As if you were staying in a student dormitory. At night you hear only the knocking of doors, laughter and noises. Distance from the center is acceptable -40 minutes by public transport 7 or 369. Breakfast is a varied buffet. The room is cleaned daily, towels are changed and fed toiletries.

Was very sceptical when I first seen the hotel. The outside is old and looks like a run down apartment block, but the inside is a lot better. Rooms are great, shower is great, beds are some of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve slept in. Staff are amazing and no request was too much. Lost a star because every evening a group of youths on mopeds, scooters and cars etc gather at the back of the hotel and make loads of noise and make it feel quite unsafe at times. However, it’s a 20 minute tram ride to the city with lovely walks and views on the way. Would definitely stay again, but would as for a room towards the front.

It's not a great place for easy of getting to. No 17 tram to get there plus a 10-minute walk. Right out of the way. Basic rooms. Bar 1300-1700 Then, vending machines. Staff were good. But I'd definitely look for a different hotel, closer to the centre. Bit of a mixture of a hostel with a basic hotel. It's rated at 3 stars, but I think that's being very generous. It's more like a 2 star, I would imagine. Photo of our rear view. Thought we were in soviet Russia

This hotel is horrible. When we arrived, we entered a dirty room. We found hair and crumbs of chips on our night stand. Our windows didn’t close properly why it was very cold at night. The breakfast was also not very pleasant. Fruit from cans, cheap pastries and a very small selection in general. The bread was not baked through. The outside area is hideous as well. We would not recommend to stay in this hotel if you want to enjoy your stay in Amsterdam.

Very nice staff. Helpful and cheerful. I had a simple room, but it was cozy and well designed. They made a dinner special for us (normally they only serve breakfast) and everything was done perfectly. Great hotel, great price. Next to public transport. 10/10 would recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE! WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD! We stayed here from the 15th of December for 3 nights, and it was a complete disaster. Myself and 3 other members of the group got bed bugs which meant we could not go out for 2 of the 3 nights due to how many bites we had and how uncomfortable we were. On top of this they took over £200 from my card without my permission and although have accepted they made an error have yet to refund me the money. We also found loads of rubbish between the beds including used condoms. They changed our room as they acknowledged it was bed bugs, and we got further bites despite the room change. The manager has refused to refund us or give us any form of compensation. In fact offered us 15% off our next stay despite saying they do not believe the bed bugs came from their hotel via email after we left (despite us only staying there) - like we would ever stay there again. Further reviews below confirm bed bugs with other guests. DO NOT STAY HERE HONESTLY.

This is the most disappointing hotel I have ever stayed in. We were assigned a room near the game room, where guests played loudly until 2 in the night, making sleep almost impossible. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the staff, I was simply told that they could do nothing and no other room was available. I had booked for four nights at a cost of 750 euros, and the quality of the stay absolutely did not reflect this price. The hotel was lacking in many respects; our room was dirty, the heating made a constant and disturbing noise, and the lack of storage was a notable problem. The breakfast served was also very mediocre. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and I cannot recommend this hotel.

Overall stayroom not clean and charged an additional fee to check in slightly early which I have never been charged anywhere else. Bathroom was dirty and only a half of a pillow sized pillow on the beds. Only 2 small towels provided per person. Staff were unhelpful and rude to my daughter and her friend. They seemed to have an attitude and a tone when speaking. Also after asking reception about a taxi app they recommended Uber which we used several times but I ended with 5 trips being cancelled for no apparent reason and paid via Apple Pay which has not been refunded to date. I would not recommend staying here if you would like a clean hotel and friendly staff!! I would suggest some staff training in customer service!!!

Staff friendly and helpful. Stayed on first floor in a room next to elevators. There was some noise because of this but not bad enough to complain. The room was a little run down. However, it was clean. The staff spoke English and German which was great. You can buy a train ticket at the front desk. Did not have the breakfast, seemed too expensive. Location was a bit interesting. Not the best location because of neighborhood but we parked our car in their free parking lot and nothing bad happened to the car! So it was reasonably safe. Closest tram station was like 10 min walk away. McDonalds and Aldi are like 15 mins away. You get what you pay for so it was not the best hotel but did the job for sleeping and showering and keeping our stuff and car safe. Would go again if in Amsterdam and needed to save some money.

