I would recommend this hotel for an Amsterdam mini break. It’s only a 10/15 minute tram ride from the city centre so an easy base and quiet at night. We paid around £340 including city tax for a 3 night break for 2 people which was much cheaper than anywhere central and it’s nicer than any other hotel I’ve stayed at for that price. We didn’t try the restaurant so can’t comment on the food but the roof terrace was lovely and the views from the bar were great. I wished they didn’t have such loud pumping club music on the roof at all times, even 10am, it ruined the atmosphere a bit and also there are no lights or heaters up there so it’s dead after sunset which seems a waste! The view from our room was spectacular, two walls had floor to ceiling windows the whole way across. It was nice and clean, plenty of space for two with a big shower. No proper toiletries though only an all in one hand wash/shampoo/shower gel. Bigger towels would be appreciated. We booked the deluxe queen room although it was two single beds pushed together which made it much bigger than queen sized. However the middle of the bed where they joined was such a dip we kept rolling into a pit, it was quite difficult to climb up hill to reach the edge of the bed and made my back ache. Also the bed didn’t have a headboard which was annoying as you can’t sit up in bed and pillows slide about.

Whoever said sound proof rooms, yeah absolutely not. At 1 am we were woken up because the people in the next room were slamming absolutely everything. If you want your room clean they will not unless you ask for it , they only do it at every 3rd stay. Picture added of what I mean. But otherwise, room was perfect great great location and that view was incredible. The tram is right down the street with 10min away from Center City ,a park next door perfect if you have children. Breakfast was amazingggg its a buffet style so nobody to bother you , which we enjoyed. Gentlemen was extremely sweet and staff we did encounter super friendly. We did eat at the restaurant it was good "hotel food" but glad we only did it once and ate out the other days. It was overpriced but again "hotel food" but one and dine kinda of experience so no complaints. Disappointed with no bartender for drinks on a Sunday and the roof bar was really really sad , I'm hoping it was just off season because the pictures are definitely not what we saw when there. Overall, we would definitely stay again. Parking is expensive wish it was included in the stay with 25€ a day but again the location of the hotel was perfect!!

Lovely room for myself and my friends. Olia at the desk was brilliant, she told us about the shuttle bus to and from the airport, approx €9 each for a 15 minute journey which is much better than the €50 we paid to get a taxi to the hotel. Room was lovely, very clean and tidy with plenty of space too.

i was really impressed by every employee we came into contact here. Everyone was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond. Even tho we had to ask twice for towels, the kindness of the staff more than made up for any frustrations. The breakfast was incredible and the view from the restaurant was unforgettable. Rooms are small, but that’s Europe. Location is not close to the city center, but it is a short walk to the metro. Would stay here again!

My experience at Leonardo Hotels was incredible. Habiba the guest relations and community manager went above and beyond to ensure that everything was well planned and coordinated with the birthday package I ordered. She did everything to make our stay perfect, and we will definitely be staying here again during our next visit to Amsterdam!

So far the best hotel we stayed in Amsterdam. Unbelievable view from the room and also from the rooftop. Breakfast which was included was good but nothing special. With public transportation it is easy to reach city center within 15 minutes. One of the most pleasant stays we had!

I loved this hotel nice quality hotel with polite and informative staff. Very comfortable room and bed, breakfast very good with city views. 6 good lifts to upper floors. Loved the sauna. The 13 tram opposite the hotel into Amsterdam was excellent and only took 15 minutes. The airport shuttle service was excellent value @ €7.50 each way. I would highly recommend this hotel

Stayed here for 3 nights in August. The location was fantastic, with the tram stop being a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room was ok, basic but works. Cleaning could have been better, as when we came there was some rubbish under the bed (presumably from the previous guest) Shower gel/shampoo was not well stocked. But- the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast buffet was good. The fried eggs were cold despite being on a hot plate, so I would feedback this to the kitchen, to improve on keeping hot food hot. But the variety of food and quality overall was good. I would recommend this hotel purely for location and variety at the breakfast buffet. But some improvements in cleaning and breakfast service would improve things further.

