Very nice hotel not too far from the airport. I've given 5 stars if it would be a little closer to the airport. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on for one night, but definitely a hotel I can recommend if you are around. I'll will for sure be back during my next business trip. 😊

Very nice hotel, especially the rooms - modern, large and comfortable - and the food - large choice and super tasty. Pretty close to the airport with a free shuttle bus every 30 minutes. The only downside is that I found it a bit too pricey: almost 10 euro for a bowl for veggies and 12 euro for a beer (not even a large one). Recommended for a touch and go at Amsterdam or for business purposes.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in Europe. Large room, tasty food and friendly staff who are always ready to offer assistance. It's only 10 minutes away from the Schipol Airport, connected by shuttle bus in every 15 minutes. I will come back for sure.

Very clean, has an airport shuttle and a pool with spa facilities, but very uncomfortable and overpriced. I wouldn't stay here again. Stayed in the Deluxe Junior Suite and I have regrets; my money could have been better spent elsewhere. The bed was incredibly hard and uncomfortable, and the pillows offered zero support so I woke up with many aches and pains. Worst night's sleep I've ever had in the most expensive hotel I've ever paid for. The air was still so we couldn't breathe well. The remotes to both TVs didn't work. There is no information about any of the facilities (the info channel on the TV is a white screen), so you have to call reception and ask everything. Food is overpriced; their burgers are not worth €20. It's rare that a budget hotel like the Ibis is better than a luxury one, but it is. I would not recommend Steigenberger to anyone.

Our flight cancelled and we opt for this hotel .complimentary shuttle runs 24 hrs from arrival gate B5 . Staff was very professional. Rooms are extraordinary clean with complete kit . Food was delicious. Breakfast starts at 5.30 am I highly recommend this place

Mixed experience but overall disappointed. We ordered veggie pizza and Margherita. We were given 2x Margherita, the guy who delivered it to our room thought Margherita and veggie pizza were the same thing... 🤦 We sent back one of the pizza and getting a refund was a whole lot of headache!! Took us 4 phone calls again and again. They tried to make us come down to reception at 11:30 to get our refund. It was so annoying but we were enjoying the stay. Honestly, this hotel could have been GREAT but unfortunately it was ruined. Also, what kind of TV doesn't isn't smart? We had to watch whatever channels were available. I think other customers would love to have smart TVs in their rooms too.

I am going to split this review in 2 as there were issues out of the control of the hotel. 1: Staff were fantastic, despite the issues in item 2, they remained friendly and helpful throughout, the room service waiter was without a doubt the nicest chap EVER. The food was very good, and the room was comfortable and (unlike a lot of hotels in winter), I was able to get the temperature cool enough to be comfortable. Check out was a breeze and the bus TO the airport spot on. 2: This hotel is evidently used by AF/KLM to accommodate stranded passengers, and on the day, I was checking in, a LOT of flights had been delayed, yet there was only a 20-person minibus and at least 80 passengers needing transportation, this ended up with me paying €33 for a 10-minute taxi ride. On arrival at the hotel, the queue was huge, and, although dealt with effectively by the hotel staff, still resulted in a good 30–40-minute wait. I know that the use of the hotel by the airlines is a little out of the control of the staff, but the morning shuttle was a full-sized coach, which should have been used in the evening, when they knew there was in instant high-volume demand. Would I stay here again? Well, I do like the Steigenberger brand, and the one in Hamburg is one of my favourite hotels, but the sheer inconvenience caused when used by the influx of stranded passengers will certainly make me think twice.

Was there for a business trip for 3 nights. The rooms were nice and spacious, had a really good breakfast buffet, and had a nice spa area witha sauna, steam baths, and a small pool. However, the sports bar which was the only restaurant open was mediocre at best and the service was quite slow even on days they weren't busy. Overall the hotel was nice, would recommend for short stays.

Great hotel right beside the airport with a free shuttle. Specious and good rooms with lots of amenities. Amazing staff that went above and beyond to help out and fix the TV issue we had. They switched our room and offered an upgrade. Highly recommended due to close proximity airport and the free shuttle.

Clean, convenient and great shuttle bus service & lovely breakfast selection. The omelette are amazing.! However the restaurants have been closed on both occasions I’ve stayed at the hotel and the bar food is very limited.. it would seem that they’ve no interest in re-opening the restaurant. For a hotel of this nature, it’s very disappointing to see, especially when there is limited choice locally, within walking distance. At the very least they could expand the bar menu choice..!!

