Best hotel in amsterdam! The location of the hotel is perfect just in from of the train station, near all the major attractions and restaurants. The staff are amazing helpful and welcoming. The gesture they made for the birthday of my mother was so kind. The room is big and modern and practical, the bed gives u the best sleep of ur life. Welcome drinks is always available in the lobby, the sauna, the pool, and massage are very relaxing. Thank u art’otel for this amazing stay in amsterdam will definitely coming back!

Nice convenient hotel if you want to be close to centraal. Great for exploring all aspects of the city. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Avoid the exterior facing rooms at the corner of the building as the tram vibrates the room because it’s turning at that point and hitting the metal tracks.

Nice room and great view but let down a bit by the room not being refreshed fully on our second or third day. Also the coffee maker, which was the only way you could make coffee was partly broken and on reporting it, it was not changed for another. Breakfast staff were a bit unfocused I guess you might say in that depending on who served you, you may not have got the drink you asked for or had to wait for someone to ask even. There did not seem to be a standard for what to do when a guest arrives for breakfast. There was no menu provided, so unless you knew what was available, you missed out! The hotel was very clean and friendly and quite high tech with the different light combinations in the rooms. Very difficult to not wake anyone up though for a trip to the bathroom in the night as all the lights were too bright and very hit and miss with which switch did what. Safer to hold out til morning if you can! The bar served nice meals but way over priced we thought, so only used it on our arrival. The hotel is clearly above average and quite enjoyable although for the price, it should have not had the faults I mentioned.

Fantastic hotel. Comfy warm rooms. Giant sperms swimming in the atrium and mildly trippy sculptures throughout the building. Or was that just the mushrooms I consumed on day 2... you tell me?

This hotel is right near central station and walking distance to everything. The hotel has an art gallery and the art installations also appear throughout the hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is quite good. Coffee was excellent. I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

I’ve booked this hotel based on the reviews on google maps so I thought would be great to help other travelers too. The hotel is different, different architecture and with some art inside that everyone can visit and enjoy. Upon arrival we were really well received. The person that took care of our booking was simply fantastic. Super friendly and polite explained everything about the hotel and even gave us a free upgrade to our room and two welcome drinks at the bar of the hotel. The room was amazing very clean and modern loved it. I’ve made some requests like a different pillow and more water and they took care of it immediately. My opinion the only downside during my stay was the breakfast not much things to eat was a bit limited but what was available was fresh and really good. Definitely recommend this place to stay right in the city centre. Walking distance from the train station called Amsterdam Central.

Horrible experience. i stayed in the past few times at this hotel , and ( in the past ) they had really good service and amazing staff. but now went there recently and had the worst experience. unprofessional and not friendly staff . lost an item ( really valuable item ) in the room contacted the hotel immediately no one helped me for a month im calling every week and everytime i ask for a manager they dont accept and they never call back as they said . after all i called and the answer was sorry we cant help you any further. Bottom line for the price i paid which is 400€ a night i expected a good experience. so after lots of visits there in the past , definitely after last stay not doing that again and i wouldn’t recommend .

The hotel is great and the location is excellent, close to the train station and close to Dam Square. The reception staff are wonderful, helpful and provide anything you need and are very helpful, and I look forward to booking again.

A perfect place to start your adventures in Amsterdam only 100m away from Amsterdam central! The rooms are quite spacious and well decorated with all sorts of artsy props and the like... The bathroom was a bit strange with only a pane of electrostatic grass between the bathroom and bedroom with a switch on the wall labeled "peekaboo" to switch the glass from transparent to opaque the toilet and shower had the same glass but with no switch so it was always opaque... The staff was very helpful and caring the only negative point is the pool/spa it seems to be shared with that hotel next door and there is no restrictions on kids in the pool so trying to get a relaxing time is impossible when almost around the clock children are jump in the pool and screaming... But over all the hotel stay was great can highly recommend getting the breakfast since it's quite good and open till 11am

Hotel is very modern and the art gallery is a bonus, the room is spacious with floor to ceiling mirrors 😍😍. I would definitely stay here again when in Amsterdam, also the hotel location is spot on with Schiphol airport train tickets costing less than €5. I think the price I paid was worth it 5* and the staff are very welcoming. They say hi to you anytime you walk past them, well done to them.

Well.. interesting 🤨 the design is nice but cheap… amazing location but it is pretty loud because of the busy tram routes around here 🚃. But it’s bearable. The staff is nice, the service is a bit hectic. For example we had to beg for the cleaning. In general, it is okay for a 4 star hotel 🏨😊

This has been our favorite hotel stay for a city break. The location is perfect just a few minuets from central station which is so easy to get to from the airport. It is served by the trams but really everything you want to see and do is in walking distance and if you’re not up for a longer walk just hop on a tram. The hotel itself is super cool with the most amazing staff! A big shout out to Brian and Jamal whose big personalities could put the grumpiest person in a great mood! The Art museum part of the hotel, to the Art library, the cool funky style with their own pool and sauna and super gym. We had breakfast included which was delicious. Our king room with canal view was stunning and huge with everything we needed including cosy robes. We had the best sleeps here the bed is the most comfortable. We look forward to coming back for another stay.

