Well, I would highly recommend the Eden Hotel. The hotel is perfectly located and within easy reach of all the sights/attractions and two metro stations. It was very easy to check in using the self serve check in points. We did have to use reception during check-in, and the staff were all so polite and welcoming. In fact every member of staff we had contact with were so helpful. The rooms are clean and modern with all the amenities you would expect. The hotel has a self-serve shop available 24/7. Self-serve pizzas and a welcoming bar. Check out was straight forward, we left our luggage whilst we spent the remainder of the day exploring. We will definitely be returning.

I truly recommend Eden hotel. Location is just perfect - safe and centrally located, close to metro and restaurants. Design of the common areas is really great. Staff very friendly and helpful. All my wishes were properly accommodated. I enjoyed that I could borrow an umbrella, that there is a 24/7 store and option to self-bake a toast or a pizza. My room is really nice, great design and a very comfy bed! Air conditioning works very well, it is spacious. Cleanliness in the room could be improved. Breakfast very nice! Small range of products but the quality is really nice and you won't ever leave hungry :). I definitely recommend this place!

Excellent hotel. Staff excellent. Everyone always had a smile. Beds very comfortable. Great facilities. Loved how they replace water in room every night. Booked Superior Room. Some friends had executive room. Room 190 is a fab room. Breakfast was excellent. Quality of food was excellent. Loved the granola. Great location. All I can say is dont think about it. Book it.

Great hotel! Spacious and clean. Comfiest beds. TV in the room with English channels on. Breakfast was yummy and lots of options to choose from. Staff lovely and friendly. I liked the idea of the self check in and check out. The hotel has storage facilities in case you have a late flight and still want to explore the city. The shop in the hotel is a great ideas as well and there is also a water refill station. Only downside is the lift is quite slow in terms of coming back up and down, we were bitten by mosquitoes cause we opened the window (so I don’t recommend doing that) and the shower space was a bit tight wouldve preferred a room with just a shower and minus the bath. However it’s a great hotel and worth the stay in Amsterdam. Central location and close to the metro lines and there is a bike shop next door to rent bikes from. And only down the road from the ice bar too!

Great location. Walking distance to everything in central Amsterdam. The room we got wasn’t so clean though. There was even a forgotten beer can by the window from the previous guests. Hygiene wise, the shower could use a scrub. The housekeeping was hit a miss. They would change our towels mostly. But didn’t bother with much else. Breakfast was ok but book it in advance otherwise it’s 25 euros per person on the spot.

This hotel doesn’t worth 4 stars! Don’t take the river view room because the noice from the street and poor view of the river! Besides that the price is relatively high when compared to other 4-star nearby hotels! The room is not clean at all especially the bathroom and the worst thing ever is that the room is not soundproofed! I can hear the noice from other guests and outsides! Overall, will not come back again and would not recommend if you are looking for a 4-star hotel with fairly price and service!

Nice hotel with a few minor flaws. Pros: great hotel staff, good location, comfy beds, clean, nice little bar in the lobby, early check in when we arrived in the morning & late check out. Cons: a little noise from other rooms, bathroom set up is a bit odd (especially for twin rooms - no fully closing door for privacy), water kept going hot to cold in the shower.

Excellent location in every way. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Rooms are clean and a bit small but that is typical throughout Europe. Very busy and popular place so book early! Would definitely stay there again.

The Eden Hotel is a very stylish and gorgeous hotel with beautiful decor and a great location. Highly for just about anyone for any occasion. The rooms and wall decor throughout the hotel is lavish and designed well. The breakfast and bar are nice and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Being centrally located there are two entries to the streets on either side of the city block which we found nice for getting around, not having to walk in the street the extra block is nice for safety and winter weather. (That being said, we felt safe at the hotel and in the general area). There is a small convenience store, a self bake pizza station as well as a panini press station and a pool table that is free. There is a show polish machine near the room as well as an ice machine. I would recommend this hotel to anyone although it is a bit more adult/couple oriented than kid oriented though I wouldn't say it is not kid friendly. Overall I would say that it is 4.7 out of 5 stars as everything is almost perfect for service, cleanliness and value, the hotel is pretty special and has a great location.

