Overlooking the main square, this is my favourite hotel to stay at when I stay in Amsterdam. A unique top end boutique hotel. The rooms are large, creatively designed and comfortable. I love the jacuzzi by the bed. Nice bar with great cocktails, very varied and quality breakfast and a beautiful restaurant.

The employees here are phenomenal! They work to ensure you have anything you need, and they are spectacular at predicting wants. Spacious rooms with good amenities. Good bar and restaurant as well.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the most delightful hotel during our vacation, and it exceeded all our expectations in every possible way. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we knew we had chosen the right place for our stay. The hotel's commitment to being LGBTQ+ friendly was evident from the warm and inclusive welcome we received. The room we stayed in was simply outstanding - it felt more like a luxurious apartment than a typical hotel room. Spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with top-notch amenities, it provided the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The attention to detail in the room's design and layout was impressive, and we instantly felt at ease as if we were in our own private oasis. One aspect that truly stood out for us was the impeccable cleanliness of the entire hotel, including our room. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job of maintaining a spotless environment throughout our stay, which contributed to the overall sense of luxury and comfort. Dining at the hotel's restaurant was an absolute treat! The culinary experience was one of the highlights of our stay. The menu offered a diverse range of delectable dishes, and each plate was prepared to perfection. We savored every bite while enjoying the elegant ambiance and attentive service provided by the restaurant staff. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. From the front desk personnel to the restaurant servers and housekeeping staff, every member of the team treated us with genuine warmth and hospitality. They were not only attentive to our needs but also took the time to engage in friendly conversations, making us feel like part of their extended family. Speaking of amenities, the room was equipped with everything we could have possibly desired and more. The attention to detail extended to the in-room facilities, which included modern appliances, comfortable furniture, and a well-stocked mini-bar. The hotel's commitment to creating a luxurious and comfortable experience was evident in every aspect of the room's design. Thank you Sam & Sam

To this date the most memorable and exclusive hotel experience of my life. The service, the rooms, the design, everything is tailored to a harmonious and tranquil hideaway that leaves you speechless. Sometimes i was just in awe, wondering around, thinking if there is something beyond this possible. The in room michelin dining experience is strongly advised ;)

My daughter and I stayed here during our month trip through Europe and this hotel ended up being a great experience for us. We appreciated the attention to detail in such a busy city. It is clear that the owner takes pride in this hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and the location is fantastic! We were able to walk to so many places easily, and even though it’s right on Dam square, it was very quiet in the room. Beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms are huge! Amazing showers! We will be back!

Went to their cocktail bar as I love buildings in art deco style and I was excited to see the inside architecture. I was also contemplating if I should book a little hotel staycation here. The cocktails and service are exquisite, and I loved how knowledgeable the staff was about their liquors. However, what I did not like that much was the branding of the place, and the atmosphere it created. It was so one the nose that I found it a bit vulgar, and as a woman I don't feel like going back there and supporting this place. For example they have cocktails named "the gold-digger", "the hundred dollar bill", attracting the kind of people who see humour in that and who may even enjoy adopting that narrative. At the bar there was a guy with a way younger girl who seemed to have met for the first time, and at the table next to us there was a guy in a suit going on "frequent bathroom breaks", loudly on the phone the entire time, with ofcoooourse a bottle of champagne. It definitely has a certain crowd I guess, and I find it far from sophisticated.

One of the coolest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Our suite was amazing, and the food was exceptional. Without a doubt one of the best tasting menus we’ve had and the tasting breakfast is a must have experience.

If you're seeking an exquisite hotel in the center of Amsterdam, Hotel TwentySeven is the place. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Location: Set in a beautiful architecturally impressive building on Dam Square overlooking the Royal Palace. Everything you could want is within walking distance. Hotel: Clearly no expense was spared in the development of the hotel. It's only four years old and everything is fresh and perfect. Only 16 rooms and all our stunning suites. Rooms: WOW, just WOW. Spacious, beautifully done with high-quality materials. Herring bone wood floors, steam showers, 3 shower heads in the shower, incredible marble work, lighting control to select any color/mood, 4-paned windows make the room absolute silent. High ceilings, incredible furnishings, and the most comfortable beds. Super high-end coffee maker. Lalique toiletries...the list of great things is endless. (When we looked at the website, we thought it wasn't our style and a little dark, but the photos do not do justice to the hotel. It's a wonderful sanctuary that you'll love and won't want to leave) Staff: Outstanding! The staff sets a whole new level in defining Hospitality. We were told if we needed anything, we would have it within minutes. And, it's true, we wanted a bucket of ice and a lime. I didn't think they'd have a lime on hand, but in less than 5 minutes the bucket of ice with perfectly sliced limes arrived. Need a car, dinner recommendations...anything, they make it happen. Bar: Hip hang out with creative drinks. One drink had liquid nitrogen and you can breath 'smoke' Hard to explain, but the couple next to us loved it. Quite the experience. And, it feels so private, like a members club. We've stayed in some incredible hotels over the years--from Ritz Paris, FourSeasons, Aman Hotels, Montage, and Mandarin Orientals--and Hotel TwentySeven is right up there. Absolutely a wonderful stay. Thank you to all at the Hotel TwentySeven.

We had a lovely stay there. Excellent experience. Very spacious bathroom with all the amenities you could need. Our favourite part ot the room was obviously jacuzzi. We ordered room service at night, tasty burgers with fries and champagne. Morning breakfast that was served in the room was various and more than enough for two people.

