Very nice staff, very comfortable room and very clean facilities. I liked that they had shuttle service to and from the airport. The breakfast was good, the only thing I found the dinner a bit expensive regarding what they offer, but in general everything was very good.

I’m never staying at a Ramada again, this was just disgusting. The bathroom is not only outdated buy plain filthy. The ceiling had humidity and tiles that would move every time you opened and closed the door. Dust everywhere. The first room they offered me had a strong cigarette smell so I asked for a change. They charge for the shuttle and don’t even help you with your bags. The four stars is a complete lie!

The room was clean but run down. The shower area was like a horror movie. Black mould all on celling, tiles and bath stained. Lamp shades had stains, the swimming pool was run down and cold in both pools. The restaurant area is nice and the food buffet is excellent. Staff friendly. Bikes can hired and electric bike's available. 10 min walk to supermarket 5 min walk to nice restaurant. Uber delivery for food is available on your phone. Can eat your food in bar area but slight charge to pay to hotel. Not much in the area. Definitely needs a update on the rooms and interior carpets etc Sort the mold out and would be a great hotel

The staff in the restaurant changes every day. They have no idea even what is Public health. Only when the 2 supervisors are on duty you can receive a better service. The rooms half of the times I adhere to the environmental program but they forget to leave the vouchers. Really they need to invest in having permanent staff and better trained

I am writing regarding my recent visit at Ramada hotel, Amsterdam Schiphol. I had an appalling stay with nothing but issues. During my stay I encountered various issues. I had no power in my room, no hot water on my arrival after a wedding. I myself have heart problems an I was not able to use the lifts which meant that I had to use the stairs on several occasions. This was extremely stressful as we were unable to charge my portable oxygen concentrator as well as our phones. Therefore had we ran into serious issues we would have required medical assistance. This is why we checked out immediately as we were given no time frame as to when this issue would be resolved. I was also offered no cleaning of my room during my stay. I contacted reception on various occasions during my visit but not much was done to rectify these issues whilst I was there. I was informed by reception that there was nothing that they could do about my issues during apart from writing to them.

There is a shuttle service will cost you 5 euros to use to return to the airport this runs on the hour and half past the hour daily. It's very convenient for travel to and from Amsterdam centraal If you wish to eat or have a drink card payments are the only currency currently, there is a on site convince store selling milk and snacks and a bar also , The rooms are clean and comfortable and very spacious, they are warm and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes .. each room has a card key to open the doors , a kettle and a couple of free hot drinks, its own bathroom a TV , desk and chair, also there is a card active safe full length mirror and iron board, Food was very pleasant and enjoyable, the salad was fresh and a delightful combination of new flavours, The sweet potato soup i found to be nice enough, I think soup can be a personal preference and I think it would have been to have a little bit of a choice, Dutch bread not something I have tried before and I thoroughly enjoyed the bread Even though it was very different from our native bread , The lamb was tender and the food over all delicious my only complaint really was I wish I had a sharp knife for the the lamb and the egg plant I think was undercooked. The pudding reminded me of a chocolate marble cake ..but with blueberries and nuts .. a pot of grapes on the side plesent to refresh the pallet

The rooms themselves were great - plenty of space, mostly clean (just don't look under the beds!) and all the amenities you might need. Unfortunately though the service lets this hotel down hugely in several areas. The housekeeping was half-hearted, often missing major details including the bed. For a 4 star hotel I would expect far better than that. The pool has incredibly strange opening hours 18:00-22:00 on weekdays), which means none of our group had a chance to use it at all. The hotel shuttle was good, but it's disappointing that it's not included in the price in both directions (5€ from the hotel back to the airport). We stayed here for a week and worked in Amsterdam Centraal, so these shuttle costs very quickly added up and there was no multi-day bus pass or anything like that. The biggest concern of mine though comes down to security. A couple of our guests, including myself, were given the wrong room numbers. When I went to reception to query why my key did not work, rather than checking the number, they just revalidated it for the room written on the card. This room was actually occupied and I ended up walking in on another guest while they were changing. This kind of thing is completely unacceptable, and the fact that it wasn't just a one-off mistake is seriously concerning.

By far the worst hotel I have stayed in. Noisy, hot in the rooms as AC doesn’t work and the food is dire, no phone in room to phone reception also. Over priced for such a poor service. Vegan wrap and vegan salad with a BLT sandwich. Unbelievable Room service vegetarian dining experience. The chef knows how to pull out all of the stops.

