ibis budget is conveniently located near the Schiphol Airport and provides free full-day transfer to and from the airport without reservations. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and full of amenities. The showers are open to the room rather than in a separate bathroom, so this arrangement works better for couples. The general atmosphere seems young, almost like a youth hostel. Overall, this is a recommended place to stay for its convenience and amenities; however, based on the level of quality, this "budget" hotel should cost much less than the neighboring ibis airport hotel.

The Hotel itself really had me impressed. For the price, it is a very good value. Nothing to complain about with the room. The staff was also very friendly. One major gripe though... The room is a very good value, but they charge an enormous rate for parking. It costs €19 per night which adds significant cost to stay. Not too big of a deal, but definitely noteworthy if you have a vehicle

Pretty small, would be a tight squeeze with 2 people in the room, luggage ect. You are really stuck out in the middle of nowhere though. And they don't run the shuttle very often , so makes for a long wait , and when it does come, it's too full and some people get left behind, hope they did not miss their flight.

I have booked this budget hotel very close to the airport by accident. I have been accommodated many times at ibis hotels and in great surprise I found this cheap option very interesting. The room is just basic but very clean, bed comfortable, room temperature good and overall appearance good. This hotel option is for people they don't want to spend a lot of money but still they need flexibility, safety and good service. The reception staff are excellent. There is a shuttle bus complimentary almost 24 hours from and at the airport, which is very convenient if you're a frequent traveller. At the reception area there are some refreshments and basic food. Generally if you want to keep it simple this is the perfect option as rooms are cheap. Highly recommended 👌

Good check-in, clean rooms, nice staff. But... no cash allowed. I tried to pay my breakfast with 2 different, valid and working cards. (This happens very often in the Netherlands!) So, no coffee in the morning.... not very nice.

I have read some of the negative reviews here and all I can say is that I must have been staying at a different hotel. Yes, it's compact, but for a night or one-day transit, it's ideal. When I arrived, the reception staff were friendly and efficient. I really didn't know what to expect of the room but when I got there (203) it was spotless. Not large but completely functional and ideal. GREAT shower. Decided ai needed a snack for dinner and went to the self-service area. The machine wouldn't accept a card but did cash. The reception lady arranged that for me. Shuttle bus is perfect. Really, I can't fault this hotel. Would definitely stay again.

It's a functional and simple hotel. They are doing some works on the ground floor at the moment, and the reception and breakfast area are not in use. It would have been nice to be notified about that before arrival. The shuttle to the airport is free, yet the morning we needed it, it was neither on time nor had space available after having collected passengers at the other nearby Ibis. So we could not take it at the time we needed it. This resulted in us taking a taxi. In the end, it's a cheap hotel, but it's not *that* cheap so to justify all these limitations.

For the price that we paid, we received exactly what we paid for. Cozy, very small rooms, you get everything you need: a bed, shower, bathroom and heating. Staff very friendly and attentive. I would definitely choose this hotel again if we're on a budget.

Very functional hotel. We stayed one night before my wife had to take a plane from Schiphol Airport. We checked in around 8pm. Had a good night's sleep and checked out by 7am. The room was fitted with a bunked. Single on top and double on the bottom. Perfect for our family. We had our 4yo with us who used the top bunk while I slept with my wife in the bottom bunk. Perfect location to take off to the airport. Very costly parking though...

The beds were really comfortable. We did not have a hair dryer but maybe they offer if you ask at the reception. The room is pretty small. I really liked that they have a free bus shuttle service to the airport.

Clean, well priced, lovely staff. Free bus to and from airport. Ibis is first drop off, Ibis budget is 2nd but nearby. The burger restaurant has lively staff. The lady working suggested the chicken 🍔 prob the best I've had. They are many food and drink options which are easy after a long trip.

Shuttle was on time and great! Check in was nothing to write home about but it was informative and quick. The room was decent but not cleaned well. The toilet is a tight space, which is fine for this hotel and rate, but the wall had something on it... I hate to imagine what it was but there us literally only a toilet so my imagination developed some gross options. The top bunk had food trash from previous guest... just a few obvious things that made me cautious.

The room had a modern look and was newly redecorated. The only thing that had bothered me was the cold floor for which you had to have slippers on to walk on. Easy access to public transport. Overall great value for money.

Great location considering the price you pay. The rooms were very clean and looked after. Diana at reception answered all our queries and gave us a bit of advise with public transport and how to go around the town. If you're staying there I would definitely recommend buying public transport pass which will be much cheaper than buying individual tickets (it's €24 for 2 day pass which includes ALL transport - bus/metro/train/tram - and of course covers the airport area).

