The House Of Horror! Worst hotel ever, the company i work for payed about 4100 euro for 3 rooms for 6 nights. The room I had was not much larger than the bunk bed. Didn't like to walk on the floor in the room without shoes. I arrived late in the evening but when I saw the room I booked a room at another hotel immediately. I rested there one night and checked out the following day. The girl in the reception was very kind and called for a taxi to take me to another hotel. My two colleagues in the other rooms also moved hotel. We don't expect to see any of those money again. If I could rate less than one star I would.

I wouldn't of given such a low rating if it wasn't up for the price. I was not expecting much as it is a 2 star hotel but I paid £360 for a 2 person shared bathroom room for 3 nights. So basically I paid £120 a night for an incredibly small, dirty, bunk bed hostel which is ridiculous. With the standards it should have been no more than £50 a night. If you get a cheap price then do it as it's got a good location but should not be paying anymore than £50 per night max.

Staff, especially on the reception, Devid, Italian guy, in the night and Ms Victoria in the day are very helpful. The money this hotel is charging for this accommodation is on the very higher. Going to the rooms higher floors after the check in, is painful experience, they have stairs of 2 feet width, steep high climb, and you can not climb. They don't have staff to take your luggage.Rooms were clean. I paid 389 euros for 2 nights. But not worth staying. Bathrooms are smallest. No proper lighting inside. Reception staff as well as housekeeping is very cooperative. I was given the room next day on the first floor. Just got rid of climbing up so narrowest stairs in the world. Scary stairs. Tip: avoid staying in this hotel if they charge you the amount of a 5 star hotel because this hotel charges you more than it's worth. It has the positive point of its location near to the city center by trams.

Worst hotel I ever stayed in booked 2 rooms for me and my partner and her parents. Room was filthy looked nothing like any of the pictures bed was filthy bathroom filthy. Tv didnt work no kettle no fridge no hair dryer no tea making facilities in 1 of the rooms. 1 of the evenings there was maggot on the bed. Curtains were half ripped off the window our window view was directly into another room . Have to hand your room key into reception every time you leave. Absolutely shocking and disgusting.

We arrived at the hotel early to leave our bags at reception. The host made us very welcome. We stayed here with friends, we had 2 different rooms, one for 2 people on the 3rd floor with bunk beds (without ladder) and bathroom on the landing, the steps are very steep to go to the upper floors despite this the beds and pillows are comfortable, the shared bathroom is small. The other room of 3 was located on -1 with private bathroom and three beds side by side. You can easily hear the noise of people returning at night. Luckily we were fine, the other travelers were respectful.

Budget hotel should not stand for dirty. The room was filthy, carpets were dirty, bathroom had mold and water was dripping from around the toilet. Bed was disgusting and same with the cover. The room was cold and heating turned on around 4AM. For what the price was there's definitely no proper price/service consideration. The only positive thing about this place is its location

The location was the best part about the hotel. Inside the rooms it looked wonderful upon first glance but there were plenty of flaws; such as the sink not being installed properly and obvious wear and tear on the outward facing wall being covered up by curtains. The staff were absent from the reception esch time we went down, there was an "we'll be back: ___" sign but the time was never filled in. The staff also seemed somewhat rude and as if they didn't want to be nor work there.

Atmospheric housing stock of the old city, good location in the city center, and the stairs to the 4th floor serve as a test of stamina, endurance and sobriety!

Tiny rooms with bolted windows. No vent even in the blind bathroom. The only positive note is that it is located on the canals, between restaurants and coffee shops.

Hello everyone, We spent 5 nights in a double bed room at the Hotel Museum Lane (room 103) and the conditions were not good at all. Even if the hotel is “only” a 2 star hotel. A certain level of cleanliness is required here. The mattress was completely worn out. The duvet and mattress had very large stains under the sheet. There was a lot of dust on the picture hanging on the wall and on the chandelier. The bathroom, which cost us 300 euros extra, was unreasonable. Tiles were broken, the shower curtain was already rotting and the edge of the mirror had severe discoloration. In addition, you couldn't open a window in the room, so there was humidity in the room after showering and we had silverfish in the bathroom. You can find pictures in the appendix. Best regards

If you want to stay in a sauna, this is the perfect hotel. The windows are screwed together and cannot be opened a millimeter. There is also a smelly “air conditioning system” which isn’t really an air conditioning system, but simply blows the stale air out again. The rooms are mini mini small. The bathroom smells awful and there are small air fresheners placed behind the toilet that are supposed to help. For €55 a night it's an absolute disgrace and in my opinion it's not a hotel but hell

Great service and location, rooms are okay but it was extremely hot and stuffy the small fan and dehumidifier didn't provide much relief.

You get what you pay for. The price is perfect for the spot of the hotel.

