The pizzas are frozen.... We only went there to drink beer and the waitress didn't want to give us a table even though there were many free, so we ordered pizzas and onion rings but the quality of the food is terrible. I asked for a glass of wine and it had someone else's lipstick on it.... I don't recommend it

Satellite Sportscafé is a great place to grab some delicious ribs and enjoy a good atmosphere. The ribs are definitely the standout dish here, as they were really good and certainly worth trying. However, the dessert we tried didn't live up to expectations. Despite this, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, with a lively and comfortable atmosphere. The only downside was that the F1 race we were there to watch was displayed in black and white, making it difficult to follow. Despite this setback, Satellite Sportscafé is still a solid choice for a casual night out with good food and a fun atmosphere.

Fish and chips was probably the most disgusting fish I ever tried in my life. It tasted like it came from cheap Vietnam fish farm. Also there was twice as much batter as fish itself. The greens in cesar salad were brown/spoiled around the edges. We wanted to share a bottle of water, but they require that each person orders own drink, even when you order food. Service non-existent, long wait to both order and pay (both times we had to walk from our table to ask). I don't recall last time we had such bad eating out experience in Amsterdam.

Very famous place for grilled ribs. Please be prepared that it’s not as high standard but it’s ok with its price. The concept of eating free is a nice marketing as you can normally eat one round and you are full. Nice atmosphere and very central and easy to find place.

A lot of energy and atmosphere here when football is showing, very international bar. Food is sub par, tried fish amd chips, tasted awful. However their pancakes are decent. Bit steep at €15 but would make a filling breakfast/brunch. Also be prepared to wait an hour when it's busy. Free WiFi available.

The ribs with bbq sauce are delicious tender on the inside, fall off the bone, and crunchy on the outside. You get a lot of food for good value and I really liked our waitress. Definitely recommend!

The staff is so friendly and welcoming, engaging us in some small talk. Thumbs up for the waitress!

TURIST BE AWARE, very joke place, cold ribs, expensive drinks, the menu shows you “All you can eat for 12.95€” but this price is from 22pm, they ACCEPT ONLY CASH PAYMENT, the withdrawal machine outside charge you 4€. They don’t tell you about the cash only payment, when I’ve asked the receipt, the waitress try to give me a normal paper, I asked again about the receipt she said the receipt machine is not working. I don’t recommend!

I loved this restaurant! We were searching for some kind of steakhouse but then saw the spare rips. They looked and tasted delicious. Go here. Eat here. And enjoy yourself here. Great service too. There also was a funny typo on a poster🤩

If you prefer a rough and ready sports café with little if any airs and graces then you’ve come to the right place. This venue entices you in with the opportunity to obtain great value but when you look closely the value is only added after 10 o’clock in the evening. For example the all you can eat is around €12 after 10 o’clock at night but prior to that it’s over €14. When we arrived we were asked if we wish to sit inside but we chose to sit outside. As soon as we sit down a group of men said adjacent to us and lit up a cigarette each. “Heads-up” obviously in Amsterdam smoking is allowed at eating venues. We had to wait over 10 minutes before our order was taken and that was only after we would ask “please could our be taken?”. You will have to pay for your order at the table with either cash or eFPOS before the order is delivered. At this stage we realized an additional item was placed on the order which we asked for it to be removed (and I obliged no problem). The staff are not as attentive as you may like but what can be expected from this type of venue. Soccer (Football) is playing on the TV majority of the time. We did notice some gentleman arrived asking if Cricket could be played and they were told we don’t play cricket here. The one good thing about the venue is it is quite large with outside seating and it is right on the tram stop.

Space with excellent quality. 5 star staff, very attentive, friendly and available. Fast table service and they also specialize in various drinks, beers, cocktails, variety of meals. Cozy space with a wide variety of meals. Entrecote is the best known but its hamburgers are divine and very well served. I liked it and recommend it. Excellent price-quality ratio. A place to socialize with friends and enjoy delicious family moments.

