very average general quality. even if the decoration is pretty. the bedroom doors slam all night, very poor quality bedding. heating blocked at 23.5 degrees. And finally, very very small breakfast room for such a large hotel, a lot of waiting to get a table. unsmiling staff. I will not come back.

Lovely and well maintained hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. I'm general, everything you can expect for a medium to upper level hotel, beside the train station to make connection easy. This is a bit far from city center, but convinient regarding where you need to be in the city.

Nice and quiet hotel near the Amsterdam arena. With fast connections to the airport and city center. The rooms are modern and clean, and the breakfast is very good. Very recommended for business trips.

-Very rude receptionists. One was called Augusto, and the second was a woman with a ponytail with green eyes, she was being aggressive and very unpleasant. They made a mistake with our parking fee and instead of trying to fix it they said “Errors happen”, I said that if they made a mistake they should have fixed it and apologised, that's how customer service works. They started talking in Spanish and insulting us, but we both speak Spanish so we understood everything. Very unprofessional and disgusting behaviour. -It’s impossible to sleep past 10AM as the cleaners have a competition of who's going to slam the door louder. It was non-stop slamming of the doors, every 5 minutes during room service. -We stayed for 2 nights and didn't have the room cleaned on the first day as room service came very early, yet they still charged us a pet cleaning fee for 2 days, not 1. -The bottle with conditioner was almost empty. -It was very hard to connect the TV to YouTube or Netflix, I think SmartTV should be a standard nowadays, especially in 5 star hotels

Fine for the overnight we needed. I thought it was outrageous that with silver elite status you would have to pay 21euros ea for the breakfast but it just inspired us to get up and go to city center and find something better.

I simply have to say that hotel fully covered all my needs and even more because during whole my stay anything wrong happened. The crew was polite and helpful, especially in hotel's restaurant. The dinner was very good, I did not have breakfast so I cannot judge. The room was clean, spacious, all was working as AC, TV, minifridge...Hotel has also safe available. Especially specious was bathroom as well as washtube. Even the default internet connection was working well with no problems and for free of charge. Basically during 6 days I did not find any issues or any bummer event. All very good here, recommended.

Reception asked me for a 200 € deposit whereas the B&B including taxes was prepaid. However one of my colleagues refused to pay them as double payment often happens because of those and they made do without his 200 €. Why? Reception asked 2 colleagues and I arriving together whether we wanted to stay on the same floor. We approved her suggestion and we ended up one on floor 7, the other on floor 6 and the latter on floor 2!!! Left over of a cup of coffee was not disposed of by room service between morning and evening. Coffee and tea were not refilled properly from one day to the other. Duvet cover was upside down on last evening (press button at nose level) when I got into bed. However location is perfect for the Arena area? Breakfast there was very good and the staff there kind and helpful.

Arrived at 9am, was allowed to check in and drop my bag, very useful. Got back to the hotel at 4pm, room still not ready and had to wait, which isn't great. But they made it good by getting me a bigger room, so kudos to them. I only had breakfast there, which was good, both cooked and continental options. It was probably a little far out of Central Amsterdam, about €20, in an uber, but a great location for the stadium. I would stay here again.

Great hotel for a visit to Amsterdam. Even though the location might seem far, it is right next to a metro line that takes roughly 30 minutes to get into downtown Amsterdam. Because of this, I think it provides a good price value. Rooms were clean, staff very friendly and helpful. There is a hotel discounted parking lot right next to the hotel (there even is an electric charger but you might need a special pass for it).

We stayed at this hotel for a business trip and were there for approximately 4 days. Check in at this hotel was painfully slow, and staff communicated that they had a system issue that was ongoing for a couple of weeks. The room was pretty standard, and the restroom was larger than most. The restroom did not have an outlet for use of a hairdryer. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was decent though I was disappointed that the breakfast options were the same daily. For a lengthy stay, more variety is appreciated.

The hotel is a solid 3-star hotel. As a titanium elite member I did get a couple of perks. The location is great from the airport, but not particularly close to the airpor. It’s not the cheapest place and breakfast is insanely over priced. It is nice to have the market to buy a few things if needed. The bar is not too bad, there is outdoor seating which is nice. The room is very mostly clean and basic in amenities but it’s comfortable and quiet. The restaurant staff are kind, the foods for dinner was very good. The gym is very simple but at least it exists. I would stay again, maybe at a better price point.

Very welcoming hotel with friendly staff. The hotel itself is pretty close to the Biljmer ArenA station so getting around wasn’t hard at all. Only downside was that rooms were a bit small. Wifi and breakfast were great, although breakfast wasn’t complimentary. Additionally, we were charged for more breakfasts than we had attended, so make sure to check the bill after your visit.

