My family and I had a really wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Amsterdam Centraal Station. Prior to checking in, I was upgraded to a suite, which was very helpful as we were traveling with a baby. As it turned out, the room we stayed in had just been renovated and was very nice and brand new. The room was super comfortable and had great views of Amsterdam. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful and super helpful. Any requests we made were addressed promptly and efficiently. Special shout out to the staff at breakfast each morning. They were especially lovely and welcoming - Roberto in particular made our son laugh and was very playful with him. We really appreciate that kind of interaction from staff - it makes us feel so welcomed. The hotel is superbly situated and makes arriving from the main train station super easy and convenient. All of the best sites of Amsterdam are easily walkable from the hotel. This hotel has all of the amenities one could need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Amsterdam. Thank you to all of the staff for their hard work, we really appreciate it and hope to be back soon!

We arrived here later than we planned due to our train being cancelled mid trip. However, we didn’t encounter any issues finding the hotel as it is next to Amsterdam Centraal. We were thankful we booked this hotel months earlier as we were tired from the trip to Amsterdam. Checking in, Jaime was very efficient and he also upgraded our room from a Queen Suite to a King Suite. It was very much appreciated. The King Suite is excellent. The view is amazing and there is ample room to rest after a long day of exploring the city. My 6 year old daughter declared it the best hotel room she’s ever been in. I’m much older than 6 and, honestly, I can say the same. The mini fridge is a true mini fridge so we were able to store milk, yogurt and water (to keep cool). Breakfast is served downstairs and you are greeted and welcomed warmly. The food options are great here. Many of the Hilton staples plus some local ones as well. My wife enjoyed the pastries. I particularly liked the sausages. You can order eggs from the waitstaff if you don’t mind the wait. I’m guessing many guests also order eggs. The executive lounge is small here. It’s not very big so the tables fill up quickly. We never had a chance to sit here to enjoy the snacks, but we managed to take some snacks and enjoyed them in our room. Housekeeping does a very good job at keeping the room clean. They also left us a bottle of water in the mini fridge which was appreciated. Checking out was quick as well. Just some confirmations and we were out in 5 minutes. Overall, when we come back to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay here again.

Three great nights. Perfection everywhere. We were given a room upgrade without asking. Hotel is well located, everything is on a walking distance. Best part of this hotel is their staffs. Be it receptionist, restaurant staffs or housekeeping staffs everyone is highly hospitable. I will definitely recommend this Hotel to all those people who wish for for the great stay.

This is a lovely, central place to stay. The restaurants are great: the breakfast buffet is amazing, the lounge has great staff and there’s a Starbucks too. It’s in a perfect location. Rooms are clean albeit small and have temperature control. We were able to get early check in too. There we’re some frustrating things though. In our king room there were plugins on only one side of the bed. Also our room when the sky lounge was open we had a hard time getting the elevator on the main floor.

The only hotel that I've stayed at that offered me a free downgrade! Lol... Booked a queen room, and the staff wanted to give an accessible room which cost about 10% less when we booked. The location is good, and pets stay for free which is great. Try and get a harbour view room for the nice view. Housekeeping can be unreliable, one of the days housekeeping didn't get to cleaning the room until 7pm at night, and only after complaining.

Stayed here for one night. Big respect to Juan - such a lovely and friendly guy. Helped us book a room on the day and made sure we got early check in. Room was clean and spacious. Coffee machine, fridge, desk, wardrobe, tv, etc included in the room. Bathroom was nice - loved the soap and body lotion. Hotel itself was amazing. Definitely recommend. Pricey but worth it. Lovely location, right on the canal. Shop right next to it. And there’s restaurants and bars inside the hotel. Only fault was the air con in our room wasn’t working so it was quite stuffy in the room.

Honestly I enjoyed staying here. Room was spacious (except for bathroom but OK) and well appointed with beautiful views on the water. Bed very comfortable and deco was calming and pleasant. Great location and great parking situation... Decent value for Amsterdam Hotels and better than most other 4 stars especially in that area. Only negative is the lobby is a bit sad and the breakfast room is VERY loud.

