Less
than
expected,
indifferent
service,
and
the
"Sir
Residence"
not
worth
the
price.
Our
family
of
three
paid
$$$$
for
four
nights
in
the
Sir
Residence
"suite,"
16-20
June
2022.
First,
the
positives:
the
location
was
convenient
and
the
shower
was
large
with
good
water
pressure.
Next,
the
negatives:
1)
The
noise
from
the
restaurant
bar,
with
pounding
bass
until
1
a.m.
for
three
nights
in
a
row.
On
Monday
night
it
was
a
bit
quieter.
2)
The
dark
black
decor
and
lighting
in
the
hallways,
which
conveniently
helps
hide
the
dirty
carpets
and
scuffed
paint.
This
place
would
not
be
good
for
anyone
with
vision
impairment,
the
hallways
are
really
quite
dark.
3)
The
sagging
mattress
in
the
larger
of
the
two
bedrooms
--
there
was
a
perfectly
body-shaped
trough
on
the
left
half
of
the
mattress.
4)
From
the
website,
the
Sir
Residence
is
made
to
look
like
a
suite
withe
two
bedrooms,
including
a
couch.
But
it
was
just
two
separate
hotel
rooms
joined
by
a
private
hallway,
where
all
the
doors
swung
closed
and
locked
automatically
unless
you
propped
them
open
(we
didn't
find
the
doorstops
until
our
third
day).
Where
a
couch
would
have
been
ideal
was
instead
a
huge
bathtub
right
in
the
living/sleeping
area.
Extremely
impractical,
since
the
shower
is
already
very
nice
(see
the
positives
above).
5)
The
logged-in
WiFi
wasn't
working
(and
no
one
seemed
concerned
about
getting
it
fixed
when
we
asked
about
the
log-in
problems),
so
they
directed
everyone
to
the
"Day
Use"
unsecured
network.
Consequently
my
husband
was
unable
to
access
his
work
email
because
it
requires
a
secured
network.
6)
For
the
entire
four
nights
of
our
stay,
we
made
just
one
small
request
that
was
never
honored
and
never
followed
up
on.
We
asked
for
two
flatter
pillows
(the
beds
had
many
pillows
that
were
overstuffed
but
only
one
that
was
flat
enough
for
sleeping
with
a
healthy
neck
position).
First,
I
filled
out
the
online
so-called
"Personal
Page"
with
our
request,
given
that
they
supposedly
have
a
"Pillow
Menu"
but
never
got
any
response.
Then
we
asked
at
the
front
desk
and
were
told
that
because
the
hotel
was
at
100%
capacity
they
had
no
more
pillows
that
night
but
that
housekeeping
would
deliver
some
the
next
day
after
other
guests
had
checked
out.
We
never
heard
from
them
again.
So
much
for
any
special
service
that
might
come
with
paying
for
4
nights
in
their
most
expensive
accommodations.
If
the
price
had
been
30%
less,
we
would
say
"you
get
what
you
pay
for"
and
give
the
Sir
Albert
a
higher
rating.
But
when
4
nights
cost
more
than
one
month's
rent
in
many
cities,
you
expect
a
bit
more.