Good location close to Bijlmer station. Breakfast is good but there could be more variety in different days. It’s the exact same every day. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym can be used 24/7 which really helps the people with jet lag.

Kind staff and exceptional service. Upon arrival, the man at the front desk pointed out that I had mistakenly booked a room for the night prior (!!!). Before the shock sank in, he told me we could stay anyway, without additional charge. THANK YOU!!

Only stopped one night, but the service was great. Streamline check in and check out. Room was decent. Much to my surprise, the girl who checked me in, Alice, remembered my name and greeted me personally as I left. Something like that leaves a really good impression. Certainly wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Small hotel but has all basic Marriott amenities and hospitality. Good location since metro station is nearby Good budget hotel located very close to Metro station.. easy to travel to Central area.. all basic Marriott amenities covered.. Breakfast options could be improved as they serve same menu every day.. cleanliness in rooms could be better! Staff hospitality was good.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This website will compare thousands of hotel sites and typically will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of my favorites in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it. Great location, anyone who is new to Amsterdam can easily commute to this place as it's just 2 stops away from Schiphol airport. The hotel is very close to the train station, bus terminal, super market, and restaurants nearby. Great service and hospitality by the staff. I highly recommend this place.

Pet friendly hotel, recommended for dog owners on trips to Amsterdam. King room has most of the comforts and luxury vibes of a top rated chain hotel. Only let down was the poor internal communication about check out time flexibility resulting in bitterness between us and rooming staff

It's a decent and quiet hotel if you need to be in the Arena Atlas area, with all necessary amenities, a rich breakfast and friendly staff. Pros: - friendly and helpful staff - close to the Bijlmer Arena station - very good and rich breakfast for all tastes - it has a gym with quite a lot of gear - you can cast streaming apps to the TV - room sizes are decent - pet friendly Cons: - the shower water temperature is not constant and it cycles endlessly. Not very pleasant when in need of a hot shower. - the bathroom door offers little to no privacy - the room was chilly sometimes, even when cranking up the hvac to 23 degrees - the furniture looks a bit dated and the carpets don't look like they were cleaned recently, some of them had coffee stains - only one coffee machine serving 40-50 people - lack of transparency when it comes to deposit requested at check in. I was surprised to pay at least +20% vs the value displayed in the app. A cost breakdown (how much is city tax / how much is actual deposit) shared in advance on email would have been nice.

Stand out service - special thanks to Alice from reception who took care of us really well. She’s been kind on the phone and extremely nice to us upon arrival. We were able to check in early and received all relevant tips. Thanks for everything ! All stuff was really nice , rooms are clean and good-sized. Right next to the hotel there is train and tube station so you can reach the city centre in no time.

Junior suit about size of standard in US, so OK for Europe, however description stated seating area, it did not have one. Was equipped well with fridge, safe, iron and coffee machine but room set up for one person not two with coffee and towels. Checkin took some time but check out fast. Shower was climb over high bath rim. Is dog friendly and some green areas around to walk. Close to major station, so although not in centre easy to get to places. Car park close but not easy to walk between. First day breakfast was chaos as large group staying and wait 10 minutes at one self service coffee machine. Second day was quiet, food was good.

Currently staying here. The service is very slow especially if you request something. Also you have to request EVERYTHING as nothing is provided beforehand. Two of us are staying and only one water bottle was given in the room, tea bags with no milk, no bath mat in the bathroom etc. Very surprised to see this being a Marriot chain. Requested something small over half an hour ago and never got it. Still got two days left and will edit the overall visit further. Some staff seems better than others. The service is not standard on site.

Stayed here during a week end. Hotel is at the arena area and takes about 25 minutes to get to the centre by meteo. The station for the meteo is only a 5 minute walk. Hotel has no parking but the P9 parking l is available at a discount (€18 / day). Parking garage is very dark and grim not the best experience. Check in was slow, I guess this was new staff. I believe they were low on staff as coffee and water were not replenished on the second day. Breakfast is offered at €26,- (or €21 sometimes) which is a little expensive. Rooms are clean but outdated. Tried to charge phone by USB but that is not available in the room. Also YouTube is not working. Hotel may cost up to €200 / night depending if parades or festivals.

We had overall nice stay here with my girlfriend and her parents. (Titanium member) + 10€ per person per room F&B credits, welcome gift + smooth check in (but wasn’t offered late checkout by default) + very good and attentive service (Stefania Piani) and recommend the food at the restaurant (risotto/pappardelle) - it was nice to receive a welcome drink coupon but when we tried to redeem it, the staff had inconsistent messages about what was included. (Eg one said that aperiodischem Spritz was while another said it wasn’t) - our first restaurant visit was okay ist - less attentive service and above experience but second one was superb Thanks a lot and overall happy with the stay!