Amazing location and even better staff! What a wonder 3 days we just spent at this Hilton property. The room was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had a balcony room overlooking the city and it was just breathtaking. Go up to the rooftop bar too, you won’t be disappointed. It was so easy to walk to places or catch the tram. Oh and the breakfast was great too, a nice way to start your day each morning. Thank you for making our visit a comfortable one it means a lot when you are traveling far from home.

Great location next to the main train station and the city center. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was fantastic and everything was clean. Room is starting to show some wear and tear, bed was too firm, our shower didn’t drain at first but they did fix quickly and the executive lounge is essentially just a place to sit unless it’s breakfast/happy hour. Room is also kind of plain, could use some decoration/color. Views however are great!

Great hotel and location. Takes care of diamond members. Great executive lounge!!!! Staff was great! Rooms a little small but only need to sleep and shower. Definitely staying here again when I come back.

Great location and staff with easy access to the entire city given the central station nearby. Beautiful hotel with great little bar and restaurant on site. And it has an interesting club up on the top floor which can get pretty exciting in weekends.

Fairly high price (also for the breakfast at 22-27€). Rooms are decent, but not very quiet (rail tracks right next to one side). Service/staff are very good. Location is great.

Hands down one of my best hotel experiences ever. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out, everything was perfect. and honorable mention to Anna at the front with guest services. She made the trip that much more memorable with her great service and warm welcome!! Definitely coming back and staying here again soon. Thank you Anna!

Service on the highest level. Close to the city center. Rooms are very comfy, some with really good views. I enjoyed my stay there very much. Many thanks for a gluten free breakfast station! So much appreciated 👍.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hilton DoubleTree Amsterdam, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service from the staff. The experiences we had during my stay were truly outstanding. The hotel's location is perfect, allowing easy access to the city's attractions and offering breathtaking views of Amsterdam's beautiful canals. Whether it was exploring the vibrant city center or taking a leisurely stroll along the picturesque streets, every moment was filled with charm and excitement. The rooms at Hilton DoubleTree Amsterdam were spacious, comfortable, and elegantly designed. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the luxurious bedding to the modern amenities provided. We felt pampered and well taken care of throughout my stay. What truly stood out for me was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. Whether it was recommending the best local restaurants or arranging transportation, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. We also had the opportunity to dine at the hotel's Eastwood restaurant for breakfast and dinner, and the food was simply divine. The culinary delights offered a perfect blend of local flavors and international cuisine, leaving my taste buds craving for more. Overall, our experience at Hilton DoubleTree Amsterdam was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of great experiences, stunning location, and outstanding staff service made my stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amsterdam, whether it's for business or leisure. You won't be disappointed! Thank you, Hilton DoubleTree Amsterdam, for making my stay a truly memorable one. Best regards, Tj

All the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast was way better than anything you ever get in the states, and the coffee was excellent! I will definitely be staying here the next time I am in Amsterdam

Best location. We stayed on the weekend, and the cost of accommodation was about 190€. The room had a garden view, and it was close to the room across from it, so it wasn't private, so you had to keep the curtains closed. The room size is too small over cost of accommodation. The shower booth is also smaller than expected.. There is a mini refrigerator, electric kettle, capsule coffee machine, electric iron, and safe. There is a cafe and restaurant in the lobby, and the lounge has a nice atmosphere and a great cocktail bar.

Amazing experience overall. Location is very convenient. We had amazing views, the rooftop terrace was marvellous, the design, the service, everything. Breakfast selection was really wide. What I did not like a bit, the downstairs toilets’ cleanliness… it looked liked a pub’s toilet. I was surprised a bit. Also we had the previous guest’s trash in front of our door during the whole stay. Despite of this, the stay was really nice, highly recommend.

Loved our stay here! Rooms - clean room with a great view of the water. We enjoyed watching the boats pass by. Not super cramped. Only draw back was that the pillows had very little fluff in them. Service - they provide warm cookies upon check-in and water bottles. Location - we wanted to stay by the train station, and this was a short walk. It is also a very short walk to tourist attractions, so we found it very easy. You can rent an umbrella for €2 per day (which you will probably need in Amsterdam, especially during rainy season) and a portable WiFi device which can accommodate 3 phones for €10.

