Positives: 1- Great location. 2- Fairly spacious rooms. 3- Staff are friendly and helpful. 4- The room air conditioner was great in the hot summer. 5- Free WiFi. 6- They offer a taxi service (not for free though). Negatives: 1- Old and small non-smart TVs. 2- Some rooms windows view is bad (looking at a wall). 3- The bathroom doesn’t have a bathtub. Overall I recommend this hotel 👍🏻

I'm very happy with the location of this hotel, right next to the Royal Palace on a relatively quiet street compared to other streets in the Old Town area. The room was everything that you need, no frills, but decently sized room. The bathroom was a little smaller than I liked, but the shower was spacious. Overall I would recommend and I would stay in this historic hotel. The AC worked in the room while I was there, but they were quick to tell you a check out that it does fail from time to time and all they can offer you is a fan. Keep that in mind if you really need AC!

Great hotel. Reasonably priced, very central. Easy to get everywhere. Great food in the restaurant, friendly staff. What more could you want? Hotel room lovely a clean, bed was a bit naff and the pillows weren’t great but I’m used to a harder bed and firm pillows at home. Tv didn’t work, could’ve done with that one evening but you don’t go abroad to watch TV do you! Thanks again will be booking when we come back.

Cannot recommend this hotel more! The staff were so helpful and friendly and service was amazing. The location is as central as you can be, within minutes to all the attractions. The rooms were very clean, modern and well taken care of. The decorations were beautiful and there were so many unique quirky decors, like the lift and the talking digital painting in the lobby that was fun. 10/10 recommend!

We loved every minute in this beautiful and cosy hotel. The location is amazing, 10-15 minutes to walk to most attractions, the staff were smiling, friendly and very welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated and prepared, with thought given to all the things you need for a lovely stay. The food is exceptionally good, the steak is very nicely done, the friendly atmosphere created by the manager of the restaurant Colin complimented each meal. Everyone was attentive to making sure we enjoyed our stay. We highly recommend and we shall definitely choose it again.

Absolutely beautiful and historic hotel with the perfect location. It is very central to most main attractions with good transport links nearby. The staff members are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help us. The beds were extremely comfortable too and our room was lovely. Unfortunately the only downside for us was that there was a lot of noise from the rooms above and to the side of us, we could hear every word of the conversation of the room next door and there was constant creaking and banging of the floorboards when the guests upstairs were walking around. We also had guests next door banging on the walls when we would flush the toilet or have a shower, which is certainly not excessive noise but due to the thin walls it must have been quite loud. I understand that this is a historical building and not much can be done to rectify this but the soundproofing does leave something to be desired. Everything else was fantastic though so please do not let this put you off!

Unbeatable location in central Amsterdam that's cozy and classy, with very warm and friendly staff. The room (a royal suite) was clean and very well stocked. The bed was especially comfortable with a nice mattress topper and a view to the city. Not every item was of highest quality, but everything was in great working order and we had no issues during our stay. The delicious restaurant downstairs was another big plus.

Location is great! Near a lot of attractions. Room smells like bad aftershave. Tv doesn’t work. They offered one complimentary breakfast due to broken TV on our 5 night stay, but revoked it when we didn’t use it the first day. Unbelievably petty. Street view room is really a view of noisy roof top utilities and the back of the sign. Room is clean, bed below average. You can do better.

Lovely hotel near Dam Square. Great location, easy to access the public trams. Also close to Jordaan area for great cafés. Service was friendly and helpful. Room was adequate. Nothing spectacular, but it was just what we needed. Room was quiet at night. Only complaint was the very old hair dryer that took three times as long to dry my hair!

Fantastic hotel, lovely room with view of the main street, The Heineken bar next-door which is the second oldest bar in Amsterdam is stunning. Restaurant food was reasonably priced. 12 minute straight forward walk from Central Station.

I really appreciated how the staff went out of their way to help our group feel comfortable, including allowing us to check in to our rooms early after a long flight, helping arrange a few different tours, and booking us an airport shuttle. It really helped our vacation get off on the right foot! When back in Amsterdam I would stay there again.

