I recently visited this Bar and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The service was extremely poor and the waiter was both rude and racist. Despite trying to engage with him in a friendly manner, he made several offensive comments that left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome so we force to ask for the bill and leave because of the waiter behavior. I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism and respect shown by the staff at the Rembrandtbar. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with courtesy and kindness. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of this expectation. Overall, I would not recommend this bar to others based on my experience. If you're looking for a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, there are plenty of other bars in Amsterdam that offer better service and a more enjoyable experience.

This place is the absolute worst - the bar tender was the rudest person ever and totally unwarranted, it was low-key bullying my friend and man I have never seen someone that rude in the Netherlands. Never go here. He was terrible, spoke horribly and was almost racist and ruined Amsterdam for us. I live in the Netherlands and the people here are absolutely hospitable and the nicest so this man is just ruining the reputation. I do not how this kinda behaviour is tolerated by the bar management.

Very unfriendly staff especially the barkeeper who seems to spurn conversation with guests, fairly expensive even for this area and to cap it all they don't serve what the menu tells you. No recommendation at all.

Nice corner to have a drink and people watch everyone going through Rembrandt square. It was a nice day and they had outdoor seating but they have indoor. Odd it was the place least sat in the square at the time which is why we went. Only 1 other table. Wonder why it isn’t as popular as it’s neighbors. But, a Good spot with Wi-Fi and drinks.

What a cheetah. Good beer, qood frenchfries, but extremely bad treatment. No receipt, no prices, no possibility for us to pay with a card while at the same time another local guy pays by card, an arrogant servitris wouldnt print out the receipt from the cashier, but would write it by the hand. So stupid..So great shame for the great city of Amsterdam.

Best Aperol Spritz in the square! We had bitterballen as well which was delicious. Great location and great service from Denise at the bar. Would highly recommend if you need a break from strolling the streets of the city to cool off and grab a snack.

Best place to get a drink at the Rembrandtplein!!! Good drinks, nice music, and very friendly and helpful employees. If you are at the Rembrandtsquare, this is the best place to go!

Came here with friends, one of many stops. My friend needed a break from drinking and was not allowed to stay because he wouldn't order a drink. Rude staff. Finished the drink we ordered and left.

This is a great place to sit and have a couple of beers at basically any time of day. I call in pretty much every time I'm in the city (sometimes 2 or 3 times). The beer is good and the staff are pretty chilled. A perfect place to sit and watch the world go by.

Lovely spot of a drink on a sunny day

I recently visited Rembrandt Bar and unfortunately had a very negative experience with one of the bartenders. The individual was extremely rude and aggressive, and my simple request for a beer went unanswered for 20 minutes. When I finally asked about my drink, the bartender's response was dismissive and unprofessional. This behavior is completely unacceptable and made for a very unpleasant visit to the bar. I hope that management takes action to address this issue and ensure that their staff provides better customer service in the future.

It's a perfect spot to drink a couple of beers and chill. I loved the staff and especially the handsome bartender, Zarsja.
