We had a large suite with one bedroom and a sitting room. It is large enough for 3 people. There is a small dressing room with plenty of space. The windows overlook a canal which is nice. The breakfast is good although very crowded at some time. Nice parking with electric charger. Staff is nice and friendly. The hotel is a bit far to walk to central Amsterdam but still okay, otherwise the metro is nearby. Overall I think is great value.

Location: Not quite at the center of the city, but very close to it. Right next to tram and metro stations, so most points of interest are easily and quickly reachable. The rentable bicycles are nice as well. Rooms and facilities: The hotel is quite new, and everything is maintained to a high standard. The rooms are well equipped and the beds are super comfy. The bathroom was spacious, extremely modern and sparkly clean. I had a room with a lovely view of a nearby canal. The lobby is uniquely designed and features a lot of plants and greenery. I felt very comfortable hanging out in the lobby and bar areas with my friends. Service: I have to say that the highlight of my stay was the amazing, warm service I received from practically everyone at the hotel. Alessandro at the front desk was incredibly attentive and kind, and went above and beyond expectations throughout my stay. Food: The breakfast was quite good, though not as delicious as it used to be - the buffet was not as extensive and some of the sides was served at room temperature. The A-la-carte food was quite good. Due to COVID, the regency club was closed but those with club access were still offered coffee and soft drinks all day at the bar. Between 6 and 8 p.m, free alcoholic beverages and delicious charcuterie snacks were also offered. I have to mention the amazing Caterina who served us at the bar during most of our stay - her coffee and iced tea were delicious, and she was very kind and attentive.

Breakfast in the restaurant was very good and the staff friendly and helpful. Did not receive the room that was reserved. I booked a canal view room on the back (quiet) side of the hotel and was given a room on the front side of the hotel with the noise of the trams that ran 24/7 just outside the window. If you book here I strongly recommend that you book a room on the back side of the hotel to avoid the train like noise that continues throughout the night. Club amenities not up to par. Paid for a Club room and club was open, but they were not serving drinks and appetizers in the evening as HR usually does for their club rooms. A limited selection of bar drinks were only offered in the hotel bar during 2 hour happy hour period along with an appetizer platter. Definitely not worth the money spent to stay in a "club" room. Poor room service. Drinking glasses were never cleaned and dirty dishes were left in the room after room service. Took away bath towels and bath cloths and did not replace. Did not empty trash. Did not replenish coffee. English selection radio broadcasts on TV (BBC channels) did not work. The wait staff in the bar was very good but the bartender on first night was completely unacceptable. Sat at the bar and was not even acknowledged by the bartender. She continued to fill orders of wait staff and take phone orders but never served us. A member of the wait staff eventually came and took our order. When bartender finally brought our drinks we ordered appetizers off the menu. They were never brought out. When I received my bill, the appetizers were on the bill and I had to request they be removed. It was at the billing time that I was also advised that drinks we had ordered were not part of the club package and had to be paid for.

Oh this place was nice! I’m more of a Marriott/ Hilton guy but found this Hyatt and decided to give it a try. The front desk was courteous and kind and also gave us an early check-in. The hotel is beautiful decorated and feels brand new. Room: The room was really nice with a huge bathroom, closet and blackout shutters. One of my nicest mid-luxury stays in Amsterdam. Fitness: the gym was the perfect size with enough equipment to get a great workout in and hit all the parts of the body. Food: I didn’t get a chance to try the food but I heard there’s a great restaurant on-site. Plenty of great restaurants around the area. Location: I’ve been to Amsterdam plenty of times so I love staying outside of the city center away from tourist. Amsterdam Central is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Perfect to enjoy the central and the local vibes. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with this hotel. It’s a great choice.

Honestly, the best part of my trip to Amsterdam was staying at the Hyatt Regency. Beyond having excellent amenities, the rooms were spotless, and the decor throughout the hotel was both refreshing and refined. The staff was incredibly courteous and responsive to any needs. The price was very reasonable. As for dining, I went to the restaurant for an Indonesian style dinner and was blown away by how excellent it was. I also tried their standard menu and found it was varied and delicious as well. Additionally, the morning breakfast is exceptional and I would highly recommend it. Lastly, I went for a massage one day, and Kana was probably the best masseuse I've ever had, can't recommend her enough. The spa is kind of on the smaller side, but the service they provided was excellent! Overall, if you are coming to Amsterdam, I would highly recommend staying here. Next time I'm in Amsterdam, I'll know I'll be staying here!

