Terrible customer service- very rude staff Rooms are bare and the walls are thin. We could hear a man snoring next to us Overpriced- I recommended staying at the hotels next door. Better rooms and cheaper. We cancelled NH after a night and stayed at Nova Hotel which was a way better experience

Really great stay for 2 nights, staff were wonderfully helpful, room was spotless and comfortable, and the breakfast was truly delicious. Only thing we would change was the temperature, our room was a touch too warm even with the AC on, and our toiletries dispenser had come off the wall, but neither of these minor things affected our overall enjoyment. We'd happily stay again!

Great hotel for a weekend in Amsterdam. Excellent location, very close to the museumplein, and two trams to central station stop practically in front of the door. The standard rooms are simple but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent! The staff was also friendly and helpful. Really nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Great location and staff! Needed towels and floor brought them up so quick. Then I had an issue with redeeming the drink voucher and she personally rectified. Great customer service.

This is a great hotel. For our short stay in the city, it was well above and beyond what we needed. We arrived via train and so we got there early (around noon), but the front desk was very accommodating. They were able to get our room ready within 5 minutes which was fantastic! When we got up to the room, there was a dessert tray waiting for us!! We didn’t dine at the restaurant downstairs but we could tell it was very nice. Our room was great. Clean and spacious. Only thing is that the first elevator’s button to get to the top floor was not working, so we climbed the stairs to our floor.

THE WORST HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM WITH RQCIST STAFF. Fake promises made about service 24 X 7. The staff is racist and misbehaves with people of colour. First day we were given a room which is was dirty and there was chewing gum stuck to the phone, upon complaining, the staff did change our room but later told my husband “we think you stuck the chewing gum and dirtied the room” (like we had nothing better to do and did that just to be shifted to another room in the same category😒)My husband was mistreated by a woman named Caroline at the front desk just because he asked for a water bottle as it was late at night and Im pregnant so did not want to risk an infection from tap water. She told my husband that we wouldn’t die if we drank out of taps as we are indians. Useless and incompetent staff!

One of the worst hotels in the NH chain. Starting from rude service to old rooms. The prices do not match what you get at all. The manager (Seimon) and the staff are rude and the rooms are terrible and outdated. The hotel is in dire need of renovation with buckets on the ground because the ceiling is leaking from the rain. Rooms are small and with an old water kettle and no proper toiletries or anything. My advice: STAY AWAY !!!

Terrible hotel. We had reservations at the Museum Center hotel, which was closed at our arrival. After pounding on the door, a woman answered and said we'd been moved to the Center Hotel. We'd never received any notice that we had been moved. By then, the taxi had departed and we couldn't flag down another. We wound up lugging our suitcases through unfamiliar cobble stone streets about a kilometer to the new hotel. No compensation (even a free breakfast) was offered for our inconvenience. After checking in, we found that the air conditioner was malfunctioning. The desk clerk assured us it would be cool by evening after our day of touring. It did seem a bit cooler at bedtime but the room temperature never dropped below 80 F. Housekeeping never came to straighten up our room during our stay and to top things off, the temperature handle on the shower fell off and we wound up taking cold showers on the last morning. After all this, we were offered 25 percent off our next stay. Fat chance! We'll never stay at this hotel chain again.

Usually very fond of NH hotels such as Krasnapolsky and Barbizon, however this was the worst one I've stayed at so far. Don't get me wrong - the location is wonderful and convenient, front desk friendly but the room itself was old, musty and outdated. It kind of felt like they neglected the place, it definitely needs a fresh up.

I only booked this hotel by filtering Air Conditioner and Gym. If you're looking for both don't bother staying here. No AC even though the staff were nice to move me to a "cooler" room and it was smaller and guess what no AC it was controlled by the hotel 28c. And the gym closed in the weekend and opened from 9-12 and 4-8 something weekdays. Plus it was dirty and old. It's has a great location that's the only good side.

