The hotel was in a convenient location close to public transport - Metro and buses. The rooms was pretty nice and spacious with blackout curtains. The customer service on the front desk and breakfast staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms cleanliness was decent but could have been better in areas. I also booked the room with breakfast which was nice. It had a selection of different types of breads, pastries and cereals. With the standards options of baked beans, mushrooms, eggs, hash browns and cheeses. But overall I enjoyed my stay and was able to explore the city easily from this location.

***Very nice rooms and excellent service*** The rooms were clean, very comfortable and the staff was amazing. Specially Farhan did amazing job throughout the stay. They went over and beyond to help make our stay to help make our stay enjoyable. Hotel is not close to the city center but just 20 minutes away by a metro and the metro station is just 3 minutes away from the hotel. Great location too. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Amsterdam***

Excellent hotel. I recommend getting breakfast when you stay here, as they have a large variety of options and it's all delicious. Our room was large and clean, the electronic curtains and blinds are a nice touch and make everything feel a lot more modern. It's located a short walk from a metro station, which gives you quick access to Amsterdam, and we rented bikes from them to go for a cycle which was nice. Unfortunately there was an issue with the fire alarm one night and it went off several times during the night, the fire brigade turned up to check in on the hotel and to work hard to fix it.

Myself, my partner and friends stayed at this hotel over the past 6 days and we’re all pleasantly surprised with how nice this hotel was. The outside can definitely make you pre judge the place at first. However when your through the doors you wouldn’t think you were in the same place. The staff were great and really accommodating, the rooms were great; really clean and the coffee machine in the room was a nice extra! The food and drink looked and was amazing! Also the spa was a really nice touch and I felt so relaxed throughout my entire stay. We were all in agreement that we would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is modern and clean. The reception staff are friendly and professional. You will also be helped if you have problems. The room is large, clean and smartly furnished with large windows. We even had a bathtub which was great. The spa area has to be paid extra which is 19 euros per person for the entire stay. It's worth it but the spa area is the highlight of the hotel! I recommend it to everyone and it was never busy. You can get anywhere in the city with the metro, which is 2 minutes away from the hotel.

The hotel is modern with good facilities and well maintained. It is quite far from the city center (30 minutes) but is well served by tram and metro so it wasn't a problem at all for us. The staff is very attentive: everyone was very helpful and polite during our stay. The hotel offers a very good breakfast option with cooked products or fresh products. The rooms are nice and spacious, well cleaned. It's only a bit confusing when it comes to the towel change. We left two dirty towels on the floor to have them replaced and we found them again on the rack, after the clearing, not even folded. But this happened only once. Overall the cleaning was good. The hotel spa is also very nice with different sauna/steam rooms and hammam room. You have to pay 19€ but then you can access the spa anytime during your stay with no time limitation. This was a nice surprise and we enjoyed the spa even in our last day, after the checkout. The pool is nice but I would recommend the hotel to raise the water's temperature. It was quite cold and not really enjoyable to chill in the water. Almost all guests were surprised when attempting to enter in the pool.

4.5* We booked our room for 13 nights. Hotel is nice. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a small boutique in the lobby,u can buy pizza, sandwiches, drinks. Rooms get cleaned every day and if u need extra cleaning u only need to ask. I don't really have much to complain about except, I wish was a bit better WiFi and AC (its more a fan and doesn't cool properly). 😅

Good points -The room was clean and tidy when we arrived, bed was very comfy and room was warm. Nothing wrong with the room itself, very good standard. Bad points - Staff were very rude when spoken to. Would not acknowledge me when i approached them. Always had to ask for attention. When asked questions they would give snappy and sarcastic replies. Not very knowledgable about city and routes into it. Pool was a €19 charge per person. When we booked it seemed like it would be included like most other hotels would. Which was quite upsetting. Cleaning was done really late, when we returned to shower and get dressed for the evening they would be cleaning at 18:00pm causing inconvenience. It was a nice hotel, but there is lots of room for improvement…

Not much around and 50Euros to AMS airport, although only 2km away. The restaurant is tasty with Caribbean style food, but nothing hearty about it. The portions are quite small and service is a bit scattered. Our room was very nice, but cold and temp not adjustable and no extra blankets available. Also the spa is closed for renovations right now.