Just returned after staying at Courtyard Marriott Amsterdam Arena for 3 nights. In summary: Location - Less than 10 mins walk from Train/Metro/Bus Station (Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena Station). Easily reached from Schipol Airport by direct Train. Plenty of shops, bars & restaurant across the road at the Amsterdam Johan Cruyff Arena/Boulevard. Amsterdam Centraal is also easily reached from here. Room & Service - Excellent. Room was perfect & generous in size. It also had a work station & sitting area. The fridge & safe were in working order. All staff were courteous & willing to help. Food - We only sampled breakfast which was impressive. A wide choice of hot and cold items available as self-service buffet. During our stay, all food items were regularly checked & topped-up. Other - Bikes & umbrella's were available for hire for a small fee. On-site self-service shop had supplies of essential items as well as food, beer & wine. Overall - Recommended & will return for sure.

The hotel’s location is perfect if you’re coming to Amsterdam with Flixbus. It’s just 2 minutes away from Amsterdam Bjilmer ( near the Arena ). Hotel was super clean, staff was really nice and kind. I would definitely recommend. You can take the metro to the central station. It takes app. 20 mins.

this is my second stay at Courtyard by Marriott hotel one in the Prague and this second one in Amsterdam. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this exceptional hotel and would like to express my utmost satisfaction with the overall experience. The location is truly convenient, train & bus station nearby the hotel. In summary, the exceptional service from the entire staff made my stay truly wonderful. Their commitment to hospitality sets this establishment apart, and I extend my gratitude for their efforts in ensuring a memorable and enjoyable visit. I look forward to returning and experiencing the outstanding service once again. I`m Really thankful for the staff especially for the Argentinian guy and the lady in the Main restaurant sorry to forget the names but I will never forget the memorable stay and staff Highly recommend :)

Alice and Augusto were extremely helpful when we checked in. Only one of our rooms were available so Alice allowed everyone to check and she called when the 2nd room was available. Every time we needed something, she made sure to help. My only complaint is housekeeping. The bathroom was very dirty with mildew and soap scrum. The body wash was empty and never filled. Only thing done was some of the trash was taken out. I requested for more service but housekeeping never showed up. Even when Alice called. Aside from housekeeping everything else was pleasant

Nice hotel within 2 minute walk to the train station. You can get to downtown Amsterdam within 15 minutes, and the airport within 20. We arrived early and asked for an early check in, which I know is based on availability and request. The agent didn’t even bother to look in the computer to check or ask for the name on the reservation. They just said “no way, come back at 3” without bothering to check anything in the system. It was an odd first impression that I have not had at any hotel. The rest of the staff were very nice later in the day and recognized my status with Marriott. I was given a room upgrade, welcome candy, and a free appetizer in the restaurant.

Spend 2 nights here, First night was good: clean room and small working station in the room. Coffee machine didn't work which was a bummer in the morning. Second night was a different room which didin't have a coffee machine at all so was slightly confusing. Breakfast is available in a take away formula due to covid.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice with good comfy bed. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Specially Izabela was very sweet and she gave a me good recommendation for the city center and she was the best at the bar and at the breakfast in the morning. The location of the hotel is very good near by the train station.

Great hotel with easy access to the trains to city centre. Awesome service during the Night Shift from a young lady did not catch her name, but really excellent service! Helping with luggage opening doors and just genuine great service that I haven’t received in a long time.

The most disappointing and frustrating stay with Courtyard/Marriott. We booked the room for a week for business and got upgraded because of our bonvoy status. Due to the fact that I often was in the online conference in the room, the staff will not enter my room for Covid reasons, and there was barely any toiletry or basics, I had to call to ask for shampoo, toilet paper, or a tee cup, etc., everyday. Despite the receptionist said every time “yes, yes, housekeeper will bring it to you right away“, I have never got anything within the week. Everyday it ended up with me calling for 3 times, waiting from morning to evening and eventually getting it myself by standing in front of the reception. I’d be happy to get it downstairs myself in the first place if they told me so. What I don’t like is being kept waiting in vain EVERY SINGLE TIME. It was very frustrating when you have to wait for a roll of toilet paper in between meetings. No one ever came to clean the room. I offered to put the trash in the bag and leave it outside the door, so the staff could just pick it up at their convenience. Receptionist said “yes, great, housekeeper will pick it up around 11:30“. The trash stood outside the door until it started to smell. I didn’t know there are quite some chores to do in Amsterdam Courtyard. I gave the reception lady my feedback at checkout. She said she’d talk to the manager to give us some bonvoy points and send an email regarding how the hotel management handles what happened. It’s been 2 months now. Neither have we received points nor an email. No apologies. Seems they are used to saying one thing and not doing it. PS: Breakfast not included in the price. 18.50€ Per person. Menu remained exactly the same for a week. The upgraded room was below 4-star standard: blood on the curtain; barely any surface to put things on (only a mini glass desk, and 2 mini nightstands); Minimum water pressure in the shower; no bathtub; no toothbrush; no cups, no power outlet around the desk (hard for people who work with electric devices), bathroom door can not be closed without making loud slamming noises. External parking 25€ per day. Restaurant and bar were closed for 2 days.