The hotel is very nice, new renovated from 4-5 months ago. Everything is new and it’s just beautiful. The location can’t be better, in the city center and also close to the bars and clubs. The breakfast is also good, very tasty products and delicious coffee to start the day with. The lady in the breakfast is super kind and nice. The rooms are big, there is a lot space in the rooms, the bed is huge and comfortable. The hotel itself is super quiet and you can’t hear nothing from the other rooms, which makes your sleep and comfort amazing. I would recommend this Hotel for a stay in Amsterdam 100% It’s my second time here and I would repeat if I come back to Amsterdam. The receptionists are also very helpful and kind. Most of them speak Spanish as well. You won’t regret the stay in this amazing Hotel!!!

I was very disappointed on our stay. We stayed last year in an NH Hotel in Frankfurt Germany and was really satisfied but this Amsterdam hotel is a very different story. I will never stay again. 1. The rooms are renovated but the renovation falls short especially the bathroom. The shower area is raised a foot higher than the floor. It's like a platform. Not to mention the bathroom is really small. There is a wall in between the door and the toilet that makes the bathroom too cramped. 2. The service from the reception staff is not good. The hairdryer in our room is not working and we asked so many times to the reception to give us a hairdryer from the start of our stay, but no response till we checked out. 3. We paid in advance for the breakfast and when we went to the breakfast area the following day, the staff manning the entrance to the buffet room told us we did not pay. Definitely no communication with the reception staff. Good thing the receptionist that time was the one whom we paid our breakfast in advance and he told the breakfast staff that we had paid. So definitely not coming back. The Alberto Boutique Hotel nearby has a better location than this hotel if going to the museumplein.

We had a room without air cooling. They changed our room immediatly so they react well. The breakfast is really good. Clean hotel.

Amazing hotel, very well connected and located. You have one direct bus from the airport that stops in front of the hotel. Apart from that, you have 15 minutes by foot to the city center ( or 5 minutes if you take the train). Comfortable rooms and a quite good breakfast. I would like to highlight the great attention from the NH staff specially the one of the head director Mr Chema. We couldn't have picked a better hotel to enjoy our lovely stay in Amsterdam. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Absolutely lovely hotel. All staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and beds were the comfiest I've ever stayed in. Had to take 1 star away because our first day we had no hot water and weren't offered any compensation, I know the staff couldn't do anything about this but it was a big inconvenience and even though I did mention it twice we didn't get anything in return. That being said, I still would stay again.

This hotel was an absolute gem! Nestled in the heart of everything cool – bars, restaurants, you name it – all within a stroll's reach. When we checked in the front desk working was very friendly and gave us a city map and showed us some good spots to check out. I was even more shocked we were able to have an early check in because that honestly hardly happens. We were ready to just drop our bags and explore to the city while we waited, but nope, they had us covered. The room was extremely clean. And I'm the picky type when it comes to cleanliness, but no complaints here. If you say no to room service, and you're gifted a free drink at the lobby bar. A genius move! I had a great experience here, I would highly recommend!

The hotel booking was part of a BA Holiday package, and I have to say it was just right for our 4-day trip to celebrate a big anniversary. The room was big enough and very well designed to make the most of the space. It was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide range of food on the buffet. There was an air of calm in the restaurant, with no television and only very quiet background music. The staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. The location is excellent, near the canal ring and close to a tram stop to get to/from the railway station. A huge range of restaurants is within 15 minutes walk.

In my honest opinion, I genuinely believe that this hotel is flawless in every aspect. The place is situated right in the centre of Amsterdam, surrounded by the bustling streets and vibrant atmosphere of the city. The hotel's interior exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, creating a cosy ambience that instantly makes you feel at ease. The rooms, meticulously designed and thoughtfully arranged, are nothing short of perfection, offering a harmonious blend of comfort and functionality. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation! I will be back! ❤️

This in no way meets the expectation of a 4 star hotel. The light in my bathroom constantly flickered that it made me nauseous, I told the staff twice but it was not fixed, I had to shower in the dark for my safety. There was no shampoo in the bathroom and the bath tub was cracked and had dents in it. Also they charge you 10 euros a day for wifi in 2023. Absolutely horrendous.

