Stayed there for a whole month and it was absolutely great! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a good young vibe and lovely decoration. Room is great and has everything you need, even a stove if you cook. Oh, there’s also an option to have a bike included in your package, which is great in Amsterdam. Recommend them 100%.

There are few minor details/inconveniences that casted a shadow on our stay, other than that great atmosphere, location and people. The inconveniences are as stated: - first week I stayed in a single room located in a larger multi-story building which is currently under renovation. Therefore the window was cover in a thick layer of construction dust which was honestly a very depressing look both during the day/night time. I get it, it’s for our own good but I would appreciate if you notify about this kinds of things in advance for a tiny room for a 120 euro per night. - second week I decided it would be a good idea to boost my experience living there on another level and upgraded myself to a king-suite. Which I must admit is much much better and located in another building (so no dust). But next day my breakfast (they were paid in advance for the whole stay) wasn’t logged so I had to pay for it and it took a few trips to administrators until they figured the problem. - and lastly my wife forgot a vintage poster in the room when we checked out and nobody responded to her letters :( Then there were things like I had to ask a few time for a soap and hangers until someone from the stuff brought it to us. I didn’t mean to highlight only negatives, you guys were helpful and kind and I really appreciate the whole ‘social’ atmosphere that was created there. Location is perfect, food both in the bar and in breakfast is great, coworking area is one of the best hotel areas I’ve ever seen. So I really appreciate all of those things it’s just I would actually like to see more responsible approach as well. P.S. And that someone will return the damn poster, we will pay for the shipment of course!

We passed by here with 2 friends and we have food with drinks at the bar/kitchen. Everything we ordered was very good! And the guys were so kind and lovely. The lobby is beautiful. We had so much fun playing pool and ping pong. Very nice atmosphere. I totally recommend!

This place is a total rip-off! False advertising at it's best...buyer beware! They claim that this is a social place so book a hotel room and participate in weekly events, network with other people etc. Total lie - the 'weekly event' is a Fri afternoon drinks only for their own staff. The 'network with others' is a billboard where you can put a post-it asking for others to contact you if interested - pathetic. The room itself wasn't too bad but the service is terrible! The night staff are hardly ever at their desks and are not empowered to help you with anything except of course, if you want to spend more money to buy snacks. One of these fellas was super rude and unhelpful. The price of the room is exorbitantly high for the service and facilities provided. There was no housekeeping or room service, night staff was barely present and nobody was able to help out with even basic asks. All in all, this has been my worst stay in a long time - value-wise and service-wise. There are 1000s of better options at the same price and even more so at cheaper prices. Do yourselves a favour and book somewhere else!

Mixed experience. The hotel has a great location next to the metro station. Staff was friendly. Unfortunately, the room was not only extremely small but also very dirty. During my two week stay, my room was properly cleaned two times only. Even after I had asked at the reception two days in a row for my room to be cleaned and sheets to be changed, it did not happen. I feel this is not suitable for a hotel labelled 4 stars.

Travelled with a group of 8, we arrived very early in the morning, around 1am. They have hotel staff 24/7 which was very convenient. Staff was very friendly and gave us some good recommendations for things to do in the city. They even helped us book a taxi to the airport for 4am. The rooms were very spacious and the bed was comfy. The hotel lobby vibe was amazing, lots of space to chill and hang out with friends, there’s even ping pong and billiards! This place is perfect for students or young people looking to make friends! Location is great, there’s a metro station right outside the hotel. I would definitely book here again if I return to Amsterdam!

This is a great hotel if you don't mind being 4 metro stops (8-min ride) away from Centraal station and the noise and crowds in the touristic canals area. The deluxe queen room we had was great, very roomy, very quiet, and the bed was big and very comfortable (although I didn't like the square pillows). Cleanliness was great, daily housekeeping was perfect, and the breakfast was very nice. There's a supermarket across the street and around the corner, the metro station is practically right outside the hotel front door, and plenty of good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. I highly recommend this place.

