The reception worker have attitudes (especially the guys). They can’t handled stress and get easily annoyed by questions. Mind you theres no other customers. I have also seen them treat customers poorly with annoying tones. Need improvement. However hotel worth the price. Good location. Fouzia is good in entertaining us during check ins. 3 stars only for her. I would consider lower star because of the two annoying guys.

Wouldn't stay again. Been lucky to travel far and wide and never stayed in such bad accommodation. Room smelt like something had died in there, blinds/walls were stained. No privacy within the room if sharing, bathroom door handle was barely hanging on. Television did not work, remote was broken. Student accommodation vibes however my student accommodation was better than this!

The hotel is in an interesting area, close to transport links and the center, and a 10-minute walk from the RAI if you're coming for a convention. The room is very small with bathroom just separated by a glass. Cleanliness was decent but not excellent. All services are subject to a fee, and you must fill in your card yourself. Wifi is free but unprotected, so avoid it. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for a business trip, it's a low-cost hotel aimed more at people who prefer to spend their budget on travel or activities.

I must say the bed and shower are amazing and the location is actually pretty great also. It was the best price for quality from all the other options, however I think that if the mattresses would have been generally cleaned this hotel can actually boom 💥. Thank you for a pleasant stay !

I will start this review by saying that I have stayed in different easy hotels before, and these are places I consider returning to, but this easy hotel has me rethinking ever staying in an easyhotel again. We made a reservation fully aware that this is an hotel cheaper than most, and we didn’t expect any luxuries (which there aren’t) but we did expect a comfortable enough place to spend the night, since we are the kind of travelers that spend most of the day out exploring the city. The “mattress” in the bed consists of a thin layer of foam on top of bed springs, which was absolutely uncomfortable. One of the pillows (which was more of a couch cushion) was super tall and very hard, we asked reception on two occasions if we could have it changed. First person said they didn’t have any extras (which made me wonder what they would do if a guest had some kind of accident and needed a new pillow) and the second person said all pillows were the same, which is not true since we had 2 different pillows in our room. Our room was literally two steps away from the elevator, which means we could hear everyone arriving and leaving at any time. The towels had an unpleasant smell, like they had been stored in an unventilated place for years, we asked for fresh ones, but they had the same smell. The only positive thing I can think of is the location, close to public transport and restaurants/shops, but for me, this is not enough to return a second time. We left tired (which absolutely impacted on our days exploring the city) and with a hurt back.

A lot of thanks to Martina who has welcomed us so nicely and helped us the best way possible, lucky hotel to have a such amazing person in the staff! The room was perfect for a night fast-fast and was in off clean for the standard of 2*hotels, without any insect or bedbug, recommended!

I stayed one night Slept very well in my quiet clean room. Perfect for a solo traveller as I was exploring the city and only needed a place to sleep. Staff were kind and helpful. I would definitely stay again

The room was disgusting. In the first room they put us in, there were mystery substances all over the surfaces and in the bed. In the next room there was black hair made into the clean fresh bed. Cleanliness was non-existent, you are better off staying at a nice hostel, it’s cleaner than this place.

This hotel has excellent connection to various transport links and made getting around the city so easy. We had the small double bedroom which was definitely small (similar to business hotels in Tokyo) but overall it was fine given the price and location! Martina took care of us wonderfully. Thank you!!

This hotel has a great location and is simply fabulous value for money. It is a two star hotel after all so managed expectations are needed, so don't expect a fridge in your room etc. The location is great, the Metro (underground train) is located within minutes. There is a superb market near by too. Great restaurants and a lovely park around the corner. Very clean. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were great too

Excellent location. Safe and priced just right. The hotel is away from the busy tourist areas but still very accessible and just a short walk to the Metro and the Albert Cuypstraat Market which really gave a local feel. Kelvin at the desk was very helpful and friendly. He totally made my stay easy and hassle free. 🌟 I truly enjoyed my stay.

I was nervous to book this hotel after reading the reviews online but our budget was tight so we went for it. I was pleasantly surprised at every turn. Rooms were clean and quiet, well equipped, bed was comfortable, staff were extremely accommodating and it was in the best possible location. I honestly think for the price and the location, it couldn’t have been any better. I will definitely stay at an Easy Hotel again. Thank you for a wonderful time!

It is at a convenient distance to the center. It is cheap only under certain circumstances. Beware. The rooms are uncomfortable, extremely small without a place to leave your clothes. No lavatory or a symbolic lavatory to be more precise. The shower and toilet are fully integrated within the room with weak separation with all that means. Clean would be way an over statement. The room is not daily cleaned a big problem if you stay more than 3 nights. If you don't travel alone this is a no go. Edited. I had to walk back my steps for an small remark. The price due to certain city event was more than 380 per night for two persons night plus city taxes. You judge yourselves.

I stayed here for two nights. The rooms were clean and tidy, location great and the staff here were incredibly kind. In particular, Kelvin, who on my last day, was very generous and kind to me when he didn’t have to be. Overall, happy to have stayed here

Great local spot! So close to everything you want to go to in Amsterdam. Tight room space but we knew this when booking. Overall good value. Thanks Martina for checking us in and thank you Kelvin for your help with check out. Good service!

