Absolutely rude and unprofessional staff. On a Sunday night in November, with 70% free seats, the bartender complained to me that we had only taken 3 (overpriced) beers in 2 people while staying 'too long' (1.5 hours), saying that I needed to spend more money, and dared to say that this was not nice of me. Left me speechless, as this was the only personal interaction we ever had, we had never met nor he tried to check-in or do any conversation. I would understand a friendly remark on a busy night, but I got nothing to do with his bar being empty on a Sunday night in November. He would better be thankful he gets any customers, and consider his own choices when running a business, like opening times.

A perfect little bar for drinks with friends or on your own. First went here 9 years ago and yesterday hunted it out to visit again. I wasn't disappointed. Leo still runs and owns this bar and I guess that's part of what makes it so good. It's not some chain bar where the staff don't care. This is a proper bar to enjoy a drink. Price wise it's pretty reasonable for Amsterdam. I'll be back again and again 😁

Wait staff is exceedingly rude. There are plenty of cafés on this street that will treat you better.

Amazing bar! Leo is a wonderful bartender and owner whos always down to talk about really anything. The beer is amazing, prices are absolutely fair and all in all its a place that’s worth coming back for!

Great works for join Café and Gastrovino for Lunch. Good sandwiches, good drinks and smart peoples. Definitely reccomended.

Amazing bar - went for a couple beers on a Wednesday and Leo was there. Great atmosphere, good prices, funky decorations. If we lived here, we'd be regulars at this bar.

Super nice little bar, the owner/bartender is a great guy if you come early enough to chat. Prices are fine, there are snacks, and overall a really excellent experience!

A perfect place to grab a pint, catch up with some friends, or even just read a book. The bartender was great to chat with and the environment in there is quaint. They played really great classics and jazz music. This place is one of my go-tos when I go back to Amsterdam.