The room was quite small. The shower bit a bit dated. Toilet almost too small to enter. BUT! it's enough to survive:) Service at the reception was very helpful! There is a shuttle bus which will take you to the airport (free of charge) every 30 min. There is also a bus stop about 5 min walking from the hotel . Line 397 will take you to Amsterdam in about 30 min. Return ticket is around €10. The breakfast in the hotel is a continental buffet (all you can eat). 1 of the coffee machines was out of use which was a bummer. The worst part was the payment for the car park.... As it really adds up to a overall cost. Almost €20 for a day is a lot! After 3 days....€60 or 2.50 per our (Max 19. Euro per day)

Overall, this is a good hotel, and I would stay here again if I had an early flight from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) 🛫. Staff are really friendly and helpful, but be warned that the rooms are very basic and have no frills, as the name of the hotel suggests 👍🏻. However, when you consider the relative nightly rate compared to other airport hotels, the Ibis Budget delivers excellent value for money 💰. The shuttle bus 🚍 works really well and pulls up right outside the hotel entrance. I think it's the first stop, so it's OK to get on at busy times with a fair amount of luggage 🧳.

I wouldn't choose this again. The hidden charges will make it absolutely not budget at all. 19 Euros for a car park. Why do you charge people for parking when it's a budget hotel and clearly you own the car park? Ridiculous. Then you have to pay 10 Euros for a tiny bunny and same price for a massive dog? A bit unfair. Also, the rooms are poor. There isn't even a kettle in the room, only 1 towel per person, so according to you we all dry our intimate parts, hair, and face with the same towel? Ew. Then also you couldn't afford a normal bin bag as well so u give a tiny bag that rips. AC is annoyingly loud. Pillows are baby size. You also need to pay for hot water downstairs if you want to actually eat something like pot noodles at night etc. Overall all charges got me to 132 Euros. Not worth it. I could have easily spent that on a central hotel and get better service and comfort. Not budget at all. The staff are very abrupt and rude. Look down on you because you stay in a budget?? Not every hotel accepts pets that's why people choose you, please youre not anyones 1st choice... also got me scared knocking at the door so loud at 9am when the check out is at 12pm. And then u ask when is my check out??? Are you joking? You work here, you should know. Completely unacceptable. Also you state your rooms are soundproof but I can hear people taking shower and talking next door, what a joke. Plus the reception guy was drunk and had whisky glass next to him with smelly alcohol in it.

Clean floors, I prioritize hard floors over carpeting. clean and comfortable bed. Clean and enclosed shower. If you've traveled around Europe, you know how most showers are set up such that water goes everywhere unless you're ultra careful. Not the case here. Glass all around. Didn't have breakfast this time, but it looked like the standard excellent newly designed breakfast of Ibis. Shuttle bus to the airport was on time and reliable.

The Hotel was Okay? Spent less than 8h in the room, arrived just to sleep and got on the earliest transfer but to the airport. + The rooms are new +Warm shower(even though the door didn’t fully closed?) - There is no kettle in the room, even though the prices are lower, they are not THAT low. I was at least hoping there to be a kettle in the room.. or in the hallway? Stayed in way cheaper hotels in the past and they still had a kettle. They can be very cheap, please get some lol -The sheets were synthetic and really unpleasant. Overall, If the room should’ve been a bit cheaper (even 15€) I think I would not be complaining.

If you want to be close to the airport it’s ideal. Also staff were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are great considering it’s a budget hotel. I uber’d my way into the town centre for quickness think it was only 20€ or thereabouts. Would stay again if in Amsterdam particularly good if you’re delayed/having a layover.

We had a good stay here. The rooms are more modern than in the most other ibis budgets and totally fine. The bed is comfortable, the room and the whole hotel was clean. One thing they could improve is the thickness of the towels as they were weirdly thin. The best feature of the hotel is the free bus shuttle which takes about 10 minutes to the main entrance of Schiphol airport, right next to the train station. Sometimes the airplanes or the shuttle bus were to hear but nothing that bothered us. All in all you can’t go wrong if you are looking for a cheap, clean and convenient stay.

  • 5/5 Johnny V. 4 months ago on Google
For starters, "budget" is the key word here. Everything is minimalistic and extras are charged. Yet rooms are quite comfy and well organized. There is a free shuttle bus service to the airport from 3.48 am till 00.03 each day. It takes 7 mins to get to the airport. There is a smoking shelter located just next to some "no smoking" shed so it is amusing. Breakfast from 4 am but the choice is very limited. Over all not bad hotel, but some improvements would be great.

