After checking in they told us what room we were in and pointed us to the stairs, we walked to the very top of 5 floors before coming back down again, with all of our luggage.. this was very difficult as every step was about as thick as my passport and the steepest I'd ever seen. When we got back to the bottom we asked where our rooms were and she said on minus one. We went down a set of steeper stairs and found our rooms to have broken windows, radiators hanging off the walls and cheap cladding... the cost of the hotel was pretty cheap so this was to be expected to a certain extent. Convenient location and has a random cat that follows you into your room..

It is in a very convenient position between the museums and the city center but the room was very very small for the price I paid. However it was clean and relatively quiet.

The room was clean and small (as expected for the price). Our main point of criticism is that our window was at street level and we had the feeling we were laying with our heads on the Heineken plein as it let all sounds through.

Cheap but mediocre breakfast with very limited choice. Some handicaps: no glass in the room for tooth brushing. The shower room cannot be closed so that it can be chilly after done showering. The shower water is weak and not hot enough so that you can be cold. The noise of others opening and closing doors are too vivid even if you closed your door. The house price is not even cheap!

Strange smell in room, uncomfortable sheets, room wasn't completely cleaned beforehand, there was a complete lack of air conditioning and the window would not remain open. There was also a wasps nest outside my window which resulted in unwelcome visitors had I managed to open the window.

The room was exactly the photos shown on the internet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great and safe to walk around. Bus 197 is THE transportation to airport, very convenient!

This place doesn't deserve even a star! This is the WORST PLACE I've ever been. Small and dirty room, with even smaller bathroom. The place is really ugly and the receptionist are even worse than the place. I will tell everyone I know NOT to come here. Worst. Place. Ever.

The staff is very friendly and the location of the hotel is great. The rooms were small and it was very difficult to move or spend time there.

I haven't been able to remember the name of this dump until now when I'm booking to bring my friends to this beautiful city. I stayed here in April 2012, my partner and I foolishly allowed ourselves to let a travel agent sort out the details as we'd never booked our own holiday before. We arrived in the small, stinking "lobby" to be greeted by the polar opposite of a smile then we're told we had to pay for breakfast but it was already included in our fees after some back and forth he agrees and gave us the key to our room, after a terrifying trip upstairs in the dodgy cupboard lift the key didn't work. Finally got in to the room, there was a non isolated electrical outlet by the sink! The bed closest to the window meant that my feet sometimes hit the window in the night, the window frame moved and was merely being held up by scaffolding, had that given way it was a sheer drop on to patio. The room was filthy and so small my other half had trouble making a video about the size, the only way we didn't lose it was to laugh about it! The first morning there was absolutely no hot water! Their response was "we notified you" after emerging blue and in tears at how bad our holiday had started I can assure you we were not notified! BREAKFAST! Haha, I wouldn't feed it to a starving stray. It had been around so long the cheese and meat curled round on themselves with stale edges, the tea and coffee was awful but at least it was there and our other options were stale rice cakes or cereal and sugary juices from a machine, we could only get refreshments during breakfast times then all the drinks machines were shutdown and could only apparently be opened by a small child with a key when he wanted to help himself. We were caught sneaking food in and they weren't happy. We were eaten alive by bed bugs and I didn't feel clean the whole time I was there. The staff were rude and unhelpful, worst place ever! This did have a silver lining! We saw so much of the city because we never wanted to be in this awful dwelling and completely fell in love with it. Stay here of you love not having access to drinking water and really enjoy the smell of sewers.

Great location, cheap, friendly staff, no balcony but window opened well enough and coffeshops within a 2 min blazey walk. Would recommend to a friend.