We stayed for the weekend there, rooms are ok but poorly sound proofed and it’s very loud because of the bar at the first level. First night someone was trying to break into our room around 4am, for almost 15min( there are lots of high and drunk people there)When we told the front desk next day she rudely told us that it’s not their responsibility to control that! The second night, thanks to the passionate screams of the lady across the hall couldn’t get any sleep either. During the 3nights stay the room was cleaned only once, when we asked for fresh towels we had to wait almost 45min! I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you're looking for a safe, quiet and relaxing place to stay during your trip

A bit far from the center but well connected. The rooms are fine for a 4 stars but some of our rooms weren't properly cleaned (hair remaining in the tub) The shampoo bottles weren't filled and we hadn't coffee capsules. We didn't want our room to be cleaned but we didn't have the hanger to put on the door. We asked the reception to not clean our room but there were cleaned nonetheless. To do the check-in we had to wait 45 min for 3 rooms. Room good Service mediocre

The stay was excellent! Friendly, welcoming and attentive staff, that have been kind to help out with whatever I needed! It’s very convenient that I could also leave the luggage after check-out. The room has great design, very comfortable mattress, it is quiet although it is facing the main street, close to metro and tram station, and the area is quiet too. I will definitely return for my next stay.

Great hotel, good location and facilities. The best thing is the treatment of the hotel workers. The buffet waiters are friendly, pleasant and very professional. David was really committed and helpful. I would repeat without hesitation.

The hotel has so many pros but smelling weed inside the room is definitely a con. The employees were willing to help to be honest. Nonetheless is a beautiful hotel!

Nice Hotel in a great area, your are in the city centre in 20 minutes with the public transportation. The hotel is clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Aline and the rest of the team for the nice stay in Amsterdam! I would definitely recommend this hotel!! 😊😊

Nice modern hotel, we booked for the spa however, during our stay the spa was being renovated and it was a shame to find out when we arrived. The breakfast was really poor. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and the cleaner saw it was my birthday and blew up balloons and left a note which was a nice touch! Nothing in the area but close to station and tram lines. Roughly 20 minutes to the centre.

It was such a comfortable stay at the Corendon City Hotel. They were very welcoming and pleasant! Special mention to Mabel and Kelsey for going the extra mile to help us renew our transit pass while also helping us with luggage storage. Would definitely recommend! ❤️🇳🇱

Excellent hotel, we stayed in the newly renovated rooms and they are very good. Beds are comfortable, lovely design, large smart TV which not too many hotels have these days and very clean. The hotel is about a 30 minute metro ride into Centraal which isn’t bad which means you save on the Centraal prices. The hotel also has spa facilities which are a great addition, highly recommended!

Nice hotel with elegant design, clean rooms, rich and good quality breakfast with plenty of options. The location is convenient as it is next to train, metro and tram stops and it splits the distance between the city centre and the airport. The staff of the hotel extremely polite and willing to help with the low temperature issue of my room by providing a heater. The staff of the Modi restaurant (located inside) specifically the lady in the entrance, was rude and the food was bad and expensive, generally an overrated restaurant.

Everything was just perfect! Rooms were clean and with a great view. The location is near every public transportation so it’s easy to explore the city. Prices are normal and equal with what you expect. In reception Danai was very helpful and always upfront to serve. Thanks a lot, I’ll come back for sure!

Our group of families & friends of about 20 people reached at approximately 11AM as our flight arrived early morning. We were informed the standard check in time is 3PM and the rooms were not ready. We understood and we waited at the Lobby area. The reception were busy handling checkout from 11AM to 1PM. When there were no other customers, we enquired the reception staff if we could do early check in but were told that we need to wait until 3PM. At 3PM, the staff attended to other customers even though we were in the queue as well. We felt that we are being discriminated. The staff were rude and spoke to us in crossed arms while leaning against the wall. The check in was painful with their arrogant faces and lackadaisical attitude. One of the staff even scolded us that we were "too much". Never in our travel experience that we encounter such front desk service attitude. We are surprised how such hotel can still survive. Check in were full of problems where they couldn't find our booking details. Apparently, you have to change your birth-right name (first name/last name) to suit their system as they don't accept our booking reference numbers. What's the point of having a reference number then? They could have handled the check in when they have 2 hours free time instead of waited until 3PM. They are really inflexible and can't think out of the box. More like robot... rude robot. My review won't change their attitude but we hope it could help others not getting into the same mess as we did.

Such a lovely stay, comfy beds, easy to get into the city and staff were lovely. Had a massage in the spa done by mina, I think her name was, she was incredible. Only complaints were guests were too noisy in the spa I think staff should go and check things every so often. Also the food and drinks are expensive but delicious.

I stayed there for two days and enjoyed the place, friendly staff but Tuan is the best. The only complaint is, other Corendon Hotels have shuttle but this one does not. PS, you can do COVID test inside the airport for free.

