We stayed for 1 night at this hotel and it's not a good Mercure hotel. There's no airport shuttle going to the hotel. You'll have to take a bus or taxi from/to the airport. The hotel staff were all nice and friendly but they were ill-informed about the hotel's services. For instance, a receptionist told us that there was a dinner menu while a person working in the restaurant showed us a very limited menu with only 3 meals (nothing for vegans). This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel and yet there were only 3 meals available on the restaurant's menu?! At the bar, the choice was also very limited (only one kind of wine from Italy, Spain and Chile - not impressed). There was a self-service snack shop in front of the reception but it belonged to another company. So, we couldn't charge the total to the room but had to pay for it separately. And they don't accept cash at the hotel!!! In terms of design and maintenance, there were clearly visible cracks, stains, and damages on some pieces of furniture and in bathrooms/toilets (but all areas looked clean). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. Our room was OK but it took a while to heat it up to a pleasant room temperature. Next time, we'll book Novotel or Ibis Styles because this Mercure hotel is simply not good enough and doesn't provide quality 4-star services.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days on my 20th birthday when I travelled to Amsterdam alone. It was amazing, they were so lovely and welcoming one of the ladies at the reception even went in the back and came back out with a tin of daelmans dutch stroopwafels for me because I said it was my birthday the following day, it honestly made my day. The breakfast was amazing and the hotel staff would come often to check if I needed my bins changing or if I needed new towels or snacks for my bar. The room was quite chilly but very comfortable and homely. I had a lovely robe provided to put on. They even have a restaurant connected to the hotel so you can order food straight to your room and they also have a beautiful lake outback. I loved it.

The hotel lawns especially are really beautiful. Rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. They provide FREE minibar, which is something very few hotels would ever offer. Coffee machines and kettles provided the room. Located near Schipol airport (just 2 stops from bus 369), but far from the city and you need to make multiple changes. And the walk from bus stop to hotel is also 500m. That’s the only minus point. There is a huge lake on the way from bus stop to hotel - do make a stopover. Reception staff is polite, the restaurant staff needs courtesy.

Spent 2 nights here for the Amsterdam marathon. Unfortunately the only upside was that it was close to the start of the race. Most of the staff came across a little bit unprofessional or inhospitable. Hotel interior is a bit depressing and outdated. TV in our room didn’t work which was compensated for with a beer on the house. The pasta buffet organised for marathon participants was horrible. Way too much money for this food; cold, bland and raw pasta.

What a great hotel. Was perfect for our stay. Little bit from the city. But enjoy a walk on the lake side to the Train station or catch a commuter bus around the corner. Place was clean and fresh. Lovely food and drink in the hotel also. Thank you

Awsome view to the small lake....love the ducks. Good breakfast options. Nice to have a vending area with goods to buy. Bathroom was ok, maybe have a glass door closing the shower..leaves less water on it for the cleaning lady to deal with. Huge bed, very comfortable..thou 329 had gums stuck on one of the lamps 😕

Ideal Hôtel for both rooms and location. Rooms are clean an people there are sympathic. And if you'd like to visit Amsterdam for few days, you can park you car there and take a bus line to Amsterdam's city center. Parking your car for few days there isn't too expensive, and the area is guarded and very clean.

The hotel is not new and there are clear traces of being used extensively, but it is nice and clean. The reception is very helpful. Staff in the restaurant could seem stressed in the evening as there was only one person to handle guests. One evening I saw two servants. The menu is simple with few dishes and tasty. The morning buffet is super nice with the traditional, nothing is missing and lays a good foundation for the day. Relatively good transport links to the city if interested. Perhaps a little too expensive. I had expected more of the gym, that disappointed me. All in all, a nice stay at a nice hotel.

Nice clean place to stay. Great access to the airport, which was handy due to it being a business trip. Had to stay one extra night than planned, staff were great and very attentive with assisting with booking an extra night.

Room was a little tired, but perfectly clean and habitable. The corridors have used towels left in cages overnight that are waiting for collection, which is a little off-putting. Location good as long as you are happy to catch the bus each say to get to centre of Amsterdam but runs every 15 minutes so quite easy to do. Reception staff very helpful and housekeeping staff very friendly. Restaurant food typical hotel fare, at normal prices.

Totally loved it! Clean and cozy rooms, great service and its at a convinient location especially from the airport.. However, its still easy to maneuver the city from the hotel and there are taxis that are right outside the hotel at the gas station and a nearby bus station.. I especially loved their buffet!! 🔥👌😋 My friends and I got a great experience on our first trip to Amsterdam from Kaven.I will definitely go back there if I ever visit again! 👌🙌

A nice enough hotel relatively close to the airport, but in an area that is not too busy. Ticked my main 4 boxes when staying at a hotel: ✓ Quiet ✓ Clean ✓ Comfortable and ✓ Fast WiFi The bus station for Amsterdam city center(ish) is about a 5-minute walk away and is roughly a 25-minute ride for 2.50 euros. The only complaints are the confusing entrance situation shared with a nearby petrol station and getting around on foot (like walking to and from the nearby park and bus station). Breakfast is expensive, but the BP next door has some good options for a fraction of the cost 😉

We stayed here at Oct 2022. The hotel was the one of the best Mercures. Location was ok, close to the public transport. The room was cool, clean and wide. Breakfast was perfect. Staff was friendly. It was a comfortable and luxury stay.

usually do not write a review but had to this time ! firstly was charged an extra £100 upon arrival for alleged breakfast but never ever requested this nor did we have any of the breakfast…rang up and requested a refund lady said she’d “leave a note on the system” and would receive a refund. NEVER GOT A REFUND… appalling. secondly, room was not to a clean standard had men’s curly black hairs all over our duvet (we were 2 females staying here) and near the sink in the shower, was clearly not deep cleaned before hand, had to clean it ourselves… for the price of this hotel the least you’d expect is a clean bed to sleep in at night.

