We had made a booking almost 2 months ago. But when we arrived at the hotel, a staff said “I couldn’t find your booking, sorry.”. We were really tired and disappointed. The staff could not find our booking, because he did not check my husband’s second name. After that another recepcionist (Iranian lady) found our booking. I owe her a debt of gratitude. We stayed 4 nights in this hotel. Our room was clean, but somebody had set the air conditioner for 5 centigrade degrees. Because of this we got cold and our room did not warm for hours. When we come back our room the next evening we saw that the housekeeper left the window open. So we got cold again! There is not a carpet in the room and walking without shoes is a totally torture. The breakfast was fine and the Iranian recepcionist lady was so kind and helpful.

While I had initially expected this hotel to be rated as a 4-star property, my experience revealed that it may be more accurately classified as a 2-3 star establishment. The room's comfort level was not up to par, as the bathroom appeared worn and not as clean as anticipated. Additionally, there were limited facilities, and the availability of soap was insufficient. The room itself was rather cramped, designed for two individuals with single beds, giving it a hostel-like atmosphere. Furthermore, considering the price of $200 per night, the lack of basic amenities was disappointing. There was no small fridge, cups, water, or kettle, which are typically found in hotels. This absence of such conveniences made the overall experience even less enjoyable and not worth the premium price. Consequently, it may be better suited for short stays rather than extended ones, as storage and organization space were lacking. Overall, I would rate the comfort of the stay as 5 out of 10. While it may suffice for a brief overnight stay, guests looking for more space, amenities, and value for their money might need to consider other options."

Housekeeping should improve on their quality of work. There was hair in the toilet (even before I checked in) and on the bed. Staff don't even bother to pick up/arrange toppled over toiletry bottles in the bathroom. My colleague put up privacy sign but housekeeper still entered the room. I put up 'enter my world' sign but room was not cleaned when I returned to hotel at 3:30pm. Reception has a 'couldn't care less' attitude. There were no other guests when we checked in at around 7:15am, but they just pointed us to the luggage room for us to figure out the protocol. Bed has a creaking sound, IBIS in other parts of the world are known to have great beds, definitely not this one. Also, there is a room category that does not come with kettle nor bottled water. 2 bottles of water cost less than 1euro. Even if they factor that 1euro into the room charge, no one is gonna feel the pain. However, lack of bottled water or kettle annoy guests immediately. This is probably the worst IBIS I have stayed and will not come back again. Those in Bangkok, Singapore and India are much better and cost much less. Hope they improve so that it's not a disservice to their counterparts who have been doing a great job in delighting customers.

Excellent location - about 15 minutes walk to the centre of Amsterdam. Extremely small rooms - as small as what you would expect on a cruise liner... the bathroom also reminds me of a RV bathroom - it's tiny and has poor ventilation. Bedding was extremely cheep and the aircon never worked. Staff were friendly.

This is a good and clean hotel. The room which I stayed in is just nice for 2 people. The bed was big, cosy and comfortable. During this COVID period, the hotel restaurant serves food which is to be taken away. If you want taxis, call for an Uber which will save you a lot of money. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Room was clean and quiet. Bed very comfortable and the staff was eager to please. I know the breakfast is 17 Euros, but worth it. Very good way to start the day at your hotel and get going without having to search for breakfast. Only problem we had a slight smell from the bathroom drain at times, but that was really no problem. Loved this place and will stay here again. If you take the tram or metro it's about a five minute walk.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Booked last minute due to flight cancellations, they kept out bags until check in and printed receipt to claim back. The room was nice with plenty of room, plugs and amenities, including multi plug with USB ports, coffee/tea making facilities. TV is small but does show English speaking channels if you want them. Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of hot and cold choices for everyone.

The Hotel is walking distance to the store. There was a Mediterranean restaurant close to the hotel. The employees are nice, the hotel is clean, and the housekeeping was good. Our room has a water view. The price was ok. The breakfast was ok and had a variety of choices. Overall the hotel wasn't bad.

Location is good, about a 10 min walk from central. Bed was really comfy and clean. There was unfortunately shards of glass on the floor when we arrived, but we informed reception and they sent a cleaner promptly. Would stay again.

Good location away from the main crowded areas that made it a bit quieter at night. Very small rooms with airplane-like bathroom but comfortable bed. Nice lobby.

To be honest I have not stayed there I am trying to find out how my son here in Temple Texas that has never left the country was billed on his credit card at 5:00 a.m. for $478 from your hotel? When I guess checks in are they not checked on their identity when they are using other people's debit or credit cards? My son is a single parent with two children at home and he cannot afford someone stealing $478 from him and his children at your hotel! And after I wrote you today and he contacted his bank he is still not heard anything nor has it been settled. Now I would have issues staying at a hotel that would allow practices like that myself?

Location is good for accessing train station and supermarket and walking to restaurants, if you have a bike the location is no issue at all. Room was spacious but the bathroom was awkward, towels were small and thin and the toilet often smelt. Beds were very comfortable. Could do with a fridge in the room. Overall for the price the hotel was adequate.

Great hotel close to Amsterdam center. Staff is really nice and rooms are super clean and silent. Be aware that you’ll need to pay city taxes upon arrival. Location is good, walkable and nice, close to everything but not in the real heart of the city center.

Excellent hotel - welcoming staff, nice rooms (we had a lovely view of the canal) and a very nice breakfast! The staff were very helpful when my daughter had left her Kindle in her room after checking out - so a big thank you for that.

