met throughout my stay. The room itself was very good, with comfortable beds that provided a restful night's sleep. The cleanliness of the toilets was commendable, and the spaciousness inside was much appreciated. The shower facilities were particularly impressive, offering a refreshing and invigorating experience. While the pool was not heated, its location and view more than made up for it. Surrounded by a serene forest-like atmosphere, the pool area provided a calm and relaxing environment. The picturesque scenery added to the overall appeal of the hotel and made it a pleasant retreat from the bustling city. Despite the occasional delays in the bus service, which can be a minor inconvenience for those looking to explore the city center, the WestCord Art Hotel Amsterdam's exceptional service and comfortable amenities more than compensate for this drawback. I highly recommend this particular branch of the hotel to anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Amsterdam.

Had an amazing stay here with my partner and a couple of friends - our rooms were bright, comfortable and well equipped and the staff were lovely and attentive. We also had dinner and drinks here on one of the nights we stayed and everything was amazing. Would definitely return here and would highly recommend this place!

A well appointed three star hotel in a residential district of Amsterdam. A twelve minute bus to the centre and five minute walk to the local centre makes it a good edge of town option with good local facilities. Additionally benefits from access to two outdoor pools next door which are excellent facilities. We stayed in a triple room which was well appointed but really quite small.

Staying at the hotel at the time of this review.. the staff from reception to the lovely bar/ meal staff are wonderful. So helpful, friendly and willing to help and please. The meals , although limited, are plentiful and tasty. The location of the hotel is out the way but easily accessible by the number 22 bus which is seconds away. This can take you to central station in around 15 minutes. Love the hotel and staff. Can't wait to come back. Andy , Annelize

Customer service was not at its best for the cost. We had asked for napkins, laundry bags, and water bottles which they didn’t have. How does a hotel not have laundry bags! We booked a taxi the day before at the front desk but they did not book until the next morning. The room was nice and spacious but the pillows were too big. The bathroom was okay but the shower’s light was not working. The phone also wasn’t working. The hotel did have a bus stop right next to it which was convenient. The view was of a broken down train station. The breakfast was okay. Overall for the cost of the hotel, I would not recommend this.

Really nice hotel, rooms are great with good beds, bathroom and TV channels. Service was good, breakfast was ok but you would get better in the city but not always cheaper. Pay your money and take your choice. The location was very good, a ten minute bus ride euro 1.50 buses early 6/7 minutes even late at night it was a ten minute wait. Highly recommended.

Good, modern hotel. Good location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Good coffee machine. Food could be better. (But breakfast was very nice!) Also no bottled water in the room. Would be nice to have some for isolation.

Great hotel for family and business travelers. 5 minutes by bus to downtown and basement parking for business travelers. Right off the ring and close to the airport. I have been staying there for the last 15 years and always enjoyed my stay. The restaurant is OK but the breakfast buffet is great. Clean and contemporary with wifi and USB ports available.

Great hotel, they went the extra mile when i was late for breakfast, and it was very good. Best choice if you need to be close to the filming studios, and there are good coffee shops close by as well !

Situated a bit out of the city centre but the number 22 bus is frequent and about 10-15min ride into Central Station. There are some supermarkets and cafes/restaurants a bit further up the road so we often got the bus from here but there is a stop pretty much outside the hotel. Check in was easy enough although we were asked to give lots of personal information such as occupation which I didnt like. Our room was of a good size with a glass wall for the bathroom which had a separate shower and bath. The bed was comfy and we had a good night's sleep. It would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the room but there was tea and coffee. There was a good selection for breakfast in the morning of hot and cold food. The pool area was closed for winter but it did look big from what we could see. We had some drinks in the bar on our first night but the bar wasn't always manned as they were focused on serving food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

It was one of the best short stay hotels I've stayed in. The hotel is located in a quieter district of Amsterdam, near the port, about 40 minutes by foot from the center. Check-in and check-out were quick. No problem with arriving at 13:00, the room was waiting for us already. The hotel' restaurant is good with very professional and quick service.

Lovely hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and spotless, great breakfast and bar food, bus stop outside hotel, 10 minutes to central station, would definitely go back 😀

I didn't stay here but my in-laws did. The first night we met up for dinner was great had a beautiful meal and great service. The next day when we came back and we're ordering drinks for our large party the barman was unhelpful and not friendly. There was a shift change to evening staff and have to say they were brilliant and nothing was a problem but because of the earlier experience we booked a different restaurant down the street.

We had a wonderful time, comfortable and clean rooms. The bathroom was nice, clean and modern. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food and service in the bar was amazing too. Would stay again

Nice hotel. The staff was welcoming and attentive. Even if you have to check out at noon you can leave your luggage at the hotel for the rest of the day. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options (for all tastes) and it was a great way to start the day 💯

Medium class hotel about 3 km away from the city centre. In principle a good and clean place. The only annoying was that it was not possible to change the batteries of the safe in my room within 3 days after asking several times for it. It also was unfortunately not possible to switch off the relatively loud fan in the bathroom. The food served in the restaurant, on the other hand, was excellent.

Stayed for a night and I hav to say that hotel and room is very clean and neat. Nicely and modern decorated. Food choice for supper was limited but Art burger was really tasty. Standard choice for breakfast. Definitely recommend.

Spacious and very clean rooms. Friendly staff. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk into town. However, there are buses outside the hotel. The Uber service is also very reliable in Amsterdam. I thought the breakfast was overpriced- €21 for a buffet. However, we had a lovely stay and would recommend if you don’t mind being outside of the town centre.

We had a great stay. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good as well. The hotel is situated just outside of the city centre but there's a bus stop just outside of the hotel with frequent service into the city centre.