Hotel looks nice and modern and is clean. I thought it was quite good value for the money when we booked but depending on what website you booked on check if the spa use is included in that price because we paid €18 each to use it for the duration of our stay. Remember to bring your own sliders or flip flops if you want to use the spa or you cannot enter without buying some from the hotel which are about €10 Buffet breakfast was fine. Not the best selection but some good options. Freshly made omelettes were the best. Decent value for money but would recommend checking out other places in town for breakfast if you are here for a few days because it wasn’t the best breakfast we had over here. The staff are all really polite and helpful and the hotel was easy to get too and from on public transport. Also there is a cycle path directly outside which is about a 25 minute cycle into the town centre which goes through the vondelpark.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, I had a great experience. The services provided were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, there was one major inconvenience that I encountered during my stay - the bathroom lighting system. The bathroom used a sensor-activated lamp with a 30-second timer, and it only detected significant movement. This led to some frustrating moments, like the light turning off while I was in the middle of washing my hair, which requires some movement. This design flaw in the bathroom lighting system was a significant drawback. The bed was too soft that I was kinda shock at first because it was not like the standard bed cushion in most hotel.

Fantastic hotel will definitely be going back. The hotel had a wonderful atmosphere with it's stylish decor and friendly staff. The rooms were spacious with views over the local are and the bed was soooo comfortable. The rooms were lovely and clean and equipped with everything we needed including an umbrella which came in extremely handy. The location is fantastic with quick and easy access to tge Metro, Trams and Bus routes making travelling across the city a breeze.

Crazy place! Room are nice but: - I got an hamburger in Mondi, not good at all and I spend 21€ + 7€ of french fries. Are we kidding? An hamburger with no side dish at 21€. Crazy prices for an average hamburger… not comparable with Burger king or 5guys that are really much much better and cheaper - I have called from the room 4 times to get an answer from the reception, and the 4th time I have called the standard telephone number, as an outside call - cue in the morning for the check out. No one was working and I have to request more people to get to the desk, service is terrible and managed in a terrible way. Is a pity because the place is nice…

Not a bad hotel, but not an excellent hotel. Just okay. A problem that several clients had was not being able to check in at 3pm. We arrived at 2:15pm and our room wasn't ready until about 3:55pm. Front desk staff was doing the best they could and even offered a complimentary drink at the bar while we wanted for the rooms to be cleaned for our arrival. About 30 mins from Amsterdam Central via public transportation. It's a few minutes from a tram stop or a metro entrance and right by a cycle path. Rooms, restaurant and interior were modern and trendy. Clearly a new hotel. There are some details that need to be ironed out (i.e. earlier checkout time to accommodate on time check in, cleanliness) before it can be a great hotel, but it has potential.

3 stars are only for the welcoming staff but the Hotel in a very decent location you can get around very comfortably. Let’s come to the point where I think if you’re reading this you should be careful before booking this particular Hotel, the blinds are automatic they go up and down without our intervention so therefore they make quite a bit of noise and you can easily get out of your bed and want to know what’s happening, also there are glass all around and the light is easily coming inside. Spa and gym facilities are very nice and clean.

The room is big which is nice. The service is horrible. There is hair in the shower that’s not mine. I called TWICE and the man that’s “housekeeping” showed up with a spray bottle and mop. I can’t shower this is disgusting. The spa is gross too. This place is not clean and I’m disgusted.

Fairly large rooms. good shower. clean. strong WIFI. All you need, but not much more. If the price is right then this is a solid choice in Amsterdam. The area is not too inspirational. not unsafe, just residential and boring. Paid parking at the hotel ground and on the street. I took me five year to see that Corendon is Cor en Don spelled as one word. I can be quite thick...

The hotel is in a superb location. It is really nearby from the Metro station, which makes it going into the city or to the airport quite easy. The staff is excellent and so are the rooms - the hotel is quite modern and nice. I had a minor problem with my room on the first night and the staff were quick to help and assisted in changing my room. My only complaint is that the breakfast is charged €15 or so (I do not remember the exact charge) when you are attempting to book a room - however, if you decide to not pre book and just decide to use breakfast services, it is €10 - which I didn't think make any sense. Perhaps I have mistaken here? Overall, this is just one minor area and I definitely look forward to being here again!

The hotel was great- great location, friendly staff and very clean room. One specific staff member made our stay absolutely amazing. Salam the bartender and talented mixologist is a gentleman and a scholar... if you have a chance to meet him, ask him to make you one of his signature cocktails... you wont regret it. Thanks again for everything, and we look forward to coming back asap. Ellen & Liam

We had a very bad experience! We had paid for the Spa facilities and on the last day of our trip my husband’ swimming pants had disappeared from our room. It turned out to have been taken by the housekeeper, which means we could no longer use the facilities we had paid for and we didn’t get our swimming pants back. Instead of trying to find a solution or help us, the "supervisor" claimed it was our own fault and was very unfriendly! A compensation or other solution was too much to ask. We have never been treated with such disrespect in a hotel. In addition, the rooms were never completely clean either, there were stains on the sheets and beds were not properly made. However, the cocktails were super delicious and especially the service of bartender Salam was excellent! A tip in case you do end up in this bad hotel, ask for his homemade cocktail!