The best hotel for location! Really pretty inside and loved they had a Starbucks in the hotel and convenience shop! Only thing I would say is our room was pretty dark being on the 1st floor and would have loved a mini fridge in the room. But I would definitely come here again! The location makes the hotel perfect for a stay in Amsterdam! Also loved that you had to scan your key to get into the hotel late at night made it feel extremely safe!

Absolutely a fantastic hotel. Very central for everything that we wanted to see. I loved the mini shop inside with a Starbucks automatic coffee machine. Very useful for independent travel who wants comfort and convenient location. I like the pool table and the games left around for the guest to play with it. We had an upgrade for our room and was absolutely fantastic with the canal view. I can’t recommend enough.

Stayed here last minute. It was clean, superrrr easy check-in/ check-out, held our luggage, great value for the price. Most importantly for us, they had an elevator which was great because a few places in Amsterdam have extremely narrow stairs.

We had an excellent stay in Amsterdam! Great location! A few minutes walk from Rembrandt Square. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The only con is that we asked for a Amstel view room but instead we got a view for another building. I would recommend to anyone.

busy hotel nice staff you can do self check in and get everything yourself with a station they have there. I'd say breakfast is a bit overpriced and I didn't take it The location was nice I thought it would be noisy but not at all however the windows and the doors of this place need improvement as there is so much air going through them. even when I shut the lights off the corridor lights were peaking through my door for a moment I thought I left it open nice bathroom with tubs clean and nice shower gel and shampoo

The location was great! 5min walk from so many things. The staff was very professional and welcoming. The hotel got a Bar and pool table and many more. There are two exits and one of them is a 2 min walk from Rembrandt square which is full of bars, coffee shops, Starbucks, and a supermarket. The room was comfy, they offered a pillow menu and we also got an upgrate just cause we asked for which was amazing! Highly recommended. Thank you for that!

We stayed here for 3 nights in November (2022) and were very happy. It's in a great location just a short want to Rembrandt Square. The room was spacious and comfortable with many amenities right in the room and throughout the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, and the staff was also very welcoming. Would stay here again!

Brilliant location and unique hotel - close by tram, bang in the centre of Amsterdam (city tax paid on arrival) with great features such as self check in, pizza & toasty station, self checkout mini shop, lovely bar / reception area, good security & loved the burlesque / garden theme - modern hotel with both canal front and city by tram exits! We loved our short stay here

We loved our stay here! Great self check in system (with staff around to help if needed) clean hotel, we liked our room, great location within walking distance of the central, loads of places to eat & shops nearby. Really nice breakfast, friendly/helpful staff, can’t fault it! we look forward to coming back.

Dominique at the front desk completely changed our experience at the hotel for the better. We booked a standard room, and while the room technically adhered to the stated specifications listed online, there were certain aspects that we weren’t completely satisfied with upon our arrival. Dominique was very kind and understanding and she went above and beyond to correct the situation. Our first stay in the Netherlands has been greatly improved thanks to the amazing hotel staff who exceeded our expectations in making sure we were comfortable during our stay. Thank you so much.

We had to be very careful because the room we were given had a 3 inch step up to enter the room and an additional 3 inch step up to enter the bathroom. If you get up, half asleep, in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, you might stumble and fall onto the bathtub and hurt yourself. As to location, this is probably the best location in the City and they had excellent customer care.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. I stayed for 8 days. Quick checkin and checkout. On-site little store that’s open 24/7. The bartenders make the best cocktails and they are reasonably priced. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean. The maid staff was very sweet. The hotel is walking distance from everything. The only time I took a taxi was to the airport. I’d definitely stay here again. The Ice Bar is right next to it, Club Escape, over 9 different restaurants that all stay open late and there’s 2-3 coffee shops not even a minute away. Very safe no matter the time of night. The hotel is secure at night and you just use your key to get in. Coming from America I’m so obsessed with this hotel and its beauty. I’ll be staying here again next year.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. The room we originally booked wasn’t well suited for us the staff upgraded us to a beautiful room which we were ecstatic over. The breakfast buffet had various options and everything tastes fresh. The location is perfect you’re a walking distance to the centre but also have the quiet areas very close by if you want to just explore the quiet parts of Amsterdam. Thank you for taking care of us so well!

