Dopes is pretty good. As a LVL 7 google expert I've drank at my fair share of bars, this one is on par!

My father used to drink here a long time ago, and it warms my heart that is still exactly as he described: friendly, local, and with good beer! So if you find yourself in De Pijp, do yourself a favour and grab a beer here!

Delicious tap beers, vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. What else do you want from a bar? Loved this place.

This is a nice bar to have a drink and some food. They have a good selection of beers and the Guinness is quite good. We ordered fish and chips and it was very tasty.

We arrived in between menus (17-18:00), so only snacks were available, but they were very tasty with a good portion! Great craft beer menu, friendly service. Embarrassingly, I left my bag behind, but when I called them, they found it and set it in the back for me, when I picked it up the next day, everything was in tact! Nice atmosphere

A brilliant spot in De Pijp for craft beer. constant changing tap list of local and Netherlands wide breweries. Staff are always super friendly and great atmosphere.

Favorite neighborhood bar we encountered in two weeks. Amazing beer selection, staff were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. No BS. Could see myself having a pint here regularly.

Great selection of beers - I had a "J-IPA" and it was interesting, maybe in my top 5 beers. Great and friendly service, just a really nice local neighborhood pub!

We ordered 2 beers and Nachos. Nachos were extremely salty, not tasty either. Beers are good. 24 drafts and fairly priced (€4.50-6.50). Nice terrace, slow service as there is only 1 person for bar and service.

Amazing local neighborhood bar just like I like. Super friendly staff, great beer selection. I haven't ventured into any food, and honestly, it looks a little dicey to me from what I've seen come out of the kitchen, but maybe some day. For now, this review just covers the ambiance and beer!

Nice place with a very good selection of beers. A little closer to the road and felt a little crowded were three main downsides.

Great local beer bar! The staff was extremely helpful the beer sections was really well balanced with offerings of just about every style you could want. Prices were very reasonable and the food was pretty high quality bar food. I dont know why it has taken us so long to discover Dopey's but I am glad we did and look forward to coming back again soon.

Great little brown cafe with one of the best beer selections in town. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere where you can mingle equally with regulars, locals, expats and beer tourists. They also offer a really nice range of after dinner snacks to go with the beers.

Best place in Amsterdam. Great food and beers. Nice staff. Fun. Cozy. Worth a trip.