    - Stayed there for business - Stayed there 2 times so far Love it :) I really love this hotel ! It has a very friendly vibes, a lot of infrastructures and services, a ping pong table available 24/7, and the rooms are comfy. Plus it sits right in top of the metro, but you also can easily park your car just behind the hotel. I do enjoy it in a professional way but I also stayed there once with my boyfriend and it was just as nice. Can't wait for my next business trip :)

Stayed here for a week and was quite pleased with the facility and staff. The room was ample and very clean. It was also very quiet (welcomed after reading reviews of other places with thin walls). The hotel itself is bustling with activity and has a very young vibe. Room keys are needed for stairway/elevator access. The staff are what truly made it a great stay though. They all seem genuinely interested in making sure that guests have everything they need and are enjoying their stay. It is a 1/2 block walk to the Metro station and maybe a 10-15 minute trip to Central Station - very convenient! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. Pro-tip: If staying here for more than a couple of days, get the coffee club membership on day one! It's well worth it! :)

Centrally located, excellent service from the staff. The breakfast is a bit expensive but it's very nice. I really had to pinch myself a few times. This place is just so modern and easy to stay in. We did have some trouble in the first night with our bathroom shower - the water didn't drain properly and the bathroom flooded. But the staff were quick to fix this without us needing to change rooms. Only downside of this place was probably the air conditioner, which didn't really keep things cool at night or during the day.

One of the best hotel experience in Amsterdam. All is perfect. From the room to the ambiance to the social activities provided. U can rent a bike all day and also is perfectly located near a metro station. And half an hour far from the airport. So for young and less young audience a perfect experience. The social hub is a perfect solution.

Very nice and modern hotel, with lovely staff and big and comfortable rooms. They are really kind and nice! Well located, 20 minutes walking to the centre of the town and underground accesses really near.

Great, fun and convenient hotel. Lots of young people, big rooms, enough area to Work. Not a fancy but a hip place to stay. Would recommend for work-party-easygoing stay location.

The location is great: -Safe area -Very close to the subway entrance with convenient access to the M54 line -Close enough to the city center (15 minutes or less all-in) but far enough away to not be bothered by the noise. The lobby staff is very helpful, friendly, and fluent in English. The restaurant staff is ok. Breakfast is good and accommodates dietary restrictions. Rooms are clean & nice enough but a bit overpriced considering there is not a mini fridge in a deluxe king something.

A+ for the extra helpful staff. Funky yet practical decor throughout the hotel. Just a 5-10 minute walk from De Pijp. A gem of an area. The only slight quibble I have with the hotel is bathroom size, which is a little cramped, but otherwise perfect.

Facilities are quite big. It includes a restaurant/bar, a gym, and spots to work on the lobby floor. Rooms are kept very simple. It can be hard to keep a steady temperature. Breakfast is kept simple. Wifi is working very well. Self check in and check out is available in the lobby. Staff is friendly.

The pictures on the website are 100% accurate. The hotel is located right next to the metro which made getting around the city very quick. Easy to get in and out of the hotel with a stroller, large elevators. They had a pack-and-play crib that was available for use. The rooms were clean, spacious and bed was modestly comfortable, a bit firm. We bid $75 ok and upgrade and won a studio suite. The studio site has a microwave, fridge and hot plate for cooking. The coffee shop inside sells a lot of snacks and goodies. Rated 4/5 for service because the phone in the room didn’t work, there weren’t any wash cloths and other guests were given a welcome drink but we weren’t. Overall great value and space for the price. I would stay here again and recommend to friends.

Aside from the perfect location, great facilities and rooms the staff of the hotel were excellent. Upon arrival my room was ready 3 hours before check in, and they let us in the room which was very big. Throughout the duration of our stay they were very helpful with making recommendations for restaurants and things to do that weren’t the touristic basics. The location of the student hotel is perfect as it’s right next to a metro stop that’s a few minutes from the central station, it’s also opposite a big Albert Heijn supermarket which has everything you need. The atmosphere of the hotel is also great for people who enjoy the student life. Even though i stayed as a hotel guest i got to mingle with some of the students who were very welcoming and polite. They offer an amazing experience for both hotel guests and students looking for accommodation. Highly recommended.

A bit studentesk and the room was a little basic but very very comfortable. Breakfast was also amazing, and made up for the basic elements of the room. I think the worst part of the room was the carpet and blinds were a little tired but I genuinely had the best night sleep ever and the staff were very friendly!

