I’ll start with the good points, the bar and the sky lounge were excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful as well it was clean and well looked after. Also the location means that the metro is a 15 minute walk away which takes you into Amsterdam centraal. The bad points are that the rooms and the service from reception. In a double room you get two single beds pushed together and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be working. The woman at reception was rude and kept us waiting over 20 minutes to check in despite having to walk there in the rain at 11 o’clock at night. All in all mixed feelings about this place.

I found this hotel ok, as the outside and communal areas were decorated very nicely, but the room we were given looked run down (peeling headboards, scratches on the floor and a slow draining sink). The hotel was a good 15/20 minutes walk from the closest metro station which went to centraal station. My main issues were that extra amenities were not provided such as slippers, robes or pillows there was also no mini fridge in the room. The beds were not decorated at all and shifted whilst we slept. I recommend this hotel if you’ve been to Amsterdam before and don’t want to be too close to the city centre and if you’re looking for something simple and easy.

I put one star on my review becos the room wasnt clean at all and the bed was so uncomfortable. they made up my room two days in a row and they only fixed the bed, they didnt clean anything else, they didnt even wipe out the table or the toilet or the sink, they took the two little towels and the remote controle, i dont know why.. anyway the staff are nice but this hotel needs to work on the Hygiene, if they didnt bother to clean the table where we can see how dirty it is, i wonder if they even clean the toilet between clients.. The smoking area was also soo dirty, tables are dirty, floor is dirty.. i dont recommand this hotel, i got unfortunatly sick becos of those unhealthy conditions and the lack of Ventilation..

dirty smelly dive in the rear end of an industrial estate it looks like an industrial can of toxic waste which describes it perfectly the hotel is poison inside . It reminds me of a colour blind man in the blue light district ..it seems like good value at first but once he steps inside he's going to get a shock . Nice from far but far from nice.

The executive room on 15th floor was dirty and dusty. The restaurant did not have (not even close to) all the items on their menu and the waiters did not even know that they had an online menu (even though the Dutch menu had QR link to it). They delivered wrong dishes at first but fixed it quickly though. The Cafe folks did not know what they have (oat milk for example) and they had problems on delivering what was ordered.

Despite booking online, I had to pay €40 before being given our room key card, upon arrival we had to wait at least 30 minutes before being seen by a member of staff, however we were given two free drink vouchers for the bar, but they can only be used for certain drinks. Room was not brilliant for the money, I was under the impression that when booking a double room, it would be a double bed, not two singles. The room itself was unreasonably cold (heating does not work), small and overall not worth the money. Lots of dust and bleach marks on the bathroom floor. We were woken up by cleaners at 8:30 despite saying we didn’t want that twice! The bar and sky lounge however is lovely, friendly helpful staff, is well kept and nicely decorated. Overall I would not stay here again.

The staff is very nice, and you are served with a smile. Because the building is round, you sometimes don't see the staff because they are busy in another part. Regarding the food, I can say the following. We had the tomato soup, which was disappointing. It did not have the taste we were accustomed to. The main course was also a letdown. It might sound spoiled, but this was our experience. However, I was pleased that my hamburger was well-cooked. But the vegan fish tasted like nothing. The dessert was truly shocking. We had a Dame Blanche and sweet delicacies. The delicacies were super delicious. However, the Dame Blanche was unrecognizable. A scoop of ice cream was hidden under a very large dollop of whipped cream. 😂 On the other hand, the chocolate sauce was really delicious.

We had a nice stay at this Hotel. The room was cute, also the view from our window was amazing. The breakfast was super. You get different things and you can take as much as you want. During the day you can take a Coke or ask for more Tea or coffee. And the young lady Geraldine that is working there is super friendly

Great room - great building - some poor staff. Really rude and unhelpful staff in the bar, especially the men who think it is funny to be rude to paying guests. I don’t know why the people who are paid by having guests, want to be absolutely horrendous to guests. Do better - and get rid of the rude bald man Yohan upstairs who CLEARLY cannot work in a 4* hotel. A real shame as the hotel is actually really nice and this is the only let down!

Very nice hotel. It's a little out of the center, but I recommend it if you're looking for a nice place to spend a night with your partner. The bed is very soft and big. The pillows were a bit high for my personal taste, but they were also soft. We had a room on the highest floor so we had a nice view. The hotel itself looks nice from the outside, because of the blue lights. The only thing I didn't quite like is that the toilet door doesn't lock nor properly close. The price was a little higher than expected, but it's still decent.

I stayed 3 days at Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam and first of all i have to say the people working there are really friendly and helpfull. The breakfast was good and you can have drinks in the Sky bar with a great View. The Location of the Hotel is not the best, you have to walk 18 minutes to the next train station and we had problems getting an Uber. But the parking for your Car is really fair and protected. The rooms of the hotel look cool, but are not functional and a bit old. There was a lot of humidity in the rooms and it was not cleaned well. There was a glas table in the room, which was defenetly not wiped before we came. There are problems with the price showed on the booking. com app and the price you actually have to pay. You have to pay 70 Euros more per stay and the firendly people at the front desk always have to explain it. Overall it was an okay stay but there are points to improve.

