Worst hotel ever. Dirty and old and loud and stinks. The light in the toilet turns randomly off. The toilet is shared and tiny. I got bitten by bed bugs. Disgusting.

Stayed for two nights in a quad bed family room. Basic hotel with a shared toilet and wash basin in the room. Unfortunately, lots of pigeons seemed to live nearby and were a fairly constant noise, although not the hotels fault. Good location near Chinatown and the Red Light district with plenty of places to eat and drink very close by. Lots of power points in the room, so no trouble charging all of our phones etc. The walls are thin, so we could hear snoring from an adjacent room, again, not the hotel’s fault.

Lovely place to stay in Amsterdam! With nice view of canals and a great location. The service is good too,and a really cute cat!!!! Only a little problem that we can sometimes hear the party at night even with the windows closed. :')

Please, please do not be tempted to stay in this hotel. Our twin-room, up some extremely narrow and steep stairs, was very small and ultra basic - just two beds, some shelves and a basin. No bathroom, no tea/coffee making, no phone, no TV, nothing. The room strongly stank from some unknown cause - not cigarette smoke. There was a small upholstered footstool that was heavily stained and filthy. The carpet was very badly stained and we suspected that was where the smell came from. No chairs or desk. The 'free wifi throughout' did not work in our room. I can honestly say this is worst hotel room I have ever seen or been in. The two staff guys were rude, abrupt, cocky and arrogant. The whole place had a distinctly dodgy and unsafe feel about it. We could not have gone out and left anything of value in our room. Even though we had paid, after an hour we walked out and booked in at a decent hotel. There was no way we could have slept in that place. Totally disgusting.

HORRIBLE! This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The toilet is disgusting, there’s no room service, no cleaners at all apparently. The staff - one south asian old man is really rude. He’s just rude with everything and not helpful with information even from the hotel. The other staff, young guys, all very nice! Location is good.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. You have a tax of 23 euro on checking. The place is not quiet at all. People keep on walking in the corridor, and they keep on using the toilet , which is shared. No lifts it's a 3 floor hotel. You can hear people talking from other rooms. The heater was not working properly. 😕

When we booked this place for 4 people it was costing us 97euro each. We arrived in amsterdam Saturday morning and couldn’t check into the hostel till 2 oclock. We were charged 150 each just for one night! A pure rip off.. the beds were dirty. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here at all.. money grabbers. Stay well clear of this place!

Bearing in mind this is a one star hotel, one cannot expect it to come with 5 star facilities. In my view, here are the plus and minuses; plus - super central location (4 minute walking distance from Central Station), the room we had (3 bed sharing bathroom-306) had a gorgeous view of the canal. Beds were comfy, clean bedding and duvet, sink in bedroom. Hotel happy to hold luggage for you on day of departure. Minus-it is basic accommodation so don’t expect luxury. Bathroom and toilet were shared but it didn’t bother us as we never had to wait for toilet or shower to become free. Staff is a bit hit and miss; most of them were friendly.

Please be clear this is a budget hotel. So my rating is based on the great price relative to a chain. This is not the Marriott! I had a tiny single room with a bed, table, sink and small cabinet. It was clean. The bathroom and shower are separate outside the room, with one set on each floor. I'm not sure but maybe some rooms include their own bathroom. The stairs are really narrow, and it's a bit of a hike to the 4th floor. But the location is excellent. Easy walking from the Centraal station. On the edge of where all the sights are at night. Was perfectly comfortable and safe.

Not bad, a little cramped and old, but it's what you expect. Very nice cat wandering the halls. Bathrooms are disgusting.

I used to stay here a lot years ago when it was under different management, and it was pretty good. But it's a place to avoid nowadays.

Budget hotel, which is in Amsterdam redlight area! Room has shared toilet and bath rooms. Spacious bed rooms with sealed windows. This should be fine for the people who just need a place to stay..

Nice people. Rooms bit less than expected but overall worth the money for short stay groups or singles. Would not recommend to couples though. Otherwise nice and easy. As it should be for a cheap hotel.

