Undoubtedly the best hotel experience I had ever. The staff is extremely nice and friendly, and will do everything to help and guide you. Rooms are posh, well maintained, spacious and with all amenities that you might need. Only cons was breakfast, which was exactly same food for 5 days that we stayed. So, I won't recommend to take room with 'breakfast included' if staying for a longer duration. It's good enough for 1 or 2 days. Overall had a 5* experience, and would certainly like to visit again. Kudos to the hotel staff for truly Exceptional service.😘

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights as part of a business trip. Hotel is located in a quiet area and quite conveniently located (10 mins walk to Amsterdam Central). The staff is quite polite and eager to help. Hotel rooms are of decent size and have comfortable beds and pillows. They do have a safe, iron board, dryer etc available in the room. At my request a room heater was also provided. The hotel has some odd design - lifts (3 nos. just opposite to reception) takes its own sweet time to arrive irrespective of people load. One can take stairs from all floors to the first floor and after that need to take the lift to come down to the ground floor. In terms of their restaurant, they have very limited vegetarian food range in their breakfast menu. Further one big miss at this hotel is lack of display of allergen information. They don't do this at all. Quite odd as nearly all big hotels and restaurants do these days.

The one feature that stood out the most of this place is its location and proximity to everything Amsteradam . We hardly had to take a cab for any of our visits to in and around the city. The stretch of walk from the hotel to Central Amsteradm is wonderful set against the water scenery. As for the rooms , they were spacious with good views and service was excellent. The breakfast buffet was commendable too.

We had a fabulous time here. Very close to main train station, and popular tourist attractions. Our room was huge with a fully stocked fridge. Breakfast was very nice also. I would like to mention the guy on front desk, such a pleasure to deal with. Only downside are the lifts are very slow.

Great location. Walking distance to many landmarks. Nice city view. Elevators are the number one problem at the hotel. One of them is usually out of service and the other two are always occupied. Higher floors are not convenient as the elevators are always full of people. The front desk staff are polite and helpful while the restaurant staff feel like they just want you to eat and leave immediately. No smiling, no help with anything. The breakfast could be better, it is not really worth the price. Good hotel in general, despite minor issues.

Great hotel. Loved the distance from the main part of town so the area was quiet at night. Wonderful breakfast buffet, nice view from our 8th floor room, of the port. Lovely neighborhood nearby where we visited a local market. We will be back.

We were given a room at level 3 with a nice view. The room was clean and spacious. Bed was also bigger than what hotels would provide for a twin room. The toilet was spacious and water pressure was good. The walk to Amsterdam Centraal station took about 12 mins. It's a nice chilly walk but could get quite tiring if you're dragging your luggage along. A disappointment we had was the lack of response from the hotel staff when an automated emergency announcement was made for all hotel guests to evacuate the hotel and take the stairs. Most people took it seriously and did as told. This led to a crowd gathering outside the hotel entrance but the staff didn't bother to step out to address the situation. They only told us it was a false alarm when we went inside to ask. After that, there was a crowd at the hotel lobby when people were waiting to take the lift back up to their rooms.

The location is perfect to see Amsterdam but hotel view is actually blocked by another building on the sea front. Unfortunately the staff here is very young and inexperienced, probably due to cost . I was charged for one night that I didn't stay at the hotel as for my conference reservation although I tried to explain it was done months ago. So staff is not understanding and helpful as per the management. Extremely expensive for low service just for the looks. Not happy with it.

Staff exceptionally friendly. Able to provide gluten free breakfast and dinner. The location of the hotel is an easy 10 minute walk to Amsterdam central station for trams, trains and buses. A relaxing and comfortable hotel.

I chose this hotel based on the Google reviews, and it did not disappoint. We upgraded to a suite since it was our honeymoon and the room was spacious and had a great view of the city and canal. The bed was amazing and the shower had great water pressure. We enjoyed the upstairs bar a couple of nights and the front staff was friendly and helpful. It's about a half mile walk to the city center and a quarter mile to our favorite neighborhood. If you don't mind walking and being away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect choice for you. It's also close the Central Station.

Had a great stay here for a few nights. Only 15min walk from central station making it easy to pick up trams and trains. Also an easy walk into the centre. Rooms are a great size and we had a lovely bath and shower in our room. Would stay again.

