The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Amsterdam and a stone’s throw from the main train station. There is no car access to the hotel so if you’re coming by rental car or taxi you have a challenge. We were dropped off around the corner and had to walk five minutes when we were picked up by a taxi. The staff is friendly, especially the concierge. The receptionists are all friendly towards guests but they have a less friendly jargon with each other. They all seemed insufficiently trained because both check-in and check-out took significantly longer than at other hotels. The rooms are quiet, small and have everything you need (but bring your own slippers). Cleaning was okay, but not perfect. The desk was not clean at all with sticky stains all over. The air condition and lighting kept turning off after a certain time period (short, maybe 20 minutes). The breakfast is good. The lunch buffet was rather spartan with a soup and then English sandwiches with cheap ham or salmon. The big bar by the reception is very nice with many cocktails that were perfectly made. Apart from the location there is nothing that would compel us to come back though. We would rather try something different next time.

Location cannot be beat, close to the main train station and everything else in Amsterdam. Modern rooms with very comfortable beds and it was very quiet in the rooms at night. Would highly recommend with hotel and it will be my preferred choice upon return to the Netherlands.

Great, central location. Lovely building and friendly staff. The room was clean and functional. Lovely shower but the glass bathroom door might be a challenge for some couples! The spa pool is very pleasant and relaxing and the sauna is huge. Gym is nice and well equipped, you can do a varied work out in there. Disliked a few things; The netting across all windows, I understand it's necessary but it does hinder the view of the canals and fabulous building of Centraal station and you pay extra for that view! The spa/gym is in another building so it was a trek getting to and from, requiring 2 lift journeys each way and the lifts are slow so it took a while. And no gowns/slippers available The scent they used in the lobby I found to be overpowering and artificial so I had to get through to the lift or outside very fast, maybe that's the point of it! Could hear the other hotel room doors closing very clearly from our room and we were at the end of a corridor, late night/early morning was fairly disruptive with door noise in the hallway None of these ruined our stay, we would stay again for the location convenience and room cleanliness

My room was nice and modern but faced the street and was very loud so I had to keep the windows closed. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, with many hairs on the floor. The toilet seat had clearly not been cleaned as well. The room service menu is very small. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very friendly. All in all, this hotel was fine but I was put off by the lack of cleanliness and I will not rush back.

I went on July 2021 with my family. And we were very happy. The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean, the personal is the top! They help you always with a big smile. Great staff! Our little daughter had a little incident inside the hotel and they solve quickly and were super kind with her that she still remembers. We booked a place for the pool and was entirely for us and it’s clean. Breakfast top! If you have kids then it’s the ideal place to stay! Thanks to all the staff for the good stay!

I stayed 5 nights while attending ADE. Every member of staff I encountered from front desk to the cleaners were all extremely friendly and helpful. The room was perfect, large comfortable bed, modern and cleaned daily. I had breakfast included in my stay which normally when I’m away I’m happy to miss out on but after having it the first morning I made sure I got there on time each morning 👌🏽. I also managed to use the well equipped gym and spa daily which was just perfect. Overall an excellent stay and will most definitely be booking way in advance for next year.

The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good and they had many choices. The hallway smells too much perfume and that was not nice, u can easily get a headache because of that. The location is perfect! Near the train station. The workers were kind and nice but we forgot a couple of things in the room and they haven't seen them so I think some workers stole those and it's not nice.

For someone who’s visiting Amsterdam for the first time; the location is amazing. Literally across the street from Central station, a very short walk to the Red Light district and other sightseeing spots, and with access to both the trams, metro and buses. The rooms were nice, breakfast buffet was good and the staff was always very friendly, they even helped us check in early. Their bar is nice albeit a little overpriced. Overall a very nice experience and will probably stay there again.

Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is an outstanding hotel that sets the stage for a truly memorable stay in this dynamic city. My experience was nothing short of excellent, and I confidently rate it a solid five stars. The hotel's central location is a prime asset. Situated right across from Amsterdam Central Station, it provides exceptional accessibility to various modes of transportation, making it an ideal starting point for exploring the city's attractions. Additionally, it's within walking distance of many iconic landmarks. The rooms at Park Plaza Victoria are spacious, elegantly designed, and offer a high level of comfort. The plush bedding ensures a restful night's sleep, and the city or courtyard views from the windows are a delightful bonus. The hotel's dining options are impressive. The Carstens Brasserie, in particular, offers a superb dining experience with a focus on Dutch cuisine. The breakfast buffet is extensive and caters to various preferences. The service at Park Plaza Victoria is impeccable. The staff is welcoming, professional, and always ready to assist. Their knowledge of the local area and willingness to provide recommendations enhances the overall guest experience. While this level of quality and service does come with a higher price tag, the value delivered by Park Plaza Victoria is well worth it. In conclusion, Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam is a top-tier hotel that provides an exceptional base for both business and leisure travelers. Its prime location, comfortable accommodations, outstanding dining, and exceptional service make it a superb choice for an unforgettable stay in Amsterdam.

