I arrived early for check-in, and the front desk team was outstanding and accommodated me. I was greeted and checked in by Melania, the most beautiful girl in Holland, and the front desk manager. What a gentleman. My stay was absolutely wonderful, from the breakfast to the room itself. Definitely will be back.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless it's particularly cheap. The hotel isn't grand in any way, everything about it is very average. The design and interior decoration is quite dated now, lots of wood everywhere and just generally nothing exciting, quite boring. The room was okay. Fairly sized and I guess most importantly it was sufficiently clean which is always pleasant. Unfortunately the AC isn't very good and I went during peak summer so that wasn't the best. Also, the fridge isn't very cold and also hard to open. There was no socket beside the bed which is quite inconvenient. There's a lack of towels in the bathroom. The bed sheets were quite small for a hotel, they're usually massive. It does the job and you won't hate it but it's absolutely nothing to remember.

The location for me is phenomenal. Because it’s farther away from tourist areas and it’s still close enough if you want that. IHG status acknowledged and rewarded with upgrade to suite. Amsterdam South station is right there so you needn’t worry about transportation to anywhere in the Netherlands, or Europe…. The hotel is very modern and minimalistic. It has everything you need: nice bed, bathtub, shower, gym with great equipment. The hotel caters more towards Asian guests, which is great, business district, clean, conservative yet stylish, clean, no weird people around, shampoo and soap in the bathroom smells like fresh ginger… nice touch… They also have bicycle rental available: 19 Euro for one day, 15 Euro for every subsequent day afterwards. Bicycle is excellent quality. This whole experience reminds me of when I lived in Shanghai years ago… Thank you.

Love the hotel, its so easy to get to from the airport and is so centrally located in the business district. The staff are super helpful and really make your stay hassle free. Nice bar and funky restaurant but there are so many places to eat and drink locally.

Good location and service. However, it never is ok to not have toilet brushes in hotel rooms. I don't care about new safety and hygiene regulations. Travelling with your new boyfriend to Amsterdam, the last thing you want is that he sees your skid marks. I spend my mornings with my hand in the bowl to clean it with toilet paper. At some point I even considered to sacrifice my tooth brush.

I read reviews before stayed but I didn’t read anyone speaking about the asian restaurant in the hotel. I went for a company event for 2 days and I was forced to eat the same spicy dishes x2. Apart from that some waitress asking me all the time where to serve gluten free food even after repetition. The room was cold and asked for a blanked to add on my bed and they only had a second small duvet for a double bed. At the end I couldn’t use it since it was too heavy! I asked for a straightener for my hair and they don’t have. The decorations in the room was anti relax: Historical pictures with old business men on it. The bed was comfortable, the table has a glass which was not clean, same for the bath, I fillet it with hot water and there were small hair on it

Lovely hotel in a quiet area but close enough to some lively spots. Walking distance to the train which is so handy for getting to the airport and of course the more entertaining spots of Amsterdam. Also the self service shop at the reception is so so handy 👌 any midnight snacks or drinks you need can be found here 👍I enjoyed my stay here even though ironically the Heineken tap was empty the one time I really wanted a pint 🤣 but the bottle did the job 👍

Quiet location. A bit tucked away. But everything is nearby so travelling from the hotel is great. But service was superb and all staffs were very respectful and helpful. The room I booked not too expensive, especially when the room itself was decent quality. Bathroom had a walkin shower and was great, clean too. Don't know if hairdryer was meant to be provided but didn't get one, so just in case you should bring one of your own. Otherwise most definitely enjoyed my stay. Would recommend.

Stayed here for the Amsterdam Marathon, which is very convenient. Lovely hotel, comfortable beds, modern bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Great selection of buffet hot and cold breakfast including a omelet station. Clean hotel with friendly service, would highly recommend staying here.

We have just returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Amsterdam South. Great IHG diamond status recognition, we felt very welcome and enjoyed the chocolate! The club lounge had conveniently long opening hours, the happy hour (5-7pm) with bitterballen and drinks took place at the hotel bar, which had a nice touch to it. While breakfast in the lounge was not too impressive (regarding selection), the breakfast manager certainly more than made up for it. She was amazing and very hospitable. The room itself was solid: comfortable king bed, everything was clean and in very good condition. We enjoyed the Ritual products in the bathroom. We can fully recommend this property and will definitely come again!

I enjoyed my stay at this business hotel. It is relatively expensive, but the room was good size and well furnished. Comfortable bed with choice of pillows. The breakfast was very good (but not included). The location for the VU and business district is convenient.

