Good Decent hotel. Best thing about the hotel is closeness to the station. The breakfast is just a formality and has very little options. Our room was not cleaned for the entirety of our stay in the hotel, even after leaving the make my room sign on the door. We were given two separate beds and even after requesting numerous times, no heed was paid to our requests. Extremely poor service and facilities. Would rather take any other hotel rather than this hotel. Totally avoid.

A great base to visit Amsterdam, 10 mins on train from airport and 5 mins on train to the centre. The location of the hotel itself in terms of local area isn't amazing, not much around, but there is a fab restaurant right next door and a bar and a spar shop for bits you need. Hotel staff were OK, but not exactly going out of their way to do anything. The cleaners were good at getting out of doing their job, turning up at our room at almost 5pm when we'd just got in after being in all day and just shoving some towels in our arms. Overall we'd use it again though due to such a good location.

I enjoyed my stay here but they do need a few more upgrades. Because there is no A/C, a lighter blanket would be great or a top sheet. Pillows were hard. And there was a wind sound I had to stop by using a towel under the door. As for breakfast I really enjoyed it. Great freshness and selection. The front desk help was top notch. They answered every question I had and also reserved a taxi.

Fairly convenient location in that it is at a train and bus station. There doesn't seem to be much within walking distance. The rooms and service were good. The complimentary breakfast was fine. If you're there in the warmer months of summer, beware. This hotel does not have air conditioning. When it gets hot your only recourse is to open the window, which will let in all the noise of the train station and the train tracks just outside.

This hotel has everything we asked for: friendly staff, complimentary breakfast and amazing location. However, the room we stayed in was very cold on our first night, so we called the reception and got an extra heater in the room. It improved the situation a bit but not entirely. If there is something to fix, I would say the window could be more tight so the cold air does not come in.

I would strongly discourage anybody from staying here. It is very outdated and not clean. There are stains all over the carpets which looked to me like sick stains. The sink in our room wasn’t draining properly so we had a look and the plug was full of sick. Breakfast was very limited which was expected, but what was there was not nice at all. It was very close to the station, which is very convenient but of course there is a lot of train noise - again to be expected. Honestly for the price you pay you can get somewhere a lot more pleasant to stay.

It was really lower than our expectation..Room air conditioner wasn't working.. although we have called the reception, we did not take enough support from them.. after calling third time, we got a heater to warm room.. Kettle was not clean , that's why we would like to take hot water from the breakfast area in the evening.. while we were taking hot water , we warned from hotel responsible very rudely. He should use normal voice while talking with customers.. also our special things such as contact lens cups was taken to bin without asking anything by stuff even though it was out of eyes to avoid being taken from them.. Shortly, only good things are breakfast and hotel place near the train station.. Not recommended and will not stay again..

We stayed at this hotel during our 2-day layover in Amsterdam. It is a great hotel, quite close to the train station Sloterdijk. And a few minutes away from the airport, if you take the train. The rooms are fairly spacious and clean. The shower is very good, and the bed is comfortable, which is important if you choose this hotel for your layover. Breakfast has a wide variety of items to choose from. And downstairs you can find a SPAR (market) and one very good restaurant, which serves burgers, pizzas, and some meals.

We stayed one night on Saturday. Check-in is supposed to be from 15.00 but on arrival rooms weren't ready until 15.30 which led to loads of people waiting in the lobby for their rooms. The bedroom itself was decent. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was half decent, although the shower drain was clogged and the soap dispensers were all empty. Breakfast was simple, but okay. Not much choice, but enough for a good start of the day. Super crowded though (Sunday morning), so took some effort to get a table and to fill our trays. Location right next to the train station is ideal, which makes it a good base. All in all it was okay for the night, but not the greatest.

Stayed for 3 nights and the location is great from an accessibility perspective. Rooms are clean and fine for the price. Service is okay but they're too casual and it seems they try to get done with you more than ensure your problem is resolved. Small stuff like tissue papers not put in the room, they didn't have some toiletries in supply for 3 nights and didn't offer to provide and in general it didn't feel very welcoming.