Amazing hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Can be easily reached by public transport since it is directly across the central station. No noise disruptions even though it is so central. The staff was very kind and worked efficiently. We also used the room service for dinner. The food was great. Will stay there again.

On nye we decided to stay there for a night. The first few is amazing you get a bathrobe and slippers, there are automatic curtains and everything feels very fancy. However for me thats not worth the price. first off there was a broken scale and i almost had a heartattack cause the scale was broken. i didnt notice it and im happy my boyfriend did cause my first reaction is: i have to start a diet (the scale was +6 KG! But the problem starts for me at the fact that i forgot my scarf in de hotel. The hotel knows my boyfriends since he works there, they know he lives in the Netherlands and so do i. The same day i lost it i told him and he would ask the security. Within one day they threw it away. It was a limited edition scarf that never will be manufactured again. I never went to a hotel, let alone a 5 star hotel, That didn't or tried to contact me or kept it for one day extra. It almost feels like they liked the scarf and just took it themselves! it just feels so unreal! I had places contact me if i forgot something and i understand if they wouldnt if its a dirty sock but it was a cool scarf. Im sad because i will never have it again but im happy its not a designer item because it probably would have had the same faith. Also this scarf had sentimental worth thats why the hotelroom was not worth it anymore. Oh well, you learn and you lose. What i said if you go for automatic curtains its fine but the aftermath for me was a disappointment.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. The hotel is situated in an incredibly convenient location, just a few minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station. This central location meant that we were within close reach of all the major tourist attractions, shopping streets, and dining options. It was incredibly convenient to just walk out of the hotel and find ourselves in the heart of the city. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a warm and welcoming staff who made the check-in process a breeze. Their professionalism and attention to detail were truly commendable. It set the tone for the rest of our stay and it did not disappoint. The rooms were modern, clean, and felt almost like they were newly built. Everything from the bedding to the bathroom amenities was top-notch, making our stay extremely comfortable. Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast. With a variety of options to choose from, it was a delight for the palate. The staff at the breakfast buffet were particularly attentive, constantly refilling empty dishes and ensuring a smooth experience for all guests. If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam, I cannot recommend Park Plaza Victoria enough. The location, staff, rooms, and amenities are all outstanding.

Stayed here during ADE, an excellent venue with excellent facilities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the required home comforts, from the brilliantly appointed bathroom to the Nespresso machine. Breakfast delivers a fabulous spread with nothing being too much trouble for the courteous staff. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough, I’ll definitely be back

We stay for one night at the end of October and had a really lovely stay. The room was snug but comfy with a great bathroom (and Elemis toiletries!). The hotel is literally across the road from Amsterdam Central Station. It is in a perfect location. We weren’t able to check in early and we were able to check out late (€15 per hour) which we thought was really reasonable. We highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful hotel! Stayed here for 5 days with my partner ❤️ We went for the superior room with King bed. The only bad thing was the pillows that where quite flat. Other than that the stay was great. Great value for money. Breakfast was lovely! The hotel also has a pool and sauna which was also great! Would definitely recommend!

Had a fantastic stay with Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. Strategically located near the train station and close to all tourist attractions in Amsterdam. Experienced top-notch service, impeccable cleanliness, and unparalleled comfort. While it leans towards the pricier side, every penny is well worth the investment. This accommodation provides a relaxing haven, perfect for recharging after a day of exploration in the vibrant city of Amsterdam.

In one word, its was excellent. We sadly missed our train due to connections and needed to have a place to stay for the night. We were welcomed by Dennis and Daniel and they helped us perfectly. They also arranged for us that our hotel that was booked in another city was able to change our reservation. Very kind people with excellent service. They truly relieved our stress and made us feel like we were taken care of. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect location and this is all what deserves 5 stars! Paying an extremely expensive room and you don’t even have the breakfast included? The room is okay but nothing crazy and I cant say is the cleanest ever. Regarding staff, you say hi and they don’t even look you in the eye.. Overall an average experience.