The rooms, the lobby, and the service in general are all amazing. The rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable, the windows are large (and open!). The lobby has so many different things in it, from a little mini mart to a food table. All the staff are friendly and helpful with requests. My only issue with their systems. We'd booked the hotel through Eurostar when we bought the train tickets. However in their system when we arrived, they were telling us we hadn't paid for the room. We had to get a supervisor involved who knew about it and said everything was okay. But that was stressful arriving and being told we hadn't paid for our room (not just the €6 travel tax). Also got locked out of my room once before checkout. Apparently the system doesn't do well with the time change, so when it was 11AM it thought it was 12PM and locked me out of the room.

Lovely hotel, unfortunately the room we were given originally had mould around the window and skirting. Credit to the Hotel, they came straight away to check and asked us to give them 1 hour for a new room to move us too, we went for dinner to allow them the time. They kept their word and gave us a nicer room, which was perfect and couldn't have been more helpful. Location is perfect and away from the hustle but 5-10 minute walk from the main areas around the square. Great coffee shops within 5 minutes if you like that type of thing. Would stay there again

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights over the weekend. The hotel is located in an excellent location very close to Rembrandt Square and the entertainment areas, there is a pleasant restaurant called BLIN QUEEN right next to the hotel and it is perfect for breakfast (unfortunately we did not try the breakfast at the hotel). There is a self-service mini market in the hotel lobby which was really convenient for us The rooms are very spacious, new and really nicely designed, a comfortable shower with high quality toiletries, a perfect huge bed with luxurious bedding. Just make sure you take the new rooms and not the rooms in the old wing. The rooms are very quiet and you don't hear any noise from the outside and in general there is a very comfortable and safe feeling in the hotel. And above all the lovely staff at the hotel who did everything to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. Thank you very much - we had a lot of fun!!!

A nice hotel overall with good amenities and food/bar. Location is good in a very touristic area so great when you’re visiting for leisure. The rooms are nice and clear they style itself is maybe not suitable for everyone. The price is pretty good for what you get

We had a corner room with a canal view, very nice except the TV was old and cranky and there were no hooks or shelves in the bathroom. The service was superb, polite and friendly and breakfasts were excellent. In terms of location, the front of this large hotel is on Amstel, while the rear entrance is a 1 minute walk to Rembrandt Square.

Wonderful location. Quick and efficient check in. The room on the ground floor has dusty smell from the carpet. The big window is facing a wall and another building and neighbors balcony few meters. Not a nice feeling. The room size is comfy.

Overall very pleased with this hotel. It’s in a great location, close to everything. The staff was very welcoming and upgraded our room for free. They also decorated it with balloons and roses for our anniversary which was a very nice surprise. The rooms are on the smaller side but we spent most of our time out exploring so it was not an issue.

We spent 4 days at the hotel. The reception is very beautiful, but I found several negatives that I did not expect based on the reviews I had read and the photos I had seen. Firstly the room was not as clean as it should be, the bathroom door was quite dirty every day, the siphon of the bathtub was clogged and did not draw water, the room had nothing to do with the photos, and I think it was not worth the money as he had no view, the television was usually on pause. However, it had a good location in the center and next to the metro. Anyway, the receptionists was very helpful!

Me and my friend went to Amsterdam on vacation. This hotel was very sentral, nice view from room. We upgraded, which was def. worth it. I would go back to this hotel. Nice staff, good breakfast, fixed problems fast and helped a lot. If you book this hotel I think you wont be disappointed. Also price was nice. Looked kinda anonymous from the outside thow, but was really nice inside.

At first we got a small room that didn't pleased us but literally 5 minutes after we spoke with the reception they took care of us and make our stay even better with free drink at the hotel bar (;

We finally made it to Amsterdam, having booked our break two years ago! From the time we arrived to our departure, the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly and the environment was attractively furnished and spotlessly clean. We liked the fact that we could walk everywhere - although the bicycles took some avoiding. We enjoyed a range of visits and an excellent Canal boat trip during our three-night stay. Fortunately, we left the city before new Covid restrictions were imposed.

