I love the staff at this hostel. They are so accommodating. The location is excellent. You can't beat their prices either. The room is pretty basic. It looks clean. I had to leave the hostel and downgrade the rating though for the bugs there. There are bed bugs for sure. Also whenever I ran my room light at night wasps would crawl out of the light fixture and dwell on the roof (even with window closed, they are already nested up there). My first night I woke up to a fully grown adult bed bug, that recently fed, on my pillow.

Stayed here in February 2020, the staff was really nice and helpful. They have free breakfast. This is a Christian hostel, however they are not pushy at all about religion. Can’t wait to come back. And I met such an amazing girl from Switzerland :)

The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! 10/10 to the staff! The dorms were big, with 12 beds, but didn't lack any comfort. The location was very strategic. The free & delicious breakfast completed the picture.

Nice and friendly staff. The blond girl I don't know the name that has a very beautiful smile makes anyone feel welcome. Thanks for being so kind. The hostel is nearby any frank house and you have bus directly to aiport a few meters. It serves break fast it's clean and safe. The price also worth. It can be a little bit far from central Station but you can grab bus or that little train to there without issues.

The night shift staff was a bit rude and condescending. No common areas available in the early morning to just chill in before an early flight. And as a solo backpacker, it’s not really a good place to meet other people. However, the day staff were super nice, they packed breakfast for me in the morning, the bathrooms were big, and the bed was comfortable, all the guest were respectful. It was pretty quiet at night to have a good nights rest.

Good hostel with affordable price for bachelors

(19th-23rd July 2011) For a cheap hostel shared amongst five 18 year old guys as we were at the time, I couldn't complain. It was really close to the centre of Amsterdam so we could get anywhere by walking, plus it was close to all the good tourist hotspots. Ideal for younger backpackers and travellers.

The breakfast was delicious, with different options everyday. The staff was very nice and kind and very helpful. the location was fantastic. Dorms were very clean with good mattress. I will surely recommend it to you.!

They have the best hot chocolate, its so good that i wouldn't mind coming back to Amsterdam just for this ! Also, about the hostel, the staff’s nice and welcoming, the amenities and cleanliness are maintained well too !

It has a very nice ambient, as it is supposed to have as a Christian organization. All the attendants are polite and friendly people. The breakfast is simple but good. The bads are comfortable. The bathroom smells bad sometimes and the water from the shower doesn't go away too easily. The Internet in the second floor is very weak.

Really great community! The hostel was very cosy. They have some events. I didn't participate in so many, but the Dutch food tasting was really nice. The beds and bathroom is what you would expect. Would go there again!

Well worth your time to check this place out. Good prices, friendly staff, activities, and reasonably priced dinners! If not a fan of bunk beds... then remember to ask for a lower bunk when making reservations. This is a Christian owned and run facility!

The rooms were very clean. So were the bathrooms. The cafe downstairs was super nice. The food wasn't amazing just very basic. The location was amazing though. Some complaints I have is the Wi-Fi was almost non existant in the boys dormitories. Also instead of giving a key card like most hotels and hostels, they give you a paper ticket instead and you're required to show it every time which was annoying. I lost it twice, its very easy to lose. A magnetic card and scanner at the entrance would be so much better.
