Excellent in every way. The food was perfect. They worked around my allergies and were extremely caring. We felt like family. We will be back.

The bar has recently re-opened on Wednesdays only - the bar owner was serving and is so friendly and generous. He gave us samples of the Genevas and told us about his meatball-making adventures before giving us free samples for my birthday! Wednesday is meatball day in the Netherlands and they were absolutely delicious! We even managed to get a tour of the restaurant which dates back to 1627, thanks to one of the lovely waiters. Everyone was really friendly, and the whole experience was a perfect, random birthday evening in Amsterdam! I cannot recommend more highly.

Very terrible service! Rude and Unfriendly waiters that chased my guests away from the table. Food portions were small and wasn't remarkable in taste. Very disappointing visit, especially when it was recommended by the nh city Amsterdam Hotel located just next door. All in all it was a let down to visit. Will not recommend!

Lovely little drinking hole with very original cocktails and a peculiar, but very kind bartender/owner. Don't expect to drink anything standard here!

Favorite cocktail bar in Amsterdam! Never disappointed here. Don't order the usual cocktails but let yourself be surprised.

Delicious! Nice interior

It was on my pending list in Amsterdam, and I really enjoyed it. Interesting design, really good dutch food, great selection of wines and beers, and fantastic staff!