非常差劲的服务和客房,令人遗憾这竟然是希尔顿…不建议选择这家酒店。 Like classic European hotel style: no costumer service at all!! As a premium member, I can understand that room upgrades are not possible during Christmas, but other services are almost non-existent: No early check-in and late check-out, and at least our luggage should be taken to the room?? I called room service and they said I had to pick it up myself. And there is no welcome gift in the small refrigerator in the room (not even mineral water) And the window of the room just faces the black wall😅😅😅 Apart from the location, there is absolutely nothing worth choosing. I think I will choose Marriott next time😅😅27.12.2023

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at DoubleTree Hilton Amsterdam! The views from the hotel were simply breathtaking, and every single detail was carefully thought out. From the convenient Espresso coffee machine to the digital key system, everything was designed for a comfortable experience. The bed was incredibly cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. Oh, and let's not forget the mouthwatering cookies you receive during check-in - they were an absolute delight! The hotel's location right next to the central station and all the best places in Amsterdam made it the perfect choice. I highly recommend DoubleTree Hilton Amsterdam for an unforgettable stay!

Very nice position in the center of Amsterdam. The service was very nice and Marco the receptionist was very kind and professional with us! Very very happy about his welcome, he satisfied all out requests. The room was clean and comfortable, the cleaning stuff did a very good job and our room looked like new every day. The breckfast was very tasty with a lot of choice and many vegan options! I highly recommend it.

We stayed in DoubleTree Central Station Amsterdam and we really enjoyed our little holidays! Rooms were spacious, clean and with an amazing view! The breakfast was ONE OF THE BEST I ever saw! People were so nice. Location is fantastic only few minutes walking from central station and 3 minutes walking from the main streets. Looking forward to come back in our next visit to Amsterdam!!!

Stayed for a night as part of a larger trip. Location was amazing and staff were actually really friendly and polite. Overall room was decent. Some things were broken - lamps, hairdryer - and there were dirty handprints over the mirror and the shower didn't drain properly, but otherwise it was clean and did the job well. Corridors were rather shabby though so didn't give the best first impressions considering the price you pay to stay here but I guess you pay for location more than anything.

A very pleasant stay!! Delicious breakfasts included and a perfect location. Our largest bag was damaged and the bellman actually offered two large pieces discarded by previous guests as substitutes. Totally above and beyond in our opinion. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great family friendly hotel. Brought our two small dogs with us and they did great. There are trees nearby to walk them, and a courtyard on the fourth floor which is nice. Great tasting cookies when you're welcomed. Parking is a bit expensive, but it's better than driving around Amsterdam. You can walk to just about anywhere in the city from this location. Definitely recommend!

Love, love, love this hotel. Outstanding breakfast and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is well run and appears to be a great place for people to work (and certainly is a nice place to stay). The room is very comfortable appointed with everything one needs. The hotel even provided us with fresh flowers. Will stay here again.

Outstanding Front Desk. Helped locate, gain appointment and gave directions to a Covid-19 testing center within walking distance. Normally would not be an issue but in today's world this is a major issue.

Great hotel in fantastic location. Walking distance to museums, red light district and Amsterdam Centraal station. Rooms are spacious, well maintained and staff is extremely helpful. Covid precautions in place. Oh and the warm chocolate chip cookie upon check in after a 28 hr travel day put a smile on my face!

My family was overly pleased with the accommodations at this hotel. We stayed on the connecting family room and the bunk bed and play area was a great set up. The view from the seventh floor was breathtaking. I added the celebration packet and had champagne, treats, and rose pedals when we entered. The package also included breakfast. From the time we arrived the hospitality was felt. The bar, Starbucks, front desk, and house keeper's were all friendly and enhanced the overall experience.

I really like the location of the hotel as it was right next door to the Central Station. The staff at the hotel was absolutely fantastic, always cheery smiling faces and willing to help no matter what. I also like the rooftop lounge. It has a nice view of the city. The only negative I found was that the air conditioning was temperamental and took two days before they had it operating.