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Amsterdam with a group of friends last weekend to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday. We had an amazing experience, made better by Leo at the front desk. He welcomed us warmly, and when he found out we were there to celebrate, went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent experience. We came back to our room one evening to discover sparkling wine on ice. The next night we found birthday cake and a hand written note from Leo. It was a customer experience I won't forget. In addition to the excellent customer service the hotel is well maintained, clean, and stylish. It is in a great location close to everything, but still quiet and private. I would recommend this to everyone! Rent bikes from the hotel and discover the beautiful city of Amsterdam!

Overall nice hotel with good accessibility to the metro station (3 mins walk). I didn’t not like the housekeeping though. They don’t vacuum or clean the room well. Glasses and cup stayed dirty, don’t clean toilets (just add new towels and keep the old ones in the bathroom). We checked out earlier than we planned.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hyatt regency ,my experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a memorable stay. The staff at hotel deserves special recognition for their exceptional service. Every team member went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their attentiveness and friendly demeanor created a truly personalized experience. The room was not only impeccably clean but also thoughtfully designed, providing a perfect blend of comfort. I appreciate Hyatt commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety, especially in the current times. It truly made me feel at ease throughout my stay. In conclusion, I highly recommend for anyone seeking a top-notch hotel experience. I look forward to returning and experiencing their hospitality again.

This hotel is its own experience in Amsterdam: from the beautiful spa/gym, to one of the best Indonesian restaurants, to the stunning decor and ambiance of this hotel. One of the nicest Regency hotels I’ve stayed at— with a very cozy Regency lounge. Waking up to this beautiful view each day was amazing, as well as being within 2 minute walking distance from the Weesperplein and K-G train stations. An absolute must stay 😍

The rooms were slightly on the smaller side but hotel and service were awesome otherwise..located amazingly well close to metro and tram stops. Easy to get to and explore the city of Amsterdam from. The breakfast was included and it more than hit the spot. The chef is accommodating of dietary restrictions. Sometimes though getting hold of a server can be tough at breakfast service. Rooms are well stocked. Sauna and steam rooms were nice and clean and were a great recovery after long walking days in city. 10/10 would come stay here again. Regency club access was nice with small snacks and decent happy hour with food and drinks.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s a beautiful hotel in a nice neighborhood with some great restaurants near by. We were also able to walk to the main downtown area. Our room was stylish and the rainfall shower was amazing. We upgraded to club access and loved the afternoon happy hour. The most amazing thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet! Unbelievable selection and quality. We will fantasize about it for the rest of our lives! My husband also had a great massage in the spa. Staff was very kind & accommodating. 10/10 would recommend!

I love staying in the Hyatt Regency hotels. Nicely located to have quiet nights but also in walking distance to all sights and good restaurants. The service is very attentive and ensure one has a great stay! Really loved the Lounge to have a cool drink and relax. Also April, who made sure the lounge is always looking clean and nice was lovely and we had a great chat! Also recommend to rent bikes and explore Amsterdam with it! A day rent is 18€ and the bikes are in good condition.

I really have to thank the staff at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam for making our anniversary special. Upon checking we were asked about the reason for our stay for which we lightly mentioned our anniversary. That night we returned to find a personal written note and bottle of Prosecco from Leo. I’ve stayed at many Hyatt’s in the past, including one for our wedding night, and this Hyatt really made our stay special. Rooms were great too - soft linens and pillows, thought out room with nightlights and plugs for international travelers, and overall very roomy. Breakfast was fabulous too as well as the lounge, sauna, and steam room. Closely located to the tram and metro with a grocery store across the street. Definitely will be returning when in Amsterdam again.

Extremely quiet street and just a 10-minute tram ride to the Rijksmuseum. We were very thankful to be able to check in early in the morning after a red eye flight. Our room was very comfortable and quiet despite facing a city street. The shower also notably offered one of the best showers I’ve had. The bar had excellent cocktails.

Really enjoyed my weekend stay here! Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Family oriented with friendly staff. I would like to commend your staff member April who was in the Regency Lounge. She was very helpful and treats everyone with respect. Thank you April for making our stay even better! Highly recommended

Not my favorite property. Being welcomed by name was a nice touch from the manager, but the rest of the stay was downhill. No upgrade given despite asking when multiple suites were available on the website for booking, I found multiple bugs in the bathroom in the middle of the night, woke up to a lady barging into the room to drop off a welcome letter, they entered the room and cleaned every day despite me specifically asking for no room service and putting the sign outside the door (and each day the sign was back on the inside of the door after I came back). The only major positive I have is the breakfast buffet and the alcohol included in the club on evenings

Spent a long weekend here recently with our 6-year-old and it quickly made the list of our all-time favorite hotel stays. Comfortable, spacious rooms, helpful staff, gorgeous lobby and hands-down the best hotel breakfast we have ever experienced. 11/10 would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends. Accessibility: street level lobby, wide walkways and hallways, standard-sized elevators

Writing my review 7 months later. Stayed here in May and I really enjoyed my stay. It was the perfect location for me. Not directly in the centre of the touristy part of Amsterdam. Located on a wide, tree lined street with a tram stop and metro station nearby, it was very easy to get to and from the hotel. I was visiting Amsterdam for a concert at the Ziggo Dome and the Weesperplein metro station was a direct journey to the venue which was very convenient. The rooms were beautiful, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices to cater to everyone. Service was great, I arrived in Amsterdam mid morning and was able to check-in early which I was very grateful for. This was the first Hyatt hotel I stayed at and was a fantastic introduction to the hotel brand. I consider it the best hotel I have stayed at in my years of travelling. This hotel would be at the top of my list to consider the next time I want to visit Amsterdam.