It's very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly, food at the hotel is tasty so breakfast is a great choice. The hotel is right next to the bus station (bus number 22 that takes you all the way to downtown or to train station). I enjoyed the stay here.

Very simple hotel with everything you need. The food is actually excellent, we had breakfast every morning and at a few times at the restaurant. It is a very clean hotel from top to bottom. The rooms are very nice and cozy with a wonderful new bathtub that is long and big enough for anyone. Great coffee and tea in room and refrigerator. VERY close to central via 5-10 min easy bus ride. Bus stops right at the hotel and takes you to Amsterdam Centraal where you can catch any boat, train, metro etc anywhere! No hassle and the bus is recommended as it was easy and clean. We purchased our bus passes from the reception for the whole week and didnt have to figure out how to get the tickets. Just ask the reception and they will get your tickets for you. The staff was really incredible. Everyone is hardworking and very happy to see guests at the hotel. Anything we ever needed and we did need a few things they were there for us within a few minutes. They are so receptive to any needs you may have. Ludwig and his crew were great! The restaurant staff was terrific too. We stayed for over a week and were glad every time we arrived back to the room from a long day to rest with a wonderful shower or bath and a clean nice room. The beds were perfect and we slept like babies every night. Thanks Westcord Amsterdam! A+ Your friends from the US Daniella and Astrid

Nice and calm place not so far from the city center. If want to get the city center by bus, there is a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel doors. Quite good breakfast and really helpfull service desk.

  • 3/5 Elisabeth 2 years ago on Google
+ The location of the hotel is very good. You can reach the center in about 10 minutes. The bus stops almost directly in front of the hotel. The rooms are large and contain everything necessary. - The employees are unfriendly, you are not greeted. Breakfast is definitely not justified for the price and it sometimes took up to half an hour until everything was refilled. There were some foreign hairs in the bathroom and bed. Due to the price/performance ratio, I would not book the hotel again.

If you are here in Amsterdam to see the city and come back to your room only to sleep and store your things, this is the right choice! Clean rooms, good and simple breakfast, and friendly staff. Although it has some down-points as well, like the showers and bathrooms; there is no place to wash hands in the bathroom for example lol! note that there is absolutely no place to park your car, and the hotels parking costs 35 euros per night which is insane

Beautifully modern designed hotel with lots of modern artwork. The room I was in was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the design chic. It is a great place for tall people because the shower is spacious and high up, and the blankets are 2.20cm long, allowing a comfortable sleep without freezing feet. The breakfast has a good selection and is very fresh and healthy.

We chose this hotel for our weekend stay in Amsterdam. The check-in process was fast and straightforward ans we were greeted by their helpful staff. Our room was clean, cozy, modernly decorated and spacious, living up to our expectations. We found the breakfast to be full of healthy choices and treats for the sweet tooth. The availability of an underground parking lot was greatly appreciated, while the hotel location is a pleasant 20-25min walk to the city centre. All in all I would recommend the WestCord Art hotel and wouldn’t hesitate to choose it for my next stay in Am’dam.

The rooms are nice, although the decor is definitely a little loud. Breakfast is pretty good for hotel standards and the room wasnt too small. Room service did not show up for 2/5 days, however that might have had to do with the times we were in and out. Staff was pleasant, even at 2 am.

I've stayed there many times, this is the standard Vopak (shipping agent) lodging choice. Very beautiful and nicely decorated (modern art style) hotel, the perfect stay for a small business trips, one hour walk away from the center of the city. Location is peaceful and view is not bad. Breakfast is good quality and adequate (nothing super-fancy). However, the number ONE feature of this hotel is the personnel, they are all so kind and helpful. Good job.

The staff could not care less, they dont even greet you when you enter ! Breakfast was very low quality : everything is frozen and has no taste. Elevator is not working properly. Bed is unconfortable. And on top of all: extremely expensive!! Parking is a robbery!! No pool avalaible despite the pictures on their web site !Avoid that hôtel!

We are so happy with our stay! Totally worth it to pay a little less and live a short distance outside city center. Super convenient to take the bus right outside the hotel, 10min. Or walk about 20-30min which we did one day to explore all the beauty of Amsterdam! So stunning! Clean and tidy room. Big enough for two people. One negative thing is the paper thin doors, but still not too mad about it

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days, very comfy rooms but there was no way you could charge your phone in a properly way. The first breakfast was very pleasant, fresh fruit and many choices. The second breakfast was very poor, there was no bacon, no eggs, barely bread and no fresh fruit. We paid for two breakfasts but got one breakfast instead.

Could have given it four stars, but the location is quite far from the centre of the city, which we were aware of going in and is probably why the cost was what it was. The use of a pool is a nice bonus but was very busy given the heatwave. Staff were lovely too. There were a few stains around the room, but nothing too off putting.

Staff was absolutely fantastic Room was lovely and clean and when the cleaners come they done a brilliant job. Pool is a great size and also very clean. Was very happy with our room and it made our 1 year anniversary very special. Highly highly reccomend

Had a lovely time. Hotel was really nice as were the staff who were polite and helpful. Perfect location. Short walk from the main centre but just far enough to be not as mad hectic as central. Will definitely be staying again.

Great location, 40 mins by foot away from the city centre but there is a bus stop less then a minute away from the hotel. Nice hotel, friendly staff. Restaurant has a small menu but the food is nice. Rooms are lovely but very warned the room we were in ,there was a small step at the end of bed. Toilet and bathroom are separate.

Easy place to navigate, once you arrive from central station . The number 22 Bus from Central station , takes you directly to the hotel complex. After you arrive , you’ll then be greeted by the receptionist. Both receptionist from day turn to night was warm and friendly . They offered me the best room to stay in and looked after me when checked out with goodies , with assorted breakfast pastries, fruits and a drink .. Thank you West Cord for making my stay enjoyable…

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why.
