WOULD NOT RECOMMEND - STAFF STEAL! My girlfriend and I have recently stayed in this hotel. After returning to our room on the last night of our trip we found that 2 MacBook Air laptops and a brand new watch that I had bought her for Valentines Day had been stolen. These items were hidden away in cases and in rucksacks in the room but all our possessions had been rummaged through and all the zips opened on our bags. The management staff examined the locks on our room and found that 2 people entered the room whilst we were out; a cleaner and their supervisor. There were no signs of break-in and therefore we can confidently say that it was one of these members of staff (and the hotel manager agreed). We reported the incident to the police immediately. These members of staff are still working there! By staying in this hotel we lost thousands of pounds worth of items and in return all we were offered was a refund for the first night (£44 each).

Room is cozy clean and comfortable. They offer tea bag and filter coffee in the room is good. Only heater isn't enough and can't adjust from the wall. The rest are good.

A great hotel for exploring Amsterdam. The sound proof rooms were a main attraction for us as the crowds that tour Amsterdam can get rowdy. Although the other patrons at this place seemed rather considerate. The room was clean and comfortable, a nice place to recharge before spending a day adventuring the city. With tram stops nearby and being really close to Vondelpark it's easy to see what the city has to offer. There are also some nice restaurants and coffee shops in the area. Definitely recommended.

Good hotel, it is advertised outside that check in is at any time but in reality check in is from 3pm and out at 11am (you can pay for early/late check in/out). Rooms are very clean. We stayed in 3 different rooms during the course of our stay. Some were very quiet some were a bit noisy from other guests/the main road outside. Comfy beds. Location is quite far out but near the tram lines 1 or 17 and vondelpark. Only takes 25 mins to get into town.

I don’t say this lightly: A near perfect stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and modern. Spacious for a hotel in the city. Amazing price point. Coffee shop right downstairs. So close to the park, the tram to get to the city center, and other fun things to do. Next time we come to Amsterdam, I look forward to staying here again!

Just "nice and good value for money". Good clean rooms with a funky urban chic vibe. Breakfast is ok. But good front desk and convenience store downstairs. Good transport links into the centre.

The room itself was great (ground floor double), with a sweet view into a courtyard type area and lots of gorgeous light. Bed was very comfortable. Location is nice too. The shower was nice but inconsistent temperature-wise. Coffeeshop in the lobby was…convenient. The barista was inexperienced and the drink was…very surprising. The attached restaurant was alright but the coffee there was quite good. We had an upstairs neighbor who left their phone on the floor and had a phone alarm (or something similar that made their phone vibrate) go off every 20 seconds from 2:30am-4:30. This could happen anywhere, but the (very politely written, I might add) response from a customer service email was to get a room on a higher floor next time. When we were heading out we received a phone call to the room around 11:30 despite signing up for the membership which includes late check out. They were very nice about it being a mistake but after this long night, strange coffee, and a sometimes scalding and sometimes lukewarm shower, it was kind of off-putting. The main reason that we didn’t give it five stars was because we didn’t get good sleep, a hot shower, or good coffee in the morning. The room was so cute that we’re still giving the hotel four stars.

We stayed for three nights and had an overall pleasant experience. Pros: The staff at the front desk are super helpful and nice The early check-in fee was fair Great Shampoo and Conditioner Very quiet room Good location next to the Vondelpark Cons: No View (Looking against a wall) The bathroom seemed semi-clean to us, with a weird smell Conclusion: I would choose this Hotel again for the price you pay and what you get. The positive aspects outweigh the negative, which doesn't seem to be anything they can't work on. Thank you and see you next time!

Everything was great! The rooms are clean, simple but modern (we come to see the city, so all we need from the room is comfortable bed with clean bathroom and this is what we got). Staff - amazing, very helpful, always friendly. The breakfast - delicious. I love that it's only vegetarian with possibility to make it vegan. Location for us was also great, maybe a bit far from the city centre, but there are very convenient bicycle routes, especially the one through the park. Really, a great place to stay.