Good for value in the heart of Amsterdam, and they have a cat in the lobby.

I Stayed at this hotel in January for 2 nights. As I was a solo traveller, I didn’t really want to spend much on a hotel and saw this one going into it I had no expectations but when I arrived at the hotel, they let me Check in 4 hours before I was allowed and as I overslept I missed the 11am check out and wasn’t ready till 1pm but there was no hassle and 5the lady on reception was more than okay with it. many times throughout the stay I was in and out of the hotel and every time was greeted by the people working not just one of the workers but all 3 of them were very present. The shower was very clean and the toilet you couldn’t really go wrong and the hotel was in an amazing location, just a road or so near the Red Light District and about 7-10 minutes from the train station and I would definitely recommend to stags lads/girls weekend etc and would 100% stay here again.

The room is very small. And it was on 4th floor without lift. The shared bathroom is on different floor. Not convenient if you have luggage. Location of hotel is good.

We were worried about the ratings about the cleanliness. The sheets and towels were clean though. Rooms and facilities are a bit grotty but you don't come out of the showers feeling dirtier than you went in. Stairs are narrow, everything is a bit run down but that's to be expected for the 1* rating. All in all pretty much as expected. One of the guys at reception is lovely and friendly, the other is a bit grumpy. They have somewhere to leave suitcases for when you check out. Location is absolutely amazing. That's the reason to stay here.

The bedbug warnings were right. I got eaten alive by bed bugs and have bites all over my body. The location is perfect. The room had everything I needed. Decor is a bit depressing. Would not stay again due to the bed bugs. I am still scratching...at least its not monkeypox I suppose.

very bad, they confirm you first they ask you for the bank account everything is correct and at 24 hours they cancel everything. They canceled my room.

Booked this place for kings day 2020. Obviously covid stopped this trip. I had contact with the hotel, several unanswered emails and one email that basically told me where to go. I called into the hotel they sorted out an alternative stay. Its a very budget hotel, pay the extra for somewhere nicer. If you don't have the money its OK, good location.

Can I rate less than 1 star please?! Absolute disgrace of a building that masquerades with the title of a "hotel". I could look past the blandness of the room which is reminiscent of poorer student lodgings but I think the staff have disgraced themselves enough that I could not possibly do that. This place has fleeced me of my money! My booking deposit was never given back which amounted to the full cost of my room for 2 nights. The hotel staff could care even less because they haven't responded to my complaint timely. What a joke. AVOID if in Amsterdam guys. Find somewhere central that is not a con job!

This hotel is pretty expensive for what it gives. The room is small and there are many stip steps for climbing to the room. The room was clean and also the shared toilet and shared shower (not the same room). This hotel will be an option for me to stay in the next time when im Amsterdam but it will be one of my last options. Located close to the red lights district.

I was expecting small and wasn't disappointed. However as I was travelling alone I didn't mind at all. The room was tiny but comfortable, right at the top and with no bags wasn't an issue. Location was the best as it was 550m from Amsterdam Centraal, in the middle of the "Red Light" district and just 2km from the Heineken Experience.

100% satisfied with customer service. Get me hot water. Hold luggage, tell me all the stuff around. They well communicate in English. The stair is small and the street maybe loud get into your room but we can expect from the old building. It is shared bathroom and toilet so don’t expect too much . Clean enough for 3 stars hotel.

I didn't make the booking so I was unaware you didn't have your own toilet or shower. You have to share with others. Which wasn't a big problem but wasn't how I'd of wanted it. The service was great staff very attentive and there's a resident cat. Which was nice. Great location. Just check and check again how much you'll be charged. The price we were sold wasn't what we paid. For what I paid I could of stayed at a 3 or 4 star for the 2 nights I was there. And I'd of had all the amenities.

😐 It is a large, somewhat impersonal, completely unshaded and extremely noisy campsite (we were in the tented section).Noisy because there is a large multi-lane bridge nearby, which is still very busy at night. Also noisy because of the "cigarette smokers". There are no rules and regulations - or if t...
