Traveled to Amsterdam for business and pleasure. The hotel lobby is very inviting and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, and it may take time getting used to taking a shower in a cylindrical tube. Location is great. Close to the RAI Center and to transportation to get around Amsterdam. Local restaurants were also lovely.

We stayed for 4 days in this hotel and the stuff was exceptional, really kind. The rooms were very clean and high-tech (that was the enjoyable part of our stay), and food was good enough. For design lovers, it's a good experience as well to see and sit on some well-known furniture brands such as Vitra, Elephant Skin, Tom Dixon and more. Highly recommended 😉

Super friendly staff, great service, big downside, since it concerns public health and safety, is the polluted air in the lobby area with pervasive cigarette smoke. When you walk in the hotel you smell the cigarette smoke immediately. Smokers stand outside close to entrance of the building and my throat literally hurt from the second hand smoke inhalation in the lobby. Usually smokers are mandated to smoke at least 7 metres away from air conditioned buildings, because of the ventilation system and maintaining clean air inside. Strange that Citizen M isn't providing clean smoke free air in their hotels, crucial for a safe stay.

Hands down the best hotel stay ever! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. They offered early check in with no hesitation, free chilled water every day, super clean and cozy! Staff was outstanding and really went above and beyond! Loved this place, can’t recommend enough!

will definitely keep this hotel in mind for my next ams visit, beds are huge and super comfortable just like the rooms. staff was also extremely friendly and helpful at all times - definitely recommending this hotel especially for short trips side note: toilet & shower inside the room can throw you off at first, if traveling with someone make sure to be close w them :)

Clean rooms. Very convenient location (about 5 minutes walk to Amsterdam Zuid). The staff were also all very nice. We didn't get food or drinks at the bar/restaurant in the hotel, but a lot of people seemed to be enjoying it. Good for hip young people, people who want peace and quiet, and everyone in between. The rooms are a bit funky in layout, but that was part of the charm for us. They are very skinny and deep and you have to walk past the toilet and the shower to get to the bed. You can also see the person in the toilet or the shower, though there is a curtain between those two and the bed should you need it.

My fiancé and I stayed for two nights in this amazing hotel. We both love the concept, the technology and the design of the room we had. Great communication with the reception and good bike rental service. The breakfast is one of the best one’s I’ve ever had: nice buffet and great food’s quality. We will definitely book again!

The rooms are small, but exactly as described in the website, so knew what to expect. The bed is extremely comfortable! All the room is controlled with a tablet and the shower has customizable colored light! The metro takes you downtown in 10 minutes. Overall a fun technological experience!!!

This place is amazing. Everything is cashless, the decor is so cool, the Wi-Fi is super fast, and the breakfast was incredible. There was an incident with a strange man outside of, but completely unaffiliated with the hotel, and the staff and fellow guests made me feel so seen, so understood, and so safe during and after the situation. All of the staff took really great care of me and my husband, and we have had an amazing stay. Everything is so modern, clean, and beautiful. Thank you!

Very nice hotel with polite stuff. Location is good 5 min away from metro station. The only reason for the 4 stars is because the room was much smaller than of what i was expecting!

This place has been my favorite hotel I have ever stayed at. From having our room ready well before checkin to giving us the best hospitality throughout our entire stay. We are still staying here and are loving every moment of this hotel. Also it is very cool that you can access lights and blinds from the app on your phone for the room!

Everything was very smart and clever, super organized and the staff was the best staff ever... very kind and always available to help. The only bad notes for me were: breakfast price 18€, a lil too much. Rooms are super small and with no window to open to change the air. But everything was perfect :)

Good but quirky hotel, with a young fun vibe. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with wide section of foods. Good coffee also! Rooms are comfortable, with an unusual shower and toilet arrangement. The rooms are controlled by an app or in room ipad. There is a a well equipped ironing room if you need it.

design at the hotel is very specific, make sure you are aware before you book it. In my room it was extremely cold even though I put the climate option of the room to max I slept in my cap. there was also a cold breeze from the window. it was very unpleasant. Otherwise service was nice, great location, food options in the hotel are also good.

Fine hotel with strange interior. Toilet and shower cabines are in the middle of the room. Fine service and very friendly personal. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good connection with local metro station. Big park just across the street.

I stayed here recently and I have stayed here before. I left a laptop charger in my room and asked about it an hour after i left the room when I was on the way to the airport. I know it was there but they did not return it to me. I asked about it several times and they say they will get back to me, but they didn't bother. Very bad customer service.

Very nice hotel with such welcoming staff. As they were informed that I will be spending my Valentines getaway night with my partner there, they went all in with cool towel animal decorations for us. We felt very much like home! Next morning trip to Schipol was very easy from there. Very Coronoaproof hotel, everything was thought through so we could safely enjoy our time there. Thank you!

Nice Hotel. As much as I love the rooms as not ideal are they with the tube design. Also one big mattress makes it bad for two business partners sharing a room. Apart from this amazing hotel. Great location, brilliant service. Great offer of drinks and food and nice to work, meet and chill out. Will come back.

Fabulous hotel with especially friendly service. Definitely just for couples though as the toilet & shower are see through & the second person needs to climb over the first to get into the huge comfy bed. Only black mark is that all the free bikes were broken so they referred us to a rental shop (the Beethovenstraat location of Black bikes) that has a bad reputation & gave us bad service (at an inflated price).

The attention we got from Manolo when checking in was OUTSTANDING. The staff were all super nice. The rooms are quirky and a bit small but ultra clean. A bit of that there are no USB chargers in any of the plugs, and I was annoyed by not being able to simply turn off the air con (you can only tune the temp up or down). The bed was deliciously firm. The bar was nice. Thanks!

The rooms are small, and for what it is very expensive! The bed is very comfortable though and I liked the smart system in the room. The hotel is in a nice neighborhood, close to a metro station and (to me) walkable to the touristic parts.

Nice staff and clean rooms! However the rooms are very small. I also do not recommend it for couples. The transparent restroom is a challenge. Overall, it is overpriced in my opinion.

As someone that has stayed in over 70 hotels in the last 2 years I can tell you honestly to avoid this hotel , no where to store your clothes , the shower in the middle of the room Doesn’t make any sense and makes it hard to move around , room Service was shocking , Bed was decent hence the two stars otherwise 1

The hotel is well located for exploring Amsterdam. 55 min walk to Dam Square passing Van Gogh museum on the way. Train station and metro 5 mins away if you prefer some transport. Absolutely no noise at night and the rooms were nice. Staff were super helpful.

The staff were so friendly! The rooms are much smaller than I expected, which is fine - personally I am not the biggest fan if the shower and toilet and bed being so close together, but it was supposed to have a capsule feel, I suppose? Either way, it was still comfortable, my own personal reservations aside. Everything was clean, and again, the staff was super helpful.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The staff is so friendly and accommodating! On our first night we had an issue with our room but the manager and the staff took care of it quickly and everything else was fine for the rest of our stay. Big shoutout to Manolo who is friendly, kind, and beyond accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Great hotel for the most part. As I was attending for an event, staff could not find my booking on the normal system. My booking was found eventually and it was all brilliant from there. The staff welcomed me back every evening. It’s in a very good location with good transport connections.