After traveling for a full day we were looking forward to a comfortable evening prior to flying out of Amsterdam the following morning. Upon arrival we checked in and received a key to the room. When we entered the room, the shower area smelled like sewage coming up through the vent. The sheets on the bed looked dirty and unchanged. You can see in the photo I’ve attached. After bringing to managements attention, their solution was free breakfast and a different room. Obviously we declined. after seeing what we saw and how they handled it’s obvious the sheets don’t get changed after each stay. Even seeing where others have recently reviewed with dirty sheets and hair on sheets along with bed bugs. Made me itch just thinking about staying there. The toilet area in the room is basically a closet and the sink is in the middle of the room and the shower in room is not really private. So if you choose to risk it, don’t stay with non family members if you want a private toilet or shower. This place is grotesque at best. Only thing it has going for it is location. We did check in to another hotel and are having to fight for our money back on this dump.

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel is very near to Airport. Shuttle service is good. Hair dryer is not available, Room heater was not working properly, no kettle in the room. We stayed only for one night so it is manageable.

An adequate airport hotel with regular shuttles to the airport. It is also just across from the bus station with frequent buses to the city all day long. If you are a tourist, purchase the Amsterdam Travel Pass, which covers these all city buses, trams, metro, and airport express buses and trains. I would recommend a short stay at this hotel.

  • 2/5 Patricia B. 6 months ago on Google
Good option if you want to be close the airport and a bus takes you to the city center. Staff in person is nice and friendly, however, I was in a 3-bed room and slept in the top bunk bed. You have to make your own bed because the hotel cannot risk the maid having an accident (but you, as a customer can) and probably due to this, the top beds are not as well taken care of. I reported seeing bugs the following day, waking up with bedbug bites and they never did anything about it. So I guess if you want a 2 bed room it's a nice place to stay, but if you're +3, be aware.

Good park, sleep, fly packages and shuttle services. But the walls and doors are very badly insulated. Below every hotel standard. Furthermore for some reason we had a five minute light and sounds alarm in our room during the night. Wouldn't book again.

  • 1/5 Celine 2 years ago on Google
Service was okay but that’s it. The room was very dirty, dust on the shelves, the ground, everywhere. Also loads of hair on the bed sheets and pillows and even in the shower. I managed to get us a new room but same issue. They won’t want to give us our money back which is a big shame. Please don’t go to this hotel. Not only the rooms, but also the hotel itself (hallways, elevator, tables, etc) very nasty.

Convenient location close to the airport and free shuttle. The bus is shared with all the Ibis hotels in the area so can become a bit crowded, Ibis Budget is the first stop in both directions (which helps). Helpful staff, they even assisted me printing the PCR results at no cost. What I was more unhappy about is that it was impossible to have a quality sleep, corridors were very noisy and room was not properly isolated from it, so you could hear all the doors opening and closing… which for an airport hotel with people entering and leaving at all times is a big infrastructure failure!

  • 5/5 Maria S. 2 years ago on Google
This Hotel is only 10mins in taxi to the Airport. The Hotel is Very modern, clean and econimco. The beds are very good and spotless clean. There is also a bar for breakfast. And what I liked also, is if you forgot to buy a souvenir they have a gift shop open till late with good prices. I would highly recommend this Hotel for overnight or short stays..

Great place to stay near Schipol. The shuttle service provided is very convenient. The room itself is okay and is in line with the price. The only inconvenience that I faced was the first shuttle bus to the airport from the hotel was quite crowded. Maybe one off but it was really crowded with not enough space to stand too.

  • 5/5 Diana N. 2 years ago on Google
I arrived late at night and was greeted by a very friendly staff member. The room is small but enough for a few nights stay! The beds are very comfortable and a very nice atmosphere all around. Breakfast is standard but good!

It's close to the airport and has a shuttle, although you have to wait quite a while. Check their schedule if you can. Rooms small but nice.

  • 5/5 Graziele L. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel in general, the room, common areas, breakfast, and free shuttle are great. The staff is amazingly efficient and friendly. Another thing is the hotel is so quiet, I didn't hear any loud noise at night time. The location is perfect as it is nearby a big bus station. The only thing that I liked less was the room cleaning while I was there, but I talked about it with the reception staff and they solved the problem.

Location: close to the airport and bus stations. It takes us a while to find the 'blue' IBIS budget because it's hiding behind the 'red' IBIS. Room: big enough for 2. Like the design where the toilet, basin and shower are separated so I can brush my teeth when my mate is taking a shower. Room is clean and the shower is very good. No obvious noise heard. Service: very good, the staff offered us a printed shuttle bus schedule without us even asking. So sweet :)

Very good hotel for a short stay. Shuttle bus from the airport. Rooms clean, decent breakfast. If you would like to the city centre, there is a bus 397 across the street. Very friendly and helpful staff, giving advice on the transport options etc.