Room was very dirty. Also the smell of weed coming through the air vents all night. It wants to look all very fancy but it was very dissapointing especially for the price. Have had way better hotels and service for way less. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous. I’ll give them that.

Hotel was lovely and clean. Building is very unique, we didn’t eat at the hotel, we looked into breakfast buffet but felt it over priced at €18.50pp. Restaurant/bar is beautiful and a good range of drinks. Location is lovely, it is a 30 min or so journey into the centre but metro is cheap and easy to work out. We were very happy with our stay here

It is very well located with all-around incredible views. The restaurant en bar is on the 17th floor and has a total 360 view of the east side of Amsterdam and Duivendrecht. They have some of the nest coffee I've had. The apple pie, however, wasn't that good, sadly. Also the rooms are what you can expect from the Fletcher Hotels. Clean, high-quality, and simplistic.

No fridge, hairdryer, water in the room. Location is very inconvenient. Rude front desk. The price is definitely not worth the experience.

I liked the unique design, especially the shower space. I would not recommend it if you don't like the feeling of being exposed. It could be much better if the location was close to a station but the price was reasonable and I enjoyed the stay overall.

Location is easy to find and easy access to the road. Room is unique with the shower in the middle of the room, fun change from other hotels. Service was exceptional. At reception, Ali, was so very friendly/helpful/informative and made our checking in process so nice and smooth. He was a pleasure to talk with and made our experience great from the moment we walked in. Thank you Ali, you were great.

A real futuristic room with a real nice view. Good breakfast. Everything available. Was a nice experience. The hairdryer was not that clean though and the kettle didn't shut off automatically. The tv needs to have bluetooth smartviewing though in this day and age. Above all I would advice Fletcher!!!!

Our stay was almost perfect. Rooms were super comfortable, however, we booked a double bed royal deluxe online, but had the surprise at arrival that the rooms we thought we'd be getting werent the onea we had booked, so we had to pay extra cash to get the rooms we booked abd paid before arrival. The rooms have a shower place right in the middle of the bedroom, its unique and an experience to use those, however, once you do it, you have to be cautious with the water gettin all over the floor in the bedroom. Last, but not least, there is no place for smokers except the rooftop or out the hotel, like literally on the parking lot. So if you are a smoker, make sure its hot outside, because there is no smoking area. Other than this, the stay was perfect! Architecture is amazing, also great decor for nice pics all around the hotel, even the hotel itself. We will for sure be back! 👌🏾😁

Wouldn’t recommend coming here if you’re a couple looking to get intimate or if you’re trying to get a good nights rest. The beds are unbelievably uncomfortable & You honestly cant even turn around in bed without the whole mattress slipping off. Apart from that, the views from the apartment are lovely and KFC is a 5 min walk away.

The worst hotel that I have chosen in my life. The room was not cleaned and the sheets were not changed, and the bed was very annoying and the bathroom was in the middle of the room, but when taking a shower, the water flowed from the walls and other things and finally the worst video of this room. The reception of the hotel was very unprofessional and finally the price of the hotel was very high compared to all these facilities😔

Really bad restaurant customer service! We were completely ignored for 40 mins even though we had a reservation. Our food was cold and late & we received no apology or nice treatment for the poor service.

I… don‘t really know what to say. I am SO disappointed with my visit to the Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam, it does not live up to the expectations of a 4 star hotel. First off, we booked via their website and paid online. Only to find out they don‘t actually have our room free which we paid for. That was a bummer but we swept it off at first. Sadly, the only thing they offered as compensation was a free drink from the bar?! Mind the fact that we paid about 200€ per night! Then we went to the room we were given instead to freshen up a bit only to find out that the shower has a leak somewhere. We reported it to the staff who did not care. They just told me to be more careful and to cover it with a towel. Things went even more downhill from there. We then went to the restaurant on the top floor. First, we ordered drinks, which lead to the first problem: The drink we ordered, which was written on the menu, was not served in the restaurant. Only in the bar one floor below.. My partner nicely asked if they could bring us the beverage still and the restaurant staff brushed it off in a very rude way and told us to just choose something else and not make a fuss about it. After that, we ordered the food (~25-30€ per serving). The ribeye we ordered was cut into slices, probably to hide the fact that it had a rubber-like texture. On top of that, the serving of overly salted vegetable pasta was about enough for a hamster. Not a grown person who is paying 25€ for that main dish. Lastly, we gave the bar a try. One last spark of hope for the evening. We were sat down at a table, which had yet to be cleaned. That happened about 10mins after sitting there. We waited another 15mins for staff member to come and take our order. Mind you, that we used the given QR-code to call for a waiter. When the waiter finally arrived we asked what took so long.. only to be told that they are short staffed and that we should not be in such a hurry. The bar was not that filled for the staff to be in such a mood… causing them to disrespect not unly us, but other customers as well. I am really disappointed in this visit, especially given my excitement regarding this trip to the Fletcher Hotel.

