A really lovely hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is a rent a bike facility which is reasonably priced. The room was clean. Location itself is within walking distance of the town centre, and it is really peaceful close to Vondelpark.

I'm in the hotel since Monday now, and I have complained four (!!!) times over the last few days at the reception. There is candy under the bed (not mine) spider webs hanging, paint flaking off the ceiling and the chairs on the balcony have turned into a pile of broken wood, long ago. Except for the two days of not having shower gel until I asked twice, these are things that either can be fixed quickly, or have been ignored for a long time. But complaining and showing pictures has done nothing about these issues. I can't blame the receptionists for the managers who clearly don't care about customer reviews. This hotel seems to get away with poor cleaning and upkeel just because of its great location.

It was the worst hotel experience in my entire life, lift out of order during 4 days and I was on the fourth floor, broken window curtains, a lot of dust in the room, dirt in the hallways, they don't serve breakfast, shower you have to hold for use, they don't provide bath towels, the bathroom was dirty, in short, I wouldn't even recommend it to my enemy, not to mention the price is absolutely high! I do not recommend!

Dirty old rooms with horrid smell and lumpy beds, that won't stay in place. No AC and ventilation is so bad, that in room it's much hotter, than outside. Checked out the day before we were supposed to.

small Hotel in a awesome quiet area. The Rooms on the Backside have even some view of the pond. Good size Bathroom with all the things you need. Steep and narrow staircase, but there is a lift. The public transportation options are great, direct tram into the city or a few stations to the metro

Very disappointed in this hotel. The room was supposed to be a double room, but it was as big as a box, no room on the side of the bed for the suitcases, no where to hang anything. Very badly decorated, and run down. The very thin sheet on the mattress came off during the night and there was no mattress protection cover. Awful. The guy on the reception was very unfriendly as we arrived, but the lady receptionist on the following morning was very friendly. The only good thing is that it is close to the Vondel park and you can hire bikes. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Good value for the money but be aware that you’ll need to pay the “city taxes” at the hotel as IS NOT DESCRIBED IN THE HOTEL PAGE at Agoda. They should be more transparent about this fee in the ‘Hotel announcements’ or putting a message when we finish our booking. Apart from that, we arrived very early in Amsterdam and went to the hotel and left the luggage and then came back at 14:30 and after the check in when we arrived at our room it wasn’t ready yet. The housekeepers asked us to wait outside the room some minutes and then rushed to finish the cleaning in our room. It was a bit disappointing. The room is very tiny, but comfortable…for a short term stay was ok. The location is ok as you can find many public transport options

Lovely quiet area right by a lovely park, but my god never again, I know it was cheap but the bed was awful, had to put clothes underneath the one small pillow for support, shower didn't drain properly, mould on bathroom ceiling, plastering coming off the ceiling on the stairwell, non existent air con, and when we did open the window we were savaged by mosquitoes. Probably the same as previous guests due to the squatted mosquitoes on the walls! Oh and to top it off the lift was out of order. Will pay extra on our next visit for somewhere more cleaner and more comfortable.

Overall was a good hotel. I left some jewellery and reception kept it behind the desk for me to post. After some communication back and forth over email I was suddenly blocked and none of my emails were being delivered..

+ Small / practical rooms for traveling alone or with your partner + Near Vondelpark (2min) You can walk through the Park to Rijksmuseum + The wifi was really fast + Most of the Staff is friendly, except one lady never really greeted us nor gave us much attention - The rooms were not clean, the cleaning lady never vacuumed the floor during our stay - The toilet paper wasnt refilled - The bedsheets had make up stains on from previous guests - The AC was still not working BUT we were provided with a fan I really hope they listen to the reviews, it's such a shame...

Nicely situated hotel next to a huge park, however there is no breakfast option, the rooms are so tiny and the bathroom was super cold, but the staff is helpful and polite.

On the website the hotel said that the hotel had a breakfast lounge. But when we got here, the breakfast lounge was closed and being renovated. The safety box in the room didn’t work and it didn’t help that I told it at the reception. The lamp by the bed didn’t work- that was fixed after I asked for it in the reception bro one of the lamps I the bathroom didn’t get fixed. The switch to the light in the room was placed at the headboard of the bed cm from the mattress. That had the consequence that you turned on the celtral lighting when you turned around in your sleep. The hotel was generally dirty. The first two days we stayed her, our beds was made but there was no other kinds of cleaning being done in the room. The next two days no one was in our room. At the reception they told me, that they didn’t clean the rooms after covid - bismuth why we’re they in my room the first two days making my bed - they didn’t empty the dust bin or leave clean towels or toilet paper.

Very conveniently located near to the metro and city and I got a great deal - a little over 60 euros per night. Price went up dramatically on the weekend though but I don’t think it would have been worth it for that price. The room is incredibly small but it was clean. At first, only one light in my room worked but the man at the front desk replaced the bulbs promptly. Phone also didn’t work. I was told that there were making some renovations on the 2nd floor and that was the reason why things weren’t working as expected. I didn’t spend much time in the room as I was only in the city for one day so it served my purpose well. I was a solo traveler so I didn’t mind the incredible small room. Breakfast was included in my room rate and it was decent. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you are able to get a good rate. Wouldn’t pay anything more that 70 euro per night here as there are way better hotel options if you spend upwards of 100 euros.

We booked 2 rooms in the hotel for the weekend of 17 - 18 April via Agoda and paid with a creditcard where they already took the money from us. When we arrived at the hotel there was no one there, the hotel was closed and the phone number did not work anymore. I call this fraud and reaching Agoda now to solve this is also a nightmare.

Really nice little hotel in an ideal location! The room we stayed in was very small and a bit cramped but this didn’t bother us. We did have an issue with the water not being hot one morning, well it was roasting for me but then 20 minutes later it was cold for my boyfriend, we only had this issue once. Staff were friendly and gave us a leaflet and a map when we checked in explaining the hotel rules, breakfast and what bus goes to the airport which was really helpful! *Overall this hotel was very cheap and it was in a quiet part with loads of restaurants and trams going into central, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. :) -Pictures are the view from our room-

To say it with one word: Disgusting. The carpet has more stains than clear parts. The walls are dirty with food, dirt, dead mosquitoes and things I don't even want to think about. The shower is almost falling apart (had to repair door and shower head on my own!) In addition the water doesn't heat up, I told the receptionist, he "resetted the boiler". Afterwards we had medium warm water for 5 Minutes. Then it went cold again. On thy website it says there is free breakfast, first when you check in they tell you that it's not done anymore. Kinda scary fact is also, that the entrancedoor is open all day & night! One and only positive fact: There is a daily room cleaning.

Be aware that everything in this hotel is very small. If that's okay with you, this is a great hotel. Very conveniently located near the popular and beautiful public park, it is efficient, clean, and has friendly staff. The receptionist was very helpful and kind in getting us situated and giving us advice for eating and activities. The beds were actually plenty big enough and very comfortable. Everything else was tiny but fully functional and honestly pretty enjoyable to use. They even provided a tiny electric water kettle and tea and coffee fixings. Overall, great small hotel in the city.