Beautiful boutique hotel perfectly centered in the heart of Amsterdam. Everyone is warm and welcoming and the rooms are well appointed. TwentySeven rivals the Waldorf for my favorite Amsterdam hotels and it feels like an edgier more rock listening cousin to the more classical listening Waldorf. While I enjoy both I’m glad options exist and I’m sure I’ll be back to each of them depending on the trip. The bar is fantastic and has an excellent cocktail menu with unique twists on some classics , the bee sting was a delightfully unique interpretation. The breakfast is can’t miss and seems more like a tasting menu 9 course experience than it does a breakfast. If you are on the fence about staying here, I say book now. I can’t imagine regretting it.

The cocktail bar is exceptional. The bartender Juan is knowledgeable, friendly, hospitable, and a great host. If you like cocktails; Juan's knowledge of classic and pre-prohibition cocktails is world class and not to be missed.

Without a doubt the best hotel in Amsterdam. Excellent staff, providing impeccable service in a spectacularly designed setting. Owner seems personally involved in running the business to make sure guests have an experience second-to-none.

Booked this hotel last minute, and it exceeded my expectations. The service was great and so were the rooms. However, the decor suits a specific niche so it might not please everyone. The food was decent. Overall, it is one of the best hotels I've stayed in during my trips to Europe. Looking forward to visit again.

I have been frequenting Amsterdam for years and when travelling I always look for the finer hotels to stay. Having done many of the luxury and bespoke hotels in the Dam I was recommended this one by a good friend. This hotel is at the pinnacle of Dam luxury. The service is exceptional. The rooms exquisite. The location perfect. Pricing fair and the uniqueness is miles apart. This will now be my go to hotel when in the Dam and I highly recommend you stay here. If you do stay, ensure to flavour the food.

This is truly an exceptional place. The attention to detail and the go beyond attitude of the staff is mesmerising. And the warmth that the suites, the restaurant and spaces full of decorations provide is phenomenal. If you stay here you definitely have to eat in their restaurant Bougainville. Every dish surprises you full of flavors and textures you haven't sensed before. And their sommelier offers you the best wines to accompany your course, even for the most demanding individuals.

We were at the restaurant Bougainville. In the lobby we said that we ordered a cab after which the guy told us to just walk over to the taxis on Dam. They all refused us and in another hotel they told us they were notorious cab drivers. We’re Dutch and even from Amsterdam but as a hotel of this quality you can’t send people to walk (on heels) to dubious taxis when it’s freezing outside. Let your guests wait inside for their taxi to arrive. We did not stay in the hotel, didn’t see the rooms, elevator was slow.

What a high-quality hotel! Situated in a historical building at Dam Square, so it is super central, this hotel is amazing. We stayed in the hotel at Christmas and had diner in Michelin star rated Bougainville restaurant. The combination is just prefect! The reception at the hotel was warm en professional. We had a suite on the fourth floor, overlooking Dam Square. On arrival the butler was awaiting us at the elevator leading us to our suite. in the suite, a waitress waited for us with a cocktail, The suite was very luxurious, crystal clear and warm decorated. A bathroom with a spacious jacuzzi, double shower/sauna. The king size bed was just perfect to sleep well. Several pillows to choose from. Lights, air conditioner and temperature are to be adjusted by touchscreens. But what makes this hotel extra special is the service of every member of the staff. They really make the stay something special.

We stayed a few nights as a stop over to go to our next destination. It was Beautiful and the decor was stunningly done. The bed and room was clean and fresh, the bathrooms are Devine. I loved the fact that there was a Dyson hairdryer. Made life easier to blowout my hair. We ate at restaurant Bougainville and that was such a treat. This restaurant should have more than a star. The drinks were perfect! The only down side of the hotel was that the smoker guests were right outside the front lobby door and being a non smoker that was a bit of a bummer. If you have a chance to stay at Hotel 27 I highly recommend.

Not recommended. My friend had booked a room and asked if he could pay at the hotel and this was possible. In the meantime, they have canceled the booking and raised the price, in order to be able to close a better deal. It is a pity that the experience I expected from this hotel is not reflected in the service. We stay at Conservatorium, the TwentySeven hotel has lost a potential regular customer!

atmospheric place, in the very center of Amsterdam, the bartender prepares amazing cocktails, I have never tried anything like this) but the price is not cheap, for 3 cocktails I paid about 50 euros, but it was worth it)

One of the best suites I've ever stayed in. The Tower Suite is fantastic and incredibly impressive, walking up the stairs to the tower is so cool. The staff were so friendly and professional, I have nothing bad to say at all. Be sure to try out the hotel bar!

Hotel TwentySeven is a unique boutique hotel that goes above and beyond in every way, from unique room design to close personal attention to your needs. We instantly felt at home. The central location gave us easy access to everything we wanted to see in the city. This hotel made for a perfect anniversary getaway. Highly recommended!

Hotel 27 is one of kind. We have stayed in some beautiful hotels but our children were speechless here. We were there last year for my daughter 20th birthday and Father’s Day. Our stay was unforgettable thanks to the staff. Rooms are immaculate (If sometimes difficult with the high level of technical gadgets. The butler had to help us with the tv 2x. Which was absolutely no problem but it can be a little daunting) I love the style of interior and the bedding and beds were so comfortable! We had a lovely meal at Bougainville. It was a shame we only stayed one night.

Had a wonderful afternoon of drinking cocktails in the bar. Each of the drinks was prepared with care and tasted fantastic. The surroundings are lovely. The service was exemplary - Jerome is an asset to the hotel, and gave the best bar service we'd ever had. A very memorable (although we got a bit tipsy...) afternoon. Totally recommended.