Our stay at this hotel was catastrophic. Staff didn’t put in any effort for breakfast. The bathrooms would be okay if they had been clean. From the outside this hotel looks dilapidated. The inside furnishings look okay, but all our rooms were dirty when we entered them for the first time and also after room service it was not cleaned. We were afraid of bed bugs but we didn’t dare to look. We deeply regret going to this hotel (if you want to call it hotel). The location is also unpleasant. It’s hard to get to the city centre and the area feels unsafe to walk in the evening and night. Don’t make the same mistake as we did!

The Hotel is awful, when we first entered our room we were shocked. Its super dirty, there was a used Handkerchief on the floor and chips crumbs on the nightstand. In each of our beds was hair. Despite that the windows don’t close. Which was especially horrible in our position as there was a huge storm. The food is disgusting. The Area looks scary and doesn’t feel safe. Please don’t go in this hotel.

Great experience!! Would definitely come here again. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast options in the buffet could definitely have some more variety or just more sustenance like bacon and eggs but there isn't 😬 other than that, decent location. Pool table and air hockey. Loved this place!!

The hotel appears dated on the outside but is much nicer inside. We were greeted by a lovely lady who checked us into our room earlier. The room was clean, the bathroom was nice and the beds were so comfy. We then purchased a 3 day tram pass from reception, which was cheaper than at the station, and another lovely lady helped us with directions. It is around a half an hour tram journey into central, but we didn't mind. We would definitely stay here again!

The reception staff was very nice and helpfull. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms had some dirty spots and the shower was not clean. It was easy to get into the city center by tram but it did take some time. We had one bad experience when we had a nap and a person tried to enter our room and they asked the house keeper who let them in. This is not okay!

i don't recommend this hotel. We came by motorbikes with friends for one night. We parked in front of the hotel itself. After entering the hotel, we checked whether the vehicles were visible in the cameras - they were. On the second day, the motorcycle was gone. As it turned out, the cameras did not work at night!!!! I strongly advise against.!!!!

We spent two nights here and left at 3rd day as planned. We reserved rooms here solely because it has free parking. Reception was always really helping and kind. They have bikes to rent and they sell tickets for PT at reception. But the bed is not comfortable at all, they don't have outlets on bed sides. Pillows and duvets looked very old. Room was clean but they didn't clean it properly when we put the sign on the door. The rooms have solid bar soaps and one small shower gel per person and towels. You will pay city tax when you check in but it is not expensive. 8 mins walk to tram(line 17) and 35 mins to city center. Not so bad for the price.

People were really harsh on this place in other reviews. Is it dated? Yes. However, it was safe and very clean. The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of hot water. We had no problem finding street parking, For our purposes this place worked out great. It wasn't right downtown, but that was a good thing, because again, we could find parking. It also wasn't too far from it either. I would absolutely stay here again.

Clean room, comfy bed and the staff were nice and chill. What more can you ask for really? Nice and close to the airport so if you needed to get an early flight and taxi was your only option, you can get a bolt for very cheap and will only take you 10/15 mins. Once at the hotel, you're only a 10 min walk to get the tram station and then a 20/30 min ride into the centre. Albert Heijn supermarket only 10 min walk away from the hotel.

I would not recommend it to anyone. The room are really dirty and the staff very rude. When we arrived at the hotel the room was freezing because there was some cold air coming from the heater. Outside was raining and very cold. So we told it to the reception and they send a worker to look up. He was really rude and annoyed. He just said that the heater is working and that the room was hot enough. Then he told that if we want we can pick up an electric heater from the reception. The unpleasant thing is that even that was not working.