This was a wonderful airport hotel! I interacted with six different staff members between reception and the sportsbar and every single one was exceptionally warm and nice! Wonderful hospitality. The restaurant was also great! Nice beer selection and the food was very well prepared and reasonably priced! The room was clean and had great amenities. A nice view and very quiet. The bed in the eco room was very comfortable and the bathtub was more than long enough for me (5’5”/165cm) to take a lovely bath. I feel so relaxed after my stay here! Would love to stay here again.

We stayed here a couple of times and each time had a good experience. The room was a good size and very clean. Comfortable beds. The restaurant/bar on the ground floor was really nice, great views of course and good selection of food. Really good meals. Location is good, close to the airport. Will be back.

My flight with KLM got rebooked because of a storm north of Croatia. I received a voucher to this hotel and I was surprised at how nice of a hotel it was. The rooms were spacious with a soft and comfortable bed. I arrived just in time before the kitchen closed to order "the best burger," which was the name on the menu and how it tasted. Breakfast was included and had a wide selection to choose from. Usually, what you can expect for your breakfast. Sadly, I did not have time to see their swimming pool.

Our stay in the hotel was brilliant. Comfortable beds with quite a spacious layout. My favorite was the well equipped spa and pool. Especially during winter, we can considered it as a quick Getaway with sauna, steam, foot spa and more. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we had in Europe, full of varieties and taste alright. Very friendly staff as well, would recommended to those who loves a peaceful and good hotel near Schiphol airport.

This was a very clean hotel and convenient to the airport. We used the free airport shuttle which was timely and easy to find. The on campus food was good, with very little else in the area. It was pricey. Service was a bit odd. I had an issue with my reservation, but the reservation person wasn't there so I could not resolve. We had a TV issue but the tech wasn't there so no help with that. Everyone was friendly they just seemed limited in what they could help with. We would stay there again.

Rooms were fine. Early checking was not available when we landed. Had it been available they charge 10 per hour until 3pm in addition to hotel night cost. Checking was painfully slow almost 30 minutes. Checkout was simple. Van pick up to/from airport we used 4 times all worked flawlessly.

A very decent play to stay. Bit expensive and laced in no where but for Airport hotel this is good. Ambience, staff and in door restaurants are great. Breakfast options were great and the omlette / egg counter lady makes kne of the best eggs.

Solid hotel. Staff is always nice and very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Location isnt great, although the big forest 5min walking away is amazing to stretch your legs. The very slow wifi is not keeping up with the times. Needs to be improved, its 2023. Maybe take the shuttle to the airport in order to stream Netflix...

We were given a voucher for this hotel in Amsterdam by KLM as our flight home was cancelled. I requested a few hours later checkout next day (standard 12 pm) as I have cancer and I wanted to be able to rest, let my pain medication optimize before heading to the airport to sit for five hours before our rebooked flight the next day. I asked twice including a manager and they said no both times. They didn’t even suggest we pay a little extra to get a few hours more in the room. Not the right response. Cancer stinks ! Room was nice but you have to ask for amenities like shower cap and toothbrush. Housekeeping knocked on our door even though we had a do not disturb sign out.

Despite the circumstances (our flight be cancelled), they stay was great. The shuttle was convenient and staff was excellent. We had an excellent breakfast that even had a great vegan spread (the dinner was not vegan friendly) . I would come here again if my flight is cancelled. 😀relaxing spa and warm pool 😀

KLM put us here for a missed connection. I was afraid of what it would be since I am not familiar with the name. This was a very nice hotel. The rooms were upscale as was the coming and eating/drinking areas. There is an airport shuttle every 30 min each way and the airport is the main train station so you can use it for that as well. I recommend this location.

Very helpful staff, as well as a comfortable and stocked room (slippers, robe, coffee machine, etc.) I rented a bike from the hotel, which was very convenient. It wasn't in the best shape (gear shift not fully aligned, front brake not working), but I told the receptionist, and he created a repair report. The restaurant had very accommodating servers. The food was close to, but missing the mark. (Curry on the tuna of the niçoise salad, a caesar salad dressing with zero acidity or flavour.) Location wise, it is a 15/20 minute shuttle ride to the airport. It was very hard to get anywhere by transit from this hotel, and there were NO restaurants or cafes open and within walking distance, only the hotel's own restaurant. But it was close to a gorgeous park, so that was nice.

The hotel is located close to the airport and has nice spa area. Also we were surprised of the breakfast cause it was buffet and was really good. 4 stars as the staff didn’t allow me to stay in the swimming pool after checking out even no one was there :)

In many ways a great hotel with lots of facilities. Spacious rooms with good beds. Yet aimed at people who travel at company expense. Food and drinks are very overpriced! Also Internet is not up to standard. Our booking was also lost in the system but solved in the end.