I've had the chance to stay in Amsterdam for a holiday almost a year ago and this was one of the very best hotels I've stayed at. The location is in a great, positioned right in the centre of the city. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean without a spot. Most rooms have amazing views of the city. The service is top notch, one of the best I've seen in many different hotels. Overrall, I'd recommend staying here, perfect hotel if you want a high quality stay for a few nights.

I highly recommend this hotel for an exceptional stay in Europe.

We recently stayed at the Park Plaza Victoria Amsterdam. The hotel is very lovely and the staff are very responsive to your needs. There had been a slight problem with the original room which was quickly resolved by Mr. Hawelah. He ensured that we were given a new room that met our needs. The location is close to the train station and public transit as well as many amenities in walking distance. We found there was no need to rent a car during our stay.

We stayed here and spent nearly $450 US per night. It was a busy week in Amsterdam and hotels were all very expensive. Checked in and were told we could forgo housekeeping service during our stay in exchange for a bottle of wine which was odd. Unfortunately we got to the room and the sheets were dirty. We told the staff around 3pm about the sheets and went about our day to explore the city and give staff time to change the sheets. When we got back around 9pm we got to the room and the sheets still had not been changed out. At this point the management worked diligently to get it fixed, but still… $450 per night? Shouldn’t have to deal with this.. and should have housekeeping during the whole stay. Location was perfect, hotel bar was nice, and staff was nice. I would stay here again but would need to be a lower rate than what we paid.

I have visited Amsterdam and the hotel because of Europe league football game, Brighton and Hove Albion (UK) vs Ajax⚽️ So, about the hotel, absolutely outstanding hotel, very clean, perfect location, exactly in town centre, very nice and quiet even in the middle of Amsterdam! I was so impressed from the very warm welcome straight from the entrance, person called Kostas (Staff) did our check in, explained everything to us about the Hotel and Car parking. Very kind and professional service, everyone in the hotel from the staff asked me if I’m ok, if I need help and much more. What really also made me feel so comfortable in the hotel was the security and that the hotel is really Plaza. Very highly recommend this Hotel. Thanks to all staff for my amazing stay! Will visit you again 100%!

So we stayed here for 3 days at the start of November. What a great hotel location wise as you come out of the train station and basically go across the first bridge and you are there. Check in was smooth and efficient and we managed to get our room 1 hour early which was a blessing as we then had 10 mins to freshen up before exploring our first day in Amsterdam. Over the course of the 3 days we loved staying in our Superior King Room ( bed was amazing) with everything being clean and to the standard expected. One of the evenings we used the gym / fitness suite and my wife then went for a swim in the lovely swimming pool. All making the stay more enjoyable and relaxing. Breakfast was amazing with a massive choice across the board and I was even delighted that they had HP sauce as well for the cooked breakfast. Really can't fault this hotel in anyway and if I was going back I would stay there again.. Thanks again to all the staff and employees at PPVA for making our 20 year anniversary a pleasant stay.

This is probably the most modern hotel you can stay in this area. I wanted to give it 5 stars but I had to change room twice(my first in forever asking to change room) due to one room having water leaking out from under the bathroom wall and drenching a side of a bed. But in all fairness, they did try to accommodate as best as their can. I would probably stay here again, just because of the location and the relative modernness of the hotel. If they ca get a good maintenance manager, it would be a real gem

The location is great, near plenty of public transit routes, lots of food, and many landmarks. The staff have been helpful and nice. The room is sub-par though. The bed is two smaller beds pushed together, so there is a gap in the middle that will widen if you lay in the center of the bed. We can hear anything going on in the hallway.

Lovely hotel, right opposite the station. Good transport links to get around Amsterdam. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I had an issue with my room and the hotel staff were very attentive and kindly upgraded my room. A big thank you to manager Sarah for looking after us.

We stayed here from December 18-22 and had an amazing time. Our room was perfect. The hotel staff could not be more helpful or friendlier. They gave us great recommendations throughout our stay. The hotel is very convenient to everything and especially the train station. We plan to stay here again.