Clean, nicely designed room, reception and cafe. Right next to a metro station which cost us around €1.60 to get to the central station. Good price too, will book again

The lobby is great, lively and cool in the hot summer days. Our room was very hot 🔥🥵 even though there is a air conditioner. It seems that it doesn't work at all. It's a little bit depressing and basic. The shower 🚿needs another door/ glass to prevent the water into the washroom. The service is pretty quick and nice. They clean the room every other day which I think it's enough. The location is not very close to the city center but manageable. The coffee at the lobby is closed in the weekend,so make sure to either get the breakfast included if you have an activity like a museum booked early as the other cafes around open at 9 am, too.

The hotel is a bit far from the main touristic attractions, but close to the subway station. The atmosphere of the hotel is nice with good facilities. The room itself was simple, but clean, comfortable and spacious, with everything needed in the bathroom. Definitely good value for money!

The hotel rooms are very hot, they have an eco-friendly pledge and part of that is having weak air conditioning that won’t let you turn the coldness beyond a certain setting. I was sweating buckets in my room and couldn’t sleep. Eco friendly is fine but don’t go so extreme that it’s at the expense of comfort, especially for 280 euros a night

Very nice hotel indeed. People working there are always smiling and ready to help you. The cost is fair. Services such as the bicycles and the free table tennis are really good. I recommend!

I loved my stay here, I even extended my stay for a couple of extra nights. The rooms are very spacious with plenty of storage and a safe. The wifi was very good. There was a great selection of food at breakfast. The people who worked there were very friendly and very helpful with any issues I had. The metro is only a minute away so it was really easy to get into the centre of Amsterdam or it was fairly easy to walk. The only thing I would note is there wasn't really any opportunities to meet other travelers.

Not as cheap as someone would expect from a student hotel, but worth every cent. We‘ve been there twice and it is always special. So many thoughtful things all over the hotel, it is definitely something else. Nothing fancy, but still unique. Parking is easy (charged extra), personnel is helpful. Easy recommendation.

The most amazing stay. Breakfast was fabulous. The room clean and large. Most importantly the staff here are the most helpful and kind of any hotel I've stayed. Laundry was free too. Will always stay here when I come.

It is very beautiful place, friendly reception of the staff and excellent hospitality. They need to improve the furniture in the rooms and to have more affordable prices for students.

This hotel is amazing, we had a really great time. I give 10 out of 10 :D I would recommend to everyone to stay there, very clean and nice room. 👌

The staff super friendly and nice, the hotel architecture looks pretty cool inside, but unfortunately I haven’t felt safe at all during my stay: our room was not clean at all - I had to clean it by myself because I didn’t wanted to let someone else to enter the room during Corona times. The same situation in the lobby, the chairs, tables, working space, elevator, everything was dirty, oily. Super bad experience, unfortunately. Good things: large rooms, working spaces, free laundry and dry, gym.

Amazing vibe, also the hotel staff are very attentive when it comes to the safety of their guests which, as a solo female traveller, is very important to me. Great place to stay if you're working and travelling at the same time, the WiFi connection is very strong and they have loads of work spaces if you don't want to stay stuck in your room

  • 5/5 Henrique C. 2 years ago on Google
Good accommodations and nice student vibe! There is always something happening downstairs in front of the building, students chilling and great meet up place.

I did stay here a few years ago and my experience was great! The hotel was awesome, interior design was really cool and the staff was very friendly. Nearby you can easily reach anything with the tube station underground or visit shops nearby on foot. Also there are some nice restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store just across the street which has everything you could need. I will always love to come back here again for my next trip!

I only stayed one night in this hotel but was very pleased. The hotel is huge and our room was quite spacious. There was a Nespresso with several capsules and teas, and a good, fast hair dryer in the room. The location is a bit outside the center, but having stayed in Amsterdam several times already, I found this rather convenient — the location is much quieter and the metro station is 2 minutes away, so that you can easily get to the city. There's parking for 12€ with a charger for electrical cars. We didn't use the common rooms, but they are definitely a plus. I would totally come back here and absolutely recommend the place