Looks like an hotel from the 60's or 70's. Great decor. Very clean. Very clean rooms. Staff great. Buffet breakfast okay. Plenty fruit, basic cereal, cheese , ham, cold meat. Fresh apples, chopped fruit , yoghurt, bread , pastries and great coffee. It's well out of the centre of Amsterdam. 40 plus min by public transport to the centre. Mosquitoes rife , even in October 🤬

  • 5/5 Tasha P. 6 months ago on Google
The hotel on arrival looks very run down, but on the inside, it's so different. The room was ok with a few minor inconveniences. There was a crack in the window, which would be more of a problem come winter. The blind on one side didn't work, but we had curtains, so there wasn't any bother. The lady at reception did offer to come get matinence, but we were only staying a few days, so it wasn't worth the trouble. Our wardrobe had no doors. The phones didn't work. Reception was lovely and very helpful. There is a shopping centre type area only a 7 minute walk away, which was good. Or you have some shops closer just round the corner. The tram line is also on the way, no' 17 to get into Central.

The hotel far the center but we just take one bus 17. Hotel big and beautiful, people friendly, people smoke weed alot, I don’t love it. Totally, they have good price, 14.9€ for breakfast.

very bad service. The man at the receptionist with gray hair is the most rude I have ever met, he badly imitates the way of speaking and gestures of the clients, he attends with a bad face and directly lacks respect. The photos are very retouched since they do not correspond to reality, in general they have a lousy service. Old facilities, little cleanliness and no service such as attention in the rooms, poor equipment in the rooms, they do not have a restaurant and a bad location. Bad experience in general.

  • 3/5 Philip D. 1 year ago on Google
Location isn't too bad, the fee per night is quite cheap. However, it is explained by its rooms. The rooms are in great condition, but, the phones don't work, there was no plug for the kettle. So had to resort to plug the kettle in to the plug next to the bed.

Great value for money, rooms were nice and clean, service was good. Only thing is location, however it's super easy with the tram stop 6 minutes away on foot

20 mins to the center. £30 euros in a taxi to center. Rooms very basic . No kettle in the room. Only drinks machine and coffee machine in reception. The smell of cannabis at the main door most of the time. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Would not stay here again. Due to location. Very gloomy hotel for me

It takes about 20 minutes to reach the old town. Big room with TV set and private bathroom and central air conditioning. There was no fridge and kettle in the room. The room furnitures were a little old but cleanliness was acceptable. There were lots of noises in the hotel and you cannot count on sleeping in the morning! You can hire bicycle from hotel but it was a little bit expensive.

Booked this hotel as we drove to Amsterdam and needed free parking outside the emission zone. There is plenty of parking and served us well. The hotel it’s self had a strange smell and the room was not clean. The bins hadn’t been emptied and we only had 1 tiny pillow each with a very stained decorative pillow. The room doors slammed closed so we could hear people coming and going at all hours. The air conditioning was also very loud. The hotel has easy access to the city centre with 1 tram which takes 40 mins. Fine for a quick stop over, if your looking for comfort don’t stay here.

I'm not kidding, I slept there. We were a group of friends in different rooms. That's what people do in hotels. The sleep there. When they would do a few Restaurations the hotel would be a little bit more beautiful. Friends of us had a little bit struggle with there car and there was a good cleaning guy who helped us. He was really nice. Greetings to him.

staff are great, price is great- rooms are okay. They're clean and our room may have been a one-off but the heat didn't work (in -6 to 2 degree weather) and there was some difficulty initially getting the hot water to work. The location is a bit far but easy to get into the city with an 8 minute walk and 30 minute tram

  • 2/5 Anastasia D. 1 year ago on Google
My family and I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. There were 2 big issues. 1. The Wi-Fi connection didn’t work the first 2 days. Then it was only working slowly. 2. The hotel doesn’t have stairs. There are 2 elevators, one was out of order. That means there was only 1 working elevator for a hotel with 6 floors. You had to wait about 10min to get in the elevator. It made you feel a bit claustrophobic. You felt a bit trapped and it took a while to get out of the building. And what would have happened if the other one got out of order too? The hotel is quite far from the city centre about 30-40min. The good thing is that there is a tram station close by. The room was clean though.