Great rooms and spacious for Amsterdam but largely due to them not being in the center. Still very good location near tram and main driving route into the city. Also very close the beautiful parks for a nice picnic and kids will love it. Best of all the service from the staff is just outstanding.

This hotel has a great location, clean rooms, good room service, and caring staff. My birthday was approaching during my stay and Lucas made sure it was celebrated. There was a delicious birthday cake and a card in my room upon arrival. I'll be staying here again.

Our stay was wonderful. The room and hotel in general was neat and clean. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and everything we tried was delicious. The staff across the board - housekeeping, restaurant, bell service, and front desk - were polite patient, and helpful. They made our visit to Amsterdam exceptional. Thank you!

We stayed here for 4 days over Christmas. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Overall the hotel was beautiful and the bar was great! I only gave 4 stars because amenities such as room service and bike rental were overpriced.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is super nice. Beds are beyond comfortable, the room was warm and clean. I appreciated the flower art around the hotel. Location is great, metro and tram are close. Walking distance to cafes and restaurants.

Fantastic hotel! Excellent location, easy walk to everything in the city. The staff were wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast every morning, there were so many offerings I didn't have a chance to try everything but the fresh fruit, large assortment of meats and cheeses and fresh breads and pastries were excellent, the coffee was also incredible. Our room was very large with a sitting area and a window that opened which we enjoyed as the weather was very nice and the fresh air was appreciated. The bathroom was also lovely, very modern with lots of space. The restaurant looked very good, we will have to try it the next time we visit. There are many lounge areas for relaxing with a cocktail or a coffee, it feels very warm for a larger hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel and will be staying again.

I am still staying at the hotel and have been very well treated by front desk manager Alexandra. She took the pain of bringing luggage to our room all by herself and gave us room near to our friends room. Rooms are very beautiful, spacious and modern. Bathroom is very chic. Just a suggestion, please put atleast 2 bottles of water instead of one. 😊

Absolutely lovely hotel!!! So beautiful, new, contemporary, and clean! The building itself is lovely and location, while not being right in the center of the action, is probably better because it’s a quieter part of town with easy access to public transport. The only reason I gave a 4 star was because the Indonesian restaurant I was looking so forward to trying was closed and there was no mention of it in the website! The alternative is a casual bar restaurant which was okay but really not too great. Would have loved to have tried the restaurant or have other options for dining in the hotel. Regardless the big plus is that the rooms are quiet, contemporary, with comfortable beds, contemporary and spacious bathrooms. The service was hit and miss there were some really friendly people and some not so much, but can’t expect everyone to be the same. Also I’m a discoverist so was hoping for a bit better room at least on the top floor but that’s okay I know it’s not usually an upgrade for discoverist members and apparently the hotel was pretty booked up. I also LOVED the fitness center and casual spa but most of all loved the open courtyard, which was perfect for hanging out. I would definitely come back, and hope next time the restaurant is open!

Hyatt Amsterdam has been an absolute pleasure. Location is central and super convenient. Breakfast is great and I wouldn’t miss it - great selection of fruits, salads and cereals. The gym is great too and is open 24/7. Overall a great stay, will definitely be back.

Excellent location close to the historical city center; close to public transportation solutions. The room was excellent, quiet and well equipped. Great bathroom. Hotel bar is OK as well as food (standard hotel chain food). Breakfast is excellent with great choice. Staff is professional and very kind.

Nice hotel lobby, bar and restaurant. Breakfast is good very versatile great options. Restaurant staff very friendly and eager to help. Front desk staff are less helpful unfortunately, very difficult to reach them by phone. No concierge services provided, a must for 5 star hotels. Location is nice, next to a university quiet street but a minimum 20-30 minute walk anywhere.

Our third stay here. Can’t say enough about how great the staff is. They left us a beautiful card on arrival in our room. Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Housekeeping did a fantastic job. We missed the club lounge but enjoyed the charcuterie board provided to us at the restaurant downstairs as well as the Spanish white wine (Globalist perk). I can’t wait to go back. Front desk staff the best!!