Straightforward easy hotel, no issues with our stay here. Rooms were clean and there was a tram stop nearby. I liked that you could check in and out on tablets. The TV and remote in our room didn't work sadly. There wasn't much room on one of the sides of the bed (double) to get out of the bed so I bashed my feet a lot, so be aware of that! 🙂

Great hotel supporting an amazing initiative. The rooms were spacious and clean. Bear in mind there is no desk in the room and if you plan to work, perhaps you need to go to the lobby. I found that quite inconvenient as it was a business trip for me. It is close to a park, restaurants and shops. Also, if you are after a venue for an event, the meeting room in the hotel is amazing. It’s fully equipped with coffee area and etc. Definitely recommend it.

Room was big and spacious. Clean. Nice staff. On main road so pretty loud, maybe other side of the building is quite, not sure. Very close to the park and some restaurants Expensive breakfast so didn't try it

Great, funky little hotel. More reasonably priced than other hotels and in a good location. Rooms are fairly small but clean. Front desk service is outstanding! Will stay here again.

What an amazing hotel! From check-in, all through our 3-night day and until the check out everything was smooth, friendly, clean and outstanding l. The room is stylish and pristine. We were glad we opted for breakfast - it’s delicious, lots of variety for vegetarians and vegans and changed a bit every morning. Granolas are especially great. There was no meat or stinky sausages as it aligns with the values of the conscious hotel. Coffee was not so good, but that’s not a big deal, there are hundreds of amazing cafes in the city. The location is great, right next to the huge Vondelpark where you can run, walk or simply chill. Highly recommend the hotel and will be back!

This was a nice little hotel, great value for money, quiet with comfortable beds and friendly staff. The room was basic but clean and quiet, there were plenty of plug sockets but no USB specific ones which was unfortunate, so travel with plug converters. A moderately sized Tv sits at the opposite end of the bed, but most channels don’t have a strong enough signal to be usable, but if you have devices you can plug into the tv. The bed itself was very comfortable, ours had holes in the bedding which the staff changed promptly. The bathroom has a shower only and no bath, but the temperature and pressure of the shower was great. There were very basic amenities; shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion and a hair dryer. The lighting was bright enough and I had no real complaints here. In all it was very comfortable. The staff were lovely and were ready to help with any issues we had, check in and out was easy. In all a basic but clean and comfortable hotel, great staff. The hotel location is at the end of a street populated with plenty of coffee shops and is on the corner of a large park. You’re not far from trams and buses and are well connected to other parts of Amsterdam.

The staff is very friendly and the rooms are big. The room felt pretty basic though for the price and there was dust in lots of places. Sheets and especially towels seemed very used up, water pressure was low and temperature changed constantly. Even with a closed window in the 4th floor we heard the cars and tram outside. „Heating“ was very loud and made some weird noises. So basically everything feels a bit used up. Wouldn’t stay here again for this price.

A relaxed atmosphere, nice people, rental bicycles, good coffee and treats, cozy rooms (perhaps too cozy. We needed and reserved 2 beds in the next-door property, which was closed when we were there. Were given 1 double bed, but it was a comfortable one). Walk out the door to Vondelpark or down the street for shops and food - amazing, peaceful and beautiful location.

We loved our stay here. Walking through Vondel Park in the mornings from the hotel to the main attractions was a great way to start our mornings. The rooms were very big with lovely comfy beds and pillows. A very clean, comfortable hotel. Would recommend!

Lovely hotel, been here several times, usually get a quiet double room to the back yard. Nice staff, clean rooms, good shower, great bed and pillows, easy to get to from the airport by train and a tram, takes half an hour at most. Park and cafes nearby. Good price. Perfect.

Probably the best hotel I have stayed in! Amazing staff so friendly and helpful! Clean room, unique decor, lovely coffee shop, super tasty all vegan restaurant and environmentally friendly! Also held our bags for us on our last day which is always a bonus! Good location aswell! Only downside is it’s noisy outside but that can’t be helped!! Fantastic stay here!!

Comfortable, no frills stay an a great location. The staff here were always helpful at any time of day or night, and the cafe was great to have downstairs for mornings before heading out into the city, and coming back if we needed a late night snack. The day bike rentals helped us navigate more easily like locals as well, and the park was pleasant to have nearby as well. Would recommend to travelers looking for a hotel stay that doesn’t break the bank while visiting the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

Lovely Hotel, staff very friendly, clean and comfortable. Best tasting coffee in the morning too. Check In and check out very efficient and staff are there to help you. Tram stops near by to get to city centre. Would highly recommend a stay here.