It’s a very nice hotel. Our room was clean and had a really nice view to the park. There was not so much space but it worked for us. We stayed there for 5 days. The lobby was also very nice , cozy and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel was great ! The tram is in front of the hotel and since it was rainy all 5 days we used it a lot . The park in front of the hotel is beautiful and it is worth a walk or a ride with a bicycle. They have also a shuttle bus service from the airport to the hotel and from hotel to the airport . Very useful! The bus driver was very friendly and nice! 4 stars because the room was not warm enough. The air conditioner didn’t worked properly and the solution was offered, was to bring us a heater. After that, all good with the temperature in the room, but we had to call multiple times to get that job done and we waited more than 20 min on the phone to speak with the manager ( we already talked to the receptionist 2 or 3 times before) . After a long rainy and cold day in the city I prefer to have a room with a properly working air conditioner. The second reason is the behavior of the lady who welcomed us at the bar. We visited the bar on the top of the hotel and that lady said it was all booked and there is no place for us. She said we had to make a reservation first. We explained that we are costumers of the hotel etc but she insisted. The funny part was that the place was almost empty. 5 min later I asked the bar Manager I think and he offered us a place immediately. For the story: I never saw who has booked the whole bar, because we were not more than 20 people there that night.

A very nice, modern and clean hotel with a great view, location and helpful staff . It is a 2 minute walking distance to the tram station, with a modern designed spacious rooms. I enjoyed my stay there and will definitely select it for my future visits to Amsterdam

Great room with a good view of Amsterdam. Easy transport links to different parts of the city, and a lovely park just across the road. Good quality breakfast served from the 17th floor, and a direct shuttle to the airport (which is cheaper than public transport would be).

Overall a great stay in a lovely hotel. First off the breakfast is amazing and sets you up for the day. The choice is varied and the omelette was a daily favourite. The sauna was nice to come back to but the steam room was not working while we were there, which is a shame as I prefer steam. Clean and quiet area so 9/10. The house keeping was ok. My husband celebrated a birthday while there and a cake was delivered to our room but it remained there for 2 days even though we asked for it to be removed. Also we both don't drink coffee so it wasn't to our liking but it was the thought that counted. Lovely reception staff, always helpful and cheerful. Train station directly outside. Will definately return.... But in summer💜

The hotel is quite good. The rooms are great, and the breakfast is delicious. You can enjoy a stunning view of the city from the hotel, and the convenient location near a train and bus stop makes it easy to get around. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle service to the airport, making it a greater and cheaper choice for travelers. However, I think that the customer service could be improved.

The hotel is in a really unique location, as you can see the city from an elevated position. The rooftop is a really special place, and the restaurant below offers a real fine dinning experience. The rooms were sizable, given the standards of amsterdam. Really enjoyed my stay, and the staff were always welcoming. would always recommend

I stayed here for 4 days and was pleased with the stay overall. The staff are very friendly, hospitable, the hotel is clean. The room was fairly spacious, good amount of lighting, lovely bathroom. There is a fridge in the room, which I was excited about, but it did not really work. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in, the bedding was fresh and clean. The location of the hotel is great, the tram stop is just about 5mins walk, and the tram only takes about 13mins to get to the central areas with all the main attractions. There are a few grocery shops nearby, which is convenient to get some food. The shuttle service is great, you can book a transfer to the airport for a decent price (unless you're travelling with a bigger group - private hire may be cheaper)

We had the most lovely stay, Thomas on the reception was just so funny and so nice he was super helpful, the location of the hotel is perfect the tram is right outside the hotel and they are every few minutes. The Rooms are so comfy and cosy and the perfect size for 2 people, we did so many activities that were so close to the hotel which helped with the weather(not too bad just a bit cold and windy)