Kind of far away from the center and public transportation and markets. Room was fine. Didnt get to use the pool because of maintenance. Shuttle to airport is a plus.

Really good Hotel with all the facilities you need as crew that stays for a long time in hotel. The hotel personells are the most amazing and professional i have seen specially Faranak at the front desk, She’s so helpfull and kind and is always in a good mood which makes you feel really welcomed.

It’s in my opinion the best around AMS airport. Very nice reception and restaurant staff, good equipped gym, even a pool, comfortable clean rooms with good bedding.

A very comfortable short stay! Arrived late due to missed connections, booked a room online, very reasonable price. An innovative modern hotel, with rooms service menu through QR code (smart) TV remote hygienically packed in plastic. Bed is comfortable and the room size is spacious. Definitely, the go to place for a Schipol stay. Shuttle Bus service is prompt and timely.

Staff were nice, hotel is lovely the room was very nice indeed, unfortunately I only had the room as a day room as I had a few hours between flights, a nights stay would have been nice and refreshing. There's a shuttle bus which goes to the airport on the hour and 1/2 past the hour, driver was very nice. The shuttle bus to the hotel from the airport goes from the right hand area out side of the arrivals area about 40m to the right of the taxis as you come out. Taxi to the hotel is about €20

A shuttle bus to/from the airport. Rooms were very good with a slide out second door to eliminate noise from in the corridor which I though was brilliant idea. Rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. I would happily stay there again, price is on the high side.

This posh hotel is conveniently located close to the airport. Although not within walking distance, they do offer a free shuttle to and from the airport. They have a nice selection of restaurants on the premises, with great food. The rooms are very nice, with the most comfortable beds. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

We stayed for Dekmantel festival and an additional 6 days and, overall, we had a nice experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A couple of small details to be improved about the room maintenance: we ran out of soap and it wasn't replaced for a couple of days, and the cleaning of the room was a bit sloppy a few days. Food and drink prices are a bit too high for me (especially breakfast) but the quality and choice is great. Will return for sure (for Dekmantel)

Very service oriented. Reasonable priced. Convenient access to airport. But.. not a very good location otherwise. Rooms are dated. (And floor heating in bathroom is far too warm)

Such a fantastic hotel with arcades, bars, restaurants, beautiful terraces, a fitness center, pool and spa for a great price. I haven't been to the Netherlands for 15 years since I studied in Maastricht. Staying here for an unexpected layover was a perfect way to rediscover my second home after being away for so long. The breakfast is incredible, and the rooms were so comfortable too. I can't wait to go back.

Nice location and shuttle service. There were some details to improve in the room cleanliness. The fitness center needs some maintenance. Spa and swimming pool are nice. No many options in dietary restrictions breakfast and meals, such as gluten free. Excellent customer service at the reception. The overall experience was OK.

The hotel was convenient from Amsterdam airport . Shuttle bus are timely , arrive a few minutes before! Unfortunately they have plastic in all the rooms. This really detracted for me and my experience . Especially as they say they are a “green” hotel. Sauna was very nice but there was no water available, they told me I could drink in the bathroom but there are no cups - that was definitely lacking .

One night transit stay over. Our flight arrived late 10:30pm and we were able to still get the airport shuttle at 11pm. Easy check in, friendly reception. Room was lovely, spacious with nespresso, comfortable bed, modern and clean room. Got the airport shuttle back next morning. Very nice stay.

Modern hotel 10 minutes away from the airport offering a complimentary airport shuttle every 30 minutes. The shuttle was late on our first night but we used it to catch the train to Amsterdam Central Station every day and it really saved us a lot of time and money. Buying a multiple day transportation card was the best decision we made as it includes unlimited travel in trains, trams and local buses and Amsterdam's transportation system is the nicest and cleanest I've ever seen. Hotel rooms were clean and spacious. Large bathroom with a separate tub and shower and modern facilities, including heated floor and mirrors. The heated pool was great as well as the sauna 👌. Heads up: the bar was understaffed and the wait was long on a weekend.

The receptionist is very sweet and kind with lovely greetings from the beginning! Other receptionist also very professional The housekeeping bring the bathrobe with a great smile ! I lost my controller in the room and called back after 3 days and they kept well for me ! When I return to pick it up , they found it prompt and quickly with a big smile ! Had a great time here !! The sauna is also very well organized! I will come back again !

I arrived early and the room was ready, so was pleased with that. As most,if not all, people who live in Netherlands speak English and quite well, so it was easy to book in. Also I have found that, typical, they are friendly and the restaurant was nice. A shuttle bus went from the hotel to the airport every 30 minutes so again, good. I recommend this place.