  • 3/5 P 2 years ago on Google
This hotel is at the perfect location. Eastwood bar and grill is very tasty and you have to visit the roof top bar for the views. The rooms are a good size but we had to call twice to have our towels changed. This hotel welcomes pets and it shows on the chairs in the room.

Great hotel. As a diamond member I received an upgrade to a canal suite. Nice view of Amsterdam. Executive lounge is quiet, staff in the lounge are great. Within walking distance of the station and the city center. As a diamond member you get priority access to the SkyLounge. That's a really nice benefit. Normally, waiting times can be up to an hour.

This is a well located hell close to Centraal Station in Amsterdam. The hotel had one amazing service experience and one poor one. Within 40 mintues of checking into my room, I was treated to a free cocktail (made to order in the hallway). While this is partially due to my Hilton status, it was impressive. However, my room service breakfast did not arrive on time and I had to head to the airport without. Overall, I'd stay again - great location and service.

  • 4/5 Mini R. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is a bit dated, but you can't beat the location and the view of Central Amsterdam, if you pay a bit more. The rooms are decent sized, you do have a small seating area. The showers have good pressure (hallelujah!). If you are a Hilton honors, the executive lounge has a very good breakfast with four hot dishes (eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms), and plenty of cold cuts and drinks. During the day the lounge is open and has snacks. You can also rent bikes for a reasonable 15 euros per day.

  • 4/5 Lee G. 1 year ago on Google
1 night stay here, it didn't disappoint as the location was great. The hotel really clean, nice staff and good fitness centre. In my room I had really nice views. Only a few minutes walk from Central Station, the hotel couldn't be in a better location. I felt it was a little on the pricey side for what you get, hence the 4 stars. However I would stay again for sure.

We just stayed here last month. The location of this hotel is fantastic because it’s only 5 minutes walking from Amsterdam Central Station. One major flaw with this hotel: the room lighting. The indoor climate control consists of bright LED lights which brighten the room at night. It’s impossible to sleep. The interior architect really failed on this design. What an amateur. On the positive side, the restaurant has a gorgeous breakfast. The Sky bar has nice views. The staff are really friendly.

  • 5/5 Jas G. 1 year ago on Google
Excellent hotel, room with a view was great. Staff were friendly and attentive - I had the do not disturb sign on my door whenever housekeeping came by, the staff would phone my room each night to ask if I needed housekeeping or anything else as they’d noticed housekeeping hadn’t done my room earlier. Good location, very short walk from Amsterdam Centraal Train Station. Worth heading up to the SkyLounge if you can to check it out but there’s often queues and the wait can be an hour or so. Would be nice if priority was given to hotel guests over others. Not the cheapest hotel but not outrageous either, I’d stay here again when visiting Amsterdam without hesitation.

I was attending business meetings for a couple of days in Amsterdam and the venue was perfect. Service was great as well as the dinner. Lunch offer could be improved. Meeting rooms are comfortable and completely sound proof, isolating you from what's happening in the corridors or nearby rooms. Great view!

I’m absolutely staying at this hotel again. It’s in the best location to get everywhere. It’s probably one of the most convenient hotels I’ve stayed at. Also the night club at the top is a must see. People come from all over to experience it. It’s worth the wait.

'Ello chaps! DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station is located - as the name implies - literally next to Amsterdam Centraal Station. It's one of just a few hotels this close to the station, which is a big plus. Checking in, service was great - friendly and attentive. There are 11 floors to the building, with a bar/nightclub at the top. This is one of the downsides to the hotel in that for a couple of nights, the music was a bit loud and could clearly be heard while trying to sleep. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is located in a great part of downtown, so it's easy to go out and explore by foot or to meet up for a tour or hop on public transportation if that's what you're doing. We explored town by foot without a problem. There are bikes available for rent - at 15 euro per day - and come with bike locks. There is a gym on site (did not inspect) but beyond this there are few amenities. Although there are ice machines on select floors. Overall I give DoubleTree four stars out of five.

It was a pleasant stay and good room. Personnel, as always, was helpful and happy. Breakfast service was busy, yet the team attended to us and others regularly. Request where no problem: excellent in house bikes for rent and late check-out arranged without a problem until the time to our liking.