I am very disappointed of this hotel. 3 main things: Disorganized, Noisy and Not Inclusive. Let me start by inclusive because this in year 2023 should not be even an option; there was a person in a wheelchair and they didn't let her be in her chair for the shuttle, people had to lift her up to force to fit in the small bus chairs. Bus not disability friendly? Then FIX IT! how this people cannot travel to the hotel? There are no ramps either. Second, disorganized, staff knows nothing how breakfast, coupons nor shuttle works. They all tell something different and we had to be explaining what they have to do and the supervisor they have to call to explain, really? Also night shift lobby staff was very rude, not helpful at all. And third, the room door has a big gap under and all the noise from the hall comes in.. Forget having a comfortable relax rest here. To end in good points tho, breakfast is bit expensive but good, and they have a shuttle to the airport. From airport is free and To the airport is €5 per person. Also you can go by bus to the center, takes ~1 hour, the bus stops are 600mts walk away, so not bad.

I didn't receive any follow up after comment below, false promises... Changed from 3/5 to 1/5 Decent room and experience, room was good but service was okay. Stuff went missing out of my room without any accountability and/or compensation from their side. Location and parking is easily accessible and well arranged.

Lovely hotel. Love their comfy beds and beddings. Three TVs in 2rooms 🫣 There was a lot of dust everywhere. The cups and saucers were still wet from previous people. There was a cot bed outside of our room filled with sun-dried tomatoes and pickles. Housekeeper said that it was for us. Luckily, we did not need a cot. The views were not very pleasant, gladly, we did not have time to look at them. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We arrived before noon so check-in wasn’t available and spent some time in the lobby waiting for check-in. Temporary parking is ok in front of the building and there’s parking space across the street. Airport shuttle is available. Breakfast is recommended!

This hotel is good to stay if you have to go to the airport, the shuttle goes almost every half hour and is less than 10 minutes from the airport. The rooms are a bit standard, but they do have a bathtub. The breakfast and dinner buffet is good with enough choices. The swimming pool is a bit dated and the sauna is only turned on after 6pm, other than that the staff is helpful and friendly.

An unfortunate mix up with my flights through Amsterdam resulted in an overnight stay at the Ramada. Staff were very helpful and efficient. Rooms were clean and tidy and basic appointments for a standard room. It did the job and I got some well earned rest between international flight connections.

GREAT EXPERIENCE! Hotel staff was extremely friendly, they make you feel like family for your whole stay. The front desk guy Brian was very accommodating, polite, helpful, and just overall had a great personality. The shuttle to/from the airport was also a plus. Very grateful for that. The hotel/rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Will always stay here whenever I come back to Amsterdam.

I peaked at these reviews before my stay and wasn't sure what to expect. Perhaps its just people from different parts of the world with differing expectations. I booked a reward room here for my last night in AMS. When I checked in they had me upgraded to what I believe was the nicest room in the hotel with a panoramic balcony (the only one in the hotel) and a handwritten note an food in the room. Dinner was buffet style for 30 Euro. I do not prefer this, but the food was good. There was steak cooked wonderfully and pasta and all kinds of other items. I did not have breakfast, but anyone that says the dinner is inedible I question how I've lived over 40 years and don't understand what bad food is. The room as clean. Bed was hard, like it is in any hotel in Europe. The hotel is not on the direct flight path so noise was very minimal.

The staff are amazingly helpful and kind! Breakfast was lovely! Even a pancake machine. Lots to choose from. Room was nice and comfortable beds, lush pillows too! Didnt get a chance to visit spa

It's a great hotel but you need a ride to get to the main city. Very near the airport. The beds were nice and soft, and the pillows were big and comfy. Big rooms. The shower has a strong pressure and it can get really hot. There was a bathtub in our rooms. We have a wake up call and if you miss answering the call, a guy will come up and knock your door to make sure you're up. Never experienced that before which is nice. The breakfast selection is pretty good, had the best croissants. Just the standard eggs, bacon, and some potatoes for the main food. We also tried buffet dinner here which they served up some great ribs and fish, the string beans were really good and the staff was pretty fast considering only 2 people were running around getting everyone their drinks. I like their small convenience store, lots of chips, chocolates and drinks to choose from and you can just pay by yourself without anyone there to assist you. They had a very big gym but didn't try it out

Room is good, no complaints except it is a bit warm. Service, all are very helpfull, no issues. Setup of restaurant and bar, complicated, separate payment system instead of room charging, complicated, cumbersome. Parking, odd shape entry and parking bay direction, but also, nearly 20 euro per day, seriously.........