This is a hotel that appears 4* but has the service of a hostel. On the plus side, the rates are reasonable for Amsterdam and it is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood near a tram stop and a park. The rooms look modern, the bar/restaurant has a view, and there is a small gym with a sauna. To the minus side, we had to replace our room keys 4 times in 6 days because they continually stopped working. Rooms are small and no functional ventilation in the bathroom. The 7-days-a-week restaurant randomly closed for a day. Phone calls to the front desk were often unanswered and they would refuse to bring you anything, forcing you to go down to the front desk to get it. The airport shuttle costs extra and they don't take cash. And, most obnoxiously, their 24/7 cafe was not 24/7 because their late night staff is too lazy to sell you anything from it. I asked for a manager and was told that the lazy staffer was the manager and that was "end of discussion." Who talks to customers like that?! The low-level staffers were all friendly but it is clear that the people who manage the hotel don't know how to run a nice hotel, or perhaps just don't care to.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights and decided to go for a hotel for the comfort instead of an hostel. The reception staff was friendly but you could immediately feel that the hotel was saving costs in as many ways as possible which isn't what you expect for a 4* hotel. The room barely fit both of us and our cabin bags, if you have larger bags you might need to upgrade for more comfort. It was clean and kept and the bedding was decent. With the storage space available, it definitely isn't made for longer stays. You could also see some ripping on the wallpapers and scratches in the shower paint. The shower set up is a little disturbing to be honest. All in all, it is a decent hotel but the 4* rating might be over estimating. As a mobility coordinator for my company, this hotel won't be on my top list in the future.

Nice hotel, clean and spacious room. Great choice at the breakfast buffet. Not as central as I usually stay, have to get the tram. Tram stop is about a two minute walk - 8 stops to Dam. Cute rooftop bar with beautiful views of Amsterdam.! Park across the road with both walking and cycling paths. Staff are very accommodating. Shower could have had a bit more power.! Overall a great stay..

The place is beautiful but location is rather inconvenient even for nearby conventions (you need to use the tram that is not so close). Service can improve for a hotel of this category. The restaurant is always full for dinner or breakfast. For dinner better eat outside or use the apps to order food.

Friendly service, very spacious, clean, and comfortable room, and the AC works too which is a plus because (some hotels in the EU still refuse to use AC now) hotel located 15 minutes away from the Dam via tram. Only 3 minutes walking distance to the tram station. A basement carpark is provided for €30 per day/night for hotel guests. There is P+R around the hotel too. Restaurants, supermarkets, and a park are within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Love this hotel, have stayed here many times with my wife and we love it. The location in perfect, right in Rembrandt park, about a 15 min bike ride to Amsterdam centre and shopping areas. The staff here are amazing, very friendly, kind and always willing to help. They just want to say hi and see how your day is going. The breakfast is a huge selection and is very well put out. The lounge on the roof (highest rooftop lounge in Amsterdam) has an amazing view of Amsterdam. Would highly recommend staying here. The room is comfy and if you get the suite it has 2 huge corner windows with great views of the park.

Hotel is well placed for easy tram access to the city and the breakfast was good. Other than that I felt there was little to recommend it and you'd probably get better value elsewhere. I would describe the place as "just about satisfactory". It is an incredibly boring large hotel that didn't really represent good value for money.

Clean, comfortable, quiet, great shower and good wifi. Paid parking is steep at 15 EUR per day (but still cheaper than street parking). Standard room is very small and bed design is slightly odd as it misses a headboard but this might be a modern design feature with benefits that I don't understand...

Wonderful hotel with a great staff. Booked a room with a city view and loved it. Everything in regards to your safety is practiced: COVID-19 precautionary measures, access hotel only with room key or calling Reception Desk, thorough cleaning, etc. Located next to the lovely Rembrandt Park, with the #13 Tram just outside of the hotel to take you directly to Centraal Station makes it a great base to start or end your day. The 3 course meal we had ordered was delicious, and the entire staff was fantastic! And the view from Floor 17 was gorgeous at night - can't wait until they're able to have events up there again to make our stay even more memorable the next time we're there. Many Thanks for the delightful stay!

All staff have been incredibly friendly, the room is lovely and the location is great. Easy to access the tram from outside the hotel straight into the city centre. Easy walking distance from a LIDL. Can rent bikes in reception. Very pleasant stay.