Very good location, easy access thanks to the Tram nearby. Many restaurants and bars in the area. We had a room overlooking the courtyard so there was no noise. The staff was attentive and smiling. Very good breakfast, possible until 11 am

Great location for the hotel, near the opera House. There is a shop, bar and pool table on site. The room was ok, I didn't like the glass door to the bathroom as you can hear everything when trying to sleep! The cleaning said to leave the towels hanging if you don't want them changed, which we did but they were changed anyway. That reason I give them 3 stars instead of 4.

  • 4/5 Alexander 1 year ago on Google
Large, clean room. Many convenient amenities in the lobby including bake your own pizza and self service beverage coolers. Very friendly staff. Only complaint is our room’s window was 1’ from a brick wall in an enclosed courtyard so we had no ventilation or natural light.

Nothing less than 5 stars. The service was awesome! Special thanks to Dali who made us feel we're the hotel's only guests. The rooms are great, clean and maintained. The prices are more than reasonable. Location is good. Very short walk to anything you need and city center.

Everything was great! The hotel staff was super nice , the rooms were cleaned every day, the bed was super comfortable and you get a pillow menu to choose from. The breakfast buffet was delicious with many different options and great fresh orange juice The location is also really good and quiet. Honestly loved it and will be staying with them once we go back to Amsterdam

We really enjoyed to stay in this hotel .Very nice location just between Museums area and the center. The staff is very professional and helpful, specially for the taxi. The breakfast is really good . Thank you to the cook for our boiled eggs ! We also enjoyed the snooker and Connect 4 in wood :) Very nice hotel.

In addition to the very good and loving furnishings in burlesque style, this hotel shines because of the extremely polite and helpful staff. The location is great, right near the flower market and within walking distance to all the sights. My #1 choice for a city trip to Amsterdam.

Centrally located near Rembrandt Square, which has several decent bars and restaurants. Close to metro. Hotel is very pleasant, rooms tastefully decorated in dark muted colours. Bed huge and extremely comfortable. Breakfast is really varied with fresh products. Yummy yoghurt, fresh fruit and an abundance of delicious fresh juices. Excellent bread and continental food items. Croissants are crumbly and buttery, 😋. Coffee is from machines, varied types of coffee on offer. Bar is decent with great range of drinks. Service at reception is also good with helpful, informative smiling staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommended.

Great location, very friendly staff and cool interior design. Very good breakfast with a great choice of local products! Our room was a little bit small and the glass door of the bathroom was a bit of a strange experience. But we will definitely be back, just go for a bigger room size.

  • 5/5 Dandan L. 1 year ago on Google
The staff was very nice and helpful. There was a small issue with the booking due to Agoda’s mistake that they booked twin room instead of a double bed room which was what we booked. When we told the staff this issue, he was very helpful and managed to switch us to a much better room for free. On top of the nice staff, the location of the hotel is great, breakfast buffet was amazing. Highly recommended!

  • 4/5 Eileen E. 1 year ago on Google
We liked the location of the hotel. It was also more spacious than I thought it would be. I felt like our bathroom could have been a little cleaner for it being a 4-star hotel. I would recommend to others.

  • 4/5 Gabi S. 1 year ago on Google
Our room was upgraded which was a fantastic surprise. Plenty of options for breakfast and a handy yet expensive small shop for essentials. Perfect location, very central. Only down sides was that our cups were not washed and the nespresso pods not replaced. Also, no fridge in the room and the ice dispenser in the corridor was out of service.

  • 5/5 Linda C. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is clean and modern with very good amenities. Our room was comfortable and perfectly adequate for our stay. The mini mart inside the hotel carries a small range of toiletries and foodstuff. The hotel is situated only a 2 or 3 minute walk to Rembrandt Square with it's cafes and excellent public transport. Would not hesitate to stay again.

The hotel is gorgeous as you walk in and the staff are extremely helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location and you can walk everywhere you need to go. On arrival, we were given a room that was perfect however the walls were so thin we could hear word to word of next doors conversations and later on in the day, the man next door was throwing up and burping for over 2 hours and we heard it all. We were tired due to having an early morning flight and asked if we could have our room changed to which the staff were very helpful and moved us. The new room we were put in had dust everywhere, the bathroom stunk of sewage constantly and there were dirty tissues shoved down the side of the bed along side hairs on the pillows which made us feel as though the room hadn’t been cleaned.