Hotel was great! It was in a perfect location. Easy to get places - 10 minute walk to everything or a 10 minute tram. There's one right outside the hotel and one a block away. 10 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal. Rooms were spacious enough for two people and to relax after a busy day. Food was good. Would stay here again!

Overall this is a great property with comfortable rooms, excellent staff and equally great location. On site restaurant and bar is a good option for those that want to stay in. If you want to go out lots of local shops, restaurants and cafes near by. Value of services for price paid was excellent.

I spent 10 days there with a friend. Asked for a 2 bed bedroom and got one bed for two persons. That wasn't a problem only a minor issue. The breakfast is almost platonic andd the cordiality of the people working there was good. It's a little expensive but if you can handle it, is god to go there.

Our room was adequate with comfortable beds and an overall quiet setting. Location is awesome and can easily walk to a lot of great places. Staff was very friendly and was able to accommodate an early check in at 9:30am after a long flight 🙏. The bodega is was closed for some renovations (Until October 20, 2020), but the bar/restaurant that is open was good.

The advantage of this hotel is its location and helpful staff. Close the central station, to the dam square and to many other main landmarks. Rooms need freshening up. We moved rooms and hot shown several rooms, each had some disadvantages. One room had very small bathroom, the other had no air conditioner, and the one we ended up in was very dark and the bathroom door had no stopper. also there were 2 elevators - one had the ground floor button broken so we had to get to first floor and get down one floor by stairs, and the other one was the world’s slowest elevator.

This hotel is very central, just off Dam Square.,beautiful decor and efficient staff. Room was small but comfortable. Bed was amazing, had a lovely sleep. The little things in a 4* hotel that we have stayed in previously. Milk, drinking glasses, water & a proper hairdryer. If you had all these I would return.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and have been back twice since then. Love this hotel. Great, friendly staff, location is prime in the middle of everything. Dam square is just a few steps away across the street. Tram is very close by to catch to anywhere in the city. Can’t wait to be back in early November again. Already booked.

Can't fault this hotel 1 bit. Brilliant location and the rooms are absolutely spotless, Staff are all so nice and friendly, rooms are cleaned every morning and the cleaning standards are high, My first time at this hotel and I can say I will 100% stay with these guys again. Best hotel yet I've stayed in whilst in Amsterdam. Location is key and this hotel is right beside dam square

We had an excellent stay! The staff are very friendly; it was so nice to check-in & immediately be handed a map with sites to see, a little book of tours/activities with discounts, and bottled water just because it was a hot day. Our room was clean & quiet. The staff were also great at helping set up a cab to the airport for us. Excellent communication. Location was great for where we wanted to go & what we wanted to see. The fact that it was the original Heineken brewery location was also a nice bonus.

The service and location are superb. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable about the city and they offer their services in locating areas, which buses, trams, or trains to take. They look things up, print them out and highlight what you need to know in order to get where you want to go. The wait staff in the restaurant is great. I have enjoyed my stay to the max.

I had a very pleasant stay here as it’s a 10 minutes walk from Centraal Station which saved me taxi fares. The staff are very attentive, the rooms are nice but not very spacious, please check photos and the rooms before you accept it. The breakfast have a simple variety of continental food items which you will definitely enjoy. However the roads are being fixed at the moment and will end in 2024, this made my walking experience from the train station to the hotel very hard.

One of the best historical places in Amsterdam, this hidden jewel in the hart of the city has been the forefront of change and gender equality. One of very few places where women chose to go for drinks at the time when social rules did not accept women to have equal rights as men. Elegantly decorated , cozy, and most of all one of best coffees in the town. Try the double espresso, superior taste.

First "four star" hotel experience in the EU that felt like the stars were earned. Spacious, clean rooms, professional and polite staff, perfect location for my itinerary. I cannot think of one complaint!

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. They compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you won't be let down. Absolutely, excellent location!! There is a lot of construction out front right now, but you can't beat the location. The rooms were nice as is the hotel. There's a restaurant in the hotel which serves breakfast-dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