If a hotel is renovating, I think they should close sections to evade noise and disturbance of customers. This wasn't the case during my stay. I don't like being awaken by noise of drillers, hammers etc at 0745. My room was never properly heated during my stay despite an adjustment to airconditioned by a hotel staff. It appears that heater radiators were not operative somehow in my room. My friends whom stayed at the same dates with us in the same hotel never experienced these problems as they were accommodated at another section. Will I be coming back? No.

While the overall service was good, I have to share the terrible feedback about the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong, the restaurant serves decent food but the service is utterly terrible. They have very little consideration for clients and don’t really bother to open (chargeable!) bottles for a group (which makes no economic sense: they would have made more money off us if they stuck around to open more bottles!). I think it’s the worst this hotel offers. A real shame!

This hotel and the staff were EXCELLENT! We were a little concerned in the beginning that we would be further away from the sights and attractions but we weren’t at all. This place was very clean, quiet and comfortable! The sights were maybe 1.5 miles tops walking distance from everywhere. Museums, eateries, shopping and the Anne Frank house all not that far away. After walking around we were pleased at not getting a room near the heart of the city center. At bedtime the tourist noise would have bothered us. In my opinion, the best part (aside from being in Amsterdam) was the staff at this hotel! Natalia was super special! On our second day she surprised us by acknowledging my birthday and our wedding anniversary! She was also helpful in giving us directions to places nearby. She was friendly and never made us feel like we were a bother. We would 100% stay here next time we’re in Amsterdam!

My 4th or 5th stay at this hotel. Very good hotel. Good things: Excellent location. Great friendly and helpful staff. Very good and fresh breakfast. Less good things: Bad smell near bar. Some lights in corridors are blinking (May triger an epilepsy seasure). "Labirinth" to get from entrance to the elevators. Lack of light sources in rooms. AC filter in my room was not cleaned for a long time. Mattress in my room is very uncomfortable. Very loud AC. Open elevator control box with accessible wires (3rd floor). Overall: great hotel, but requires some maintenance and renovation.

Surprisingly the hotel was the opposite of what we expected as it’s 4 stars hotel and should be perfect. First, there is no one to help you with the luggage!!! Second, the hygiene of rooms are really bad even after the house keeping is done. Heaters are really not that effective. You have to call everyday to ask for bath robes.

A well located hotel, with rooms in urgent need of renovation (broken ac management console, lights hanging from its electric cable, old wasted furniture). Not what you’ll expect for the price. Breakfast is awesome though.

In a corner room with a terrific view. The location is excellent for walking to the park or hopping on a tram. Lovely clean rooms, good sized shower and a small clothes line in it for undies to dry.

I had to stay in town for work and my experience with this particular hotel was splendid! Rooms, service, cleanliness, overall accommodations, work spots and food- all excellent! Even the fitness center! Above all, Natalia at the reception made my stay extremely pleasant with her incredible service and smile! I absolutely recommend and hope you guys bump into her! 👌🏼

Great stay. Rooms, Service, and location. We were able to walk to many attractions and restaurants. The only warning is that the bicyclists which have the right of way and their own roadways separate from automobiles that you have to watch.

The hotel staff is polite and very helpful. The hotel rooms are very nice and spacious - we had booked three rooms, and one of them had a broken safe and AC. The hotel staff requested to bear with them for 1 night and moved us to a nice big room the next day. The location of this hotel is simply amazing - Leidseplien is a few meters away, casino, restaurants, pubs, bars, shopping! The tram too. This is good value for money hotel to stay in Amsterdam!

Greeted at the reception by Jorick who was superb. Friendly, helpful & great customer service. Room was modern & clean, and very quiet. The location was slightly out of the centre, but we were happy with this. The breakfast was also excellent. Good variety and freshly cooked eggs to order. We would stay here again