  • 1/5 pragati g. 2 years ago on Google
Location was OK as it was near the airport and good connectivity with the airport and city. Rooms were too small, beds were extra slim. For double bed, 2 beds were joined up together which were highly inconvenient for a couple. Mattress was hard enough to give us a back pain. Windows could open only full, not half which was a trouble while sleeping in a box like room. Toilet lock was broken too. Beds were never made properly after we left the room, only the duvets were readjusted. If someone is a light sleeper, I wouldn't recommend it to him.

  • 1/5 Emma Y. 2 years ago on Google
I strongly advise against it except in case of necessity!! the transport to get there is overpriced and super expensive far from the city, don't be fooled. we can not pay by cash while on the phone they told us the opposite. there is no restaurant, you have to go to an IBIS next door. the reception people are rude. The only good thing was the bed and the shower.

  • 3/5 Anusha S. 11 months ago on Google
Friendly staff helped in smooth check in. Rooms are decently sized for a night stay. Just has basic amenities but the room was getting very warm and the AC was not working. There was no soap in the shower. Shuttles to and from the airport at regular intervals makes it a very convenient place to stay for odd hour flights.

  • 4/5 Nikolay I. 1 year ago on Google
Free shuttle to the hotel and back. The room is small but cozy even if you are 2 parents with a child. My son was happy to climb up the bunk bed. You got also nice view to the airport and the planes. The breakfast is cheap and OK. Please keep in mind the shuttle can have some delay.

  • 4/5 Dima H. 1 year ago on Google
We were a group of three adults who stayed here for three nights. We really enjoyed out stay. The price was the cheapest I found while looking for hotels. The shuttle service is the best and makes the stay worthy and the hotel easy to access. Even though the room is small but it had everything we needed. Reception and workers there are very kind and helpful and provided us with what we needed. Air con MUST be improved though because it wasnt cold enough/at all. Will be coming back in the future. I recommend for this price point and shuttle service.

Great location for a layover or short term stay in Amsterdam. Comfortable bed, view of the forest / super relaxing). Walking distance to the bus stop, free airport shuttle (starting 3:48am until 11 or so). I had an early flight considering the situation at Schipol Airport I decided to get there earlier and within the allowed limits (4 hours before flight).

  • 5/5 Albert de k. 1 year ago on Google
This budget hotel is very well priced and convenient. I stay here whenever I need to catch a very early flight from Schiphol and don’t want to pay a huge amount for a quick sleepover. Regular bus shuttles commute between the hotel and airport. Check in is easy and the rooms are always clean.

  • 3/5 Connor P. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel is currently under heavy renovation which was not well-communicated. Bed wasn't comfortable and air conditioning seemed to be faulty. More pillows/towels in the room would've been useful. It was only a very short stay so I didn't raise any concerns. It did the job and I'd stay here again if necessary.

  • 4/5 Christopher H. 1 year ago on Google
We always use ibis when we tour as they are a good standard. Always clean and staff are nice. Usually in a good location and 90% of the time somewhere to park out huge van. The budget is not quite as good and the shower arrangements are so weird when sharing a room. It's ok for a get your head down kinda stay. But not for 3 nights like we unfortunately had to stay. If the red ibis is available pay the upgrade.

  • 5/5 Judith J. 1 year ago on Google
It was more than I expected. It was adequate for a one night stay. It was clean, the design was well thought out and the absence of carpeting was a plus for me. Our queen size bed was very comfortable. The room looked just like the picture. I would book it again if in amsterdam and would consider them in other countries. The shuttle to and from the airport was gratis and ran regularly and on time.

  • 4/5 Vesqu 10 months ago on Google
Very nice and clean hotel. Air condition is in the room so it is not hot in the summer.Parking is quite expensive, 19€ for 24h. Very pleasant customer service on reception. If You want to have beer You need to go to the other Ibis Hotel that is on the next building. The bed was missing some wood underneath and the third bed we had to make by ourselves. It was missing bedsheets. Without those few things it was worth the money.

  • 5/5 Didi A. 11 months ago on Google
There is a shuttle from the airport. Runs on average every 20 minutes. We arrived late and the staff were friendly and checked us in quite fast. The room was cozy and worked for what we needed, a place to crash after a night in Amsterdam. Would have been nice to get an extra pillow, got back to late to ask. Breakfast was good. It's not an English Breakfast but cold meats and bread. Coffee, Juice and cereals. Overall was good.

👍👍 Corendon Plaza far exceeded all my "airport hotel" expectations. Free shuttle was on time and easy to hop on/off with luggage. The hotel looked great, staff was welcoming and friendly, amenities included restaurants, bars, a small grocery store, and even a nightly cinema show. Rooms were very quiet...
