We stayed in Element Amsterdam for 1 month. It was an amazing experience with attentive staff, clean rooms and exceptional service. Since I was going to work from home, I requested them a room with kitchen and all related amenities and they took care of it more than I asked for. They kept everything clean and clear. Things were cleaned and updated time to time and any issue was just a call and a few minutes away. This hotel also provides a free breakfast and a laundry service at a minimal cost. The location is great and close to public transport. Overall, I would say whether you're traveling for a business or a personal trip, this hotel, staff, service, ambiance and location is outstanding. Worth staying in and you will have a great time.

Stayed here for 7 nights and pretty happy with what the hotel offered. You get full kitchen amenities with a supermarket downstairs. Also a good variety of breakfast selections in the morning everyday. Some may be troubled with the 10 min walking but if you are lucky, bus #62 is right down there bringing you to the train/metro station. Use 9292 to plan your trip that might save you lots of time. Bedding is extremely comfortable to my like. If there’s one thing that I can suggest is, it would be appreciated if the TV is able to support chromecast/Apple TV for streaming contents from your own devices. Overall this is a good stay!

I've stayed in many actual five star hotels before (Four Season, St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental, etc.,) so it's difficult for me to say this is a five 🌟 or 💎 hotel. That being said, this is an exceptional hotel. Whilst the hotel is situated about 7 km(?) from the city center (The Dam Square), this is a very convenient location. I actually walked from here to the Starbucks daily. It's so easy and pleasant to get around. There is a full service mall and grocery store at the base. The rooms are super clean and modern. The staff is top notch. If you are staying for a long term in Amsterdam, this would be an excellent pick. If you are staying for a short term and only need to go to center city on occasion then this is a great option. The neighborhood is super safe and you are a few blocks from the park. Kudos to the staff for running an exceptional hotel.

I had an amazing stay in this hotel. Rooms are big, modern and clean with well-equipped kitchen. They do daily cleaning service. The breakfast was good with variety of options. Staff were super friendly and professional. The hotel has many facilities like meeting rooms, workspace, Gym and Loundry service.

We were there for 6 nights and found all of the staff to be exceptionally helpful and courteous. Our room and the entire hotel was clean and well appointed. It is conveniently located a 10 minute walk from the metro station and near shopping and dining. Our travel agent had made a mistake and booked our check-out date a day early. When we realized what had happened, the staff bent over backwards to correct the situation and keep us in our same room. Particular thanks to Teeuw who always greeted us with a smile and something nice to say as we came and went, Patsy who couldn't be more welcoming and kind and Mikael who spent a great deal of time helping us find our way around and plan a couple of excursions. The ONLY downside to the room was that because of the design of the shower it is impossible NOT to get water all over the bathroom floor - it routinely took two bath mats to soak up the splattered water.

Room was amazing! On site laundry available and room was huge with smart tv so you can cast from your phone. Plenty of usb ports, fridge, sink and stove. Also connected to a shopping center. About 10-15 minute walk to train.

Great hotel choice for a city trip. Mall with a supermarket right next to it and public transportation connections were good and nearby. Breakfast was good, nothing special about it but neither any complaints. The dining area wasnt too big and i liked that, cause it was pretty quiet so i could enjoy breakfast in peace 😅. It was also decorated nicely and had good background music. Staff was friendly and our room got cleaned every day. They also had a gym that had all the essentials and some meeting rooms.

Excellent hotel! The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Every interaction I had with all of the staff members was pleasant and very friendly. Fantastic staff! The rooms are in good condition, modern, clean, and comfortable. Free breakfast, free wifi, and on-site laundry/fitness center. I had zero problems with my stay and found the hotel to be top notch - probably one of the friendliest, easiest, and most comfortable hotel experiences I've ever had. I would definitely stay here again!

Unfortunately don't have any photos, but we had a wonderful few days in the hotel, employees are very nice, room is clean overall great experience. You can rent bikes at the hotel also. We will be coming here again definitely. 👌🏻🌷

It is my current "home" in Amsterdam which I pick and prefer for long stay. The room design is exceptionally functional and each detail is thought properly for its functionality and ultimately comfort. Staff is in general quite good and very helpful to accommodate my weird and demanding requests. The management runs the place very well, special mention to Jan and Mikael who often take things in their own hands. Gelderplain is simply an excellent location: safe, on top of a good shopping mall and 2 super market that include one of the largest Albert hein in the city. It is short bike distance from everything you need.

Lovely hotel near Amsterdam Zuid where we stayed for the night. Staff were pleasant and the room was great. It was spacious and had a nice large shower so I could wash away all the sins that this city had brought upon me. The included breakfast was also very nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the cheesiness of the scrambled eggs and the chicken sausages were truly impressive.

