The hotel was only a few meters from the bus stop and rail terminal which made it very convenient for getting to and from popular destinations. The interior was modern and clean. The concierge and other staff were extremely helpful and had smiles on their faces. The rooms were also modern and clean, and housekeeping came everyday to spruce it up. The breakfasts had a lot of variety and were very delicious. Unlike other hotels the items changed while we were there which made the breakfasts even better from the first day to the last. The ladies who worked in the dinning room were always so friendly and smiled constantly. We all really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the Hampton in Amsterdam Center to everyone.

It is easily accessible by public transport, the staff are friendly and helpful and the place is clean. It's a good idea to bring slippers, at least on the first floor (the heating doesn't help with the cold floor). The windows could use cleaning (but this may be due to the season). Rooms are usable for working on the laptop, the office chair is a good fit. Breakfast was good. All in all, I enjoyed my stay and might come back - but on a different floor.

I would stay here again when visiting Amsterdam. The hotel is close to two tram stations which makes it very easy to get around. All safety measures for covid are taken seriously. The staff is fantastic, the breakfast was plenty. The rooms are comfortable. They also offer limited parking in the garage. I think it's for 8-10 cars in total. We were lucky to get one, but they also offer another option at a P+R nearby.

The staff are so friendly and can't do enough day or night. The room was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and pillows also comfy. Very quiet not much around. If you're looking to get out of the city centre noise this is great only 2 stops on the tram from central station.

Hotel was overall very clean and nearly new. Location wise it is about 80 yards away from a tram stop for lines 7 and 26 (Line 26 takes you to central station in about seven minutes)..... really about as close as you can be without paying Amsterdam Central city hotel prices. Front desk sells tram and event tickets, so that's one less think to think about. Breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of everything you'd need. I'd also highlight the coffee machine, it actually made a pretty good brew. We'd also like to highlight the breakfast attendants, they were friendly and nice. Car parking at the hotel was limited, but we were lucky enough to get a spot in the underground lot beneath the hotel. Never needed the car after that during our three night stay. There was a minor communication issue when we checked in regarding room type, but Carolina made it right and we were satisfied with her solution. The staff here did seem to care about their jobs and the service they provided.... impressive! If we came back to Amsterdam, we'd stay here again.

‏ had an excellent stay at the hotel. The location is fantastic, quiet, and the presence of the tram adds to its appeal. The breakfast was diverse, delicious, and luxurious. The staff members were cooperative, friendly, and welcoming at all times especially: Yordanka ,Roy ,Yasmeen,Sasa,) Sharma) . Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Hampton by Hilton Amsterdam Centre East was a good hotel and good location. It was easy to get to train station to go AMS central. Hotel rooms were clean, and had everything needed. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly, and very helpful. I'd recommend this hotel to travels as a good rate and easy to get to.

Very nice spacious rooms with all the basic needs, the only thing missing is a minifridge. Good location, just across the road from the tram station that will get you to the city centre in less than 10 minutes. The breakfast is still really nice for a cheaper brand of Hilton, huge range of continental items and even a make-your-own waffle maker. The customer service is quite decent, some of the staff looks like they want to help more than others but no one is ever rude. Definitely recommend.

Brilliant location, staff very accommodating and friendly. Loved the size of the room. I'd recommend the hotel to change their pillows as they feel like they're stuffed with bricks 😁 other than that I'd definitely come back as it was so convenient and spacious

We had such a great stay in this hotel! The room was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was amazing and very tasty and the staff was always friendly and helpful (especially Sam). We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone who searches for a nice hotel in Amsterdam! :-)

Special thanks for Sam who was very friendly, informative and friendly. The breakfast was amazing with good food and great quality. The location is great, only one minute walk from the tram that takes you to the main attractions.

Excellent hotel, rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. Fantastic location a few minutes walk from the trams which gets you to Amsterdam Centraal in five minutes. There's also a shopping centre with two supermarkets around a five minute walk away if you need some essentials. So glad I stayed here and will definitely be back soon.

Super impressed with this Hampton. Nicer than any US Hampton by a long shot. Easy to get to from central station, just take the 26 tram. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. One side of the hotel faces the train tracks so I got to watch trains all day. Quiet and clean. It’s not really by any of the main tourist attractions but that kept the crowds down in my opinion.

Lovely place with a few parking spaces in the underground garage. Public transportation is 5 minutes walking distance and centre of the town 2 -3 stations ahead. Breakfast buffet was also served with plenty of selection.

Great hotel! Very close to the train station, like 3 minutes walk and less than 10 minutes you are at the central station, very convenient. Breakfast was very good too. Thank you for the great stay!

Wonderful service. Carolina at reception was fantastic. She really helped us with our travels. The room was a little strange. No storage at all. Coulee difficult if you were staying more than a few days. Had to live out of suitcases. The room was huge and had a wonderful view. Very clean. The breakfast was fantastic. Like a banquet.

