This is a budget style hotel like many in the area, but it has a really good vibe. Some of my friends stayed nearby but wanted to spend evenings in the bar here. Breakfast is included. The rooms and public areas are clean and warm. Stairs are very steep, so not for people unable to climb stairs easily. Very central. Bring plug adaptors.

Great location, average rooms, good service at the bar. It's in the centre of the red light district, which is both a plus and a disadvantage.

The attic room was great if you don't mind climbing the narrow stairs typical of the period. Clean with dated decor and TV. Duck your head and limbo shower and loo outside the room. Loved it

Pros.. staff are extremely friendly and polite Shower and toilets are cleaned Cons... well were do I start, I have to be honest 1. My room was running alive with bed bugs I had over 12bites. The hotel didn't seem aware of this problem but gave me a full refund as I could not stay here. 2. No form of air con in the rooms or hallways. 3. Breakfast was very limited only eggs, cheese and ham and bread, last for only an hour. 4. Walls are very thin so you can hear people coming and going.

Well, what I should say? Sincerely is the worst accommodation I have my entire life. Is very clean, no doubt about that. The staff is rude, not exceptionally, but rude enough to fell uncomfortable. All spaces are narrow, the toilets and showers are shared. Is very, very much noise during the night, the noise is coming both from inside and outside. Buy some eat plugs otherwise you'll not sleep a minute. And the prices ate very, very expensive compared with the offer. The rooms are looking like a military baracks. More, the key card received doesn't fit to the hotel entrance, all the time must to ask the receptionist/bartender to open the door. The only good thing is the location, I'm the core of the Red light district, surrounded by all the attractions. Finally the recommendation is to search more for another offer.

Cozy little Hotel right in the middle of the Red Light District. Rooms are small but comfy, and the prove is good. There's a nice 24/7 bar as well, also a restaurant in the basement. Food was great, and we got 10% off because we were staying in the Hotel. Loved the day there, would definitely stay there again.

For the price, I thought it was a fine experience. I can imagine this being a terrible place for picky travelers. Check in is at the bar. If you have heavy suitcases, brace your legs for a workout to go up really small stairs since there are no elevators. Breakfast is awesome and was included with the stay. Restrooms are very small and is shared, so it can get messy from time to time. Showers are oddly shaped but will get the job done. You might hear strange noise at night since the hotel is in the red-light district.

Been staying this place everytime I go to Amsterdam for the last ten years. Slap bang in the middle of the red light aswell. Right opposite the casa rosso. If you're staying here the bar is open 24 hours can't fault it. You can come back and forth 24/7 as you like. Staff here always been super friendly. After midnight on new years eve the bar staff came up and gave us free ollie ballen, apparently its a Dutch tradition. Drinks are not as expensive as most other places in the red light. Rooms are OK, not forgetting it's a hostel. Also there's a Thai restaurant downstairs which is part of the same business. Very nice food here we ate here on our last night. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay near or in the red light. Great location and value. Will definitely be back again!

The room was better than expected for a budget hotel. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The location is fantastic with loads of restaurants, coffee shops and adult entertainment nearby. What really made this place special is the staff. We were made to feel very welcome by everyone, but Mark was fantastic. He gave us some great recommendations for food places and trips, and he really went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay.

We we’re called ‘irritating’ by the owner because we dropped a bar mat (pictured) behind the bar and therefore created ‘a mess’. Obviously because we’re English and spend lots of money in the town and are therefore a nuisance even if we’re very polite and courteous. Won’t be back again. I would advise no one else does. Plenty of other places to go.

The rooms are small. Everything is clean and professional. The people who work there are very nice and respect you. Either way, you are here to have fun with women not to sleep all the time.

Worst hotel ever, it's so loud and dirty. The breakfast lady is also rude and the breakfast is nothing. Location is great though.

I booked this hotel for what it was, and it was what I expected, a budget hotel in Amsterdam. The rooms where small, about the size of a cruise ship room, and you get 2 twin beds. Bathroom amd showers are shared with thr floor, which didn't bother us much, as we didn't run into a Over lap with anyone. Like other reviews state, the stairs are brutal lol. If you have a physical disability it recommend not to book here. Bar was nice and prices where cheap. Also people complaining about noise, this is literally in the middle of the red light district!

All of the staff members were super nice and reliable. The room was very small and not airconditioned but for that price it seems fair. Toilets and showers were shared with others but they were kept clean so we didn't have any problems with that. Minifridge was missing in our room.

I was so scared of my intended stay after reading the reviews. See me watching and checking while using the restroom. Overall, it was an okay experience, no bedbugs, nice host (the elderly receptionist). Breakfast was surprisingly good (basement location too). And price was relatively cheap.

😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