  • 4/5 Shaun S. 1 year ago on Google
It was a second cheapest option for me at the time of the visit. It was clean and cleaned every day. Clean towels also every day. Old furniture, very small shower and no appliances (fridge, microwave or kettle), no dishes aside from plastic cups. Still pretty expensive though compared to other European countries.

It is a good hotel with pleasant staff. A little bit chilly in the room. 😊 The rooms were clean, had towels, shower gel, soap, hair dryer, plastic cups, safe.

Out of town, but free parking outside and good connections via tram/ bus a short walk away. A very good choice if driving. Had a lovely room......but Amsterdam prices are not cheap

  • 4/5 alexa _. 10 months ago on Google
Amazing hotel, having nature near you relaxes you as you can take walks. But for tourists it's not really convenient as it is a little bit far away from the tourist attractions, and to get there it costs a little bit too much. But overall, it is an amazing place for trying to find peace and nature.

  • 3/5 Анна . 1 year ago on Google
Good points: tasty breakfast, free parking, close public transport, clean sheets and towels. Bad points: 24 °on a regulator doesn't mean 24, it was much colder, very wet in the room, windows were "crying",suppose that ventilation didn't work properly, shower didn't work properly as well (water could change from hot to icy in one second), staff cannot close the room after cleaning, so you will be lucky if nobody comes to your room while you are in the city during the day.

  • 4/5 Kim F. 11 months ago on Google
Nice rooms, friendly staff, good ambience, fair price. Only thing that's a bit annoying is that it takes 25-45 min by tram to get into the city. But there's some beautiful parks around the area at least.

  • 4/5 Ilya K. 1 year ago on Google
The price is low. If you don't mind 30 minut bike trip or 40 minute transport trip location is fine. Building and rooms are old. Resepsion guys were helpfull. Room service were there. If you're a fit young men. Literally one of the best options to stay. If you don't match that description consider other options.

  • 4/5 Flavio P. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is neat and clean with spacious rooms and comfortable bed. The toilet was a bit too small, but not a big issue. There’s a nice bar and a restaurant too. The cost benefit is well worth, although the location is kind of isolated. One night my phone died and I really had trouble finding my way back to the hotel. If they printed a mini map on the back of the hotel’s card it would be of a big help.

  • 4/5 ali 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable and the hotel staff was nice. The reception is open 24hs and there are vending machines in the lobby. We had a problem with the AC in the room which was set on cold and it was freezing inside when it was winter. The girls on the reception were quick to fix the issue and even offered that we changed rooms but there was no need since we were staying for only one more night. They offered us extra blankets which we were very thankful for. It is pretty far from the city centre (about 25 minutes in tram) but overall a very nice experience.

  • 1/5 shafay m. 1 year ago on Google
It was okay. Stayed for 3 nights, was a bit unsure on it as the reviews were quite mixed but unfortunately I gave it the benefit of the doubt. The room in itself was okay and had air conditioning, was fairly clean however the beds were disgusting and my friend has bed bug bites all over his back. Definitely will not be going there again however the staff was amazing, very nice and well-mannered.

Nice hotel, looks way better from inside than outside. Tram station is nearby, approx 5 min walk. Safe area, wasn't afraid to walk back to the hotel in the evening/night

A little far from the city, but the room is extremely comfortable. The bed was soft and very good! Very friendly and helpful staff. I missed a fridge, that's what makes me not give it 5 stars.

  • 1/5 Ina K. 1 year ago on Google
The room wasn’t clean there where spider webs at the furniture, in general very old and not comfy neither the bed nor the room. It seems that the moldings were removed and the rest of the glue was visible. The stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Great place to get a rest, very tasty kitchen - breakfast, you can choose what you want to eat. Supermarkets are far away, you've to get to a tram, but you can buy tickets at the reception. Service is pleasant and gentle.