Professional and helpful staff, not only receptionists but also cleaning and breakfast crew who go above and beyond. Comfortable bed and pillow, excellent sound proofing. Easy to reach many central destinations including the train station using tram.

The team at Etatron GB had a great 2-night stay here. Great breakfast, reasonably good location for our purpose and wonderful staff. We would to personally thank Sam at reception for his continuous effort to make our stay wonderful. He recommended restaurants, provided umbrellas and was a laugh throughout. We would be more than likely to go back for business purposes and even at our leisure.

Clean spacious room. Very nice staff. The breakfast has various choices and fresh ingredients. We ordered a pizza one night because we came in late and it was great !

very good - the only disadvantage was the limited number of parking lots, but it is Amsterdam. It is a good quality hotel, the rooms would be eligible for 4 stars else where. I would not recommend the hotel meals. The breakfast was just ok, but appropriate for a 3-star hotel.

I had an amazing experience at Hampton by Hilton. It was my husband's birthday and they prepared a cake, balloons and champagne for us! We loved! Besides that, the hotel is really well located, the rooms are comfortable and completely silent and the breakfast is delicious! We strongly recommend! :)

I slept really well here, good beds and thick curtains! The room looked very nice, the breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly. Location is good: close to tram stop and easy bike access to the rest of the city. Only con was no mini fridge in the room.

Extremely friendly staff. The location is great too. Close to two important tram and train lines.

We were here for 3 nights and left very satisfied. Rooms were very clean and staff was extremely helpful. Breakfast were nothing special, but they were satisfying. Location is quiiet and has grocery store within walking distance. Tram station is close and is 3 stations away from Amsterdam Centraal. Only thing we were missing is a fridge within the room but this is an extremely minor complaint. Definitely recommend this place!

This hotel is so very nice! Most of the front desk workers were overly kind...one did seem a bit annoyed when I asked for ice (which they didn't have). But other than that small incident it was a very lovely experience.

The staff here are all so friendly. The room is large and very comfortable. I had beer and pizza in the lobby the first afternoon here. The beer was really good and the pizza wasn't too bad either. And the breakfast is fantastic!

12/27/2023 - 12/31/2022 We had a nice stay at the Hampton and the folks at the desk were super nice. My family enjoyed the breakfast and we even had pizzas made at the desk one evening that we didn't want to venture out into the cold. It is very easy to get to the train, so getting around was pretty easy. My only complaint is that we pretty much just to take the train to get to dinner. We found Czar easy to get to and it was good, but we were sort of limited. Otherwise, it worked out very well. Our rooms were plenty big, clean, and up to date.

Perfect place to stay when you visit Amsterdam. With good public transport facilities to bring you to the key tourist parts downtown.

We enjoyed our week-long stay! The front desk could not of been more patient and helpful. The hotel is neat and clean. It's close to a tram station making it easy to get around. We appreciated starting each day with a beautiful breakfast buffet. Thank you a great staff for a wonderful stay!

Rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. We also really liked the breakfast, plenty of choice! The hotel is very close to the tram station, so it was very easy to reach the city centre or the train station. Thank you to the staff, they made our stay perfect!

Everything room design element has been well thought through, but for; 1. Shower recess doesn't have a door, so a wet bathroom floor and bath mat are unavoidable. 2. No room refrigerator, microwave or toaster Having identified those deficiencies, it has to be said, the breakfast is excellent for breadth of tasty, healthy choices and quality. The location, while not central, has great access to the public transport network. This hotel has been one of the best in which we have stayed, and certainly the best value.

Location > Close to places and tram Breakfast > Very good Front office and kitchen personal were smiling. BUT; When making the reservation 2 months ago we requested a high floor and quiet room. The hotel was given a room on the 1st Floor and next to the elevator, at the beginning of the corridor leading to all the other rooms. Room > Very very small & No mini bar - No refrigerator

Great location, consistent friendly Hilton service and very clean rooms. Awesome full hot breakfast and decent bar for evening cocktails and the pizza is also tasty. Staff is great at getting discounts to tourist attractions and also rents bicycles.

1st, the morning breakfast was superb. Probably the best Hamptin breakfast I have ever had. Great selection, friendly staff, and really clean. The 2 main service ladies went out of their way to keep things clean and full. Really nice and friendly. Room was clean and well attended. Things were not working properly...bathroom faucet was loose and flopping around, paper holder was loose and fell off. Shower was great. Location is not desirable. Off the beaten path, and a long walk to anything you might want to do. Restaurants and shopping are over a mile away. They have very nice bikes to rent for $17 for 24 hours, and they were fairly new. A bit too much at $250 a night, but didn't have comparisons to other hotels closer to activities. Overall, I would stay again, but might look for something closer to Central Station.

I was not with the stay. I did not get the room that I confirmed over the phone on the day I arrived. The I got had a stained (possibly filthy) carpet. I can only assume that an earlier customer complained and the switch rooms. I strongly recommend you bring disposable slippers if you go here. Worst Hilton brand hotel I have ever been to.