Front desk employee wanted to charge me an extra commission above the amount stated in the confirmation. As I refused to pay, they would let me checkin to my room. Never would expected that an Accor branded hotel would try to rip me off. Especially because of the unwelcoming attitude of the employee working at the front desk.

Daniel and Karim were amazing! Will definitely be back. Very accommodating for our needs with a visually impaired person in our group. Very friendly and outgoing people. I can't say enough about our stay here. Will recommend to all my friends and clients.

I recently visited the Mercure Hotel in West Amsterdam for a training session. The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, with polite and friendly employees. The coffee provided was of good quality, making it a satisfactory experience overall.

I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights for business and I was truly disappointed with my experience. While the lobby looks modern and promising, the rest of the hotel is lackluster. The restaurant (if you could call it that) was very limited and the quality of the food was less than spectacular. Often times the restaurant staff would be found sitting around the back and looked completely disengaged. You are better off ordering from Uber Eats in my opinion. The rooms were clean, yet very small. The other reviews are accurate that the shower needs to be addressed as water typically soaks the bathroom floor after you're done showering. Lastly, I found that the front desk staff often looked exhausted and disheveled. This hotel is fine for those who are looking to stay 1-2 nights max. Personally, I will not be returning as there are much better options.

I had a great stay. The staff were very polite and nice to me especially the front desk guys. the hotel is just 3 minutes walk away from a bus station which made transportation to and from the hotel convenient. I also loved their breakfast.

Location is near nothing but a bp garage if you don't drive. Near bus stop is a good walk. Tram Stops about 3 miles away. One woman on the desk is not helpful at all. The other lady was amazing, depands who you get . It was about 30.00 euros by taxi to the town . The travelling to and from this hotel was expensive It's in Amsterdam West .. If you drive lucky for you, it's great. It's so quiet where it is lovely . The reception area is lovely. Breakfast was lovely . Bedroom a bit outdated. The laminate flooring is lifting in places, making it Sharp .

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The front desk was very helpful too! The washroom was not clean when we checked in. But they cleaned it instantly when we complained about it. The hotel is not nead to the city center but accessible to the city centre by bus and taxi.

The staff was so friendly. We got lost using (all) public transportation one morning and missed breakfast, but the entire crew went out of their way to accommodate us. A great hotel near the airport.

For the price, the hotel has a great localization, with amazing access to the center by direct bus, and it offers much more than other medium budget hotels. The staff is really helpful, rooms are very clean and quite cozy, and the overall vibe is quite good. Would recommend.

You do not have any shuttle and you advertise it in the airport with other Accor hotel. I spent 60€ from and to the hotel that I dud not expected to spend for transportation only.... Do not recommend until the guests will be better informed! (Your personnel in the front desk and bar are very much engaged to provide great service and are very friendly).

Terrible service, dirty rooms, and extremely unhelpful staff. Rooms didn't lock properly, random housekeeping, and they charge a huge deposit that is deducted in addition to the final charge. Really one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in.

Ideal hotel on the outskirts of Amsterdam, only a 30-40 minute ride by public transport to the city centre and down the road from the airport, again with regular connections. Best continental breakfast spread of the trip, modern and clean rooms, very comfortable bed, efficient and polite service, all that you would expect at the price in a chain like Mercure. For the location, breakfast, parking space and quality of sleep, would return.

The hotel is far away from the city centre and other hot spots (quite far) but the rates are not adjusted to that effect. I asked to add breakfast in my package as I had missed it and wanted to but it was too pricey. The rooms are small and guest convenience is not kept into consideration. The door opens right where you keep the bags, switches are misplaced, toilet is against the wall which makes it uncomfortable, there were so many of them Though the hotel is on the road to the airport but the entrance is so weird that I am sure most people miss the entrance. We ourselves helped a few people identify the entrance

It's OK. It works as a place to crash on business. Parking is fine. The restaurant is very good, limited menu but delicious. The staff is quite friendly. That said, my fridge never worked. Additionally, the AC died for the whole hotel, so I had to check our early and find other accommodations. The bathroom design makes for a very wet floor. My room had spiderwebs all up in the lampshades. The windows open, but have no screens, so it's a bug party in your room.

Went here for a Christmas lunch. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. Parking was a bit steep. The food, I found to be a bit bland. The presentation was a little plain.

Very good hotel staff service, warm and welcoming, from reception to the restaurant. Peaceful and quiet location. Self-ride bicycle to nearby Lake and Centrum Nieuw Sloten shopping area.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff, quiet room but dinner menu quite expensive and unless you have a car, there's not much nearby. Airport shuttle not working either.