Nice designed hotel located near the freeway. For quick trips to the City centre this hotel is not ideal. The room is nice with the shower in the middle of the room. However there is no easy place to hold ones bathrobe or soaps. The double bed was decent. No noises from the hallway or freeway

Stayed here for my birthday weekend with my partner really enjoyed the hotel and would recommend this hotel for any couples. The staff were really friendly as well

The layout of the room is original, although the shower is somewhat uncomfortable to regulate the flow of water and the temperature, the bathroom is not as private as in other hotels, the attention could be improved, the waiters at the bar are very attentive and helpful And about its famous hamburger, it's just advertising, for half the price you can find better ones, the location is a bit far to walk, 1 kilometer from the nearest station, the views from both the rooms and the bar or the restaurant are incredible

Nice staff and great service , but room is terrible! Not clean at all !! Bed is ripped, Blood on the wall in the toilet, broken sink and coffee machine . And walls are covered with finger prints….really disappointing

The hotel is nice enough. The rooms are compact, with the standalone shower as the main attraction. Otherwise, the hotel doesn’t offer many features – no gym or pool etc. But the restaurant is exceptional! We have various food allergies to contend with as a couple, and it’s always a hassle to find a restaurant that will accommodate them. The Pi restaurant not only did so with aplomb, they even printed out a special menu card with a three-course meal created especially for us. Hence: kudos and five stars!

No fridge in the rooms. Two lifts, so bear in mind that it could take time. It's sure worth the experience but not so much the price.

Nice experience. Rooms are quite peculiar and nice for a solo or couple trip. Very clean. Worth to have a drink in the upper lounge. Not far from the metro, but still 30 minutes to downtown Amsterdam.

The food at the hotel was good, housekeeping was nice. But ... I found dirty floors, walls, mirrors unwashed. I had a paid breakfast that I didn't get. I called the reception 5 times about it and each time I got the information that I had definitely received breakfast. Nobody wanted to help me :(

Is not a central hotel, and metro station is in about 20 min walk. Except that, staff was really friendly. They gave us a booked room, but they resolve the problem really fast. Breakfast was really diverse and delicious. They also have a rooftop but they kinda hide the view from it (you bearly see the city view, it's a pitty).

Great view from rooms and restaurant and bar. They provid a shuttle bus to bring you to the concert place. Staff is amazing. Cleaning of the rooms is not that good. Strange spots and handprints on the wall. Mould on the outside of the shower

Awesome on evey count. A bit of a walk but totally worth it. Park behind the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Great place for romantic getaways.

The place was so fancy. The bar was ok but not really special. The food in the restaurant was very disappointing. But cold and way too expensive. As if it is a exclusive restaurant but it is really not. Over priced and the food was not warm.

We have visited this hotel, due to a training that I had to attend for work. My employer booked the room, and we were very much surprised by the room, clean, neat and the fun shower in the middle. The quality of the breakfast is outstanding! The friendliness of the staff is amazing! I certainly want to recommend this to anyone. Although the hotel is outside of the city center, it is easy to reach by public transportation. And if you are friendly to the staff, they will even shuttle-bus you outside of the standard shuttle-hours. The view from the roof over the city is marvelous, during the evening/night!

Nice hotel, well designed, the concept (building) is wonderful and am always in awe when I visit, very nice hotel. The rooms were very nice, cozy, clean and it compliments this unique hotel. On the negative side, I will advise anyone not to pay for breakfast (especially if you get up late) From 10.30ish nothing was brought out from the kitchen. If it runs out on the buffet, forget it. Also, the waiters are in a hurry to get you out of the dinning (breakfast buffet) area.

Rooms look nice, beds are comfortable. The shower looks cool but difficult to get good flow and warmth since there is only one lever for both. But the rooms are not dusted regularly. I have dust allergy and was sneezing from that a few times a day. However, this is more a business hotel rather than for vacation. And no drugs allowed.

  • 2/5 Kristina G. 1 year ago on Google
Wouldn't stay there again. The room was dirty, the location was far from the central and airport. Although it was reasonably priced the amount you spend on the train/uber to get into the centre of Amsterdam might as well spend more on a nice hotel in a better location.

  • 5/5 Amandeep S. 1 year ago on Google
This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The amenities were top-notch, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The location was also convenient and within walking distance to many attractions. I would definitely stay here again!

Quite far from everything, Staff not really friendly and lifts very slow. Room very nice to look at but not really functional, I mean the shower is in the middle of the room, and the toilet is not so private. Anyway, the Metro/train is a good walk from the hotel.

The service at this hotel was exceptional. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, from the front desk staff to the housekeeping team. The hotel itself was also beautiful, with stunning views and luxurious amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay

A nice stay. Friendly service, great room with a super view. Parking costs 16 € extra plus tourist tax. Unfortunately, small deficiencies in the point of cleanliness and the great coffee machine did not work properly. Nevertheless, I would come again.

I went there with a social deal offer, and that is something I won't recommend because the menu for dinner is basically types of burger! So unless that is what you want to eat, don't go for it! I would've appreciated the menu to be more explicit on the app! The overall experience isn't bad, the service was good and friendly! The restaurant was clean!