Good service, clean rooms. Exactly what you’d hope from a Courtyard. It’s a bit out of the city but the nearby metro is relatively convenient and you can also rent a bike.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a room. This web site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for years. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't regret it. Beautiful hotel, right by the company office and a train and metro station! Restaurant had great food and service, and the room was clean and very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again! Nice views of the area as well.

I spend 100 nights a year in hotels and I can’t believe how nice this hotel is for a Courtyard. The staff is great and friendly. The food in the restaurant was superb. The room was perfect and had AC for a very hot few days. I highly recommend it.

Modern hotel, rooms are large and comfortable, parking for the car, metro nearby, a good selection of local restaurants also. Excellent stay, only point less positive is the cost of the breakfast buffet, 24 € is on the high side. It's a good choice for those visiting Amsterdam.

An Indian staff member treated us as if we were doing him a favour by staying in Marriott and we should be grateful that we are allowed to stay in the hotel. He turned, what could have been a nice and memorable experience, to a bitter one. The rest of the staff and the chef are very nice, helpful and courteous but dealing with this Indian staff member made me give 1 star only to the hotel.

It was a good comfortable stay. However, what I miss is the filling of consumables properly everyday. The face towel never got replaced. The water bottle was put only on first night and one more night in between out of the 11 nights. The body lotion was not always there. The breakfast is exactly exactly same everyday. This is way below my expectation for Marriot, it was good, but then I can't eat it daily for 11 mornings and I didn't. And why is there a security deposit required at all. In the last 20 years since I started booking hotels first time, I haven't seen any 3, 4 , or 5 star hotels asking for a security deposit. So, those are a few things I didn't like. Location was good for me because my office was literally next door.

Fantastic new hotel in Amsterdam. We were pleased from the very first minute when we called for reservation, Sophie from the reception was so kind and we met her also at the reception as we checked in, she was so nice and helpful… also Alice was great and nice, they made our stay at Marriott perfect, the hotel is fantastic, the rooms and bathrooms are state of the art, modern and top, the staff is so friendly and nice, breakfast was also great… we will come again ✌️Thanks a lot

Really disappointed in my stay here. Very different level of service from other Marriott properties I have stayed at. We stayed at this hotel while on vacation. 4 nights and 5 days. It's about a 15-20 minute taxi/uber ride into the city. But if you prefer a quieter area this is a perfect location. This hotel is also near a train station which will assist you in getting around. When we first checked into the hotel, we were placed in a room where the sink did not function properly. We notified the front desk and were promptly moved to another room. Plumbing worked but there were many scratches, marks and stains all over the walls in the bedroom area and bathroom. Housekeeping here is terrible. There was not a day that went by that we did not have to ask the front desk MULTIPLE times for towels so that we could shower. Housekeeping would come into the room, make our beds and leave. They only took our trash twice during our stay and never refreshed the towels. They took our old, used towels twice without us having to ask. It was not pleasant returning to the hotel after a day of exploring and not knowing whether you would have towels to bathe. We were also never given a new bar of soap for washing our hands. One night we ordered room service that was delivered to our room. When we were finished, we placed it outside our door thinking someone would do a night round and pick it up for us. Which is what we are accustomed to at any other hotel. The next morning, the tray was still there. When we got back that evening, the tray was still there. Baffling since housekeeping had definitely been in our rooms and made our beds. We patroned the restaurant once during our stay. I ordered an entree and my companion ordered a soup, that we asked to come out first, and an entree. Their soup and my entree came out at the same time. Their entree arrived much later after I had finished my meal. Our stay here was quite bizarre and not a positive reflection of the Marriott brand.

Have mixed feeling about this hotel. Clean room and good shower. On negative side the Wi-Fi was only for one device and slow. Also, their security is not good although we had a laugh for the event: one evening after work I headed to my room just to see my colleague in my room. He made a mistake about his room number and reception happily made him a copy of my room’s key card. He was very embarrassed and this turned to a fun story to share during our stay with other colleagues but it can be an accident waiting to happen
