A must stop when visiting Amsterdam. Walking into this small in the middle of no where brunch/restaurant was the best part of our day. We walked in as tired overstimulated travelers and walked out fresh and ready to conquer the bicycle ridden streets. Food was beyond amazing and above that the attention we were given was out of this world. Will come back here soon.

Lorraine is an amazing cook and pretty friendly. She serves a wide selection of french brunch and more. I tried the crepe with ham and egg and cheese and I loved it. Definitely worth a visit. It could be a great authentic Amsterdam experience.

Forgot to take pictures, but this cosy cafe has good service by a young sweet French lady, the quiche is warm and nice, my crepe is a bit plain in taste yet very french. Good cappuccino. Oh we bought some madeleines all three favours original, almond and chocolate are really good. Pic was taken at home, best served with strawberries and a cup of tea.

The one bad thing about visiting Chez Lorraine was not ordering a croissant. What a lovely little cozy french cafe. Food for the soul. Hard to tell what I liked the most, the perfectly handcrafted food, the cute french decor or the sweet and friendly owner. I ordered the quiche. Not the best I’ve had in my entire life, but definitely one worth coming back for. The right amount of ingredients to be able to enjoy the silkiness of the quiche. Perfect pie crust, and baked on point. Got to admit, no matter where you are, the French know what they are doing. Naturally, there is always room for improvement, and coffee could be better. Maybe a partnership with some roaster in the city? Other than that, this place deserves 4 solid stars for its food and 10 for its service. What a perfect place to stumble upon. Officially bookmarked as ‘favorites’ 🥰

The waitress (maybe the owner of the cafe) is so nice. The musli she prepared with yogurt was very delicious. The atmosphere is refreshing. Perfect for breakfasts.

Excuse the choice of camera filters. This quaint little food stop was not far from the hotel we were staying at (The Melrose). The lovely young lady who runs this place made us the tastiest of omelettes so fluffy and gooey with cheese. Fantastic start to our day even if we did start it a bit late. Stayed and had a milkshake and cakes (homemade). Can confirm that these too are worth a try. Yummy and highly recommended. Don't walk by, walk in. Your tummy demands it.

Very cozy place, breakfast was great! We ordered the 3 eggs with bacon, crepes with nutella and a fruit bowl. Prices are very reasonable. The only downfall was that they didn't serve quiche til 11am.

Nice place in a great location, with good food, and handmade! The cappuccino and the croissant on the bench under the sun was my favorite time of the day!

Unique and exquisite. Take the road less traveled and experience a meal as if it was home made. Attention to detail in every aspect of the meal. Get the “Le Brunch” for breakfast. Glad we stopped by. An all time favorite from now on.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
