The bar has a speak easy feel to it, nothing on the outside giving away it's name just a lit sign saying bar. You have to ring the bell and wait to gain access... We had to wait a while and were starting to think it was closed when the door opened There is a heavy curtain as you enter all adding to the mystery and you are asked to wait to be seated. Inside its dark and has the feel of a gentleman's club, the bar is over 3 small levels... A couple of steps down to the bar and a few more steps up to a mezzanine You aren't allowed tables of 5 and above... So split your party before entering. Cocktails cost around 15 euros each and our made with lots of passion... My other half wanted a Bloody Mary which wasn't on the menu and I watched it being made... Lots of attention to detail... I had a jitterbug for a change as I always order an espresso martini... I loved it... The waiter was a little unsure when you asked about anything off the menu but kind of added to the quirky charm of the visit... A lovely evening

Really nice place with very tasty cocktails! The bar seemed to be closed from outside but if you ring the doorbell and wait for a few mins, someone will open the door and welcome you in. The deco inside is kind of old school and vintage feeling, the bartenders were all dressed up properly with a bow tie, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, I loved the cocktail I got, cannot wait to go back and try more!

Cute speak-easy, it feels weird to write a review about a place that’s supposed to be hush-hush. Than again, Amsterdam in 2023 isn’t exactly 1920’s prohibition america. Place is decorated like it’s straight out of the Great Gatsby, lots of dark wood and browns and velvet. The cocktails are good if pricy (15euros+) but the quality and the craft shows. They don’t play music so you can actually have a conversation and even though it’s three floors, all the seats feel intimate and private. Would recommend taking a date here!

The interior has the feeling of an old smoking room or lounge and is beautiful, but the cocktails are the stars of the show here! This 1920s inspired, speak east style bar was the perfect place for myself and fiance to visit and we weren't disappointed. From the classic cocktails, to the suspender cladded employees. The drinks and atmosphere here are honestly perfect, especially when looking to get away from the normal Amsterdam tourist traps. This is def a place everyone should visit once while in Amsterdam. Best bar we've been to while we were there.