Recently, i stayed at Aitana and enjoyed it. More so, have to mention the exceptional service and honesty of staff there. i had left something expensive and close to my heart when i checked out. by the time i realized it, i was in another country and reached Aitana immediately. They did a thorough check of room and enquired with housekeeping and returned it back to us. it was a wonderful experience thanks to Aitana Amsterdam staff. my family and myself are thankful from the bottom of our heart and will be sure to return there every time. thank you once again.- you are an example to all hoteliers.

Room looked nothing like the pictures. Had an opposite view also and different amenities. Ferenc had a bad attitude, was not helpful at all. And simply offered free breakfast instead of the room I paid €1,600 for. The manager was not helpful at all either.

This hotel is a great location about 10 minutes from Central Station, which can get you anywhere you want to go in Amsterdam. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. We had a great view of the river. The only downside - and it was a big one - is the elevators are a miserable experience. Very small, HOT, and so incredibly slow. It was a 10 minute experience almost every time and being on the 12th floor, the stairs weren't a reasonable option.

Title: Disappointing Experience at Aitana Amsterdam Rating: ⭐️ I recently stayed at Aitana Amsterdam with two friends and unfortunately, our experience with the staff, particularly Rodger at the restaurant, left much to be desired. Rodger's behavior was discourteous, displaying a lack of professionalism and respect. Though we did not initially opt for the breakfast package, we decided to dine in the hotel's restaurant one morning. Rodger informed us that we would need to settle the bill upon finishing our meal, which we gladly agreed to. However, when we requested assistance with clearing our table, Rodger's response was dismissive and impatient. He used the words "wait" and advised us to "make sure you have money to pay the bill when you finish your breakfast." His comments about ensuring we had the means to pay were unnecessarily presumptive and came across as racially insensitive, judging us solely by our Indian heritage. This type of behavior is not acceptable and does not align with the values of inclusivity and hospitality that one expects from a reputable establishment. Regrettably, I cannot in good conscience Aitana Room Mate to anyone who values self-respect and expects fair treatment. It is my hope that the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards creating a more inclusive and respectful environment for all guests.

The front desk staff were very welcoming and gave me an overview of the city attractions when I checked in as it was my first visit to Amsterdam. I liked the room size the view. The only thing that I did not like was that the room was not soundproof. I woke up a couple of times in the morning on the sound of the room service cleaning the adjacent rooms.

Stayed here for three nights with my wife and 2 old. Used it as a base to explore the city, and if was perfect. The room was amazing, with floor to ceiling windows and a great view of the dock. Bar and restaurant on site which is fab too. Room was huge, with loads of space for my toddler to play - cot was provided. The bed was super comfortable and gave us a great night's sleep. Mini bar in the room was well stocked, beers spirits and snacks, all reasonably priced. Rooms were made up each day too. Extra mention for the shower, was a massive fan! Was amazing, large and hot water. Staff were all super nice as well. Hotel is approx 10 mins walk from Central, not too bad, but not the place to stay if you want to be in the middle of all the action. Some great bars and restaurants nearby though. Would definitely stay again.

We had a terrible experience staying at this hotel from Dec 24-Dec 28. We were traveling with 6 month old baby. 1) the room we got had a strong marijuana smell. It was clear that people smoked weed in it. We don’t use drugs and have a child, so we had to ask for a different room. 2) New room had black mold growing in the shower and problems with heating, where a/c didn’t go above 72 F. 3) During the last night of our stay we woke up at 2 am from the fire alarm. We pulled on some clothes and carried our sleeping child 8 floors down the stairwell along with other hotel guests. On the second floor we discovered that we can’t go down further because fire emergency exit doors were sealed(!) from both left and right sides and only available open exit was in the main lobby. Read carefully- the night concierge (!) told the scared crowd in the pajamas that it’s a false alarm and we can go back to the rooms. There were no firefighters to check if it’s safe and clear to return upstairs. There was no automated fire alarm announcements that it’s been a false alarm, etc. This is very dangerous hotel to stay that can cost you life in case of real fire. Upon check out next morning- we didn’t receive any refund/credits for going through this experience. Never again.

Such a lovely hotel! Friendly and helpful staff, they were so attentive and patient, we felt so welcomed! The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, we slept like babies! It is a perfect hotel for visiting Amsterdam, a perfect balance between being close to the central station (from where you can move anywhere) but being in a calm environment where you can rest away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The hotel offers a convenient walking distance to Central Station, making it ideal for travelers. Additionally, the delightful breakfast provided adds a perfect start to the day, enhancing the overall experience. It's become our go-to place.