Pretty good hotel. Breakfast is very good and rooms are comfortable. BIG improvements made to the gym recently (shout out to the new trainer). Looking forward to my next stay to see the next evolution of it!

Good 4 star hotel, pretty standard Crowne Plaza and as you would expect from this chain. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was ok, but a few minor items broken like soap holder. Good location in the South business district, 2 min walk from the Sud station which takes you in to the centre of Amsterdam in 8 min. Overall good and I would definitely stay again.

Great, business-like and quiet hotel. The rooms are spacious, very well equipped. The bed is big and comfortable with a selection of different pillows. This, together with the fact that the surroundings of the hotel is very quite will guarantee a good night sleep. Exactly what you want after a long day. The breakfast is great. Staff if very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back!

Nice and cozy hotel at a very convenient location. The Amsterdam Zuid station is a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms and the staff are well mannered. The room size is a little small but is standard as per the usual pricing in Amsterdam. Good basic breakfast options and the coffee to go was very convenient.

Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is fair. Hotel restaurant has delicious asian food. Location is in the outskirts of Amsterdam but it's just 10 minutes by Metro, while the station is very close to the hotel!

Good reasonable priced hotel. Rooms are clean and modern. Staff are friendly. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast. There is also a restaurant, small bar, shop and gym.

The hotel which I regularly stay at when I visit Amsterdam for work. Very good 4 star hotel which is only 1 train stop away from airport. Very good service on the whole, but do require encouragement to upgrade IHG diamond members to better room classes. Thumbs up to Patricio (Night Manager).

From the time we arrived everyone was so welcoming. However Claudia provided exceptional servicewas so helpful and friendly and we enjoyed wonderful conversations about your beautiful city and we spoke to her about things in the United States. She called a cab when we needed and kept us informed of when it would arrive. We have traveled many places around the world but never received such courtesy. Another wonderful experience I had was in the bar a female bartender noticed I was having pain in my shoulders from the long flight. She came over and massaged my neck and shoulders better than any massage I'd ever had before. I don't remember her name but she went above and beyond her duty. If we are ever in Amsterdam again we will definitely stay here. Oh the rooms and everything were very clean.

Would expect far better service from a four-star hotel. The hotel is close to the airport and metro station and we had a decent stay until housekeeping threw away a bunch of things from my room that were no way near the trash can (and by no means trash). The hotel refused to compensate me for it nor take responsibility and told me to contact my insurance company. If you stay here, put your belongings in the safe before you leave your room!!

The only negative thing we had was at check-in, the receptionist asked us to pay the tax and then we showed her the invoice (we paid everything incl. all taxes) then we waited till her manager checked the invoice. Again, at the check-out they asked for the same tax and we showed again the invoice. The hotel is very unique, the rooms are big and well decorated. My room was on the eighth floor with a beautiful view. There is a bar where you can watch football matches, a restaurant and a mini market. The location of the hotel is great, near to Amsterdam south train station.

Great hotel with friendly staff. IHG platinum member recognition could be improved but a room upgrade was provided. The hotel is just 10 minutes away from the center by subway and is in calm and peaceful area. Plus it’s not so far away from the the airport, so if you have a early flight, it’s definitely not bad. Rooms are spacious and clean.

Staff went over the top. Checked in with tired kids. Annette, Wendy and front desk help to sort out rooms and beds. Short staffed by COVID, the admin were busy cleaning rooms to make it happen. Really appreciated all the efforts. Family room is huge and luxurious bathroom.

Lovely clean room with some good complimentary necessities and water. There was the option to not have the room cleaned daily to help the environment and in return you get some points which I liked. Little biscuits and tea left in the room were lovely but weren't replenished each day. Huge bath and lovely strong shower. My room was warm enough but in true hotel style, was very drying so make sure you take some eye drops and a good moisturiser.

Loved our stay here. Easy to transit to metro. We stayed in a suite between the Christmas/ New Year Holiday & the room was still decorated for Christmas. Easy access to great Pan-Asian restaurant restaurant downstairs. The Club access on the 2nd floor was a nice getaway with a toddler. Angela in the Club lounge was wonderful. All of their employees were just super friendly & very helpful with an excited 3 year old. Tim & Valentina were very patient & and helpful, which made the stay so much more enjoyable after a long day exploring in the city. When we come back to Amsterdam we will definitely stay here. The German restaurant was also wonderful & I highly recommend calling & getting a reservation if you like good food, great beer, & exceptional service!

👍👍 I’m recommending to visit that tower to everybody who is visiting Amsterdam city. Super place if you want to see entire city from the sky. Tickets are around 15 euros. 😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