Functional hotel, clean etc. However no fridge in room, some noise from outside, breakfast is basic (ham, cheese, cold boiled eggs, pastries, cereal, .., nothing hot). Car park is €35 / night. Good blackout curtains. Nice shower, but frosted glass noisy bathroom door. Free wifi. Friendly staff, very helpful.

Visited Amsterdam and thus this hotel in August, 2022. The room was spacious, clean and cozy. Hospitality was awesome. People talked fluently in English. Very helpful. We rented bikes here too. Limited vegetarian options though, almost nil. Location is superb just beside the Sloterdijk railway station and there's a mart beside the hotel for your needs.

This hotel is not up there with the super luxury ones, buy for what it's worth, you can't argue against its functionality. It sits right beside the Sloterdijk train station, so you can connect to everywhere just by jumping out of your hotel. There's also the Spar market and Turkish restaurant right in front of the building, downstairs. The location is perfect for walking, running, cycling, etc. Apart from location, most other things are just okay. Had an issue with a slow drain in the bathroom (perhaps a clogged drain?), didn't report it as I saw cleaners waiting to clean my room as I left for the day - hoping they'd notice and fix it while cleaning. I came back and the issue was still there. I was leaving the next morning anyways, so I only mentioned during checkout. I did enjoy the breakfast here, and like the other hotel I stayed at, there needs to be an actual remote control for the AC. The off buttons don't seem to work on the wall control panel.

A very nice express Hotel. Its super clean and staff are very helpful. Safety as well since you need a card to go to the floors. I really enjoyed staying there. Breakfast was very good. Its super close from the train station. The only problem was you could hear the train from the window. Not a big issue but for some people this might.

This is my fifth stay for work here. The rooms are boring but good and clean, the showers are great with lots of hot water. Don’t really like the breakfast, the eggs are terrible but for the price it’s good. Location-wise it can’t get much better, you are in the center off public transport and there is a restaurant and a small Spar shop right next door. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I travel all over the world for work and sleep at least 40 weeks a year in a hotel, trust me this is great value.

All staff of the hotel are nice and helpful. Our rooms are clean. The breakfast was delicious, the location of the hotel was perfect. The employees immediately helped us with all our requests. I recommend the hotel wholeheartedly. We will stay when we come again. thanks for everything. see you as soon as possible

Great place and super friendly staff. Love it here and just steps to train station. There is a receptionist I can't remember how to spell her name, but I'll give it a go. Something like Shareefa? Sorry for the misspell. She is so sweet and helpful and made me feel at home. Not knowing the language and trying to find my way here by train was a little stressful and she made me feel at home and safe. :)

We stayed there during August. The location was convenient as the hotel was just near the train station. Front desk staff was nice and polite. The check in and check out procedure were efficient. Breakfast was simple with basic type of western food. However, the air conditioning was not cool enough and the carpet on floor with old dirty mark.

Great location for exploring as it only takes 6 minutes by train to Amsterdam Central Station. Friendly staff. Rooms are adequate. There is a SPAR supermarket in the same building and it is helpful that the hotel lets the guests use their plates and cutlery or microwave.

this hotel was very good, very friendly very clean. in the location that it was in, it was very easy to make your way around Amsterdam as the train station was right next to it. staff was lovely, I have no complaints. if I ever do come back to Amsterdam, I will definitely be booking another stay here as it was that good

Hotel was perfectly located near station which allowed us to take the tram close by to the city. Service was very friendly, rooms were very clean, but carpet could do with an update. Overall no complaints.

We were saved at this hotel at around 12:30 am as we wanted to have an experience at a Motel as it is known to do so in Amsterdam (very but very bad experience don’t AND it is the same price). Really thankful for the customer service that helped us around this hour. The room was so comfortable and the beds too , we had appliances as shampoo soaps hair dryer and even coffee in room. The wifi was great for a hotel. The view was so beautiful however you could hear a bit the train at night. The included breakfast was good. Not my first time at Holiday Inn and definitely not my last time.