Advertised "Free" shuttle is only free from the airport. It's 5 Euros, plus high taxes, for each person going to the airport. The concierge was always pleasant and helpful.

Good and not big hotel next to the airport. There is a free shuttle bus service available. Rooms are cozy with cattle in. Good breakfast and not a bad dinner 👍 A small bar and shop are available too.

Much better than expected. Airport hotels are understandably usually pretty beat up but this location must have been recently renovated as the room was pretty nice. Shuttle is quick and easy to use (Free to take from the airport but 5 euro return trip). Staff were very nice.

Needed a night to relax before the long trip home. Enjoyed the peace and quiet at the hotel and good breakfast before getting to the airport. Shuttle was easy to book and showed up on time.

A very good option close to Schiphol Airport! Honestly, it was better than expected! Rooms are well equipped, the staff service very nice and helpful. I suggest to take the dinner buffet. You will not regret it. The also have a very convenient shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel.

I booked this hotel based on the previous two times I was here for fire and marine training. It is a convenient location being close to the airport and has a shuttle that takes you there and you can just take the train to central Amsterdam. Since I never had to pay for the shuttle the previous two times I stayed here, I was surprised to find out it was not free for guests not in the FMTC training, along with the bikes and cellphone with data. This is the main reason I booked this hotel again because of what was included when I previously stayed. If the shuttle runs back and forth from the airport all day, I do not agree that guests should be paying to go to the airport - even more so on departure day. The restaurant still just has a buffet which is very overpriced so keep that in mind; you’ll do better with going to a restaurant nearby. Rooms are alright and need some attention in the bathrooms, but that’s not a big deal for me. Umbrellas should be provided free of charge as well like a lot of hotels. With this being my third time here and not for FMTC training, I would book elsewhere because there will be more value booking in central Amsterdam or at the airport.

This place is just okay, and probably not worth its price point (so, typical for an airport hotel). As others have said, the walls really are paper thin, and if you're put anywhere near the elevator, good luck getting any sleep in the packed hotel. Were I flying through again, I would choose a different hotel.

Cheap prices for what we got. It saved us. Last minute booking in an excellent price. It made our very bad day at the airport, into an opportunity to relax in the spa. The overall experience was good. Friendly stuff and a nice hotel to spend the night.

Very convenient if you have an early flight from Schiphol. The bed was pretty good and also the size of the room. Checking in and out was pretty efficient too. The breakfast because of the pandemy is now delivered in boxes at the room door and it was ok. They also have a place next to the reception where you can buy beers and wine until later. Get ready to spend all your pennies if you feel like buying something from there 😅

It's nice but, the noise in halls can be heard very easily in room waking me up whenever someone walks by talking. And the free shuttle is only one way! So technically not free!

We had a 17 hour layover so decided to stay here. It was a very nice stay. They do have a shuttle which is 5€ a person and a taxi is 23€. They hotel is very clean and the rooms are a nice size. The staff is great, friendly, and professional

Although it's off the beaten path and they only serve breakfast - the 24/7 self-serve snack bar offers access to a variety of wine and craft beer. Who needs food anyway, right? The nearest restaurant(s) is about 10 minute's walk - neighborhood is residential and quite nice to walk around in.

Clean, tidy, comfortable. Staff friendly, polite and professional. Stayed for 12 nights and on the second night, the excellent bartender Karlos said ' the usual sir' a very nice way to be greeted as a friend when far from home.

Hotel shuttle to/from Schiphol Airport AMS was easy and efficient. Room large and basic but room darkening curtains were a plus when changing time zones. Buffet breakfast and dinner not included in room price and bar didn't open until 6:00pm. For this solo traveler I found it a challenge to understand public transportation to get to Amsterdam Centraal but I'm a small town girl. Staff patient, helpful and accommodating.

