For
all
the
reviews
and
price,
it
was
severely
un-impressive.
If
you
are
a
writer
and
this
hotel
means
something
to
you
on
an
artistic
level..
then
it's
worth
every
moment.
If
you're
looking
for
a
quality
stay
in
Amsterdam,
there
are
nicer
options
for
less.
That
said,
it's
still
super
cute
and
right
on
the
canals.
The
location/district
is
mostly
traversable
by
foot,
and
Rokin
station
is
the
closest
metro
to
get
anywhere
outside
of
the
area.
The
front
desk
dropped
the
ball
in
a
few
places
worth
noting:
1
-
We
had
called
and
confirmed
on
check
in
for
a
private
boat
touring
and
even
after
verbal
confirmation,
we
did
not
get
the
boat
touring.
They
owned
up
to
this,
but
it
was
unfortunate
given
the
waste
of
our
time
and
expectations.
2
-
They
didn't
provide
a
wifi,
which
you
can
call
and
ask
for
yourself.
3
-
The
room
service
menu
is
very
minimal,
and
vegetarian
options
are
not
present.
Having
to
walk
to
McDonalds
(ew)
to
get
a
bite
when
the
staff
mentioned
they
had
some
food
options
was
also
off-putting.
If
you
do
stay
here,
know
that
the
hotel
is
gated
and
gets
closed/shuttered
at
night,
making
it
tough
to
spot
when
returning
after
dark.
Having
stayed
at
6
hotels
in
Amsterdam
thus
far,
this
one
isn't
the
worst
but
it's
far
from
the
best
by
my
standards.