Checked in late at night and had an amazing service either way. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very spacious, almost like a small apartment. Only thing I would suggest is to offer complimentary water at the rooms or let you know in advance that there's no mini bar stock. Apart from that, we enjoyed our stay as we needed a nice hotel close to Schipol

Amazing staff and very clean place. Close to Amsterdam Zuid station which makes it very accessible while being in a quiet area. The shipping center below has everything one could need without having to go out in the cold. Would highly recommend.

Element is an outstanding and super clean hotel with friendly staff and delicious breakfast. It is perfectly located between the tourist areas of Amsterdam and the airport. I highly recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness, and location.

The room is comfortable with a small kitchen. Service has been great. It is near bus and tram lines that take one to train and subway lines

Beautiful modern hotel. With everything in it. Kitchen with everything you will need. A couch, dining tabel and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was also delicious. Front Deska was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely like to visit them again.

I really have to say that after having stayed I so many different hotels for so many years the element has become our favorite one. Is clean, great location, breakfast is so good and the staff in particularly Teeuw AWESOME. We will be coming back for sure and it is absolutely recommended.

Where do I begin? From the moment we walked into the lobby and were greeted genuinely by the people working there, we knew Twas going to be great. Our room 208 was superb. Amazing big comfy king bed, clean bathroom with amazing shower head, well equiped and clean kitchenette with everything needed to cook a meal in (which we did a few times), and to top it all off a buffet breakfast was included in the daily rates. You don’t get that at the Novotel. Staff members from the cleaning staff to the beautiful women in the dining room to the staff at the front desk were always smiling and always greeted us. As Lisa, one of the lovely front desk people said, ‘we like our job and are glad to be there’ and this obviously came across. We were in Amsterdam for 14 days insisting my son and we stayed elsewhere for the first 8 days then swapped over to this hotel for the final 6. Next time we will choose to stay here the entire time. Location is wonderful. Easy walk to Zuid station, Jumbo supermarket downstairs for groceries and plenty of restaurants and takeaway cafes if you don’t want to cook. The only unusual thing is that there is no power outlet in the bathroom which made shaving and hair drying tricky but we managed. Also the microwave is so high and being really short that was a challenge but overall this hotel earned a 5plus rating from me.

Tips: - the washer and dryer are 4€ each run and already includes soap. It accepts .50€ coins - the hotel is about 15 min walk from the train station - the hotel is connected to a mall with multiple super markets where you can easily get food or items. The studio hotel room is very nice and includes microwave, refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The manager and the staff are all very helpful.

I spent 30 nights here and I absolutely felt bad leaving, I'd totally love to comeback soon! This hotel is very nice, staff are friendly, gym is great, self laundry is very good, breakfast is awesome, room service is top notch, their choice of Lavazza for coffee is nice, and being part of Gelderlandplein makes it tempting for shopping. I just love it all around and recommend it.

Good stay and smooth check in, with the exception that many front desk staff seemed new and ill-prepared. Laundry was helpful. Location is convenient for staying in, but quite a far walk to the nearest hub at south station. Bonvoy status was honored.

Food and room were lovely. However I never received my 100 euro deposit back which all guests have to pay (not that it's stated when you book). Also 4 weeks later staying, my credit card is being used for transactions at the hotel totalling to 44 euros! No one to contact and awful customer service:/

I had a long stay at this property. They have amazing staff and spacious studios. This hotel is literally inside the mall Gelderlandplein. You have everything accessible here. From apparel, toys, home furnishings, gifts, eateries, supermarkets like Albert Heijn and Jumbo everything. Amstelpark is also walking distance from this place. Public transport like metro station(Amsterdam Zuid) is closeby. Tram connectivity is also good. This place is not very close to the center but it's well connected via tram and metro. If you prefer to bike, hotel also offers bike facility. This place also has a fully functional gym with technogym equipments which covers the entire range. They have laundry rooms and they also allow registration at this property. Overall I had a wonderful experience at this place with no complaints.

I stayed at the hotel for a long stay for work. I love it here, the rooms/studios are nice , with a kitchen and very convenient. The staff are very friendly, professionally trained and the food is good and the bar downstairs is very inviting. The gym is fully equipped and state-of-the-art, I would increase the ventilation during those times though. it's was a real pleasure to stay here, also the location is quite convenient and the fact of having a shopping mall downstairs makes life easier.

I had a very great stay with my friends! The hotel is located inside a shopping mall and rooms are big with a furnished kitchen. In this period of lockdown all bars and restaurants close quite early and it was very convenient to have a kitchen and the supermarket within walking distance. The staff is professional and friendly, thanks in particular to Lisa for giving us many tips to visit the city!