We arrived from London where we stayed in a Mercure hotel and had not a very good experience and it was so nice to be welcomed as gold members and enjoyed the warm hospitality as well as a clean room with a comfortable bed (so different from our experience in London). The staff was courteous and helpful. We were surprised that on the day we left a lady was loudly complaining about the cost/quality of stay at this Ibis as for us it was by far superior both in quality and service that our experience in London. BTW this hotel as all Accor hotel followed up our stay with a review link something we never got from London as I suspect they know what kind of reviews they would get.

A little bit far from the center but the place was clean. The shower and toilet are made inside a plastic compartment similar to what you would see in a festival. Still it is somewhat clean. The room itself is small, but has working Airco and good enough wifi. Finally it has security guards and so I felt safe enough to sleep.

Definitely not the best option for a stay in Amsterdam, but it is among the most balanced in terms of cost vs benefit. It is a simple hotel, IBIS standard, very welcoming and with great services, located in one of the best places to stay in the large center, full of transport, food and leisure options, including on foot. I strongly recommend it if you are looking for facilities.

Great location and friendly staff. We wished there had been a kettle & tea/coffee station in the room, though. We ended up purchasing a kettle and mugs for our 3 day stay.

Great location, minutes walk from the train station! Sound was too bad either. Very friendly and welcoming staff and they also allowed us to check in early. We had a room for 3 which was a little cramped with an extra bed but it would have been fine with 2.

The hotel staff was very kind and accommodating. The hotel room was very clean and comfortable for a short stay. Location is good, small walk to the metro station. There are some restaurants nearby as well as inside the hotel.

Good location(400m from Metro). Clean rooms. Quiet. Good service, fast check-in/out. We did not take the breakfast as we found better choices with half price at 1km from there (personal preference). Daily attendance to our room. Clean towels, but not too big. Nice shower.

Service was great, very basic so don't expect all the luxuries if you book here. Breakfast was good, there is a good selection and it's not too far from everything.

Fair price in city center, clear and clean rooms. Breakfast is week but any way nice place to sleep and get rest in city center. Staff is smiling and helping in all conditions. Thank you

Standard Ibis hotel. Small, but delivery what is promised. Nice view for the Canal. Good service, very kind people in the reception. Also, good service room and the cleaning men was also a nice person.

The team was friendly, the room was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the price was amazing. A bit of a trek into the centre of Amsterdam but a really lovely hotel.

Thank you team for making my stay pleasant and easy. Easygoing - friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms with a canal view worth the price increase if you plan to stay for a number of days.

Despite quite good location and very nice staff, the hotel overall is not as good as expected. Room was dirty, there were some toys from prior guests, on the shelf there was a bread left. Other than that breakfast was way below average. I am not so convinced if I'd choose this hotel to stay again.

The good: great location. Not too close to downtown but also not too far away. The bad: the room description was “premium” but it didn’t even have a trash can. Also the bathroom unit is exactly that, a built-in unit out of plastic with no ventilation at all.

Nice cozy hotel. Clean, comfortable and well priced. The rooms over the canal were really pleasant and quiet.

Great location however the front desk staff needs training to be polite with their customers. I think they were rude and don't explain much if you ask questions as a tourist!! Breakfast and location was good if staff was polite I could have given 5 stars

Rooms are small but fine if you're only staying for a few days. No fridge in the room but there is safe, clothes hangers and an extra pillow in the room. The breakfast was fine: scrambled eggs, cocktail sausages, toast, fruit, salad and cereal available. Note you have to pay the City tax on arrival at the hotel

The distance to the station is relatively long hence the location is not great. That means the claustrophobic and dark rooms are not really worth the price with all the surrounding hotels available in the centre. Lack of equivalent light, no place to leave the luggage or even private stuff. Insufficient wardrobe. I am also not a fan of load air con/air circulation units introduced at the hotel. They do require maintenance as my allergy kicked off and I had to leave the window open rather than rely on mechanical air movement as they are also very noisy! Unfortunately, bathroom in the second room I booked was failing with ventilation.. Overwhelming awful smell coming from other rooms was simply unacceptable. Staff at the reception is friendly and helpful. Overall, a little bit disappointing when compared with other Ibis hotels I have been to in the past.

Nothing fancy, but clean small rooms. Strange check-in that took a while, but that might be temporary. Staff is polite and helpful. Breakfast is basic and maybe not worth buying unless included. Walking distance to town centre proper.

Great location in the centre. I wouldn't call the room luxurious but it was fine and with a very comfy bed, I always had a good night's sleep. The most negative thing was the breakfast. A spartan choice, especially of hot plate selection and of cereals. I was informed in blunt terms that nothing else was available. The worst offenders though were terrible powdered scrambled eggs and watered down orange juice. If these were fresh I'll eat my clogs! Ibis need to improve here. I won't book Ibis again.

It is a little bit far from the train station, walking is only an option if you have light luggage. Once you arrive to the hotel it's very close to downtown where you can find a lot of restaurants and night live. The rooms were proper kind of small. And the service always was excellent.

Exceptionally well located. Walking distance to the train station as well as to the city centre. Good restaurants nearby if you only want to pop out for a meal. Rooms are crisp and clean.

Great clean hotel at reasonable price for it’s location. Extremely friendly and helpful staff associates and 1 person stood out, Leon was great in all interactions and indeed went beyond expectations, will definitely stay there again upon my return to AMS

🇺🇸 : People at the front desk are friendly. The hotel cleaning practices not so great, in the span of six nights they never replaced the bed sheets, and the bathroom did not look to have been clean often either. There where people smoking in t next room. Hotel location was convenient.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