Hotel downgraded my room at check in but charged me for the larger room on checkout. At checkout hotel insisted price was the same for both rooms which does not match what website prices say. Otherwise hotel is in a good location

Honestly very disorganised hotel. Arrived and they said my company had not paid for the room when they already had. They charged me twice as a deposit instead of once. Then the room which should have had two twin beds had one. They came to split them into two. Then the air conditioning didn’t work so a repair man had to come fix it because it was just heat. There was no air in the room. Omelette at breakfast was also greasy and tasteless. Too much hassle for a 4 star hotel. Check the rooms and payment before letting guests into the rooms.

Very nice hotel with a good location! Things I liked: - Service - Clean room - Good aircon - Breakfast Remember to take your own swimwear if you use the hotel sauna. There is no separate saunas for men and women.

I can't fault this hotel. Staff were always ready to be very helpful. The location, close to the train station, at the top of Damrak, is perfect! A minor misunderstanding meant that we were allocated a room without a view. This was because of Easyjet's poor description of the room upgrade options - it was not the hotel's fault. But they switched our room and refused my offer of any extra payment. Room 425 has a great view over Damrak. The fishing net draped over the building spoils the view a bit, but I guess it keeps the pigeons away! The modern room and bathroom were perfect. Super comfortable, huge bed, great air conditioning, big TV. There were controllers on either side of the bed, and at the door, which allowed lighting and air con to be adjusted, and controlled the opening and closing of the curtains. Luxury!

The view from the room facing the beautiful central station was Amazing! Excellent and very filling breakfast. Staff very kind and willing to help us in all our needs. King size bed very comfortable, excellent cleaning .We will certainly stay again in this hotel, which also has a gym and spa!

Very nice hotel. Good location. Only problem we had was a cleaner stole our money from our suitcase. And hotel have done nothing. So make sure you lock your money in safe. Staff obviously don't get paid enough.

Wonderful hotel! The location is perfect, right in the heart of Amsterdam. Modern design, great spa/sauna, its safe and has friendly staff. Absolutely worth it to stay. BUT: the room service (cleaning) is awful. Left trash behind and „cleaned“ literally nothing. The only thing they did was making the bed. I could have done that on my own.

This place was right by everything to include the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My husband and I enjoyed the pool and sauna. We purchased the option that included breakfast and the food was amazing. We also went to the bar one night and had a great time and the drinks were not watered down. This place will not disappoint.

Great three-night stay at the Victoria. Our first accommodations fell through (long story) and we were able to book a same-day room with a rollaway bed for our son and a great view of the harbor at a reasonable price. The room was very clean and comfortable, the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, and the location was a perfect jumping-off point for all the sights we wanted to see.

Great location. Easy access to metro as well as the trains and busses. Easy access to many canal cruises as well as many restaurants. There is a bike rental very close by. Hotel concierge is very helpful. Has a pool and a sauna. USA style plug adapter is required if you need to plug in your computer or phone but those can be purchased next door.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Amsterdam. Perfectly located for all the main attractions and public transport access. Rooms would have been 5 star except that we were kn the newer half and the front wall is essentially prefab so any door closed in the corridor was felt and heard. A minor irritation that would not dissuade me from returning in the slightest!

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean and well appointed. I really liked the proximity to Central Station. After a long flight it was nice to have a short train ride to the station and then walk the short distance to the hotel.

We have just returned from 2 nights stay here at this hotel. All staff friendly and welcoming, breakfast excellent with a great variety. Our room was spacious with a great view of central station and canal. We were on 4th floor with no issue of noise from trams had a great nights sleep, comfortable bed with a great walk in shower. The bar was great including bar staff. Definitely recommend this hotel, when we come back to Amsterdam we shall come to stay here again.

If I could give more stars I would. From the beginning to the end, the staff were exceptional. They always greeted with smile and had amazing sense of humour. There’s a reason why Amsterdam known for its hospitality among its citizens, as in its coded in their DNA. The room was clean, the concierge was always available. I had fun conversations with pretty much everyone who was working there. The breakfast was also amazing. Pro tip, ask for omelettes when you check in. I found that out on my second day. They make it super delicious. They also have an amazing deal selection with the local tour guide. Just ask the concierge. I also want to say that Luuk, the intern who was working at the front desk, was amazing. He better become a manager by the time I visit next year. “The force is strong with this one.” The only suggestion I’d make, is to have hand pump soap in the room washrooms. Personally when I travel I don’t like soap bars, so that is the only thing I’d add for criticism. I’m pretty sure others will feel similarly as well.