I love everything about the hotel. The location is great, and the cleanliness. Different choices of breakfast. The only downside is no fridge in the room. I appreciate the fact that they accommodate early check-in and late check out without extra charge. Thank you. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in Amsterdam

The hotel is physically located next to the Sloterdijk station, it is absolutely convenient for traveller. There is a convenient store SPAR just next to it, make this even better. The hotel room is quite standard and clean, breakfast is included and it is quite good. The matter of fact, attention to check n make sure the spoons are well cleaned at the breakfast area. Nevertheless, still a good hotel with its setup n nice staff. πŸ‘

Fantastic Hotel, really welcoming staff and no request is too much. It’s literally right beside the train station, tram line and bus station. However it lost a star because of this too. You can hear every single public transport vehicle go by, even with the window shut and the curtains closed. Rooms were spotless, shower was one of the greatest hotel showers I’ve ever used. Breakfast was included in our rate and there was everything you’d ever want or need. Express checkout is great also, as it removes any delay. Two train stops from the airport, one from Amsterdam centraal. One thing to note is the city tax. This is not included in the booking rate and it will be added to your fee on arrival if you are using the likes of Booking.com where you pay on arrival!

Affordable place with nice and clean property with amazingly helpful staff. Staff was so helpful they let us check 2 hrs before check in time Linens were fresh and new, comfortable beds Breakfast was nice as well with many food items to choose from. Right beside train station so easy to commute and super market in the same building, no noise of trains were heard inside the room Only annoying thing during the night music plays outside somewhere which is loud enough to disturb your sleep. Felt safe even at night since we went out both nights and came late. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant so apart from breakfast you need find place for lunch and dinner few options nearby like one pizza restaurant with bar just next to the hotel, also in train station few food joints available.

The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was great. Everything was very clean. The rooms were a bit small but it was all we needed. The price was great. The Sloterdijk train station literally butts to the hotel. The train was very easy and fun to use - cheap and just a few minutes to the central station from the room. Great value!

Nice hotel near the railwaystation. Everything is clean and well cared for. Friendly staff. Good basic breakfast buffet. The room was okay, the bed however was not my style. It was with springs which makes is to soft for my likings. Allthough everything is well cared for you can see the years of use in some details. Carpets are not so clean anymore, tables in restaurants show little damage and more like this. Still I do recommend this hotel: it's a good place to stay when you plan to be out and about most of the time.

The hotel is fine and location is right next to different types of public transport. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good bed and shower. The breakfast is not great though as they dont serve eggs. Also the staff was not really friendly. For the price I expected some more...

This is the best Holiday Inn I've ever been in. Perfect room, bed, bathroom! No complaints here. Service was up par! From the front desk, Yasar who welcomed us with friendly and helpful attitude, to the attendants at the breakfast room. I was surprise this hotel provides 2 machines of coffee and juices. Breads were made sure get replenished. Victor was very friendly. He asked me and my aunt how we were doing and chatted for us for a while about places to go in Amsterdam.

Location very good in terms of public transport. Train / tram / metro stain under a minute from station. Disappointed with the continuous noise from the extractor fan. Room was ok but there were sweets under the bed. We checked in on Friday and Room was not cleaned until Sunday. Spar and restaurant literally outside the hotel. Overall good!

Good experience. The room had a big bed, a table to work and a good bathroom. The shower was so strong. There was some hidraulic trouble, the fawcett was sinking. The breakfast may be better. There is few fruit, and there are no scrambled eggs. Housekeeping and service at all are good. It’s located very close to the train and bus station.

I stayed in this hotel overnight. Impressed vs its price. Everything was perfect! Being next to the train station, downstairs was a convenient store. Clean. Spacious bathroom although there wasn’t toiletries just the 2in1 hair-body liquid soap. Downside, no fridge so you cannot store food or water. And, room was hot. Well, for me it was hot, unable to regulate the temp. Bfast time a lil late 7am). Nevertheless, I will recommend this hotel to my traveling friends.πŸ˜‰