I have never seen such a disgustig hotel in my life! It smells like mold and we could not open the windows. It was dirty and the beds were unconfortable. Horrible!!

its Location is perfect! However, the negative points from the other reviews are mostly right. It’s just a matter of priorities.

Exactly what I needed for a short stay in Amsterdam. First time visiting the city alone and the room was clean, had an excellent view of Rijksmuseum and it was the perfect location for all tourist attractions like museums, shops, food etc.

We were at the 3rd stage with an amazing museum view. The room and bathroom were clean. There was no air condition but a standing fan. It was good.

The hotel is in a good location only a few minutes walk to the bars and about 10 minutes away from red light district and attractions. We opted for a double bedroom and shared bathroom facilities. The bedroom was ok. The bed was very 'bobbily' and didn't feel very clean. The bathroom was awful. It smelt damp and rotten and the light didn't work, so if you needed to use it at night you had to go in the dark. The staff were friendly but not very helpful. Wouldn't stay again

Hotel location is perfect, 5 min walk to center etc. Stuff is great, ready to help. Room was good.

Really not much of a hotel, I'm afraid. The listing boasted a recent refurbishment but there was no sign of that in the cramped and dingy room I was in. In fairness, the bed was comfortable enough and the bedding clean. But the decor was grubby and the flooring was a random assortment of carpet tiles. The lighting was frustratingly dim. The shower was ok, plenty of hot water. But the mirror was chipped and the shaving light had obviously packed in a while ago. Bizarrely, the black shower curtain was suspended in the centre of the bathroom. There is no food or drink available except for a coffee machine in reception. Far and away the best thing about this hotel is its location in a cool neighbourhood near some great museums and sights. If you want to stay in this area on a tight budget, and only for a night or two, then you might be able to put up with the hotel. But if you've got a few extra euros, then it's probably best to go elsewhere. One last thing: the on-screen menu for the tv in the room was in Polish, which I found perplexing, given that I had taken the trouble to learn Dutch!

We paid 45 euros for a small room. The woman at the lobby was very kind and she gave us a map where she pointed the places we should visit! Below you can see the view from our room

Apart from the fact the Tv didn’t work The toilet was broken The shower head holder was broken Only half the lights worked The beds were the width of a slugs body There was no kettle or cups in the room The windows we’re screwed shut It was filthy Apart from all that it was great. Apparently the building was constructed from bricks and mortar, although that may be a lie One star (At a push)

Hotel in very good location in center of Amsterdam. Very very good location. Staff very cool. Sure shower and toilets not in the room and not luxury but I think when you go in Amsterdam it's better to be in center at a cool price. There are many restaurants around, museums, tram. Warning : if you wanna park car there it's 7,5e per hour so I advise you to leave car in exterior of ring of Amsterdam where you can find free parking very far when search or to reserve parking before coming. Don't park near hotel. When in hotel you can go everywhere by feet too or bycicle like all people . Not necessary in tram. So forget car, don't be focus on luxury, enjoy the location of hotel then enjoy trip and back to sleep in this cheap price hotel.

first of all photos on the website are a completely inaccurate portrayal of the hotel. the service was rude and bizarre, cleaning lady kept coming into our room. it stank of urine and vomit, there was no ladder to get up to the tiny bunk bed. the floor was barely carpeted, with random squares of carpet that didn’t piece together properly so you could see bare concrete underneath. trash under the bed and bin full. shared bathroom that is barely cleaned. upon complaining we received no help whatsoever and the next day the manager conveniently called in sick and refused to answer any calls. the man i spoke to on the front desk was unbelievably rude and actually shouted at me, making hand gestures to imply i was “talking too much”. disgusting. this place is run by chancers who will scam you. booking.com really ought to stop doing business with them.

This was the grossest hotel I have ever seen! We received the underground rooms and the windows could not be opened. The room was very small and smelled bad and you could see mold stains all around. I wouldn't even lock a dog in that, what they call, room!

The hotel is not a hotel, but a hostel. The room I stayed in was on the second floor with two flights of narrow and steep stairs, we were two girls and no one helped us carry the heavy suitcase. The bathroom was not private but external, shared with three other rooms, inside which there was only a tiny window, which could not even be closed completely. The room is literally the size of a sarcophagus, with a bunk bed where we weren't even provided with a ladder to reach the top bunk. The sheets were dirty, full of hair, stains and insects. The towels were probably used by previous guests, holey and stained. The only positive note is the central location, but it still doesn't justify the price we paid. I gave one star because less wasn't possible, run away.

My room was just dirty the bed frame was dusty and the curtains were torn. The window in the room couldn't be opened. There was mold on the tiles in the bathroom and the toilet seat was yellowed. The entire stay was accompanied by the smell of mold and septic tanks I DO NOT RECOMMEND