The receptionists are all very nice, especially Martina who was super friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a good location, just across the metro station so it’s easy to reach the centre. You can see that it’s a 2 star hotel but the friendliness of the receptionists make up for it.

Good location close to Heinenken Experience. Rooms are cozy and the bed is comfy. The people from the staff are very nice and helpful. Near the reception is a coffee machine and around the corner is a supermarket. They have lockers so you can leave your luggage but it’s 5 euro. The room is small but this is typical for Amsterdam. They have only 2 towels in the room but if you ask they can give you more. I didn’t see anybody from housekeeping cleaning our room.

For a “no frills” hotel this was surprisingly perfect! The bed and pillows were SUPER comfortable, better than at some far more expensive hotels I’ve stayed in. A good powerful and hot shower too. 10/10 would stay in again. Staff were lovely too especially Fouzia and Daniel.

Fantastic location for exploring Amsterdam, clean and easy check in, the beds were unfortunately uncomfortable and the room is one of the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. For the price however it’s one of the best budget hotels in the area! Have booked to come back in 3 weeks!

  • 5/5 Pakde S. 9 months ago on Google
Honestly we had a great stay! We filled up a whole 6 person room so it was great we had lots of privacy and the rate was really good for how long we stayed! I would love to come again! They had hot water, they provided towels, shower gel and shampoo! Nothing to complain about! There’s several outlets by the beds so each get their own plug as well as their own 2 usb ports!

It’s a great budget hotel located in a nice neighborhood close to the trams and the metro, a short ride to many attractions and the city center. The hotel is a good deal for the price and is great for solo travelers or couples on a budget. There are great places to eat nearby as well.

Very easy to book and check in. A very nice location, off the main tourist track and surrounded by excellent cafes and bars. Very happy. Made 2 separate reservations, unfortunately in 2 separate rooms. Kelvin, at reception kindly sorted it all out and now I don’t have to move.

Cheap and convenient hotel for a couples stay! Right outside of the city, super close to the metro. Bike rentals were available that were so much fun to ride throughout the city. Super nice and helpful staff with everything. Pretty decent view! Would stay again

Spent the weekend there with my boyfriend and it was an amazing experience as its my first time in Europe. Special thank to Samuel. He was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family

We had an issue with a TV but shout out to Samuel. He was extremely helpful and kind. He accommodated us quickly. Made sure we had a good stay. An amazing guy!

Hi everyone, I do not recommend this place. It’s the worst experience I had in my life. Rooms are not clean and uncomfortable. You should run away places like this. Kind regards, Antoine

The pros of this hotel are that it's pretty cheap, close to bars and shops and the metro stop which is a quick trip to central station. Room was clean and not too noisy. It's very basic though, no kettle, no shaver plug socket or storage. Housekeeping is extra but I feel like if you're staying more than five days they should clean your room at least once free of charge.

The Booking review was exaggerated. The room does not have a table and has no space for even a small table. And has a single chair. There was no room service. I had made the reservations weeks ahead of time for a two bed room for three nights and paid for it. In the invoice the clerk printed out the price for the room was increased for each additional day. The clerk responded that the price is variable and depends on demand. In brief, not recommended at all. The only positive thing I can say is that its location is good.

Fantastic location, really can't ask for a better one.... 20 mins walk from Amsterdam city centre, but still spots of hustle and bustle tucked between residential Areas, and almost opposite a metro, getting you to Centraal in less than 10 mins from hotel to city. So pleased with the location, only downfall of our stay was that being in a south facing corner room with very large windows they were literally burning hot to the touch, air con took a while to kick and still not too great, however it was managable. We asked the staff for a fan if possible, they didn't have one but offered another room key to leave the aircon running which massively helped. And they helped arrange a cab to get to our early morning flight. Thanks again to the staff. Only a few stops away by metro to the airport also.

Unreliable , rude , don’t book here. Booked the hotel months in advance. Arrived at the hotel and was told it had been cancelled, no responsibility was taken by the hotel even though they were clearly at fault. I understand mistakes happen , but in this case no apology was made and the company were unable to take responsibility for there mistakes. Ruined our holiday.

The hotel is very clean, located in a convenient and accessible location and friendly service. Felt a bit pricey because the rooms are really tiny but has all the conveniences a traveller would require

  • 3/5 Gábor S. 1 year ago on Google
The location are good, easy to get with public transport in the centrum. Room's are bit small but for just sleep is ok. They should clean better the rooms and specially the bathroom. Reception are friendly and helpful.

The room smelled faintly of dirty pipes and was very badly sound isolated. You could clearly hear everything from the other rooms, one night we were kept awake by a party. Also slightly dirty room. But the staff was nice and bike rental was nice. Would not book again

Great location! Everything is close by train. It gives private hostel vibes. So if you’re looking for an affordable & comfortable stay, go with EasyHotel. Small rooms & small beds, but very comfortable. Service was impeccable, Fouzia took great care of me!

I loved staying in de Pijp area! Full of restaurants, bars and beautiful streets. Easy hotel is exactly what you see in the pictures, no mystery there. A small room of 10m2 but clean and comfortable. Ladies, if you need a hairdryer ask in the reception! They don’t have it in the rooms. Checkout in 10am (a bit early for my opinion), but the staff is amazing. Martina gave us a warm welcome and helped me with drying my hair in the lobby :) she was lovely!
