At La Perla, we had the best pizza experience in the Netherlands. The restaurant is conveniently divided into two separate spaces, situated across the street from each other. On one side, you'll find the pizza oven, kitchen, and storage, while on the other side, there's the cozy eat-in area and the inviting bar. It's worth noting that for the eat-in area, reservations are required, but for smaller groups, you can still enjoy your pizza on the kitchen side. The pizza crust was simply outstanding, perfectly cooked to perfection. They certainly use top-quality ingredients, as every single one of the five different pizzas we ordered was nothing short of amazing. Each slice was bursting with flavor and made us savor every bite. Furthermore, the atmosphere was delightful, and the service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall fantastic dining experience. If you're a pizza enthusiast like us, don't miss the opportunity to try out La Perla. You won't be disappointed!

We went here twice on our holiday. Such great pizzas! Would definitely recommend - and book a table, because they were busy. Sadly, the staff seemed very stressed, which made the experience a bit less nice, but the food was really good.

Solid, thin crust pizza. Decent atmosphere and service. Went again, a year later and still solid. Not up to level of Lucali in nyc or Serious Pie in Seattle or Pizzeria Bianca in AZ but for Amsterdam still very good. Thin crust but still chewy although a little flimsy but very flavorful. Decent pricing-€15-19 for a pie. That’s all for now.

Amazing pizza and a special star for Tim, I ordered for a bruschetta without cheese cause I cannot have dairy, so he came from the kitchen to the table to ask what other ingredient I wanted to improve my bruschetta! Super recommend

Overall, a very good experience! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, burrata salade was very delicious, crust of the pizza was crispy and toppings were really high quality. I gave 4 stars for the service because we waited a little too long for everything. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff were very friendly so the delay didn’t really impact our experience but service could have been better. In any case, we enjoyed our time there, and would definitely go back!

5 Stars al round. We arrived w/ no reservation and although full, they squeezed us in after only 20 min wait (don’t count on that happening—-MAKE A RESERVATION). La Perla is the only pizza we had in Amsterdam but what a great find: Cocktail list, Salads that exceeded the expectation and delicious pizza and combos. Attentive, very friendly service and great Aussies whom we met on our Bike Tour made for a very fun evening indeed. Note: Dinning Room/Bar are on opposing corners of the block-It’s fun to watch them run across the street!

Amazing atmosphere and decent pizzas. We tried salted fish pizza with red wine. Pizza was charred and tasted a bit burnt :/ Otherwise drool Worthy pizzas However loved the ambience in the corner of the street, with great outdoor sitting.

Pizza was heavenly. It’s one of the best I’ve had in Amsterdam. Music was a bit loud. Other than that it was perfect. Will definitely visit again

The pizza was very good. Perhaps the one my boyfriend got was lacking a little bit in toppings but it’s great value for money with excellent service - not always easy to find when you’re travelling. My margarita had a base that was crispy-slightly-burned but we realised it was a busy time for them as the place is clearly popular. We would definitely go back again.

Pizza is pretty good here, consistent quality and quick to come out of the kitchen. My issue here is always the service, there is never much warmth to it and even slight attitude at times. One incident on a recent visit was an example of this, we had confirmed over email that we were a group of 7 with confirmation that they could push tables together to accommodate this. When we got there the gentleman greeting us said he “doesn’t do the emails” so can’t help us… our group had to sit at separate tables. Shortly afterwards a set of tables that could be pushed together became free and they still wouldn’t accommodate it giving no actual reason why. To top it off, as we were leaving one of our group was standing up as a server tried to get by who felt the need to roll her eyes and look annoyed that someone could possibly accidentally step in her way. You clearly have a great reputation and fan base for your pizza - but don’t take your customers for granted, a little warmth and empathy in service goes a long way.

The pizza was delicious, really good. Unfortunately, the ginger tea was bearly lukewarm, not really a tea in this case, but more an infusion, with that cold water. And it had too much lemon. It covered the ginger taste. The staff was friendly and nice. We waited long enough for our pizzas to come, but it was crowded, and this might be the reason. Overall, an ok experience.

👍👍 The perfect place to enjoy high-quality seafood at a reasonable price. Was surprised to see this large restaurant buzzing at 5pm (both inside and outside!) but after seeing the fresh fish on display and trying the sashimi which just melts in the mouth I understood why. The staff were also very well-...
