I
will
caveat,
this
was
my
first
time
staying
in
a
hostel.
This
one
had
great
reviews
and
it
seemed
to
cater
to
young
folk
so
I
thought
I
would
try
it
out.
I
booked
a
4-person
room
with
connected
bathroom
in
hopes
of
avoiding
crowded
public
showers.
I
grew
up
with
brothers
so
I
don’t
mind
sharing
a
space
with
men
and
I
know
there
is
no
obligation
for
the
staff
to
room
me
with
other
women.
My
issue
with
this
hostel,
is
the
lack
of
air
conditioning,
my
room
was
always
extremely
hot
despite
being
30
degrees
outside.
There
was
not
good
ventilation
at
all,
the
room
consistently
had
a
musty
smell
before
any
of
the
other
occupants
arrived.
There’s
a
glaring
red
light
that
hangs
over
your
head
in
every
bed.
There
are
zero
amenities
(idk
if
that’s
normal
for
a
hostel),
no
shampoo,
conditioner,
hairdryer
or
anything.
Bring
your
own
padlock
and
towel
otherwise
they
charge
you.
They
also
charge
you
for
the
room
key,
I
liked
that
at
the
end
of
your
stay
you
can
opt
to
donate
the
€1
for
the
room
key
to
a
charity
(not
sure
which
charity
but
I
like
to
donate
anyway).
Maybe
I’m
just
not
cut
out
for
the
hostel
life
but
this
one
seemed
great
on
line
and
then
it
turned
out
to
be
dingy
and
dank
in
person.
I
left
early
and
ended
up
booking
a
proper
hotel
outside
the
city
because
a
daily
metro
card
is
only
like
$7
and
just
as
fast
to
get
around
anyway.