  • 4/5 Luciano Maria P. 1 year ago on Google
The hotel could do with a refurb: the building shows some signs of ageing, the bathrooms are a bit old, and there are no mosquito nets on the windows. On the other hand, it has a favourable position to reach the airport (not to reach the Amsterdam city centre) and nearby there is a small town where you can find some shops, a supermarket, an ATM, and several good pubs/restaurants for your dinner. There is parking available for 19,50 € per day (no reservation needed). I would recommend it for one night if you need to reach the Schiphol airport otherwise you could do better.

Check-In took forever. There were three people at the reception and no one acknowledged the long line up. They reported that their system was down but did not say anything and did not have any urgency. Then I had to purchase a travel adapter because mine broke and one of the employees said it’s over by the self service. I thought I could pay for it via the kiosk but could not because it was not there. So I lined up again for 30 mins to purchase one. I payed and then the employees there couldn’t even open up the door because they couldn’t find the key and all they said was sorry can’t do anything. The room has poor lighting. I was provided a room on the 4th floor. Also you have to pay 1 euro just to weigh your bags. How cheap of them.

Let’s be honest - are you expecting much when you book a Ramada right next to the Amsterdam airport? I mean no disrespect to the establishment, but no, you’re not. I was pleasantly surprised by the fun ambiance, the well-stocked store in the lobby, & the soft mattresses. The restaurant was expensive, but hey, I’m in Amsterdam - I’m not gonna be eating at the hotel restaurant!

I think the cleaning staff suffers from depression or is not properly educated. They make an extreme noise in the corridor even if some doors have the sign put with do not disturb, we sleep. They slam the doors, they talk very loudly, it's very, very unpleasant.

  • 5/5 Jonathan C. 1 year ago on Google
Forgot my razor & shaving cream, they gave me both for free. They have an amazing pool. Shuttle to and from airport was a nice amenity. Wonderful staff and the bartenders are awesome! Would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Amsterdam. My only complaint would be the views. They aren't that great at all.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The shuttle service is convenient and the distance from the airport is short. The bathroom sink in our room was particularly blocked. The hotel is pricey.

Free shuttle rides from the airport, free upgrades, option to earn vouchers. Being a 4 star hotel, one thing I missed was free drinking water. Friendly and welcoming staff. The location is a bit far from the city center, It took an hour with 2 buses for 6.5 euro.

  • 3/5 Bin Huang (. 1 year ago on Google
The room was okay but not as good as I expected based on the brand image of Ramada. The room was not cleaned and organized well when we checked in. There were dusts everywhere and bedsheets were not properly laid - plus no mini fridge. Moreover, one of the shuttle bus drivers was very rude and not professional. I took the shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel after I arrived, and I asked the driver and wanted to confirm with him if the shuttle going to Ramada after I saw the shuttle with Ramada logo on it - and he just replied to me a "What do you think?" and later, I asked him how many mins it takes to go to the hotel and he just gave me a "Are you in a hurry?"

Very clean hotel. The breakfast is great. The prices are high. The rooms are large and comfortable and the views out the windows are lovely. The hotel is a short 5 minute ride from the Airport. Save money and eat supper at restaurants in town a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel has you for breakfast at $20 per person. It is a good breakfast but not worth $20 to me.

It is a little bit out of the airport but they have shuttles every 15 min, very comfortable rooms. Good quality bed and showers . There is a shop In reception where you can find various options 7/24 to eat and drink.

  • 4/5 Mary G. 1 year ago on Google
I think for the price (relative to Amsterdam) it was a good value. The hotel shuttle is a nice amenity, and it wasn’t too difficult to take the bus into the center of town. However, the outlets are particular with what kind of converters can be used, so the one I had been using the rest of my trip I couldn’t use here. On top of that, they didn’t have USB plug-ins to make up for it, and when I called the front desk staff about it they offered to sell me the particular converter at an inflated price.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ramada by Wyndham AMS, and will plan to stay here again. The shuttle from/to the airport was great. My room was clean and well-appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bike rental was a blast. Though I didn't eat anything, the food I saw being served looked delicious. I especially appreciate Anette, from the front desk, who helped me find my passport, after I thought I lost it. She's a star!

inexpensive spot with under 15 min trip on airport shuttle. C13 is with the other airport shuttles under a bridge with a small sign but not on maps or directions people can give. Great rooms and great value rooms. Breakfast is hot but I didn't try it for 18e each.

👍👍 Corendon Plaza far exceeded all my "airport hotel" expectations. Free shuttle was on time and easy to hop on/off with luggage.