Not much not to love about this place. 1. Location. Situated a stone's throw from Amsterdam Centraal station. Within walking distance to all major tourist attractions 2. Staff. Super friendly but also very professional. Special thanks for Jamal (curly haired fellow?) who brought a birthday platter up to the room for my partner who was celebrating his birthday during the stay. 3. Facilities. Great breakfasts and dinners in Arca. The sauna and the pool were never too busy and always well stocked with fresh towels, water etc. 4. Decor. Funky artwork throughout the communal spaces and within rooms, as well as a range of books and nooks to relax in. This hotel will be my go-to any time I'm in Amsterdam. Thank you.

I just wanted to say that I have truly enjoyed my stay at the hotel this past weekend. It was a mother and daughter 'get a way' and we stayed three nights. The staff are so welcoming and warm. The hotel is at an amazing location and the facilities are first class! We enjoyed the sauna, pool and fitness center. Best hotel!!! Thank you! Also want to mention a lovely concierge (I didn't catch his name but he has curly hair and worked Thursday and Sunday morning). He is warm and friendly and quite funny. Rooms are clean and perfect! Thanks again.

Great location and easy access to a lot of points of interests, and very convenient to hop on public transportation from the central station. Rooms are spacious, clean and have a nice atmosphere. We stayed here for 2 weeks and the front desk was always very helpful witj anything we needed.

Stayed in this hotel for almost a week with my child for autumn break and in general we were really happy about the staff, the location, and especially the pool/sauna. A few things which echo other people’s comments about the hotel: 1. Room temperature (during our stay always showed 20 degrees) was not adjustable so it was chilly for us. 2. Room and public areas do have dark lighting. It might be a style but overall there is little daylight or natural light coming in when you are inside the hotel. 3. Our room was a bit dusty here and there but acceptable. 4. Be noted that the pool/sauna is shared with another hotel next door (Park Plaza) Therefore, it was quite crowded. For the days we declined the house keeping services, they put a bag with amenities on the door. This was something I found quite special at least not common in many hotels. Very considerate.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. The room is quite spacious and suitable for 2 people for business trips. But, the room service needs to be improved. Each time after room service, the towels are changed but it's dirty.

My wife and I recently stayed at Artotel and had a wonderful time, not least because of the staff. Frédérique gave us a warm reception and went the extra mile by booking us into the Arca restaurant on a busy Friday night, which was a lovely touch. Jamal was equally impressive, giving us a grand tour and making sure we were well-informed about the best local eats and drinks. The hotel itself was just as pleasant, boasting a particularly lovely spa area where we could unwind and relax. The combination of friendly service and great facilities made our stay at Artotel one we'd happily recommend.

One of my favorite hotel experiences. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect, close to everything you should be visiting in the centre and a walk away from the central station in case you plan to visit north amsterdam (Noord). The hotel is very artistic. The rooms are not only cozy but stylish and curated to your taste. It’s subtle luxury in the perfect address!

Loved the rooms and the staff were very lovely and helpful. Parking is tricky so please check beforehand on how to park otherwise you may end up getting a fine to even park for a few minutes for luggage. We used Qpark 350m away and walked up 2 flights of stairs and got our luggage- which was fine because driving in Amsterdam is a pain. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The bar is lovely too.

Had a business visit to Utrecht with 3 of my colleagues and for final days we decided to spent the night on Amsterdam. We choose this hotel where the the services especially the front desk is the best part other than the location. The breakfast choices are limited but they're taste wonderful

The hotel’s location and friendly staff make it a top choice if you want to be dead in the center of all the action in Amsterdam Central. The AC works great also. Ask for the corner room with the balcony.

Didnt liked the Bed and the Isolation. It was kinda loud in the bed room. You still hear the people and street Outside. The bed was way to soft. The room was Clean and very Central. The Price is just way to high for not getting comfy. Personal was very friendly and uncomplicated.

We stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved it!!! This hotel is centrally located. The staff was so kind and accommodating. The room and common areas were beautifully designed with thoughtful details. It has a sexy, edgy vibe. Would love to come back!

Great location, very friendly (and actually helpful) staff, had an issue with the coffee machine and a request for extra pillows, both were dealt with immediately. The online checking-in is amazing and very smooth saved us a lot of time. Brand new hotel and very clean and comfortable. The art and decor is fabulous, and the breakfast was very good quality.

Great weekend away at the art'otel. The staff couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. The art tour is a must we thoughtly enjoyed it, not enough was said about this on check in we found it on the Internet. The location is fantastic only a short walk to the central station and close to lots of restaurants and bars.

Fantastic Hotel to stay in for a 2 night visit to Amsterdam. The staff were very friendly and keen to help and suggest things to do in the city. The swimming pool was good, if slightly chilly. I'd recommend an early morning swim as it was quieter. The breakfast was outstanding. The scrambled eggs were very tasty and my partner and I went up for more bacon! A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Was the iconic view worth it? Yes it was! So iconic.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why.