The spareribs is very delicious, very big I think worth it for unlimited even you can just eat one since it's just really big can't even finish the first spareribs I got. Nice fries also. Just tried the unlimited spare ribs.

We order unlimited ribs offer, they are good but I would say they are incredibly tasty. Not bad for price for unlimited repeats but they force you to order a drink if you want food and drinks are a scam. 8 dollars for water is something your wouldn’t even expect at airports. Everything besides that is cool tho.

Surprisingly really great spot! Pither of heineken made its job and it was not so overpriced. Burger was great, from real beef, with great add-ons! Also, from a recomendation, belgian pancakes lokked and taste really good! Service was great and helpful! Another place worth to re-visit ;)

Poor service and staff were not attentive. Mediocre food at best and the burger came cold inside, ribs were honestly better than expected but nothing stood out.

Decent ribs with super affordable price. Excellent location right in the middle of Leidseplein. Nice place to go with friends to watch some sports game.

Although the portions are large and the taste is OK, this restaurant makes drinks mandatory!! And it doesn't taste good!!

Walked by around 1pm asking a nice waitress whether we could watch the formula one qualification starting at 2pm later that day. She said she’d ask and came back to tell us they’ll happily welcome us. Asked if we wanted to reserve and I said yes for 3 please. Everything seemed arranged. - HOWEVER. When we came back little before two, after our stroll and lunch, a very impolite lady told us they didn’t take any reservations and asked what our business was with a very odd tone. When we asked to watch formula one and have a couple drinks she informed that we could only take place if we were to order food. Obviously not wasting time of presence there any further, turning our backs and leaving in vain.

Nice bar with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are super nice and very accommodating. It’s a good place to have a drink or smoke in the center of Amsterdam. Can’t comment on food as I never have had it before.

I ordered all-you-can-eat spare ribs with one Heinekend. The ribs were delicious! And the price was 14,95€ p.p. The drink is mandatory for this menu. And it was 5,10€ per (big) glass.

the ribs are delicious. they were all you can eat. I stopped at 3 servings. more reasonable prices compared to the rest of the area

Four of us came here for a quick bite to eat. The food options are quite varied with lots of typical offerings. The pancakes, fries and toasties all got positive reviews from our group. Unfortunately, this place has a policy where you must purchase a drink with food. Even a pint of water costs over €5, and they only offer pints of drinks, nothing smaller. The staff were friendly

The best ribs this side of anywhere!

  • 5/5 Alon H. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent friendly and quick service. The "all you can eat spareribs" are amazing, with juicy fall-of-the-bone meat and a sauce that makes the extra barbeque sauce you get pretty much redundant... Probably one of the most price to performance worthy meals in Amsterdam. I will continue to return and eat there every visit in Amsterdam!!!

I was there last Saturday. The food was amazing. At the bar, a girl named Hanna was my bartender. I was there for hours and she was one of the best bartenders i have ever had. She was very fast and brought all of my drinks in less than 2 minutes. I had the best experience. Anyone who visits this bar, i suggest that you ask for Hanna, she has the best personality and the biggest smile.

Me and my bf ordered all-you-can-eat spare ribs with two big coca colas. The ribs were delicious! We finished 3 rows each!!! And the price was 14,95€ p.p. The drink is mandatory for this menu. And it was 5,10€ per (big) glass. Recommended!

Insanely bad service, not allowed to sit inside unless you order food whilst inside is completely empty. We asked the waiter to move to a different table because we wanted to order some food and the table was quite small, she asked the manager Melanie who looked at us and gave us an arrogant look and ignored us. Horrible experience, will never come back here.

👍 A cozy restaurant with a view. I liked those Avocado chips very much. Comparatively budget friendly in central Amsterdam. (More ideal for a coffee date.) They are providing white bread with steak. . . PS: Don’t forget to reserve a table and visit the restaurant.