We were very satisfied with this hotel in the past. However, our last stay was unfortunately not a good experience. We booked with breakfast, but it was not like it used to be. The selection of the breakfast buffet has decreased. In addition, we were harassed by the employees at the breakfast area. When we entered the area from the elevator, there was no employee standing at the entrance of the breakfast area. After we entered, an elderly woman with dark hair yelled after us and demanded to check our room number. She was very unprofessional and not kind to us. We tried to tell her our room number and even my name under which I booked the room multiple times. But instead of looking into the book for the number we told her or the name, she just stared at us with a very grim look. Even after I suggested her to check my ID to get the name right, she refused to do that. Soon after that, her colleague joined the conversation and smiled at us while talking out loud that we forgot our room number and our name, which was not the case. Other guests smiled and laughed after that, while we felt very exposed and unwelcome there. After this experience, we will not come back to this hotel. We suggest teaching your employees in the breakfast area how to handle such situations more professionally. At least the reception personnel did everything very kindly and professionally.

Room was big and clean with nice view. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice and with various choices. A bit far from city center, but not too bad (10-15 min walk)

Stayed here for 2 nights with friends. Great location for the centre and rooms very clean. Beds were really comfortable and bathrooms excellent and well equipped. We used the restaurant and bar, both great. Found check in and check out very slow (no queues, just staff struggling with the system) which was a little irritating as we had pre-checked in. Not a major problem and would definitely return. Thank you!

Firstly, I have to say how absolutely amazing all the staff were, so helpful and friendly. I want to give David M, a special mention as we feel he went above and beyond for us. Couldn't have asked for more. The breakfast was great, the evening meal we had was fab. The room was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station, so easily accessible.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was spacious with a comfortable large bed, good shower and the place was spotless. The hotel has a great view of the port and was central to the city. It was my wife’s birthday and the staff left a card and balloons for her. So thoughtful. We had an amazing time and would recommend this hotel. A big thank you to the staff. We will definitely come back.

This was one of the best 4 star hotels we stayed in. We had an executive queen room and believe me when I say this was one of the biggest queen rooms I ever had. The hotel looks amazing and has a modern design, is really clean and the food at the restaurant was really good and good priced. The location is ideal for exploring the city and getting in or around Amsterdam. The staff was great and helped me set-up a birthday surprise for my partner. We will definitely be back at this hotel when next time in Amsterdam.

I just arrived here and booked for 1 bed in the room, however I got a room with 2 single beds, when asked at reception to change for a room with one bed I been told that there is fully booked for this request. Very disappointed, won’t come back here for sure and I won’t recommend to anyone! However it is clean and has a nice view.

We had a really fantastic stay at this hotel. The rooms are very quite and big. The view was amazing and the staff was friendly. It took us a 10 min walk from the central station and also the walking distance to the city center was perfectly fine. Would always come back again.

It was not my 1st time in Amsterdam and I was well surprised by the size and cleanliness of the rooms! The hotel is very well located - close to my favourite Jordaan area. I did not take breakfast, but went down for a coffee and was surprised by the food options available and that it was available until noon! My new favourite place to stay in Amsterdam for sure.

Walking distance to the city centre. Overall we were satisfied with our stay and will highly recommend. Thank you!!

Lovely hotel, it was our 2nd time staying here. However, we haven't enjoyed it as much as the 1st time - we've chosen a late check out and paid extra for it although we've got few people knocking on our door and the receptionist calling us twice to check what time we will leave. A bit disturbing. We still recommend it due to the lovely views and decor.

Very nice lobby. Big room and nice shower. Wifi was very slow. Room felt basic. Very small TV in room. Chair in room was broken. Room very dark and lights not very bright. Bed was comfortable. Nothing particularly bad but nothing particularly great.

Comfortable modern hotel convenient location overlooking a small dock. As others have noted the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Located just a short 15 minute walk from central station and lots of restaurants and shops. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of tasty options and a lovely view.

It's definitely worth upgrading to a room with a view, preferably facing the water, not the city. Rooms have a funky decor with primary colors and outlandish furniture. But if you want to be a 12-minute walk to Centraal station and near the water, this is a good option. There's not much in the immediate area though. Staff is professional and competent; they helped me when I needed to find a bank, book a taxi, or get an extra towel. Thank you for comping the chocolate from the mini-bar!