Wooow what a amazing experience! 👏 our room view was breathtaking. Hats off to the staff members especially the dinner service and breakfast was absolutely marvelous. 💯 Thanks again everyone for a lovely time! Happy New Year! We'll be back😉

It’s a nice hotel but just overpriced for what it offered. The bed is not really comfortable, and your pillow will constantly slip away because the bed lacks a headboard. It also simply lacks in amenities in the bathroom and those nice details that should be there if you pay 100€ a night for a small room. The room also just seemed outdated and lived down. Parking was also insanely expensive at 25€ a day. If you need to park, use the parkbee lane just outside. Breakfast was good though :)

I've really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The view is amazing, room was very comfortable with spacious bathroom and huge bed. There was also a capsule coffee machine in the room. Room for improvement: our room was not ready on time. Desk employee confirmed it's ready by calling room service, but when we arrived to the door, there were still cleaning ladies. Hint: you can try ordering a pet fish in a bowl as extra service. This sounds fun for kids or people who stay alone (business trip?), however it was not available during my visit.

Really nice Hotel. Rooms are neat and clean, hotel is well maintained. Staff is really good, cooperative and humble. Location is also good not too far from central. On tram stop so no need of too much walking. Not at all costly. Rooftop is something to experience. Breakfast has limited options, but overall it’s beautiful experience.

Had an excellent stay here - room was clean, staff were friendly. had the room decorated for a birthday and it was lovely. Loved the views and it was very handy to the tram. there was also a petting zoo across the road which is free of charge so great for kids Only one small comment - A staff member did stop someone from using the disabled toilet and was told it was a staff toilet, made to go up a floor. Not all disabilities are visible and therefore this can be quite embarrassing for people who need to use that one. Since this was only one staff member I don't think it should mark the hotel down

We've stayed here for 2 days and loved it! Would totally recommend and if I were to come back, I'd book this hotel as well. Welcomed by the most friendly staff, probably the kindest and most professional I ever encountered. Very close to the tram, only 15 mins to the city centre. The view from the hotel was amazing and added to the experience. One of the best hotels in Amsterdam.

  • 5/5 Ben G. 1 year ago on Google
We had a very easy check in and it is a great hotel, the rooms are very comfy. There was a slight issue with our toilet making a loud noise, we asked at the hotel reception to get it checked as we went out for the afternoon. Upon our return the issue was not resolved, however, this was around midnight and so when I explained this situation to the receptionist, Sadjaad, he happily helped out and found us another room to stay in for our last night. Would definitely recommend for stay in Amsterdam

For a 4* hotel is good. The rooms are perfect, not too small and you have iron as well, no fridge though but you have ice machine on some floors. The bar and the restaurant at the roof top are nice with an amazing view. A bit overpriced drinks (7.5 euro for a pint...London prices!) considering that you are not in the city center.

  • 3/5 Colin H. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely Hotel, really nice staff on the 17th Floor, (breakfast and bar areas) and also at reception. Nothing was a problem for them. Only issue we had in our five night stay was the maintenance of our room (we did complete the cleaning form request). When reported to the front desk, it was fixed immediately. A change in this area would certainly improve things.

A great hotel! It's a bit outside of the city, but there are many tram stops within minutes of a nice easy walk. Also a lot of restaurants and shopping. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They happily gave me tips on where to go and how to get there. The restaurant and bar are wonderful. You really can't beat the view and their drinks are to die for! This has become my go to for a hotel in Amsterdam.

We stayed first weekend of 2023 in rooms 1214 & 1217. All I can say that from start to finish the service from the hotel staff was amazing. So polite, attentive and very welcoming. The beds were comfortable and provided us with such great sleep. It’s an easy base to get around Amsterdam and is close to many food places and local shops. Definite recommendation!

  • 4/5 Natalie C. 9 months ago on Google
Rooms are clean and the view of the park was great. Staff were wonderful and incredibly sweet to let us check in early after a full day of traveling. The space is efficient and the location near the tram line was a huge win. Glad for the shuttle from the airport, but wish there was more communication ahead of time about the cost - or more clarity on how to pay. Would recommend for short stays or overnight from the airport.

Staff, very competent, kind smiling, welcoming and helpful. We were welcomed very warmly. This establishment is clean close to all and quiet. Tramway night market kebab nearby! Everything was perfect. Thanks again to Abdul and Tristan who enhanced my stay. I wish you only happiness.❤️

Great location just outside the city centre. Tram located just outside. Rooms are perfect and comfortable. Rooftop bar and restaurant have amazing views and even better food. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The community manager, Habiba, was lovely and so helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