The hotel is excellent, with staff very friendly and helpful. The room on 7th floor is amazing. The breakfast is very good and dinner magnificent. The Spa is exactly like in pictures, very very nice. The hotel is 20 minutes with tram to Red District. 🤩😍🙂

Did an afternoon spa here. Women only, really relaxing nice options of pool, saunas, hamam. You need to bring your own soaps and robes. We did combo with tapas which were fine but a lot of them and a nice soup. Great price

The food was excellent and the service was next level. The waitress, Valerie was really paying attention to the details, making sure we have an excellent night. She’s a professional and motivated girl. Also, the rooms are really pleasant and comfortable. Overall a beautiful and well equipped hotel with well trained staff.

I didn't stay at the Hotel.. we have booked the dinner All you can eat experience, but found out the concept changed to regular a la carte menu at arrival. Such a shame! We used to come quite often as food was really delicious and it was great to taste all those little dishes. Now just another, ok restaurant in Amsterdam.

My stay was awesome. The room was well designed. Clean and house keeping staff keep it that way. From check in with MARINA the service was exemplary. If your lucky to see her ask her all the tourist questions. The hospitality staff are top notch. Lastly the amenities were present gym and spa are worth the small fee. Bring swim wear and flip flops

The room was clean, spacious, and offered a fantastic view. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but it was in good condition. The bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet during the night. The spa was definitely a worthwhile purchase, featuring a sauna, steam room, pool, and hammam. After spending long days touring the city centre, I thoroughly enjoyed the spa in the evenings. The staff were okay to interact with (they were not kind or outgoing, but they were also not rude or unapproachable). Also, there was a fragrance in the hotel that just smelled amazing. Unfortunately, I cannot verbalize it, so you'll just have to experience it yourself should you decide to stay here! The property was located approximately 30min outside the city centre via public transportation. This did not pose an issue for me as I made one round trip between the hotel and the city centre daily. However, this property may not be a good fit for those who like to go to their room multiple times daily. I am subtracting one star because I ended up having to pay tax for 2 people for 2 nights when it was just me staying. The hotel reservation was initially made for two people. However, my friend's flight had been cancelled, and I communicated this to the receptionist upon check-in, and he would not allow me to pay tax for just myself when I was going to be the only person staying there. Overall, I thought this was an excellent property for a relaxing city getaway.

Overall, the staff in reception were lovely, very accommodating and greatly helpful. The rooms are nice, they also phoned us to check if we needed anything more which I thought was a sweet gesture. Would of given the hotel a higher rating However, the restaurant staff & service was incredibly disappointing. The ordering system was difficult and our food was not what we expected it to be, we asked for well done cooked twice & we got brought rare to our table TWICE. and it’s not like the staff weren’t kind or understanding, they just appeared very inexperienced. Very slow we waited an hour just for our mains & our desserts were still practically frozen when brought to the table! The dessert was supposed to be “freshly made” but you could clearly tell it was not. I would not recommend the restaurant if you are looking for speedy service. ALSO VERY OVERPRICED. In conclusion book the hotel but skip the restaurant.

Very nice hotel with clean rooms. The spa area (15€ per person) is highly recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the receptionist Aline could give us very good tips for Amsterdam. We enjoyed our stay very much. Greetings Christoph & Manuel

Went on a 5 day trip with my university. Room service was good. Bed was comfortable. There is also a spa and gym which you can pay to access. The hotel is close to the tram stop which is helpful, but it's 30 minutes travel to the city centre of Amsterdam.

A wonderful experience! The location is a short 3 minute walk from the metro station, about 20 minutes outside of the city center. The hotel is welcoming with free water, local guidebooks, and friendly workers. The room is cozy and clean. Overall, a great time in Amsterdam and a wonderful place to stay!

We've stayed a few times here. Love the place really. Location if fine if you get an Iamsterdam card or pay for a transport ticket during your stay. Staff are helpful. Tried to eat at the hotel but was fully booked. One was a ladies only night too so wasn't allowed. A bit disappointing when you get the voucher for not cleaning the room but can't use it. We were on the 2nd floor, the noise from the dining room was quite loud. The pool area closed early one day at 5pm. The good points. We were given a warm welcome. Our room was clean. Not a bad location with tram and metro right next to the hotel. We managed to get an early check in no problem and 12 check out is very generous. We'll be back in a few months.