I absolutely love this hotel! The rooms and nicely sized, cute, and clean. They provide you with full size bottles of toiletries. Being next to the park is great too and the area is quit lively with many bars and restaurants. The hotel also has a good cafe and restaurant. The wifi is fast and the lobby has a lot of tables which is perfect for working from the hotel if you are a “digital nomad”. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again and again

Stayed there for 2 days. Very nice and cool hotel with self check in and helpful staff. Location is very nice. Neither too far nor too close from Amsterdam central station. Close to Airport also. The tram station is also near from where you can catch a tram and go anywhere. Breakfast is continental and nice. Also 2 indian restaurants nearby within 200 m which is a plus point. Rooms are good and spacious enough. Area also safe. So just go and stay there.........

Overall good for the price! Clean rooms and good facilities etc. Not super central but tram is convenient and works great. One note would be to add shower curtains. Since they are so eco-friendly we found it surprising as the lack of shower curtains made for a very messy bathroom and total waste of water / towels to clean up the mess. Staff could also be friendlier but considering our other Amsterdam experienced, we gather that staff is generally unfriendly in Amsterdam/ Netherlands.

The staff are friendly and helpful really can't say anything about them that isn't positive. The room was so so, there's no kettle/coffee machine in the room itself which is just standard in my opinion, if ibis budget hotels can afford it then this place should also be able to. The reason for only 2 stars on the rooms was the shower, the bathroom was clean but the caulking between the shower floor/walls was full of black mold, at least it is in room 309. I feel like the cleaning staff are likely not given the tools/training to deal with that kind of cleaning and at this point the solution might just be re-caulking the showers which would fall on owners/management not the staff. Also this is just an opinion but the breakfast buffet is rather overrated.

Very nice hotel, with super friendly staff, many quirky decorations, and many details well thought out. The lack of a table in the room was the only fault. The breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was also really good.

Super friendly Check in even though my Card didn’t work at first. They always kept cool and tried to help. The Internet is amazing as well. If i will ever visit Amsterdam again, i will definitely book here again!

Staff was super friendly. The check-in/check-out process was probably the easiest I've ever had. Love the body wash and shampoo/conditioner, too. All around excellent experience and highly recommend. Thank you!

Great hotel close to Vondelpark From start to finish Conscious Hotel The Tire Station delivered. The check-in and check-out experience are easy and the staff is really helpful. They have a coffee shop in the lobby and a small bar that even had kombucha and it is reasonably priced. The rooms are cozy and the ambiance in the hotel is nice. The price is a bit high and our bed was a bit nosy. Also, the street noise can be a bit much for noise-sensitive persons like me. But all in all a good experience 🙌🏼

Fun, colorful, and comfortable hotel right next to the Vondelpark. Very quiet area that’s just a short walk or tram ride away to the best parts of the city. The staff are great, the beds are comfortable, and the rooms feel clean and new. Highly recommend.

Easy access by tram 1 from the City center, many services just around the corner, like market, restaurants, gym, a big park just 50m from the hotel. Rooms are tidy and good for sleeping, normal room. No fridge or kettle for tea/coffee in s room, but there's cafeteria downstairs.

Good hotel away from the main busy centre. Simple check in process and great location from one of the nicest parks in Amsterdam. Room was a decent size. I think the only down side is that the carpet floors in the room could do with a hoover and pillows were not as comfortable as I’d liked but fine otherwise.

A decent hotel in a good part of Amsterdam. Clean rooms is very good, basic. Would recommend. Would suggest having bottles water in rooms for guests.overall a pleasant stay and staff and helpful.

This is probably the best place to stay at a reasonable price in Amsterdam. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere with lovely rooms and tasty coffee. When we’re back in town, we’ll be back.

  • 4/5 Samia H. 2 years ago on Google
Great little hotel. The staff has been very helpful. Coffee at sticky fingers is very good and the breakfast at cafe more is very good (scramble eggs, freshly made pastries, cereal, bread, fruits, juices, etc). Room is very spacious. There are many restaurants, bakery, shops and grocery stores around. Booking the room + parking was a great deal given how expensive parking spaces are in amsterdam. You get the local Amsterdam vibe and the park is next door. But u are not in the center, takes 20mins by tram to get there.
